That was an awkward way to end an episode, but many Chinese drama ends their episodes like this. I'm still not used to it, especially when it's in the middle of an intriguing scene. I'm curious why Zhendong's mother doesn't allow him to race. I have a feeling it's related to his father. I wonder why we haven't seen him yet. Maybe he passed away, and his death is related to racing?
