A Great BL With Mature Characters
This was an enjoyable bl with more mature characters. The tone was very sweet and refreshing. It was nice to see characters in their 30s convey the feelings of finding love when you’re not so young but you’ve experienced a little more of life and feeling a bit lost and unfulfilled. The dialogue is one of its strongest points. It frames the story so well. Also, the scene where the younger makes a move on the older is filled with so much tension and release. This series makes you feel giddy like a teenager even though the leads are not in their teens.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Cortito y al pie, pero muy lindo.
¡Hola, muchachada! Hoy me paso por acá para hablarles de un BL después de bastante tiempo (si no contamos la película de Cherry Magic, obvio).Dormir, despertar y trabajar son las palabras que describen la rutina de Nozue, de 39 años, cosa que le preocupa mucho a Togawa, un subordinado suyo de 29 años que tiene sentimientos por él. Un día, cansado de ver cómo Nozue parece estancado en su vida, Togawa decide tomar cartas en el asunto y le propone realizar juntos una serie de actividades para hacerlo sentir joven otra vez.
Tenía pendiente este BL desde que se estrenó por tres cosas: los protagonistas son adultos, tuvo una muy buena respuesta del público y es súper cortito (solo 5 episodios de 25 min aprox c/u). Ahora que lo vi estoy feliz de decirles que valió completamente la pena, ya que es una historia sencilla, simpática, graciosa y bien actuada (por suerte los protagonistas no son para nada exagerados). Además, no le tuvieron miedo al éxito con algunas escenas, if you know what i mean.
Los personajes genuinamente me gustaron bastante y siento que, si bien su situación claramente no es la de todo el mundo, no es tan difícil identificarse un poco con ciertas cuestiones que los aquejan, sobre todo en lo referente a lo que sentimos que podemos o no podemos hacer después de cierta edad, al miedo a los cambios, etc.
Para colmo me encantaron todas las interacciones entre Nozue y Togawa, más que nada porque este último no desaprovechaba cualquier oportunidad que se le presentaba para tirar indirectas bastante directas jaja.
La producción es otra cosa que me gustó mucho. No es que sea impresionante, pero está súper bien. Y la intro me recordó un poco a la de Cherry Magic, así que 10/10 por ese lado.
No les digo que se fue a mis BLs favoritos de la vida porque no es así. No sé bien qué, pero para mí le faltó algo para terminar de enamorarme por completo, tal vez que la relación tuviera más desarrollo (aunque por el tiempo que tuvieron, está excelente). En fin, no sé, pero lo que sí sé es que genuinamente lo recomiendo bastante, ya que seguro les termina gustando al menos un poquito.

Pefectly formed realistic short drama
I love the short format, and hate the fillers of lingering shots that go on forever but are just padding out telly schedules.This is really a simple story about real love and growth, and how trying something new, even if it is only a new cake, can lead to life changes. It's beautifully shot, acted, and believable, such a treat to like both characters, so you want to meet them in real life proper adult emotions not acting like teenagers.
Almost a ten, if I was being greedy I would have loved to have seen their first proper disagreement,
Just can not my head around being considered old at forty, when some people are very set in their ways and resistant to change at thirty.

An autumn romance
You know when the seasons change from summer to fall, the air is crisp, and the color of the leaves on the trees are just about to change? It's perfect but fleeting. Well that's what this drama reminds me of. It's very cozy like a cup of coffee in your favorite cafe on a perfect autumn day..from the music, to the sephia tones, close up/long shots, smart wardrobe, and it's overall classy mature aesthetic. This drama is visually a masterpiece, a work of art.The writing is equally as impressive. In the brief time alloted, the male leads love story is told. And what a romantic beautiful story it is.
Old fashion cupcake never feels rushed and somehow takes it's time with development. The acting is some of the best I've seen in a drama. Both leads had such amazing chemistry. The tension, the emotion, and flirtation between the two felt believable and real from start to finish. I loved everything about this drama and give it a solid 10/10.

