season 2 is simply useless and adds absolutely nothing to the main plot
season 2, apparently, was just made to make netflix and the screenwriter/director of this poorly written series even richer.the first episode is promising in starting to explain some things that weren't clear in season 1. it was good to see and give some resolution to gong yoo's character, for example, but what about the rest? what about the police officer's big brother? they waste about 4 episodes in that same nonsense of making people play and die. by the 5th episode i was already tired of watching it because... well, i don't want to see a remake of season 1, i don't want to see finalists in a game that already featured a finalist in the first season, i want to see something different. and they conveniently let this little difference appear in the last episode, giving NO ADDITIONAL EXPLANATION about various plots left along the way of this story. everything was done to trap idi0t viewers like me to give more money to the useless netflix and associates and in about 3 years or 1 decade later they will present a decent explanation for the main reason this game exists.
i can't believe i wasted half an entire day thinking i would see something more interesting, or even minimally interesting. the rehearsal of a revolution in the last episode could have taken a different path, but, no, the screenwriter consciously chooses to tie the story back to the starting point. if so, why does season 2 exist? it doesn't make sense!
and the idiot police officer who doesn't even know how to observe and understand that the boatman is an enemy? did he not suspect that his brother had spared him by shooting him? didn't you think it was too much of a coincidence to have been rescued? what kind of fuck7ng cop is this guy who thinks he's going to be able to solve a shitty game like this if he doesn't know how to put two brain cells together to understand it? you can't have patience with stories like that...
and what's with the boss of all this shit? his wife dies without a transplant and he does all this to arrange and create an underground market for organs? one thing i don't like about SK drama plots is that they exaggerate the actions of villainous characters too much. the guy needs to have a very convincing reason to come up with all this madness. having lost his wife does not seem credible.
the NK girl: she is useless. they created her character to bring some drama behind the scenes of the game, showing that the guys who kill also have some conscience or some criteria when doing what they are doing, lol. at the end, the father of that child with cancer simply dies like a cockroach and we don't know what the point of this parallel story existing within this crappy poorly written sequence. and no, she's still bad even though she doesn't leave her half-alive to have her organs removed. f7ck if she has a daughter in NK and does everything to see her again. killing people is immoral. period.
about photography: same thing
about the soundtrack: same thing
about the plot: it's more of the same, with the exception of episode 1 with gong yoo's character.
it will be easy to watch season 1 and skip straight to the future season 3 when it comes out in a decade.
about the performances in general: most are good, including TOP, who is a relief point in the plot
about this series: it's overrated and the screenwriter lost track of how to resolve what he presented in season 1. the last episode is extremely ridiculous. is it some analogy to the impossibility of beating the system, whatever it may be? maybe, but it seemed more like a war movie plot with so much tiring shooting.
summary: don't waste your time. the show is overrated and the writer and netflix just want you to give them your money. it's an unnecessary continuation that certainly won't be needed when they decide to make season 3. there are better series that respect the viewer's time and intelligence.

if you're one of those people that don't like season 2 with new story then don't watch it
just binge watched it. MUCH BETTER THAN S1! I know the s1 was so very good blah blah blah.. the story in THIS SEASON was much better! yim siwan, the guy from qot and yu ri made it much better the acting was so good when I'm saying I cried I CRIED. the guy who survived season 1 acted quite good but the new actors like the guy from qot outscored him! never expected that from him.i hoped there will be more episodes but it ended in 7 eps what a shame. to conclude this you must watch it because it was soooo good!!Esta resenha foi útil para você?

the hate squid game s2 is getting is LITERALLY UNNECESSARY!
I'm sorry to be saying this but I am PISSED.this season, for me, was PERFECT. like ima be defending this season w my life fr 🙄
I love the cast sm!!! My glorious king im si wan (●♡∀♡) (i hate how he did NOT get enough screen time..) so lets talk about how this season is getting unnecessary hate and complaints.
i heard of how people were unable to form a "bond" w characters like they did in the first season bc there wasn't enough story ?? like bro then tell me why I was absolutely bawling over ha jun. maybe y'all are just .. sigh yk.. forget that this is just a show. The main point lies in the acting which all of the cast NAILED.
I love how there was a variety of characters and we had a little bit of everything. Also Top was a silly goofy guy who added eccentricity to the show.
the acting of all the actors is literally phenomenal
I liked the pacing and story of this as well. Like yk you'd expect the games and plot to be stagnant and like similar but the games are so diff 😭😭? which makes it all the more exciting cuz you rlly dk what to expect when you thought you knew what was gna come!! LIKEEEE TRUST ME, I DIDNT EXPECT TO BE LIKE SO ANXIOUS SINCE ITS BASICALLY US REWATCHING THE GAMES, BUT LIKE TAKE MY WORD FOR IT, MY HEART WAS POUDINGGGG AND I HAD MY HAND ON MY MOUTH FOR LIKE EVERY. OTHER. EPISODE.
it keeps u on edge, truly.
that's it honestly. i don't want to spoil anything.
I hope this gets to as many of you. and y'all give s2 a chance instead of just going for online reviews and thoughts of others.
ofc aagin this is my opinion but I'm ALWAYS defending ts wit my life<3.
enjoy!!!! 7h welll spent!

