The only reason I watched this so quickly is because I skimmed the scenes I didn't care about, and I never felt that invested in the romances to feel stressed out by their struggles... The acting was pretty average, and sometimes the editing was confusing.I was initially interested because this is a second chance romance between the main characters He Feng and Wang Xiao An. There were some legitimate issues that caused their breakup, and they both held regrets in their hearts. However, the chemistry between them just wasn't really there? It took He Feng way too long to see how his actions regarding Feng Yiyi affected Xiao An. Their storyline really focuses more on their pursuit of their individual dreams and others sabotaging them. Towards the end, I didn't feel like things like moving in together and getting married were addressed clearly? Why did we never see Xiao An talk to her parents? The scenes with He Feng's mom seemed meaningless. I was so surprised when the last episode centered around revealing a villain--I honestly thought that would occur sooner and would've preferred a final episode focused on the main characters.
The actress who played Xiao An's best friend Lin Jin Jin was too over the top. I basically skipped most of her scenes. Ye Nan was so cute and sweet. I also really liked He Jing Xiao for bringing some humor into the drama, but I feel like the casting was off. Yu Yi Jie (Jerry Yu) is pretty good at this sort of role, but he just looked too old that it was difficult to match him to his character's storyline.
Anyhow, you could give it a try if you're looking for a mindless, low-investment watch. At least both cases of unrequited love were dealt with pretty well. (One was super mature about it, and the other was annoying but at least eventually acknowledged their true feelings and moved on.)

Script writer meets game designer
I didn't have much expectation going in...Honestly the first couple of ep wasnt so bad but it got worst as it went on. The thing I really liked was the songs! To be the story seems kinda stretched... like female lead is a script writer. Male lead is a game designer. They use to be each other's first love. For some reason they broke up and years later the male lead wants to design a game about skiing. He ask the female lead to cast the story.
First of all the leads have little to none chemistry. Their relationship isn't believable. Also their relationship isnt smooth. Seems to be that the male lead cares more about his own start up company and is kinda stiff in the head when it comes to relationships.
The story's focus isnt on them but on the male lead's company . They introduce the third female lead who is in love with the male lead. Then there is the second female lead who is aka female lead's best friend. The second female lead's character is a celebrity and kinda annoying. She does nothing to add to make the story better. Back to the third female... She is part of the male lead's company and does things to mess with the leads relationship. ( she is jealous of their relationship)
For the leads they are always bickering and getting into fights, seemingly that they dont truly understand each other. I mean i understand each has their own stand point.
In the end, i dont think it worth watching...

Loved the snowboarding scenes
I have finally completed this drama..
.
.
.
Would I watch again? No
Do I regret time spent? No, but I struggled not to fast forward in hopes that it would turn around with the females.
Pros:
Definitely the male’s roles and acting✅
Personally, I would take any of the three main male characters in life.✅
Scenes at the resort ✅ snowboarding ✅
Cons:
Female’s roles didn’t develop and were annoying to me to the end ❌
Script was choppy, which is funny because one of the main characters was a script writer 🙄 ❌

Snoozeville with characters I couldn't warm up to
Don’t waste your time with this drama unless there’s nothing better to watch. It’s wasn’t the worse C-drama, I’ve watched, but it certainly wasn’t the best. It was typical, maybe even worse than typical. Honestly, I dropped it at episode 17 because with each episode, I found myself more and more frustrated with ML/FL. Let’s start off with FL.The only thing good I can say about her is she’s not the typical C-drama heroine – there’s nothing ‘cutesy’ about her. Nor is she a dingbat or a professional woman who dresses like a tart (dangling earrings, thick makeup, stilettos and bright red lipstick). Overall, she’s fairly tough and no-nonsense and comes across as smart and mature (for a C-drama heroine). So, what do I have against her? Number one, she dumps ML in college without apparently telling him why she dumped him…or at least that’s the impression I got since he acted totally clueless. Not cool. Two, why didn't she dump this guy again when the script leaking scandal broke, and he insisted on defending that harpy, Feng Yiyi? I was yelling at the TV through 4-5 episodes for her to tell him flat-out that she was no longer his girlfriend yet she continues to let him behave as though she is. So, she dumps him indiscriminately the first time, but this time around, when he does something far worse, in my opinion (taking the side of the love rival), she won’t tell his ass off and break up with him? And everyone is telling her, she’s being selfish, and she ought to be more understanding towards ML? Balls to that! Anyway, her inconsistencies and chip on her shoulder attitude at times began to annoy me, BUT I still liked her better than ML. If I were her, I would have dump him for good this time and taken up with any man available (the nephew? Laoyun?). Her ski friend, Ye Nan, would have been such a better choice, but the scriptwriter decided to match that poor guy up with the dingbat bestie. Why does Chinese FLs almost always have an annoying bestie?
Now to ML. In the beginning, I liked him (or rather accepted him as ML) and even sympathized with how FL broke up with him, but as the drama progressed, and I saw how wishy-washy/mealy-mouthed his character was, I grew to dislike him and strongly advised FL to dump his butt for good. I suppose the scriptwriter was intending to show us how reasonable, how conciliatory, how sensitive he was, but he came across (to me anyways) as indecisive, weak and not the kind of guy who’s going to ‘have your back’. He refused to take FL’s side against Feng Yiyi and even made excuses for the harpy. I’m sorry – if there’s one thing a girlfriend wants, it’s a boyfriend who’s going to support her. Did he step in and stop Yiyi’s rant at FL in episode 16? No, he just stood there. Only after the woman said her crap and departed, did he offer FL a hug. Not cool. And then his oh-so sensitive rejection of Yiyi’s love – please! Give me the Chinese MLs that are outright rude to the love rival any day to this Marshmallow Man! At least, the rude MLs don’t give their woman any room to doubt his commitment to her and her alone. I think I ended up disliking ML more than any other character, Yiyi included.
The second couple was totally uninteresting (Ye Nan & Jinjin), in my opinion, but this is nothing new. I normally don’t care about the 2nd or 3rd couple in a C-drama because too much time is spent on them, and the SFL is usually a dingbat. Sometimes SML is a dingbat as well.
This drama really got bogged down with a bunch of corporate intrigue/misunderstandings around episode 12-13, and it hadn’t improved much at episode 17 where I finally gave up. MC just got back together, and they're immediately plunged into a bunch of angst so the viewer doesn't get to enjoy any cute moments before the crap starts. I didn’t find these script scandals, investment issues and money shortages, etc. interesting at all, mostly because they went on and on and on. I cared less about Yiyi disappearing from the company and pouting over her unrequited love and even less about her return and ML finally setting her straight about his feelings towards her. Once again, I’m amazed by the sheer audacity of these Chinese love rivals who think that merely doing stuff for ML (usually without him even asking them to) somehow entitles them to his love. I get so tired of the ‘why is she better than me’ line. The conceit of these women is breathtaking.
Well, that’s it. Like I said, I dropped it at episode 17 because ML was annoying the hell out of me and the corporate intrigue just went on and on and on. It completely crowded out any romance between the leads, which might have helped me warm up to ML. The most interesting character in the whole drama was Lai Yaoyun, the actor that took a liking to FL.

Slow burn romance
This is lights drama and very funny too. I am happy that I get to watch this slow burn romance, I don't know I like this kind of story that don't have exaggerated twist which is unrealistic. I like that this is realistic, simple and characters undergo development. I am quite sad that this drama has to end. I wish they could have extended it a little bet of sweet romances. I am rooting for the ML & FL.P.S I wanted this kind of man, soft spoken and a bit clingy. 😅
Definitely recommended !