Are you ready to love somebody? Well, you will definitely love this couple!
I was contemplating at first about checking this series since I don't like short series at all. However, one night, when I ran out of Japanese BLs to watch, I decided to try checking it out and man, I've never giggled and screamed like this. Well, it is just an office romance, but I enjoyed every minute of it. If you want to watch something fresh, cute, sweet, or maybe you just want to scream because of how cute the characters are, this series is for you! It took me a week to get over with them, lmao. Age is but a number
Japan, back at it again with their calm, feel good, healing dramas.The thing I enjoyed about this drama the most is the tone - it's very warm, light, relaxing and playful. Your mood is constantly just positive throughout the drama.
We are first introduced to the leads as co-workers, then co-workers helping each other out, friends, and finally lovers. The progression was so perfectly well done considering the short duration of the episodes and length of the series.
Togawa's respect towards Nozue and his one-sided love for him was a sight to behold and Nozue's oblivious(?)/playful flirting with Togawa was so entertaining. First and foremost, I loved the characters' banter. Their dialogue felt so realistic/non cringe-worthy, there was an actual flow to their conversations that made all their interactions appear natural. They joke with each other so naturally and bounce off of eo so seamlessly that you quickly forget they're actually just boss and subordinate. They're the kind of on-screen couple that you don't just ship because they look good together but you ship because they actually fit and you can imagine them being 80 years old together still loving and respecting and learning from one another, you know? There was just such a fresh breath of natural realism between this couple that amplified the romance aspect even more for me. So every moment I spent watching their relationship progress was truly an enjoyable experience.
My only small complaint is I wish we had more intimate scenes of them together when they finally became a couple (hehe) but I know that wasn't the point of the drama so it definitely didn’t take away from my experience watching the show.
Overall, if you're looking for something really light, low-angst, playful, sweet and romantic then definitely give this a shot!

บรรยากาศเอย แคสติ้งเอย เนื้อเรื่องเอย มันไม่ควรมีแค่ 5 ตอนใช่มั้ยล่ะ? แต่ถ้ามองอีกนัยก็คือเรื่องดีๆ ไม่จำเป็นต้องมีตอนเยอะก็สนุกได้ แต่ก็นะเห็นใจคนดูหน่อยมีแค่นี้เอง...
ชอบการคัดคนแสดงออกมาได้ใกล้เคียงกับมังงะ สตอรี่ก็คล้ายๆ กับมังงะแต่กลิ่นอายดูเป็นธรรมชาติ ต้องปรบมือให้ทั้งโคเฮย์ซังและทัตสึนาริซังเลย เก่งทั้งคู่ ตัวละครของโคเฮย์คือเหมาะกับหัวหน้าแผนกสุดๆ หน้าตา น้ำเสียง นิสัยคือเขาแสดงออกมามีมิติและรูปลักษณ์เหมาะสมกับที่คาดไว้มาก ส่วนทัตสึนาริก็เช่นกัน พนักงานหนุ่มสุขขุม เย็นชาเล็กน้อย แต่พอได้อยู่กับหัวหน้าแผนกก็หางกระดิกไปมา เหมือนม๋าน้อยเลย
เนื้อเรื่องดำเนินไปแบบง่ายๆ มีฉากให้ฟินบ้างเขินบ้าง >< แต่ถ้าไม่มีดราม่าเรื่องก็ไม่แซ่บไง ก็ใส่มาเลยเสริฟ์พร้อมกับคนดูที่นั่งตูดไม่ติดก้น ภาวนาให้สองคนเข้าใจกัน 555 (ไม่ได้พูดถึงตัวเองที่ดูจริงๆ) สนุกมากนะ ย่อยง่าย ถึงจะมีบางฉากที่ไม่ค่อยสมเหตุสมผลแต่บรรยากาศมันพาไปอ่ะเนอะ เราก็อินจัดจนมองข้ามจุดนั้นไป
เพลงเปิด blue blur เพราะมาก ให้ฟีลกีตาร์เล่นคลอระหว่างเดินบนถนนในยามเช้าที่ไม่ค่อยมีคนพลุ่งพล่านหรือกำลังนั่งจิบกาแฟร้อนๆ ในหน้าหนาวที่คาเฟ่ขาประจำ อิ่มเอมกัลบรรยากาศอะไรทำนองนี้ค่ะ เนื้อเพลงก็เหมาะกับใครสักคนที่เจอคนที่ใช่เข้ามาเปลี่ยนแปลงชีวิต เข้ามาให้สีสันกับใจดวงหม่นๆ นี้ได้กระชุ่มกระชวยเป็นผู้เป็นคนอีกครั้ง เป็นเพลงที่ฟีลกู้ดมากค่ะแนะนำเลย
แนะนำให้กับคนที่อยากดูซีรีย์วายญี่ปุ่นแต่ไม่รู้จะเริ่มตรงไหน หรือใครไม่มีอะไรดูก็อยากฝากเรื่องนี้ไว้ในอ้อมอกอ้อมใจนะคะ