Talented Actors.. Ample Budget.. All the Time in the World.. Yet a Below Par Unfinished Sequel..
When you create a banger of a first season the audience expects the next one to be equally good if not better.. Unfortunately Squid Game Season 2 completely fails to meet those expectations.. I spent seven hours watching it.. Only for it to end on a cliffhanger.. Now I have to wait several more months just to get a conclusion?? What a waste of time..Honestly all the emotions, the quality of the games and the sheer thrill that made the first part unforgettable were completely missing in season 2.. Why couldn’t they just release everything in this one season?? This money grabbing trend is getting worse.. While I agree that some dramas need to be split into multiple parts to make sense.. Squid Game Season 2 doesnt fall into that category..
Psychopath Gong Yoo was an absolute sight to watch.. If I am not wrong this is his first time playing a psycho and he absolutely nailed it.. His character was fascinating.. I mean this guy when he wasnt recruiting people for a kill or die game in the most bizarre way.. He was casually roaming around, taunting and messing with the homeless.. How much of a psycho is he really?? He deserves a spin off like a prequel or something..
The first 2-3 episodes were pretty boring.. The build up was poor and failed to capture the momentum.. Honestly.. In my opinion Lee Jung Jae’s story should have ended with first Season.. If not he definitely shouldn’t have been in the anchor role again.. He literally fell into the same trap again... How stupid is he?? He also took away the opportunity to explore new characters or stories and there were plenty to explore..
I don’t know what to say about Park Sung Hoon.. He absolutely nailed his role.. And TOP?? His character was so pathetic.. I was expecting nothing less than a horrible death for him and he got what he deserved..
Im Si Wan.. You can always expect a top tier performance from him.. And he definitely delivered.. I really hope he and Jun Hui get a happy ending..
The introduction of Player Number 1 was a huge twist.. Totally unexpected.. I was thinking "Gi Hun and his plans are screwed "..
Why so many talented actors if you dont plan on utilising them??
Squid Game Season 2 really missed the chance to recreate the intensity and impact that made the first season so iconic.. It ended up being a below par season.. Felt more one dimensional.. They should have just made it a 12 ep season and finished the drama.. For me Im Siwan and Park Sung Hoon were the standout performers..
P.s.. Please dont feel compelled to upvote my review.. Someone seems to be having some personal issues.. Possibly another reviewer.. And I dont want to add to the drama.. I post my reviews as a way of sharing / recording my thoughts.. Much like keeping a diary.. Thanks to everyone who took the time to read it..

Money Heist 3 Korea Vibin'
/ It had its jumpstart moments to hype its return and for the mind games that 001 and 456 had played out (very much like Money Heist Korea Seasons 1 and 2 in that sense). But the pump of adrenaline or oomfph was unlikely similar./ Just felt like they could have solidified the rummaging issues of capitalism and oppression of human nature further, though.
/ They guested potential charcters for the buck, I guess.
/ Lastly, fuck capitalism. We'll see how this plays out next year then.

Quit game
im not sure how to describe this, but the best word i can find is "nothing".Story :
so the story basically the mc trying to stop the "game" once and for all, but somehow endedup inside of it. i mean mc knew best that the game wont stop as long as there is a "client" that sponsors the game. so why ? why get in the game ? there are no guarantee that the "client" is on the island. in the end, the game ended up in a riot between players and staffs. why raise the weapon ? he knew the plan busted so bail out with as much people as possible is top priority. like mc doesnt even know what is he doing anymore, nothing changes, history repeated itself.
and the characters is pretty shite, hard to remember. i'll try my best at least with the "main roles":
-Mc : i dont think the mc knew what he is doing.
-The cop : what is he even doing ?. you are a cop, you work with evidence. you got plenty recruiter corpse, mr.kim corpse, soldiers corpse. why is he a cop in the first place if he cant see this ?
-Player no.230 : the joker of the game, special role yet pretty much got nohing, i cant see he barely can act.
-Player no.120 : got decent character, well your typical woke representative. somehow an allrounder that can do everything that makes me think he(she? they?) plays mc, however the biggest hypocrite in the series. playing heroes risking people life just because you want to cut your pp ? what a joke.
-the other players that on the main role list : why are they even considered main role ? some had some backgrounds but too insignificant. its okay for supporting but main role ?, is it becaus of the poster ?.
-Guard girl : decent character, but at wrong series. if i were the writer i would have keep this one as mc for a spin-off story as the guard pov
*special note : the recruiter has no significant story yet damn the actor is good, short but so memorable.
Acting :
the panicking player on the first game acting is awkward, toilet battle is awkward, im pretty sure the night riot is awkward too but the blinking lights saved it. my acting score is purely for the mc and recruiter russian roulette, just for that scene its worth high score. that was freaking good
Music :
that theme song, come on its a sequel know its iconic but atleast it should be rearranged or remixed or anything. and for the first game why flymetothemoon ? i believe there are a lot of old korean song that would fit better, arirang alone for example if it could be rearranged into a deadly vibe song it would be so cool.
and nah doubt will ever rewatch this, or even unless you got somehow fomo about it dont even start. the only factor of rewatching this is how good s3 is, yet even if its good still likely wont rewatch this
overall :
nothing in it, no story development no good character. not a thing just a hype thing. oh just 1 good thing, the picture pretty good they took the shot nicely or at least some of it does. not worth much of a try but well. thumbs up for the promotion team good job really, since this series is popular lets go milk this franchise until its dried out

