Bad Casting for FL

While the beginning of this drama was good- it quickly declined. Whoever casted the FL- needs to be fired- her acting was horrible- she should have stayed as a secondary not lead. She needs more experiences and there was no chemistry - between both MLs. This is one of the drama I would not re-watch.

Promising drama with a lot of plot holes and untold backstories.

I'm not usually the type to watch business/chaebol dramas that don't involve romance (mostly) so this drama is one of my first of that kind of genre. The synopsis seemed interesting so i gave it a try. I was told this story will involve love triangles (which is one of the tropes i hate the most), but since romance isn't the main genre, i decided to continue watching it.

From the first two episodes, I was sucked in by the bromance of the two male leads. It was good chemistry and i loved it. Later, when the female lead comes into scene, I was wondering why did the two male leads fall for her so quickly, and it felt like the bromance kinda fell apart after she came in between them. The female lead's acting is not good, as the public opinion agrees. She's expressionless and i was hoping that she can show more expression through out the series. Although, i might think that it's intentional, as female lead most probably dont view the male leads as friends, nor love interests. She might be faking everything, but that doesn't excuse her for potraying the character poorly.
The timelines of the story was straight forward, but we rarely get any backstory. It felt like the build up for the story was half baked and not well constructed, i guess it is understandable as it is only around 12 episodes. The supposely "interesting parts" of the story was not convincing nor memorable for me. The sister of the rich male lead was interesting. Her character and Tae-Oh(male lead) has amazing chemistry. I'm hoping their relationship will develop soon.

From episode 3 and 4, the "plan" that Tae-Oh has begun was suprisingly interesting along with the chairman. Their secret plans along with the hacker that ruined the Kang family was wicked indeed. The chairman faking in a coma was a plot twist for me lol. The satisfaction i got from Tae-Oh's plans is great. The fight scene between In-Ha and Tae-Oh at the beach was weird. I don't get what Tae-Oh wants or what his intentions are, and In-Ha is being so freaking childish its annoying. The way his personality went backwards 5 years later was sad. The fight at the carpark with Hui-ju was kinda spicy ngl!! I love their angst as of right now (if there's any) and I will be more than happy if Hui-Ju gets more scenes or together with Tae-Oh even if they eventually don't end up together.
I am very curious on how this story unfolds as there are a lot of stories that are left uncovered so im hoping there's more plot twists soon.

Don't waste your time

This kdrama was so hard to watch like I would rather watch love alarm instead of this. The plot was so good at the starting like eating the rich but then it wasn't executed properly. The plot was so bad that even lee junyoung and lee jaewook's power duo couldn't save it. On top of that miss Hong suzu's acting was so much horrendous like girl should have just stay a model, I am sure that she is sweet person irl and she is very beautiful but she should really take some acting class or maybe action isn't her thing. This drama was so bad that I wanted to give it a 0 but I couldn't so I gave it a 1

Too Linear Timeline Prefix

K-Drama with a too linear timeline prefix, a boring storyline, because unlike the usual K-Drama storyline that often alternates flash back and future, giving a sense of an interesting plot twist.

Royal Loader (Imposible Heir) is a 2024 K-Drama that tells the story of a power struggle among the heirs of a Korean conglomerate. The drama stars Lee Jae Wook, Lee Jun Young and Hong Suzu as the main leads, who are involved in a love triangle and a scheme to take over the company. The drama is directed by Min Yeon Hong and written by Choi Won.

The drama follows the life of Kang In Ha (Lee Jun Young), an illegitimate son of the chairman of Kang Oh Group, who leaves his poverty behind and joins forces with his childhood friend Han Tae Oh (Lee Jae Wook), they work together to claim Kang In Ha's rightful place at the top of society. Together, they plan to overthrow the other candidates for the throne, including Kang In Joo (Han Sang Jin), the chairman's first son and In Ha's half-brother. However, their ambition is challenged by Na Hye Won (Hong Suzu), a woman with a troubled past who has her own agenda.

The drama is a stereotypes story that explores the themes of class conflict, power struggle, tough past, conglomerate, scheme, ambition, betrayal and suspense. It also contrasts the lives of the 'golden spoon' and the 'dirt spoon', showing how they clash and cooperate in their pursuit of success. The drama has received positive reviews from critics and viewers alike, who praised its gripping plot, stellar cast, high production value and realistic portrayal of the dark side of society.

The drama has some flaws, however. One of them is the too linear timeline that makes the story predictable and less exciting. Unlike other K-Dramas that often use flashbacks and flashforwards to create plot twists and suspense, Royal Loader (Imposible Heir) sticks to a chronological order that reveals everything upfront. This makes the viewers lose interest and curiosity as they already know what will happen next. Another flaw is the boring storyline that relies on clichés and stereotypes. The drama uses many tropes that are common in K-Dramas, such as the illegitimate child, the chaebol family feud, the love triangle, the childhood friends turned enemies, etc. These tropes make the drama lack originality and creativity, as they have been seen before in many other dramas.

So, Royal Loader (Imposible Heir) is a K-Drama that has its strengths and weaknesses. It is a well-made drama that showcases the talents of its cast and crew, but it also suffers from a lackluster plot that fails to surprise and impress.

It is a drama that can be enjoyed by fans of thrillers and business dramas, but it may not appeal to those who are looking for something fresh and innovative.
