it was awful. I loved it.
yeah your eyes aren't deceiving you. everything was a 0/10 and I ate every single second up as if I was starving.the story: the writers sat in a room and Jon from accounting said "BDSM Mafia Boss". one person said "what about the storyline?" "don't worry about it" Jon from accounting replied. "the hornies don't care about that." and they really stuck to that because except the lil quarrel they had in the end, nothing really happened. Until Jon from accounting said "you know what. throw in a threesome, but don't build up or follow up on it at any point ok?" and the room said "Sure thing, Jon".
acting: listen I've never seen these actors in any other show and I've read that they are supposed to be good........... BUT WTF WAS KAMOL DOINNNGGG the actor cracked me up. whatever emotion he was supposed to portray, I wouldn't know because of all the botox he apparently got done right before filming. like damn he was hardly able to smile and no way he was able to look angry. his forehead stayed perfectly smooth and gosh I loved it so much...
music: the evil piano music whenever Kamol entered........... It was perfect.
conclusion:
when I watched the first episode, I added this to the "dropped" list real fast. but then episode 2 came and I started to see it as what it is. peak camp. the piano music. whole scenes only for product placements. awkward acting and even more awkward sex scenes with 0 build up. Kamols only characteristic being head over heels for Kim...
everything was awful and it's my favourite show ever.

a real marmite drama
honestly this is such a split reaction to a drama 😂 I totally get why people don't think it's amazing but I think it's getting more hate than it needs mainly because it came out after kinnporsche which was a lot more mature. tbh if you like a typical Thai BL even if it's a bit cheesy then I think you'll like this! I have dropped dramas that are rated higher and honestly I'm quite liking this!! I think it's worth giving it a few episodes as it's kinda addictive. I find myself excited to see what happens every week and I'm very pleasantly surprised by Kamols actor as I thought he wouldn't pull off a mafia type but he acts it well. sure its not perfect by any means but certainly worth a try especially if you can go in not comparing it to kinnporsche.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
It's like a car crash...
... painful to watch but hard to look away. You should watch this show if you like:
- Plot holes
- Questions that get answered by even more questions.
- Dialogue that doesn't make sense.
- A supposedly steamy couple without any chemistry.
- A mafia boss whose entire self is an insult to every mafia person ever.
Sadly enough, there is a lot wrong with this show.
From actors who don't seem very into their role to questionable directing and simply strange editing/use of music. "Unforgotten night" seems to have it all.
They could have done so much more with KamolKim yet every episode is packed with stuff that you might get a whiplash from the quick changing between scenes. Events that should have been cleared up, explained or maybe just talked about get forgotten and in my opinion this doesn't do the plot any justice.
Still I find myself looking forward to the next episode every week. Be it because of interest in the story or just hope that the next episode will be better. And of course it isn't all bad. Don't get me wrong, there are some good things to see as well. I just expected a lot more from this show. If you are going to watch it, I suggest not to take it very seriously. Sit back, relax and enjoy yourself.
EDIT: The last episode was by far the best and made a lot better.
My Wednesday evening will surely be a little more empty after the last episode but I fear that, despite it's title, "Unforgotten Night" will be quickly forgotten.

Cold Guys Falls Hard for Heartbroken Guy
This show will not be for everyone. If you want real BDSM, it isn't here. If you don't like animals in entertainment, wave goodbye. If you hate fake tattoos, see ya later. If you want the 2nd couple to have a story, another pass because one of the partners in the source material is still under 18, and they probably didn't want to deal will the complaining.I have a bias for cold man/normal guy would can be a BAMF, when need be. I find both Yoon and Ton attractive, and like their chemistry together. Both Yoon and Ton have emotional baggage - Kamol was raised as an orphan, and Kim is still in love with his ex from high school. That ex has moved on and has a boyfriend he is in love with, causing Ton extra heartache.
Kamol is from the underworld, and his main enemy is Danai. Unlike most mafia dramas where the lead is the godfather, Kamol has a godfather, Evan, a Russian-Thai gangster who primarily lives in Russia. The are fights and shootouts in this series, but it isn't high budget like Kinn Porsche.
This is a simple BL and I enjoyed it very much. Many people on MDL didn't care for it, but I form my own opinions of the shows that I watch. I did walk in with a bias toward this type of couple, so I think each individual viewer will need to decide if they like it or if they don't.

