Doesn't make sense

The way they're writing Shulin and this revenge plot is not good. They should have all three work together for revenge not Shulin going off on one end while Zhang and Lan try to dissuade his revenge plot. Like I want the revenge to happen, innocents be damned tbh! At least, they should have just written that they all decide to make changes to Shulin's original revenge plot so that no or very few innocent people are hurt instead of this crap.Also, Shulin grew up with the Moulin village and Zhang since birth. Shouldn't he be more, idk, caring towards Zhang in the least? I get he's bitter about the hand he was dealt but you'd think he'd at least want to care and protect the last actual 'family' he has in gratitude towards Zhang's mom....Ugh so frustrated.
