Rom-com 101 with an extra spoonful of aspartame
If there is a cheat sheet for a DIY rom-com script writing then it might look like this;FL is young but ambitious. She just started her dream job as a baker/banker/brain surgeon but she faced a lot of challenges and prejudice. ML is the chef/CEO/civil engineer who took the FL under his wings and guided her to her destiny. OBTW, they fell madly in love and have X kids (kids optional, check current trend). Add extra CP to pad out screen time. Add antagonist just because.
Without too much deviation, that's just about summed up this show. Dial up the artificial sweetener dosage, downgrade the antagonist to mostly harmless and add a couple of extra CP from central casting and voila, it is done!
To be fair, using dubbing as a backdrop was interesting. It worked for half the show but it pretty much faded away and the usual business/relationship shenanigans took over. Thank goodness the dubbing here is for anime and not dramas. Don't get me started about the overuse and patchy quality of c-drama dubbing!
All the leads are good looking. There were some skinship and one CP was hot and sexy from the get-go while another CP had the worse case of the fishy kiss this year. The chemistry goes from ok to weak amongst the CP's. You know they are pre-ordained anyway. Ditto with swoon worthy moments. They are there but your mileage will differ. I do like the ML in several of his other shows but this time round he just felt too scripted.
It was interesting to see the show pushed tentatively at a few tropey boundaries but pull back timidly. Age gap love, toxic fandom, etc all had an airing but nothing much came of them. Evil schemes had little teeth. Antagonists were grey blobs. Relationship problems were passing storms, a "heartfelt" apology and it is back to kisses and cuddles, stat. The flip side to this angst aversion is that most of the typical angsty tropes have been banished and I am not too sad about that.
A few societal issues did make an appearance but all beat a hasty retreat as the Goddess of romantic comedy does not allow such impurities to pollute her temple. I'm not even sure what to make of their version of dementia. It was definitely used to milk the soppy angle to good effect. Dementia is a serious medical condition but it was given a very off-handed treatment here.
This show is actually not bad. Manufactured fluff this was but it is a perfect filler with a decent cast and mildly interesting story. If you are new to c-dramas or wanted the extra sugar hit then add an extra point to the score. If you are suffering from diabetes and groan every time you see that plot summary then subtract one point.
This is one of the most subjective score I have given in a long time. This is due in part to a sense of frustration/disappointment of the state of Chinese rom-com's. To reward mediocrity is to hasten the heat death of the genre.
Maybe this is why so many similar shows are being churned out by the mighty c-drama machine lately because it fill the gaps in programming schedules, relatively cheap and quick to produce and will sail past censors.
One time watch, one time listen and peace out.

Inspirational and cute drama
This is a good C-drama, mainly I decided to watch it because I have already seen other dramas of Miles Wei and I find him very expressive and cute, clearly showing that transition between loving and not loving someone. At the start I felt weird about the chemistry of the main leads but it's good enough, I think you may like it or not depending on how you prefer the development of a relationship in dramas. In this drama the relationship of the main characters is a little more tender, slower, mutually supportive, but on the other hand they contrast with the other 2 relationships of the drama, which In short, highlights that each relationship is different and goes through its own processes and conflicts.I always have problems finishing C-dramas because of "silly" fights or conflicts between the characters that take a long time to resolve, so that really stresses and bores me, BUT in this drama the conflicts are logical and not complicated, are resolved in a fluid or/and fast way ... not everything has to be so dramatic always.
Yes, I recommend it, but you have to know that this is not the most romantic drama you will ever see from my point of view if you compare it with many others, but it is very inspiring and it has a story that inside everything can keep you watching.