Where’s the heat? Disastrous Results of an Uninspired Direction
Unforgotten Night premiered while KinnPorsche, the most r-rated BL series ever produced in Thailand, is still airing. With the same setting of a mafia world and based on an ultra-steamy novel, I am sure the producers are aware that it will be compared to the blockbuster but is most likely willing to ride with the achievements of KP. Hoping that the similarities of UN and KP will boost its ratings and popularity. So it boggles my mind, WHERE IS THE HEAT? Heat in the chosen actors, specially Kamol, and definitely heat in the numerous supposedly steamy scenes?! WHY ARE THE ACTORS SO RELUCTANT TO KISS? Were the actors not warned that they will have open-mouthed kisses and heated exchanges? Why get actors not willing to give the requirements of their characters?
Kamol in the novel is a big muscled, ruthless mafia. He is frustrated with his sex-life coz nobody can endure his preference for extreme bdsm . Why get an actor who is baby-faced, with luminous fair skin, and small framed with not a single abs in his body? So many actors will put this lead into shame in terms of sexiness, willingness to do r-rated scenes, and with better acting skills. Kamol is a big disappointment.
Although in fairness to the main leads, I have a feeling both did not have a solid grasp in what was expected of them. The chemistry between the two improved starting ep.5. Ton as Kim is turning out to be charming with his character falling for Kamol but reluctant to give his all. Now I’m curious if these two were given enough preparation or workshops to make them at ease with their roles and bdsm/love scenes. I wonder if they had a sit down with the director to thoroughly thresh out the characters they’re portraying. Coz the leads’ acting were more on external nuances but lacks in-depth understanding, specially Kamol.
A big miss too is the character of Cherry. Why do some BL resort on this cliche of a jealous vicious woman? Really? Fight for a man who would obviously not be sexually attracted to me?! Even the novel does not have a Cherry, so why put a character like her? It’s an insult to my sensitivity as a female.
Overall production is uninspired. Is the director even interested in doing this? The soundtrack is horrible and the editing sophomoric. And the big elephant in the room, have they even thought out the type of BDSM Kamol prefers? For someone who practices INTENSE erotic play, where professional partners give up on Kamol, the sex between the male leads is too vanilla and bordering to comical..…
The saving grace of this series is that Unforgotten Night is willing to show mafia Kamol and his underlings are hardened and ready to kill or cut off body parts when they are being merciful.. This is a positive difference from KinnPorsche, which romantacized it’s characters; Kinn hardly does the dirty work with most of his time dedicated to flirting with Porsche. But most significantly, the UN screenwriters, with the exception of the addition of the Cherry character, stuck to the original popular novel of the same title. The romance between a heartbroken man and his mafia, his unlikely knight in shining armor, is the major reason why this drama has its loyal audience. Kim’s line, “Help me forget his embrace!” is definitely UNFORGOTTEN.

