A GOOD TIMEPASS SHOW

I think the story line is actually very good there are soo many emotions Depicted in the Drama Funny,Sad,Romantic vibes as well as some Drama. Give this a Look as an Tv Show / Serial and less as in a Typical Kdrama I actually enjoy watching it while eating 👍
I think the main Characters and the Family Have a Very important Role in this show and the side characters don't have much of an Significance which is a Down point

Oh my! 💕 I don’t usually write movie reviews although am a movie freak but I prefer to glance through reviews before watching one.
So if you are the same as me, and if this review gets to you, this is a chance for you to watch this masterpiece 😫🔥. The Ost ✅ , the characters ✅, cinematography ✅ almost everything is perfect at least for the episodes dropped so far. Honestly am the happiest person to witness episode 8 . I’m so happy right now that I decided to drop this review. Please if you are reading this, don’t hesitate to hop on it. I just hope this movie gets to those who need it and not the other way around. I’m only sad that it’s ending next year but I will keep on going with the drama till it ends ❤️

AMAZING kdrama, I predict this to become a classic. It is done "old school way" it is extremely creative and well filmed,n like those iconic kdramas that we love to rewatch and remember, The plot is great, the script is great, the acting is great, the characters are great, the costuming and music are great. It is a memorable piece of art.
Because it shows life in a great way - there is love warmth and grace and fun and also grief sadness danger all at the same time and somehow the characters navigate it to the best of their ability. It is an AMAZING kdrama. it is very RICH IN CHARACTER, you can really see the characters.

I cannot give the spoilers because it is impossible. I just say that the music matches the action in a very very comical way. That the lead male character is a comical guy and the main female character is yeah blind but also extremely powerful and graceful. And beautiful. I love her black hair and eyes. So all those unexpected twists are amazing and really fun to watch. I do improv comedy and this drama reminds me of that. It is totally unexpected even when it is expected. The scene of 2 of them walking with that IV tower is sooo comical... there are lots and lots of comical moments.

i love that this kdrama has amazing DIALOGUES and "self thinking" so we really get to see what characters are like... that really makes it for a rich experience.
BC MOST OF THOSE DIALOGUES AND THOUGHTS ARE HONEST so we get to see the process

The only thing I will say is that all kdramas use the came plot - there is some woman who cannot help herself and then some dude bails her out. Most if not all kdramas are about women who are irrational and get in trouble and need saving by some guy, who melts his cold heart because of her. I DO hope this kdrama will NOT do that.

Blind Devotion: When Motherly Love Turns into Selective Compassion"

In Iron Family, the portrayal of the family dynamic raises complex questions about parental love, favoritism, and autonomy, especially concerning the female lead, who is blind. While the series aims to highlight resilience and familial bonds, it also showcases troubling dynamics where the mother’s intense focus on her blind daughter feels more like pity-driven attachment than respect for her as an individual.

The female lead’s blindness is used as a focal point for her interactions, and at times, it seems she leverages this condition to receive undue favors or sympathy. While her challenges are understandable, her actions often appear to cross into manipulation, using her disability to gain advantages that others might not. Rather than portraying her as a nuanced character dealing with the complexities of disability, she sometimes comes across as someone who exploits the goodwill of others, subtly reinforcing harmful stereotypes.

The mother’s character is perhaps even more problematic. The overwhelming attention she gives to her blind daughter overshadows her relationships with her other children, who are largely ignored unless they serve her primary focus. This dynamic creates an unhealthy environment, suggesting that only those who are "special" or "in need" deserve unconditional love and attention, while the "normal" siblings are left feeling unloved and undervalued. Such favoritism can have lasting psychological effects, fostering resentment and a sense of inadequacy in the other children.

Though the mother is depicted as a selfless, caring figure, her actions imply otherwise. Her love seems conditional, and rather than empowering her daughter, she inadvertently stifles her independence, treating her with a pity that undermines true respect. This lack of respect fails to recognize the blind daughter as a whole person, capable of agency and dignity beyond her disability. In reality, this kind of overprotectiveness can be incredibly harmful, perpetuating dependency and robbing the daughter of the chance to lead a fuller, autonomous life.

In short, Iron Family brings attention to the bonds and struggles of a family dealing with disability, but its execution risks reinforcing stereotypes and fostering unhealthy family dynamics. By presenting favoritism and pity-driven love as normal or even noble, the show misses an opportunity to depict a more balanced, respectful family relationship that encourages all members' growth and well-being.
