Nice, fast paced costume production (read alternative summary)

This is a nice costume production with decent actors and an entertaining and slightly romantic storyline.
In the beginning I did have trouble deciding whether to love or slap this childish/peppy FL. Fortunately she grew up.
I loved the calm/supportive ML, but my favorite character was actually this wonderful Emperor. Well, if you like a fast and entertaining story, this is a nice watch.
Summary should rather be something like this:
Sheng Tao Tao is a princess that is unruly, arrogant and reckless. Her father, the Emperor, gives her a marriage to General Mo Li but she refuses to accept. When she once again messes up - unintentionally - at the Emperor’s birthday party, he punishes her by sending her to a province that is down and out. Although he officially puts the marriage on hold, she sends Mo Li with her, partly to secretly investigate a case surrounding a gold mine and partly to see if they would be able to get to know each other better and maybe even cultivate feelings.
On the way all their money is robbed, which sets in motion a string of events as they try to get used to living in this poor place and find that sinister forces are unwilling to let them stay. But this stubborn, money-grubbing and arrogant Princess isn’t prone to giving up without a good fight.
