This would have to be the worst ending ever in a Korean Drama
I only continued to watch this till the end, because of Yoo Yeon Seok and Tae-yu Moon . The rest of the cast is below average. (I guess it not their fault - absolutely terrible writing/directing) Half way through the show I asked myself if the writer would serioulsy pick up their game at one point with this love story . Unfortunatley this was been DRAGGED OUT to an absolute nothingness to say the least. Moon Ga-young with her BLANK stares and maddening silence is beyong comprehension. When they ask each other all those ridiculous questions and then answering with another question, almost the whole time? How totally ludicrous can they be? If that is how adults communicate with each other these days , one has to wonder about the existence of logic and common sense.Maybe it can be salvaged by a 2nd season where the couple actually get together. I gave the 5 stars acting for the two male actors I mentioned.

And the ending tho, after going through lots of things, they are still not together, and they just leave us with them walking together, looking at each other, like telling how much I miss you, I love you, then what Suyeong gonna do, she will accept him now or she will just stay single forever ????
Actually I feel Moon Gayoung doesn't really suit a quiet girl character, like when she smile, I feel somehow of awkward, but other than that, everything is perfect. I love her characters more in True Beauty.

Don’t waste your time
It had a really good leading story in the beginning but it just starts to get boring after each episode… oh gosh. I had to skip many parts. So just don’t waste your time on this drama, for real. It’s a very slow drama, with very good actors though, however, the story is just not good.
They would stare at each other for a few seconds so many times, which gets boring after some time so I had no option, I had to keep skipping some staring parts.
I feel like she was very toxic and just drags everyone around her down. I felt so bad for him in the whole drama.

Not Good Enough
Korean Drama " The Interest of Love " is an office melodrama. The drama is heavy when it came to the melodrama of the romance, with messy relationships and complicated heroes that didn't express their feelings to each other, often leading to frustrating situations. Hence, the story was boring and tiring to watch. The characters were annoying too, especially the main female lead who was all over the place.
The performances were, on the other hand, good enough, with the actors and actresses handling their characters nicely.
The pace was okay as well.
So, overall, three out of ten.

Lot of ups and downs - No clear ending
The Interest of Love was translated as "Investimento de Risco" (Risk investiment) in Brazil by Netflix. I don´t know why. It tried to show a deep and complex relationship between two main central couples, but it failed as there as many ups (good moments) and downs. Last episode is the worst showing lots of past moments. It looks like that directors didn´t know what to do or finish the story. Unfortunately, actor Yoo Yeon-seok starts playing his role very well in the initial episodes but he loses his "bright" as good actos he used to be.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Missed opportunity of a nice KDrama
Till chapter 12 all was interesting, then I feel the story is nice explained and have 2 scenes, later on we can believe that not "real" ones, but can be real. The ending is a shame, last 4 chapters turn in the idea that lovers only think in be platonic.
The story , for me, must end using the 2 initial scenes in chapter 9 and 12. I want this scenes to be real!
And the scenes can be part of the story, we only need to think in a arranged wedding and the, known by all sides, but secret for the public 2413 room love scene between the main actors!
And, because of this she pretend the infidelity...
I want to believe that this ending is really what happened but the director didn't have the courage to film it...

