War Of Faith - All time Best Republican History Drama!!
This project is masterpiece and rare in this republican era genre of Chinese drama.Well-written scripts which is interesting, informative, intriguing till the end.
All characters are portrayed by amazing actors!!
Directing, cinematography, background music, theme songs, storyline with economic background, dialogues, acting performances are amazingly outstanding which I haven’t seen in Chinese drama land before, as int’l audiences!!
natural color correcting without over skin-smoothing!!
Script is not slow and fast-paced and interesting plots.
->All casts are really good at portraying in their own characters!!!
-> this is rare about historical fiction drama, based on true event but not propaganda totally.
->Although this is republican main theme drama, int'l audiences will not be boring!!
There are strong chemistry between main lead characters and supporting senior actors.
We can see potential of script level after watching episode 1 and 2!
Firstly I thought this would be boring banker story, but now it is intriguing unexpectedly and makes me continue to watch next episodes.
WangYibo portrays as Wei Ruolai character in natural way without overacting.
Wei Ruolai scenes are mostly deep and heavy but yibo portrayed this character perfectly !!
Wang Yibo is really talented in acting and we can see his progressive and improvement acting skills in his every new projects.
We can see his emotional scenes for his brother which is totally different acting performance with his previous others projects!
There will be some humorous plots in Epi 21 / 22 will be light-hearted and makes you laugh!!!

Yibo's acting is sooooo good and the production quality is insane!!
I have watched 3 episodes and so far I am LOVING this drama! The production quality is amazing! and you can tell the director is soooo talented at his craft. The theme might look boring, because this is a republican era spy drama but the drama is absolutely not, there's not a single scene where you get bored. The plot is very interesting!!This drama scenes is so artfully shot, you'd think you're watching an art film. The music is impeccable, the camera quality and cinematography is fire! Me as an art film lover, I am so mesmerized by director's work in this drama.
But my most favourite thing about this drama is Wang Yibo's acting. I have been his fan since the untamed and I have watched all his works. Up until now, his best performance was in Hidden Blade and One and Only and he has gotten many prestigious nominations for Hidden Blade.
But I think THIS performance is his best till date. His progress in acting is visible and he is sooo good here, you'd think he's a trained actor, not an idol turned actor. He is one of the very rare Chinese actors who has natural acting talent. He deserves many many awards for this!
Highly recommend!! Please give a watch!

Wang Yibo's role
I watched it last Friday.It's incredible cuz I love Wang Yibo and his role.Sometimes,I forget that he is WangYibo and I am in the mood of Wei Ruolai.Even in the first episode,he is attractive to watch again and again.His natural acting skill is the best for this movie to watch.You should watch if you like a story with a strong plot.Don't forget to try.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

So far so good. China was in civil unrest, fight between KMT vs communist, Japanese occupation.The FL is a Communist and a train assassin she was born in a influencial family, her brother is a banker in the banking sector.
ML come from the rural areas of china very poor, he is a intelligent man came to the Shanghai to look for jobs. He later work for FL older brother company.