Akhir-akhir ini BL Jepang bener-bener memuaskan. Gila banget sih sama kisah-kisah mereka yang sangat kuat! Baru kali ini pertama kalinya banyak series dari jepang yang kutonton secara bersamaan dan kesemuanya kusuka. Dan series ini adalah puncaknya! Bravo!
Kelemahan utama dari series ini hanyalah satu, durasi! Series ini hanya ditamatkan dengan 5 episode saja. Benar-benar membuatku sakit hati rasanya. Kenapa series-series bagus hanya memiliki durasi yang amat pendek :(

Let's make the best manga adaptation this year
Story : Liking this story or not depends on your preferences and it's okay that some people are not comfortable with a 10 years old gap but ME? I LOVED ITThe whole story is fluff with 5% drama, it's just the two main leads and the other world as just cannon fodders

Storytelling: The script is so good, they can extract holy water from the script and sprinkle it on other dramas so they could be this wholesome... joking aside, the characters are well-portrayed, new informations were delivered beautifully and it attracts the audience till the end, they try their best to deliver every thing through picture or dialogues (yeah, goodbye to useless monologues, as we know how some lazy screenwriters/directors love it)

The directing is good for a tv drama, I can't ask more than this (atleast for now)....
The cast choice (similarity to its original manga) is excellent and the acting is way better than your average bl drama cast....

Overall : Everything good
You can easily come back to this drama if you ever crave for something sweet 😋

Story- I loved the story! It was short, simple, and super cute. When we first got introduced to the story and the Characters it seemed a little boring, but after we got introduced to Togawa I loved it!

Now, the series is not that long and for a short story, the plot line was amazing. I only have one thing that I got a little bumped about and that was the romance.
Now there is romance in this series, don't get me wrong, but for me, it was not enough.
(I am a fan of spicy Bl`s and I am not the biggest fan of the wholesome ones so keep that in mind)
I was hyped up about ep.4. the whole reason I started watching this series was that I saw a TikTok with the scene in ep4.
When i got to the scene it was amazing, but what ended up happening was that I got my expectations too high for the last episode. Because the seen in ep.4 was so spicy I hoped for a sex scene sines that did not happen in ep.4, but to my sadly surprise the ep 4 kiss was the last kiss :(
Music- Loved the music (i have nothing more to say lol)
Acting- Amazing acting and a plus in the book since the actors were kind of hot.
In my opinion, I recommend this series to others! but keep in mind that if you personally like. spicy BLs then be prepared to be a little disappointed.

Uma boa história para maratonar
Achei bem bonitinho esse bl. A cada dia gosto mais dos bl's japoneses.Podia ser mais longo, 5 episódios é muito pouco! Com mais episódios a história poderia se desenvolver com mais profundidade... porém, apenas com os cinco episódios foi um bom bl, que cumpriu o que prometeu. Teve só alguns momentos da história que achei meio esquisito como retrataram, por exemplo isso de "agir como garotas". Eu entendi o que queriam dizer, mas achei esquisito kkkk
Eu gostei do ritmo pois me lembrou os melodramas (até mesmo na paleta de cores utilizada). É uma história mais lenta e dramática mesmo, porém não achei entediante, é apenas calmo e tranquilo de assistir.
Queria destacar também a cinematografia, gostei bastante da forma como foi filmado, as cores e a fotografia.
Achei um bom bl pra maratonar, por ser curtinho mesmo. Não me marcou, mas gostei.

Un romance de oficina que te deja suspirando de amor
Togawa ayuda a que Nozue se de cuenta que no hay edad ni género para disfrutar de la vida, enamorarse y arriesgarse a probar algo nuevo cada día.No es sorpresa la capacidad que tienen las historias BL japonesas para enamorar de principio a fin y dejar con deseos de ver más. Old Fashion Cupcake no es la excepción.
Explota al máximo la dualidad de la pareja principal, dándonos tanto ternura emocional como deseo físico.
La reflexión que hace sobre no perder la motivación de vivir y estancarte sólo por llegar a cierta edad, es preciosa y necesaria. A eso se le suma el amor, admiración y pasión de un empleado por su jefe una década mayor. Simplemente grandioso.
Buenas actuaciones, dirección, química grandiosa, personajes con vidas comunes, preocupaciones genuinas, sin drama en exceso y con un mensaje alentador. Me encantó. Amaría ver algún tipo de secuela sólo para tener un poco más de Togawa y Nozue.