i dont know
I didn't like it even though the story was different but it wasn't good for me I was able to finish the drama because of the actors' intelligence or because of their love for the work but I was forced to play In my opinion, it should not have been much better if love didn't hurt to raise the name of the drama, understanding love I mean....and what was interesting was the end of the drama But you could have gone forward in the drama . I thought it was very simple In my opinion, the totality of the drama changed my opinion at the beginning of the best but my opinion is that it was an unexpected drama and that made it more excellentEsta resenha foi útil para você?
STRONG start, BORING ass middle and LAME ending
I loved the first episodes; they provided a great set up for a very promising ride. The office setting, the jerks, the gossipy tellers, the asshole boss with a double life, the intricate main characters, and above all the social class and status being a very important aspect, it almost felt like another character in itself. In short, this series had everything going for it, especially the angst. So what happend? Shallow writing that's my guess.
Midway I realized that the writer decided not to dig deep into the characters’ lives and just stay on the surface. What was interesting about the main characters at first became irritating.
If you want the viewers to do the work please give us a bigger taste of the meat, just like in LOST, it challenged the viewer in a very powerful way, by not shying away from very profound emotions, difficult situation and ultimate despair. That series was slow and silence was a big part of the whole, but it never felt like the characters stared at each other endlessly or spoke in an unnatural slow speed just because.
In TIOL silence was just empty, we as viewers weren´t challenged instead we were asked to be patient and imagine a whole world just by looking at the main characters face, especially the FL´s wide eyed face. In the early episodes her face was intriguing, but at some point I didn´t know what to do with it. Was she being surprised, annoyed, embarrassed, worried, grateful, flirtatious, sad, happy…? I asked myself what does it mean, what is she thinking... Soon after a few episodes I gave up… when i realized that perhaps there was nothing there. I felt tricked into believing that there was more than meets the eye.
So, what am i left with? The one-sided love story of our ML which was done masterfully by the actor? If so, is not enough for a 16 episode series, if that´s all there is. This series in my opinion lacks content, lots of it to put it blunty. I haven´t seen the final episode, but I doubt that I´ll get all what it is missing in that one last episode. I hope I´m wrong and if I am, I´ll come back and update my review.
I still recommend this series, the production value is high, the acting is excellent, the directing choices not so much, the writing is lacking especially midway onwards.

Don’t waste time
One line of story been dragged so much with unnecessary twists and turns. I only watched 4 episodes completely and now only the last few seconds of preview with a little hope of the drama being interesting. But unfortunately no. Acting no doubt but without proper story what’s the point of so much efforts. DONT WASTE TIME!One line of story been dragged so much with unnecessary twists and turns. More Hopes Dashed!
I started watching Kdramas several years ago after my brother mentioned he enjoyed them...and generally I have too, over the 100 or so series I have seen all or part of. About 6 months ago he told me that he had started watching the last part of a final episode first to help determine if he was going to spend 16+ hours on the series. After the last couple of series that I have watched I have arrived at the same point. (Just before Interest of Love I watched Misty and Record of Youth.)As is common for me (and apparently many others), I started to get weary of the premise / storyline after the first 4-8 episodes. In this case it felt like they were just circling back (as explained in one of the episodes) back to the beginning, without much of interest (pun intended) being added after each lap. The slow pace was getting to me so I bumped the playback to 1.5 and made frequent use of the 10 seconds ahead feature. I binged the first 12 episodes over a couple of days before hitting the wall at the end of episode 12. Maybe I was just tired, but I didn't want to watch anymore, excepting part of episode 16 to see how this train wreck ended.
The memories collage in the finale lacked any joy for me as I felt cheated out a positive ending. True, most of the individual scenes were the best of what had transpired along the way and those segments AT THE TIME were satisfying to watch. I kept watching the remaining time display thinking "There is still enough time to salvage a good ending. Come on!" Alas, their last steamy-stares were left to be interpreted. Were they still in love? If so, what a couple of losers. I get that these Kdramas present what many Americans (or at least my Boomer cohort) would consider dysfunctional, immature, sloooooow-developing romantic relationships. Six or more episodes before a confession of liking someone or maybe agreeing to drop the honorifics or hold hands. Then almost immediately into a committed maybe-gonna-get-married relationship. Heck, back in my day we dated for FUN. I have to believe that these Kdramas do not represent real life in South Korea.
Yes, I'm rambling a bit, an early morning rant about yet another waste of my time on a series that COULD have been so much more enjoyable. As it was, one of the highlights was trying to figure out the product placements. (Is Volvo really happy to have their EV shown as needing a longer-than-a-gas-fillup recharge?) From now on I am following in my brother's footsteps and watching the ending first. If I wanted to see tragic relationships I could always just watch French films. (Or maybe just checking the reviews here, as clearly I am not the only to dislike this show's path and ending.)

Waste of time if you like romance
The netflix clip gave the impression that this was a wholesome, boy meets girl drama which is what i signed up for and by episode 8 i realised i made a huge mustake. And after 11 i couldnt take it anymore. When does the person being broken up with ever gets a say!!? In this drama it wasnt done until she said so. It's a slow drag to depression and im not here for it. It was a lame open ending which i hate, after making us wait for so long, make up your mind to make it good or bad, not subpar!Esta resenha foi útil para você?
