Ding Xian, a new college student, starts her college life by confessing to her love - Zhou Si Yue, but she gets rejected. The story then flashbacks to the past with Ding Xian's family moving to a new city. They move into the same neighbourhood as Zhou Si Yue. His parents are good friends with Ding Xian to the point that they even had a betrothal planned for the two children. Xian meets Zhou Si Yue that day at a family dinner, and they start off on the wrong foot. To make matters worse, they end up being desk mates at school. But will their misunderstanding quiver a blooming romance and an innocent friendship? Or, will they secretly form a special bond of a lifetime?
