I've have been a fan of YayaMark love team since "Kleun Cheewit". I've also watch "Tawan Deard" since I can't get over with their chemistry. Same reason why I've also currently watching "Love at First Night".

I understand why a lot of people said they don't like it. At earlier episodes, I am also hesitant to continue watching it.
But knowing the fact that it was Yaya & Mark, I've watched more episodes, & currently I am at episode 16. I'm glad I made that decision, as more episodes has been released I had fun watching. I had laugh, cried & feel their love and chemistry. All of the characters have their own charm in the film.

To all the people who might probably read this, I hope you can still continue & finish watching this Lakorn. Let's gave Yaya, Mark & all of the casts a chance to prove how good they are in this film. I am hoping this will not be the last film we can see them together on-screen.

Missed Potential and Compelling Performances

I initially had high hopes, thanks to Mark and Yaya, but the show is starting to lose its appeal. Yaya's portrayal as naive and gullible is becoming grating, and the antics of the aunt and female cousin aren't helping matters. The humor feels too exaggerated, relying heavily on physical comedy and over-the-top situations. The comedic scenes feel forced and unnecessary. It feels like a throwback to the '80s, which is surprising for a drama in 2024. Love at First Night falls short compared to KC, lacking the engaging storyline that keeps viewers hooked. However, despite these shortcomings, Mark and Yaya's chemistry stand out.

Hot Chemistry on a Not so Hot of a Mess

Love at first night is the first Thai Lakorn that I watched while it was still airing. My reason for watching is because I like Mark and Yaya in Waves of Life. The toxic fighting of their characters Jee and Sathit made me fall in love with their chemistry.

Love at First Night is subpar drama compared to Waves of Life. It lacks the storyline that would engage watchers. They also have some unnecessary wacky scenes which can be too much. The concept is Romcom but in the earlier part of the series, it leaned towards the comedy part. The fake love triangle (Dad-Apo-Mueang) also made some watchers raise eyebrows on this one. But, despite this, Mark and Yayas's acting were on a different level. They give a very fresh take on Apo and Mueang. Their chemistry still delivers from the screen on to the viewers hearts.

The show started to grow on me on Episode 7. The family problems and dynamics are really resolvable and just became annoying at times. But, once Apo and Mueang started to get closer again, I started to feel invested on this show. I think their love story is the boy fell, girl fell harder-type. On Episode 13, this wacky show just became a ball of fluffy romance. And, it works, Why? Because of the CHEMISTRY.

In the end, this may be underwhelming after the success of Waves of Life. If only this show immediately followed the heavy drama, many people may have appreciated a light drama like this. However, 7 years of waiting for this? I understand why people can be disappointed. I still recommend people to watch this series just to watch the romance scenes. Mark and Yaya really delivers every time. ;)
