Mestre de Mim (2022)

This drama is worth watching for the main character Ning Meng, a smart and quick-witted woman who dreams of becoming an investment director but has been stuck working as Lu Ji Ming's assistant. She finally puts her foot down and pursues her dream, and luckily finds a fantastic mentor in Shi Ying. I loved seeing the ups and down of her pursuit of her dream. She's a relatable and likable character, and Tang Song Yun does a great job. (Plus her outfits were awesome! Fashionable but realistic.)

As for Lu Ji Ming, his character is so overly rude and unpleasant in the beginning that it's took some time to root for the blossoming feelings between him and Ning Meng. Thankfully, this drama is not centered around a romance between them, and he experiences a lot of growth as well. His friend Ceng Yu Hang brings a lot of humor to the drama and made me laugh out loud several times. I'm also so glad they didn't make Xu Si Tian one of those annoying second leads who won't give up on the male lead. Very pleasantly surprised by her character!

Not quite sure I'd rewatch this but I enjoyed it.

Perfect

Everything of the drama was just perfect the only thing which was disappointing me they had no episodes of their togetherness . I really wanted to see their chemistry . First time very different story of boss and his assistance .I understood that the story was about how to chase our dreams ,never give up type attitude ,firm determination .But I think every story is incomplete without love story that's why the drama end with their love story . Main male lead character was tough but hesitate at the time of confessing his feelings , so after accept of his proposal, so how he will takes his love story futher . This I wanted to see but drama was end after his confession of love accepted with the sweet kiss.
I really wants this drama has second season ." After marriage still master of our own "...

Chemistry (loyalty) speaks louder ?

Best c-drama of 2022.
Lin Gengxin and 7 Tan brings out a very natural portrayal of a boss and a secy. Their acting were phenomenal in this drama. They had got a very lovable chemistry even though they express less towards each other. All the other supporting cast were outstanding in their given roles. Ending ost was really soft and melancholic in tune, i really loved it so much?

Romance: 10/10 (you don't see much but you feel it)
Story: 10/10
Rating must be above 8.5 atleast, this seems underrated.
Conclusion : A must watch drama for all drama lovers. Very motivating and lovely. I have no interest in investment or anything like that but this drama really is a gem and it sparkles.

O enredo é focado no mundo empresarial, nas relações familiares e na amizade. Apesar, de inicialmente, parecer muito lento o desenrolar da história, as atuações chamam a atenção. Os personagens tem personalidades bastante distintas e os atores conseguiram enfatizar as diversas nuances de cada um deles. A atriz Tan Song Yun brilha do início ao fim do drama com sua atuação natural e convincente. O romance não é a tônica do drama, mas a construção da relação do casal protagonista é bastante interessante e os atores conseguiram passar a emoção necessária aos personagens em cada fase do drama.
A direção foi equilibrada e não há erros de edição que comprometam o trabalho.
A trilha sonora é agradável e foi muito bem colocada nas cenas.

Ricordati qual'è il tuo sogno e lotta per esso.

Credo fermamente che questo drama sia eccessivamente sottovalutato e penso anche di saperne il perchè: per la maggiore, ci si avvicina a quest'opera pensando sia un romance/office solito ma questo segue uno schema completamente diverso rispetto agli altri. Più che sull'amore, cmq presente, questo drama si focalizza su FL e sul suo perseguire il proprio sogno, anche a costo di continue pressioni e mobbing. Seguiamo la protagonista dall'inizio alla fine, in tutto il suo percorso di crescita e maturità all'intero di un mondo difficile come può essere quello degli investimenti. Cosa che ho amato veramente tanto è che questo fattore non va alle ortiche man mano che il drama avanza per focalizzarsi sulla parte romantica, tutt'altro. Rimane l'unico chiodo fisso di tutto il drama e ho adorato come è stato trattato l'argomento. Ho apprezzato che le storie romantiche siano mature, ma veramente mature, senza momenti pucci pucci simil ragazzini delle superiori (momenti che solitamente amo nei drama) o scleri improvvisi, incidenti strani, e chi più ne ha più ne metta (qualcosa c'è, ma è ben ponderata). Sembra una storia vera. Non si avverte per nulla la finzione.
Io non l'ho mai trovato noioso nonostante la lunghezza perchè ogni singola clip è studiata davvero bene e nonostante i tempi "molli" ci siano non danno fastidio, anzi nell'insieme creano personaggi sempre più tridimensionali.
Davvero davvero consigliato, soprattutto a chi si trova in un momento lavorativo particolarmente duro. Mi ha dato le stesse sensazioni (per quanto riguarda inseguire i propri sogni e battersi per loro) del kdrama Start Up: entrambe è come se mi avessero aiutato in tal senso.

satisfy screenplay writer

I was very much surprised!!! without any romantic scene or intimacy, the story able to tie us , keep following everyday till the last episode.. Each episode well composed . The cast was good enough to make us stick on it.. Showing a strong Female lead inspires. Well done to the screenplay writer. The writing makes us involved which each character .. since FL and ML is my favorite , i knew they will nailed the character., especially Kenny... OMG. he look handsome . Seven Tan , keep on moulding her acting skill in each of her serial. Anyhow, overall in was a good show. Thanks Mr. Director , to gave such a warm drama... Really love it.