Don’t hesitate to watch this drama
Ever since, unforgettable love, i been watching dramas where miles wei was starring in. I liked this drama a lot. I read that this isn’t miles wei best of the dramas he has been in. I disagree. I liked this drama as much as the other ones. maybe i’m just being biased but oh well. I liked the storyline, it was different from other cdramas that i’ve watched so far. The lead actress was also wonderful. I likes her character as much as miles wei’s character. The main lead couple, in my opinion, had wonderful chemistry and worked so well together. This drama has made me cry, laugh, swoon (lol). I can’t wait for dramas from these lead actors. Please don’t hesitate to watch drama. Give it a chance. One thing, i wish it was different, is the subtitles. I wish they could correct it because sometimes the subtitles in english didn’t make sense but i could tell what they were trying to say. I wish they could fix that. Othertheless, I really like this drama. I hope you enjoy the drama as much as i did.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Must watch for the voice over actors or dubbing artists
It's a very good drama... just my choiceLess romance and more concentration on the
Them.
As expected in Miles Wei Dramas the romance comes late slow so don't expect puppy romance much, and Pan mei was Good choice.
Don't read hate comments..
It's a about voice artists.. aren't the cast supposed to modulate the voice??
And artists were casted according to their capabilities..
All the kids have done a very good job..
I loved the fight between AI virtuality and Human reality .
AI is replacing many thing, in music, in surgery,in catering etc
But Google, Siri Alexa etc can't replace Mom n Dad.
I also loved the friendship
Standing one for all And all for one..
Trust and taking time for mending relationship between each of the pairs and friends.
I especially loved the ending Easter eggs and titbits...
1 can re-watch again

Not like the story much
Story based on dubbing actors and their industries. How they struggled and then made it .So lead was once a dubbing star but due to some reason he dropped from this and continue to work in the same industry but as a role of director . Afterwards he met female lead who was a new in this field but dubbing was her favourite work .
During this they had fallen in love as time passed his faced a downfall and with female lead he had built a ne company and at last he succeeded and drama was over.
I liked daughter -father relationship part as well as leads'chemistry and other couples too .
And that thing balanced the drama.

This Cdrama is not my cup of tea
At first I was happy to know about the anime dubbing they're doing since I like anime a lot but some part of the story is so unrealistic and I felt that Miles Wei doesn't have the same kind of chemistry with Pan Mei Ye like he has with Hu Yixuan in unforgettable love. Unforgettable love was really nice to watch, I actually watched it a lot of times now since they're so cute together and they're so good at acting. On the otherhand in this series which has 32 episodes I got bored and just skipping some scenes at the half of the series. Pan Mei Ye and Miles Wei doesn't have the chemistry for me. ✌️Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Team drama Clearly being biased
Finally the drama is finishedIf voice has memory is pan mei ye’s 1st drama as female lead, im very proud of her, good job baby girl
You’ve worked hard, talk about drama this very fresh I mean drama which talked about dubbing world is quite interesting since rarely production house produced this kind of drama, so we hot more info dubbing from this drama,
If voice has memory is (light) romance drama actually is not my cup of tea, but since mei ye as fl so I watched it, for male lead people say that’s miles wei is popular what I want to say thanks to male lead, thank you for taking care mei ye during filming, I saw all behind the scenes miles wei look comfortable with her, playing and teased each other like friends pan mei ye is mood maker, she always cheerful and active, people around her will get positive vibe because of her
but what make me disappointed is the way team “if voice has memory” especially the one who managed weibo account is clearly being biased and did dirty to pan mei ye,the way team rarely posted and promoted pan mei ye in their account like she isn’t their heroine (female lead) as I know usually female lead will get more spotlight in promotion but they mostly posted only for Male lead, like solo poster, GIFs, vlog solo behind the scene etc,I can count pan mei ye’s poster just with one hand, I think all pan mei ye’s fans noticed it, but we just silent since mei ye is rooki actor, and its weird that main actors didn’t have Interview promotion, anyone can answer this ? at least for one but miles wei and mei ye didn’t get one.
and the funniest thing is some people (from Male lead fans) attacked mei ye for her style in if voice has memory they called my baby girl u*ly, when actually her style in drama is just Yu Luxi’s character not real her, people need to learn which one real which one fiction, pan mei ye is pretty and beautiful girl and people need to know that dragged someone for physic is racist and low behavior, this drama supposed to be our happiness but team and toxic fans ruined it.
Over all I rate this drama 7,5/10 not really satisfied but still grateful for pan mei ye and miles wei
