Fique Comigo (2023)

Las historias coinciden en la lógica de los hermanastros (aunque son historias diferentes) y están muy bien contadas. Innocent Playmates (o como aparece en algunas partes "Stay with me"), es una adaptación de la exitosa novela "Are you addicted", al igual que la serie del 2016 Addicted Heroin. (un clásico que debes ver). En ambas historias se puede ver la calidad del guión con excelentes actuaciones y ambientación, así como la belleza de cómo se desarrolla la relación, como foco principal. Con personajes que amarás desde el primer día es una serie que, definitivamente, recomiendo ver.

It is the same story, kinda like a remake.

Addicted Heroin is more rough, more savage, and you get the essence of the story but it goes fast as it is only 15 episodes of 20 minutes.

Stay With Me goes more in deep of the character and the story. Stay With Me is longer in time and in episodes. We can also see a it more of the story since it is lenghtier. And personnaly, I think it is more elegant less rough than Addicted Heroin.

If you like drama about a stepbrother love story I would suggest this. Even though the ending annoyed me.

Both are BLs in which the leads are non-blood related brothers (step vs. adopted) who fall in love. One of the MLs has a younger sister who becomes an adopted sister to the other ML.

Cute high school bromantic drama that will get you captivated with the chemistry of the main leads. This is another story of patience and tolerance and true friendship.

Stay with me is a remake of the uncompleted movie Addicted. Even with its restricted love story because of China's censorship, it was able to portray the love and devotion between the two main characters and the lengths in which they would go to, to stay together. Both stories are coming of age and exploration of the self. Each covers the themes of Romance and Friendship The stories explore how romantic feelings evolve from long-standing friendships, highlighting the complexity of emotions and the delicate balance between love and companionship. Along with the theme of Youth and Coming-of-Age. These dramas also delve into the lives of young adults, capturing the essence of their coming-of-age journeys. These films show the difficulties and personal development that happen when you go from being a teenager to becoming an adult, which younger people can relate to.
Plot and Pacing

Both dramas provide a heartfelt and engaging viewing experience, making them a great choice for fans of romantic dramas that emphasize emotional depth and realistic relationship dynamics.

Two boys brought together under one roof with one of them starting off with strong resentment toward the other. Gradually they come to have a strong bond that excludes anyone who tries to come between them. It is a bromance but in many ways a “veiled BL”.

Both have a school setting and the MLs are students. One of the leads begins the drama by bullying/picking on the other but they eventually bond over their traumas/difficult homelives.

Both have the same vibe - found and intermarried family, step-siblings or unofficially adopted siblings who fall for each other, and the trauma and sadness of the kids dealing with difficult and broken families.