Squid Game Season Two: A Gripping Continuation of Desperation and Deception
Squid Game Season 2 continues the gripping narrative established in the first season, diving deeper into the psychological and social implications of its deadly games. Picking up two years after Seong Gi-hun’s (Lee Jung-jae) victory, the season explores his transformation from a desperate player to a vengeful seeker of justice against the shadowy figures behind the Games. The character arcs are notably more complex this season. Gi-hun is portrayed as a haunted man, driven by guilt and rage, which adds depth to his motivations. The introduction of new characters, including those who operate outside the Games, enriches the storyline and provides fresh perspectives on the moral dilemmas faced by participants. The performances, particularly by Lee Jung-jae and Lee Byung-hun (as Hwang In-ho), are commendable, showcasing their characters’ emotional turmoil and evolution. The initial episodes focus on Gi-hun’s quest for revenge rather than immediate participation in the Games, which offers a refreshing change of pace. However, some critics argue that these early episodes feel like filler before returning to the familiar structure of deadly competitions. Once Gi-hun re-enters the arena as Player 456 again, the series regains its momentum, blending thrilling action with poignant commentary on wealth disparity and societal issues. While Season 1 was heavily steeped in satire regarding capitalism and class struggles in South Korea, Season 2 shifts towards a more personal narrative centered on vengeance. This change may dilute some of the original’s biting critique but allows for exploration of new themes such as healthcare inequality and moral ambiguity among both players and guards.
Overall, Squid Game Season 2 successfully expands upon its predecessor while introducing new elements that keep viewers engaged. Although it occasionally struggles with pacing and thematic consistency, it ultimately delivers a compelling continuation of Gi-hun’s story that leaves audiences eager for more and also as Season 2 concludes, it sets the stage for an even more intense third season. With unresolved plot lines and character fates hanging in balance, fans are left eager for what lies ahead in this darkly captivating saga.

I wasn't expecting much from this, but i liked it quite a lot! I binge watched all in one day and I liked it.Obviously not as good as the first season but i didn't think it was boring.
It is just sad that we have to wait so much for the final season...
Otherwise, loved the new characters (park sunghoon <333) and overall liked the plot!!

He forgot to read "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu
Well, it's complicated.Let me try to explain. The plot was intricate and creative. The characters are all high calibre. However, I found that having finished the series I was unsure if I really enjoyed it or not.
Good storyline, great cliffhanger at the end, plot twists and boring games. It was a good story, just not quite what I was hoping for.
I really enjoyed Squid Game1 and was very excited to watch the sequel. Unfortunately, I found myself really struggling with this series. The atmosphere and tension that made season 1 so compelling is sadly largely absent here. It was well thoughtfully and very obviously well written out and executed, but for me it was too much slowly. It felt kinda dull for most of the show and didn’t really catch my attention until about 3 episode in.
There are some characters and relationships that I liked, but honestly so much of this just fell so disappointingly flat for me.
I guess that is all a matter of personal taste, though.
I'd really like to rate this season one higher, as it had a lot of interesting stuff I enjoyed in it.

Well it has some flaws but definitely a good watch i liked it a lot.
i really liked the season 2 some lags like how they found the GPS tracker in Gi Hun but they did nothing about drugs thanos had in his cross and could have used better Kang ha neul and Yim si wan but they did an amazing job expecting the same performance in the next season.Gong Yoo wow brillant wanted to see him after the end at the season 1 i mean nothing to say he was brillant amazing the rock paper scissors scene was making me so stressed.
Wi Ha Joon alias Hwang Jun Ho was amazing loved his performance in this season well i would even say he was better than in season 2,also loved Jun Suk Ho who played Choi U Seok he was so funny
Lee Byung Hun was phenomenal how the hell like i never thought he would be the number 001 i mean no one guessed i think but was such a nice twist loved how he came into the game wow and it was funny looking at him killing his minions x).
Park Hee Soon what a surprise to see him i particularly love him after seeing him in My name he is amazing loved him as the officier even thought his role irritated me.
Hwang Dong Hyuk the mastermind behind Squid Game 1 and the superb sequel Squid Game 2 binge watched it easily expecting same for Season 3.
definitely the cliffhanger hurts and make us want to see what happens right now but its ok just 1year i am sure the next season would air the 26/12/25 which would be practical
but really the mid credit scene with the 2 dolls i dont know why it hyped me so much
overall for me 8/10
