Great until the ending
If you were to see this score and then watch the ep, you'd think, "what's wrong with this guy? This show is great!" Well, wait until the last minute. There's a line that is the most tired thing that exists in BL, and they had to go and throw it in.I can honestly recommend not watching this - just watch the excellent first part and use your imagination from there. You will miss almost nothing, as this ep is the same story from Film's perspective, so the only additions are a few insights into what he was thinking in the previous episode. The continuation of the story is only in the last minute, when IMO it's ruined.
I'm actually angry. In a "typical" BL, it would just make me roll my eyes, but here it feels like throwing cargo pants on Michaelangelo's David. The acting and dialogue (with that exception) are excellent, as is the editing, which respects the audience and is efficient from a storytelling perspective. But that stupid line.
It was refreshing to watch a BL that's not crippled by adherence to the seme/uke model - here you could have two guys acting like guys, instead of one of them having to faint whenever touched by sunlight or tripping every time he tries to walk.
But then they had to ruin it. I hope they pair these two in a better project.

Not enough
The first part was so simple. They didn't add boring side stories. It has no weird elements. Their acting looked pretty natural and believable. The second part was so funny. They didn't include scenes like, having conversation with friends or parents for hours to get an idea about love just to fill in the minutes. That's an unusual thing in a BL story. The first part was so romantic compared to this one. Film was trying to play "hard to get" the whole time. But eventually they try to talk it out themselves. When they know what their hearts really want, They don't need anyone to share their thoughts. They feel comfortable around each other. That's why this movie is so simple.
The ending is predictable. but still its very entertaining. The music is so good. It goes well with the scenes. It's a short movie that's the only thing I didn't like. This is better than many full fledged BL series.

Repetitive
This was basically the first part but from the other guys perspective a slightly confusing time line and an added scene at or two at the ending. It is still basically two guys flirting but with more words but dare I say it less good acting but also less slow mo feel to it.I think Film was better as a quiet guy... a shy guy the kind of guy who is mysterious and son on...
So basically after watching the second part I feel like lowering the score of the first part, however I won't and I will probably go watch the behind the scenes too...
But to be honest I have no clue why I am doing this, like at all....

Cute parallel story plus continuation to Once in Memory: Love at First Sight
There seems to be some controversy regarding Film telling Kong that he does not like guys. It's a much-ridiculed line (though I still love SOTUS where I first encountered such a line). But it pays to remember that we don't really know whether to take Film seriously or if he is just saying it to see if Kong would look disappointed. He keeps making these turns in the conversation, so to me, it as though we are really meant to take his word for it.Overall, I still find the first installment a tad better. A lot of the story is repeated from Film's perspective (the previous part is from Kong's point of view), but we still don't really get that much insight into Film. The slight differences in the story may even point unnecessarily towards the idea of an unreliable narrator.
To me what brings the story down isn't Film telling Kong that he doesn't like guys (but Kong is an exception). The story now seems a little jumbled up. It's not a straightforward continuation and has flashbacks covering the same parts of the story as Part 1. Yet, the flashbacks don't seem all that purposeful and in the end, we may not really get Film's hesitation before becoming Kong's boyfriend when he clearly likes Kong all this while. Instead of having parallel flashbacks, perhaps more of Film's thought processes would have worked better.
This sequel is still rather cute and worth watching. But you really do not lose much if you just watch Part 1.