Glorious Disaster
You might notice that I have the story a 3 and the acting a 4, yet an overall score of 7. I have a true story to relate to help explain. In high school, my chemistry teacher was a PE teacher who I'm guessing was filling in for someone who died or something. One day the subject was potassium. He was trying to get a small piece of it to react with water, but dropped a big chunk of it, caught it with his bare hand, realized what he had done, and thew it into the sink, where it exploded, blew a hole in the ceiling, and set off all the fire spinklers, which of course caused a huge amount of damage and forced the evacuation of the entire school. So that's a "1" in "story", a "1" in "acting", but a 10 in ultimate result. This is similar. It's a total catastrophe, but I haven't cackled with laughter like that in a while.
If you're worried about a lot of graphic BDSM, you can stop worrying about that right now. The BDSM is what you would expect a junior high school girl to imagine - a very, very sheltered junior high school girl.
The story is about Kim, a young man who ends up having a one-nighter with a gangster who immediately falls in love with him. The casting is disastrous, with the young and baby-faced Yoon playing the most unconvincing crime lord since... well, ever. In the finale he says he's 36 years old, which made me spit up the food I was eating. He has the most ridiculous tatoo I've ever seen. I think it might have been CGI, or maybe somone spray-painted his back over a stencil of a tiger or something.
Kamol is domineering and horrendously overprotective, locking Kim up in his house and not allowing him to do anything unsupervised. Except play with his pet tiger. You are not misreading that. He's not allowed to pee unaccompanied, but frolic with a tiger, no problem. Not that the tiger is in any state to frolic. The thing is stoned out of its mind - in its head it may be flying through pink clouds with castles atop them inhabited by penguins in Ayutthaya attire, but its body on earth won't be doing much of anything. It does't even react to, or appear to have any awareness of, its head being stroked.
If you are sensitive about water being wasted, you might want to avoid this series, or take a beta blocker first. People take baths wrong. Most people, I think, would fill the tub and then turn the water off - but here, the water is left running throughout the entire bath. I'm not sure where all the water is going - I guess the drain is open. People also turn on the sink for no apparent reason and then have long conversations while the water is running. I'm from California, and I can't sleep if I can hear water intermittently dripping somewhere, so my entire attention was focused on the water and controlling an incipient panic attack during scenes like that. Also, and this seems particularly odd in an Asian drama, people are fine with climbing across beds with shoes on. Not slipper shoes, sandals, even Birkenstocks, but dress shoes they've been walking around in all day.
Managing a criminal empire apparently entails sitting at an implausibly and unncessarily large desk and holding out your hand (without looking) to accept folders from subordinates coming in and out and then glancing at things before signing them. I have a job that entails a lot of paperwork, and I haven't seen an actual physical document in a decade. I don't even have my computer hooked up to a printer. I guess crimelords have never heard of Adobe or Docusign.
The plot is so ridiculous and random that it's better to just go on the ride and stop trying to understand why anyone does anything, because trying to make sense of it will only make you feel sad inside.
People have bodyguards. They should really save their money, because the bodyguard labor pool seems not to have attracted the best and brightest. I don't think there's even one single incidence of successful bodyguarding in the entire series. Besides letting your charge enter a tiger cage alone, guards who have been ordered to defend people with their lives are very easy for villains to convince to go get something out the car, allowing kidnappings right out of your walled mansion.
Speaking of bodyguards, there is a scene I really, really appreciated that gave us some insight at what bodyguards do while off-duty. If you see a scene where guards are discussing who should go shower first, prepare yourself.
The music is awful in the best way. Whenever someone grabs someone's wrist, there's an instrumental flourish more appropriate to someone impaling an opponent with a lightsaber than a gentle wrist grab, and any very slighly elevated moment of drama or activity inevitably leads to the ridiculously overwrought piano theme being fired up.
The leads have no chemistry, and Kim is so withholding that a crimelord Dom is reduced to meekly asking permission to administer a peck on the cheek and is usually admonished for being some sort of demented pervert for even asking. Kamol is the worst dom ever. Strangely, the chief bodyguard, who you will probably not notice at first but by the end will be panting over (especially after his sleeveless striped shirt at the resort) has really intense chemistry with the maid's underage son. Pretty much everyone in the audience was only suffering through this travesty of a series for them, even though we all knew nothing would happen between a 30-something and a high school kid.
I'm not sure I can recommend this - if you're looking for something serious, or are excited at the prospect of actual BDSM in a BL, this will not make you happy. If you appreciate it when something is so bad that it's unintenionally hillarious, this is worth your time.