Amazing Story of Self Actualisation and Character progression

This drama had my favourite features...a strong FL who believes in herself and is undaunted by adverse circumstances, a ML who is cold and arrogant but changes to total mush later on, supportive parents, sismance in workplace ( not easy to find it) and an ending which makes me happy and well assured that things do turn out for the best. Of course, Kenny Lin and Seven Tan were the stars of the show but the side characters had quite a bit of contribution in increasing the appeal of the drama. i never had even one boring moment with this drama and enjoyed it thoroughly

De romance tiene poco

El drama esta lindo. Me gusto. Te engancha pero debo reconocer que gira mas en torno al trabajo que al romance. Se me hizo llevadero. Esta interesante todo el mundo de las inversiones y demás. De aplicarlo en buenos proyectos y de alguna manera hablan de la responsabilidad social de los mismos. No solo importa el dinero sino la gente en un trabajo.
No esperes besos ni escenas romanticas ni tire y afloje. NI de los principales ni de los secundarios. Me extraño. Se supone que pertenece al genero romántico pero....... nada........... los besos se cuentan con menos de media mano.
Igual por ahora me gustan mas los ch-dramas que lo lakorn. Son historias con buenos principios y si bien pasan dificultades. Siempre la idea es salir adelante !!

Female Lead Saves The CEO

I wanted to watch this drama because both of the leads are in my top 10 actors that I admire. When it first started, I quickly started to love the FL because Tan Song Yun was strong, smart and great charisma. I like how she stay calm when her boss would try to insult her. But I could not understand that her boss is the character that she would end up with. As a women I would never feel love for someone who insult me or belittle me and disrespected me. I can see him giving her orders at work and being tough but not the way he treated her and disrespected her. Maybe I demand more of my boss. Lin Geng Xin, he was spoil and arrogant and just because he was good at his job and was talented, to me he just like belittling people underneath him. The story was good and it even got better as she starts dating and becomes a great investor. Her boyfriend did leave me with suspicion, especially when he became angry. The FL had to save the CEO and his family. That is so good to say. But then came the ending and it left me with a sad look. I already had lost a bet because I said they would kiss by episode 30. The first touch of lips did not count that was not a kiss. I figure that the writer would give them 2 episode to really show romance between them and falling in love but no. 2 cold ducks that kiss and END. No sorry, that was not good for me. The actor performance was great and I like the story line except the end.

You go in expecting a rom-com but leave the show inspired by the female lead in the end.

I only started watching this drama thinking it was a rom-com, but it never turned out to be that.
Although I was a bit disappointed in the beginning since most of the men in show are just a**holes, however each woman in this show was impressive. Their strength to fight for their own right, ability to stand up for fellow women and following their dreams, instead of just following men was what makes this drama a good watch. I have seen the female lead in 'Go Ahead' and I really liked her then, but I completely fell in love with her in this drama wand was rooting for her during the whole whole show.
I will definitely look out for all her dramas in future.

Drama poco romántico centrado en el trabajo.

Creo que el título le viene perfecto a este drama, que sería como Dueño de mi mismo, o de mi misma. Tú eliges.
La historia tiene como protagonista Ning Meng, una mujer que desea convertirse en directora de inversión, o al menos ese era su sueño cuando entró a trabajar para Lu Ji Ming, en su empresa de inversiones, pero desde el comienzo fue asignada para ser su secretaria, y para sorpresa de todos ha durado tres años. Pero cuando comenzó a trabajar de secretaria de Lu Ji le prometieron que en tres años ascendería al departamento de inversiones. Entre tiras y aflojas, amenazas de abandonar su puesto consigue su objetivo, pero no su sueño pues vive en un ambiente laboral muy tóxico. Así que decide abandonar la empresa y empezar de nuevo. Logra un nuevo trabajo, y va poco a poco ascendiendo en la escalera laboral hasta alcanzar su puesto soñado. Y ya está. Aquí está el argumento de la historia.

Lo bueno de esta serie es que se aleja bastante de la típica serie de Cenicienta que tanto gusta a la audiencia china. Se pueden encontrar cientos de series de una joven pobre que enamora al CEO de la empresa, desaparece, le da un hijo -o cinco-, la tratan muy mal... A veces está casada y el marido la engaña... Son auténtica telenovelas pero no muy originales.

Master of my own se aparta de este esquema, pero se aparta tanto que no deja para nada el lado romántico. Personalmente me gustaron los primeros episodios con Lu Ji siendo un auténtico tirano en la oficina -lo que daba lugar a situaciones muy graciosas- aunque la actitud de Ning Meng en algunas ocasiones era demasiado sumisa, al final se hacía respetar. El caso es que después de la separación laboral, cada uno va por un lado, y durante muchos episodios los protagonistas casi no comparten pantalla. Ming está muy ocupada en sus proyectos de inversión, y Lu Ji en ser un gran jefe de inversiones, y en chinchar a la protagonista en cuando la ve. Creo que por eso me ha resultado muy difícil ver la parte amorosa de esta serie, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta de que no hay contacto físico entre ellos en ningún momento, solo en la escena final. No veo a Ning y a Lu Ji como pareja y eso que la transformación de él hacia una persona mucho más amable y abierta es magnífica, pero sigo sin entender muy bien cómo es posible que ambos se enamoren porque actúan más como muy buenos amigos que como amantes, novios o enamorados.

Como serie que refleja la lucha de una mujer para lograr la independencia es buena. Como reflejo de cómo funciona una empresa de inversión es también buena. Como serie romántica es nefasta, así que si esperas ver un amor profundo y demás, vete olvidando.

Debo destacar Lin Geng Xin, que interpreta a Lu Jin Ming, ha hecho un trabajo muy bueno. Además parecer ser un actor que es capaz de decirlo todo con una mirada. En cuanto a la protagonista, Tan Song Yun, me ha gustado, creo que lo ha hecho bien, pero su interpretación no me ha entusiasmo quizá no porque no sea una buena actriz, creo que lo es, es que su personaje actúa de un modo demasiado profesional para provocarme emociones.

¿Recomendada?. Es una buena serie, bien producida, y de calidad, pero como he dicho antes el romance entre los protagonistas es completamente secundario, es más, si lo eliminas, la historia no cambiaría mucho.
