These are both mystery comedies where the ML uses underhanded or secretive methods to root out players in a corrupted system. Both MLs present as materialist and selfish individuals but are revealed to have a caring/loyal heart. Both FLs are blinded by their respective pursuits before having to unite with the ML to solve the mysteries surrounding their murdered loved ones and bring them justice.

Both dramas deal with shamas! From Now On Showtime has real shamans but in Cafe Minamdang the main character, Nam Han Joon, plays a conning shaman. He also partners with a policewoman , Han Jae Hee, and they solve crimes together. I really like both dramas, which both have comedic and serious elements. Cafe Minamdang is one of my favorite dramas and From Now On Showtime is also great to me so I think every fan of this show should check out Cafe Minamdang!

- both ML will do anything to bring justice (in both cases to take down a group of powerful criminals), and don't care if they do it illegally.
- both ML are jokester, while both FL are strong headed.
- ML and FL have the same target, in which someone dearest to them is killed by the same person.
- Café Minamdang opens a shaman cafe, while Lawless Lawyer opens a small lawyer office.
- the 2 dramas have politic relations (in both cases, the criminals are to-be mayor)
- They both have people who are loyal to them and work together to solve the case (Café Minamdang have their family and friends, Lawless Lawyer have a group of gangster)
- Both dramas include fun undercover scenes too.

the same ML playing the role of a criminal investigator... the both characters have some hidden past behind them. you can try this drama too... it's pretty good and we have police FL'S in both the dramas

Acting to be shamans and solve the mystery. In MLL, the female lead helped male lead solve his ex gf's murder mystery. While in Café Minamdag, the male lead teamed up with female lead to solve the murder mystery of FL's brother and other serial murders.

Similar plot with the main characters being involved in a huge mystery surrounding the death of someone close to them, and both the ml's have a tragic past that led them to their current profession. A lot of the comedy gives off the same vibe. Overall, both are great shows.

Many heartwarming scenes mixed with some superb slapstick comedy.