WHY???????? JUST FREAKING WHY???????
I OFFICIALLY NAME THIS SERIES AS ''the bane of my existence and object of all my regrets *100000''OMG WHY! I cant stop laughing at this series, I mean I know it has a low budget but still nothing is right in this series. firstly the dialogs are terrible. It has BDSM but why they hell is it like this, like I couldn't stop laughing and others are saying "wow this is was soo good" where???? where???? How?? Like I am like WTF did I watch??!!! LOLLLL
ALSO the tattoo was freaking UGLY WHY?? WHY?? WHY would you put a robe on him then see the tattoo melting why lol. {{{{{The tattoo felt like abnormal hair growth on the back}}}}}}. IT WAS UGLY!!
I truly have to say, I have watched many BL'S some not so good but this honestly takes the cake. Could not even get through the first 5 minutes without cracking up at the horrendous editing and pacing. Fast forwarded through most of the episodes. This one is definitely not for me but great if I wanna have a good laugh AND DIE BY CRINGING.
People are comparing this to #vegaspete but honestly even dubbing it as a "poor man's kinnporsche" would be an insult to KP because it's so much worse, BRUH!! There is no comparison.
I saw it cuz i don't leave any BL's i started incomplete, but trust me guys it was so bad.
No chemistry. No expression. Was like a cheap copy of kinnporsche and 50 shades which was done BADLY. I really couldn't handle it.
People need to listen to criticism. Bro even if their was no Kinnporche to compare this series was bad. REALLY BAD.
Actors don't suit the role. They don't have Chemistry. Okay PLOT LINE???? It is good. MAFIA??? Wtf is that. Low BUDGET?? I know but still bad for the budget. BDSM??? what a joke, that felt like a child play [However, it's oh so proper cringe, childish, eroticism.] TATTOO?? Bro don't talk about it that felt more like 'abnormal hair growth on the back' than something sexy. Dialogues??? Cringe af. THE TAP??? Please people save water and forgodsake close the tap their were atleast 3 to 4 bath and tab scene with water flowing and it pissed me off.
Damn i have never laughed or cringed as much as i did watching that. Bruh this is not only bad but HORRIBLE. People can say what ever the hell they wanna say but this was a goddamnit hilarious and badly done circus.
THAT THREESOME HELLOOOOO???? CAUGHT ME OFFGUARD lololol
That literally caught me off guard. When all three bodyguards started getting action, my mind was like wtf AM I WATCHING>> and guys i am not in AWE i am in that type of disbelief that leaves you in shocked to core>> god I CRINGED THROUGH THAT WHOLE SCENE. Like one moment a bodyguard was taking a shower that other came looked at him got Horny they started making out then the third one came saw them got HORNY once again and they are like 'FUCK IT LETS HAVE CRINGY, UNCOMFORTABLE AND AKWARD THREESOME] GOD save me from that trauma. P.S but sadly god did not save me>>
FRRRRR IT WAS WILD!!! And wtf was that out of context 3some???? never got the ANSWER TO THIS QUESTION>
*AND KIM Constantly calling HIS boyfriend 'Mr Kamol', irrespective of the fact you fuck him, live with him and allegedly are in love.
*Bodyguards threesome, hotter than the main leads sex exploits and indeed kissing.
*Khamol pulled Kim into his lap and Kim did that full 360 spin?? What was that?? with the 360 spin I was like, when did this turn into a Cdrama??? XD>>> THREE whole salsa spins.
*KAMOL SPEAKING ENGLISH. RIP English, save journey to heaven. JUST RIP TO YOU ENGLISH, SORRY WE COULDN'T SAVE YOU>>
AND THE FREAKING NAMES-
*THOSE TIGERS LAMOO- they literally named them 'whipped cream'?????? DO YOU REALLY NEED A REASON TO NOT HINK ITS Ridiculous AFTER THIS
I WANT Whipped Cream TO PUT CREAM ON KIM AND EAT HIM>>> would have been the BEST ENDING EVER but sadly it did not happen>>
*THAT CHILD'S name was 'salmon'??? GUYS at least leave the damn fish and child out of this train wreak>>
a FREAKING TIGER named "whipped cream">
NOW,
a CHILD named salmon???????
what next would have been in the series if it was longer???? a dinosaur named 'POOP'???
"Unforgotten Night" and "Check out" were in a competition for the most ridiculous Thai BL of all time. I'm really not sure which one will win. I think check out won with flying colors but UN is not very far for it>>>
And compare it to KP and 50 SHADES?? Bro are people high on cocaine??? There is nothing to compare. NOTHING.
NEVER AGAIN>>> DULLY NOTED
Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me>>
READING THIS COMMENT PEOPLE WILL ATTACK ME BUT DAMN DO IT BECOZ I NEEDED TO VENT OUT THE FUSTRATION I WAS FELLING AFTER WATCHING THIS DRAMA FROM 3 MONTHS.

Definitely worth a Re-watch
I’ve finished watching Episode 12 of “Unforgotten Night” and although I can understand why some of the reviews are waspish to say the least, I also think they show the dangers of attempting comparative reviews of both novel and film. The novel is one thing, and the film series is another, and neither can, or should, be judged by the other.Take the character of Cherry as the outstanding example. She appears in the series, but isn’t even suggested in the novel. And yet in the film series she undergoes considerable character change, which Ging Areeya Pholphutrakul develops very well indeed. Without Cherry, the evil antagonist Danai, excellently played by Beam Sarunyu Prachakrit, would certainly not be as villainous.
The decision to write Cherry into the narrative can only be placed at the door of Ongart Singlumpong, classified as the “Producing Director”. This highly capable and experienced person has an unusually strong gift for cinematic narrative and continuity, which shows itself throughout the production.
Another big contrast between series and novel is the character of Kamol, impressively presented by Yoon Phusanu Wongsavanishakorn. In the novel, Kamol is a stereotypical Mafia leader, tall, hard, with a black beard, enough to send shivers along the spine of any ordinary person, whereas in the series Kamol is shown as a slightly built, baby-faced, rather introverted character, although possessing the organisational and killer qualities of a Mafia boss. As for Kim, very sensitively and intelligently presented by Ton Saran Anantasetthakul, throughout the series he changes from an unhappy and dependent young man to a loving, confident and very capable companion and tiger-lover.
The film series does show the lack of a truly supportive budget, but even so, the story comes through. With the resources provided by a wealthier backing, “Unforgotten Night” could easily have turned out to be an unforgettable series. However, as it exists, it is certainly worth paying attention to and re-watching for a number of excellent strengths and subtle flair.

A malfunctioning brain visualized
I honestly have no words to describe this train wreck of a series, I'm not even bothering with my usual disclaimer which should tell you something about this. This isn't like my usual reviews, I won't be doing any deep analysis on it, I'll just point out what stuck with me as I zoomed my way through each episode:- the concept of good posture is incomprehensible in this show apparently
- this series is brought to you by the pink vitamins drink thingy
- non existent chemistry between the couples
- a threesome with absolutely no context or warning....
- idol like, baby faced, fragile looking mafia boss who's apparently a 36 y/o man in the body of a 20 y/o dude
- a disgraceful portrayal of BDSM
- that one, side, non-cannon ship (y'all know who I'm talking about) having the most chemistry out of all the cannon and non cannon pairings we've seen and didn't see
- the plot said sike and yeeted the f out
- Kamol and Danai's guide to confusion 101 AKA the reason for my misery
- out of nowhere characters
- fight scenes straight out of the 50s
- disconnecting from reality 101
- I want the wasted 8 hours of my life back
- comedy is the main genre here, I'm very disappointed in them for not including it in the tags
And yeah, these are my "notes" on this series, or like someone else described it, car crash of a series. I honestly have no idea what I just wrote because my remaining brain cells were destroyed by the other monstrosity of a bl that shall never be named, but yeah, that's basically it. I'm sorry if my "review" wasn't able to offer any actual opinion or insight on this bl, but I really couldn't bother to write an in depth one. I suggest you check out other people's opinions on this because they're more likely to be helpful than mine, have a good day/night.

inspite of negative comments i like this series
first of all before going to my review , see below youtube link of kimkamol 🤭(like share and subscribe)https://youtu.be/imYSto5Dun0
review:
1.Many people has made fun out of this series but in fact it's such a good series which grabs the audience attention.
2.The story does not entertain any other side characters it's a plus point that we can only focus on MLs
3. (The series budget is not high )this used to be my opinion while starting but after the few episodes there is no need of high budget to make a watch worthy series'
4.this series gives butterflies in every episode where a villian like mafia hero is listening to a normal man who is his lover is worth a watch.

So Bad It's Good!!!
Overall: I don't even know how to rate this series. If you watch it at double speed and think of it as a cheesy soap opera, it is wildly entertaining. However, it is not a serious or realistic bdsm or mafia romance. Aired on Gagaoolala & YouTube (YouTube has some of the (few) steamy scenes shortened/cut))Content Warnings: murders, gore/blood, kidnapping, slaps/beaten up/violence, manipulation, dub con bdsm (in the first instance), non con touching (sleeping), manhandling, maybe under 18 (in the book Baiboon is 15 but they don't say his age in the series)/age gap side relationship
What I Liked
- this has so much nonsense (pirouette lap sits, shots of running water, zero research into bdsm, Kim making the stupidest decisions). I put this stuff as Room For Improvement as well because it's either awesome or terrible depending on how you watch this series. I laughed so hard every episode.
- appreciated the multiple consent check ins in the initial "bdsm" scene
- the bodyguard shower scene was totally random but hot
Room For Improvement
- random long shots of faucets running, shoes on the bed, awful tattoo
- nonsensical actions and dialogue, Kamol couldn't find another partner in a large city??? Why is Kim so appealing? Why refuse to do something and then instantly gives in? A sample line, Kamol says to Kim "don't worry I'm not involved in drugs or human trafficking"
- the other side couples were not well developed
- awful kissing (but apparently that first scene had zero workshops and the two leads had never worked with each other so that's the production's fault)
- not just 1 but three annoying wannabe girlfriend/boyfriend characters
- zero research into bdsm, also wounds that don't match and look like they were drawn on with lipstick
- slow pacing (watched most on double speed)
- didn't like the overhead camera shots in the beginning and there were some really odd transition shots (like the faucet running water)
- English subs on top of the Thai subs when they were speaking Korean was difficult to read
- they should have cut out the bobblehead commercial breaks

Yoonton are perfect
Yoon and ton are very suitable for being Kamol and Kim. They work hard to act and have team spirit.I repeat to watch this drama about 10 times, it is my favourite drama this year! The love scenes are novel and challenging, but they all act prefect! The most impression scene is the tiger scene, they did well and I watched it feel so excited! @@
The director is good and Everything is perfect, the actors , script, background sound effects are perfect, I support the drama and all the actors! Love it!
