Perfect depiction of sexual abuse... by the main characters.
Sadly, Rain and Prayu's relationship is based on full-on sexual assault. Rain says no, and Prayu keeps going. Rain says no over and over again. Prayu approaches him over and over again. When someone holds something over your head to make you do something, that is force. When Prayu is in the bathroom and he makes Rain say sweet things to him by threatening him with the others finding out, that’s forcing Rain to do something without his consent. Him running his hands up and down Rain’s body until Rain stops fighting? That is 110% assault. If someone says no, it’s no, if someone holds something over your head until you say yes, that’s still not consent = that’s still a no. If someone runs their hands up and down your body until you stop pushing them away, that is still not consent. Imagine this was your brother. If you’re watching your brother get pinned up against the wall by someone to who he owes money, and they run their hands (and pretty much their mouth) up and down his body while your brother pushes them away, saying no over and over again, would you cheer when your brother gives up? And would you like to see the person manipulating your brother start dating him? Your heart would break for him. I’ve seen friends experience this, and one of them currently has an ex-husband in jail for sexual assault and possession of illegal firearms. This story is divided into 2 parts as per my guess first half episodes are concentrated on one couple and 2nd half of another couple, I like this way as it concentrates on both couples without overpowering each other, and screen timing issues won't arise.Phayu is really a good senior who guides his juniors in the right direction, you can see he is guiding his partner to concentrate on both his studies and relationship and also teaches the importance of student duty, I like how he portrayed if necessary you need to give importance to your studies more than your feelings and how he was there in the entire journey supporting him
Rain improved much more after Phayu came into his life, both love each other, and both compromised for each other that's how the relationship works. There is no perfect couple as people say, a couple is happy because they love each other, respect each other, and consider each other whenever anything arises most of all communicate with each other.
It is also not true that few couples understand just by looking at each other NO no one can do that, no one has mind reading capability
This story has a lot to tell, don't be shy on expressing your feelings, not only to your partner, to your parents, your friends etc....

Review for: Payu and Rain arc
Oh my god! Love In The Air: Payu and Rain is the bitch. They ran and pushed forth as one of my favourite bls for this year. I was originally going to wait until Nov to watch this series in a binge way. But one of my friends said that the first main couple's story was done now. So I decided to watch it right away. To be frank, I only started watching this show yesterday and I finished Payu and Rain's plot already, which were episodes 1-7. The reason I put the 9 on the story segment is because I feel like yea there are parts that don't make sense especially in episode 7. If you know, you know ahahah. Anyway, that part didn’t really bother me too much, I kinda skip my way away from what happened. So yes, in a way I kinda did shut off my brain regarding certain part of the plot. I guess the reason why some of the plot holes didn't bother me too much is because of how great the actors are in this series. If I am being honest, if the casts were only giving 'mid' tier or poor acting, I would have probably dropped this series just purely based on the plot. BUT since the casts carried the show and I just want to say how excellent the chemistry is between Payu and Rain.
In terms of their relationship, this might be one of Mame's least toxic unhealthy legal-friendly relationship that she has written. To be honest, I tend to avoid any dramas that she is involved just because of how unhealthy and how uncomfortable I felt in her other dramas I gave a shot. In which, I ultimately dropped. I don't know I just can't tolerate cheating and really pushy behaviours. However, for this one, Mame did a pretty good job in keeping Payu&Rain's relationship healthier.
I am so excited for Sky's arc to unfold so I will be back on Nov-ish... unless I get busy with other things. Anyways, until then soldiers!

I really like it! ...until episode 7
I only watched the first 7 episodes because I was warned off of the rest of the series for some pretty serious reasons. The beginning of this couple's romance was sus as hell on both sides, but I feel they eventually met in the middle in a gay parlay. I will NOT be watching the entirety of this series, so it is complete to me. (which is why the highest I feel I can score is a 7. it would be higher as a consensual red flag romance if these first 7 episodes were standalone.)Esta resenha foi útil para você?

In my opinion this is one of the worst bl I have ever seen...The story is very bad and the acting is not very good, expect when they make love😭
The story and acting made my head boil because I cant stand childish adults who acts like they are lil kids who complains about everything and acts stupid.
I see Rain like one of those adults..
I like the main couple's chemistry if there is even any other couples!
But still I think Rain acts like little child who cant do anything without his lover...
I have seen so much better series so this didn't hit me °3°

Considering it is a MAME story, there are obvious elements that many do not agree with and some parts that you may feel uncomfortable. It is honestly better than most MAME novels. Some may say its harassment and that Payu was too pushy and invading... Some may disagree saying that Rain is equally attracted to Phayu and that Phayu never crossed the line ultimately....he teased the hell out of him though. I believe it should be upto the viewer to decide and that everyone should give this series a try to decide whether they will enjoy it or not. Choosing to go by reviews won't really do justice. I also believe not watching the series will not do justice to the second main couple whose story will not begin until ep 7 or 8. Sky/Prapai story also seems so fun and enjoyable with more emotional depth than Rain/payu story which is more lighthearted and on the fun side.But even when arguments fly one thing is for sure that the cast did a great job portraying their roles and the chemistry between the Boss and Noeul is fire!! Even if there are elements that can spark heated arguments in the first 2 episodes, ep 3 was honestly so soft and sweet.
Watching the episodes felt like time was flying by way too fast. It has got me hooked and is strangely addictive!!

Here Mame Go Again
Whenever a series has the name Mame next to it, i should honestly expect what's going to happen. I've never seen someone be so obsessed with gay people being nonconsensual with each other that every book they write has to contain those scenes constantly. Why does she keep getting adaptations when she's just setting the community back decades?Two episodes in and I can bet the whole series is just Rain saying he doesn't wanna have sex with Payu and Payu forcing him to do it anyway and then boom relationship at the end, its every Mame series that woman has problems. Stop adapting her horrible books!

It was fun to watch, loved bossnoeul part the most
I really liked the first couple chemistry and I feel like it wasn't the best idea to separate the 2 stories, because you'll inevitably compare the 2. And if you really liked the first couple, having them almost completely disappear, it can be hard to stay interested in the second storyline. And even tho the second couple was quite decent, in comparison to the first one it was a bit disappointing. They all did a great job considering they aren't veteran actors, but acting and chemistry wise boosnoeul were largely on top. It's too bad cause at first I really liked this series, even with some scene with really bad production and the problematic part of it ( I admit all my favorites series are a bit problematic, because I like the realistic side of it, love can be problematic and it's a reality for me, no relationship is perfect and flawless) but in the end it was hard to keep my interest up. Amazing series if you are young enough
I usually read the reviews before starting a drama...and so I did for this series and tbh sometimes yall reviwers are a bit too harsh...LIKE NO TRY TO ENJOY AT TIMES RATHER THAN JUST COMPLAINING
If you want something not too intense yet captivating this drama is for you

You'll probably like this series if You are Young enough....by young I mean if you like teenagish stories or wattpad kinda things
HOWEVER ITS A LEGITIMATE 18+ SERIES
you'll see lot of spicy scenes..which were definately not unecessary as some may suggest

I drama tailandesi sono diversi
Bisogna partire da questa premessa: la recitazione è diversa da quella a cui siamo abituati se non abbiamo mai visto un drama thailandese, o ne abbiamo visto pochi.Anche gli attori sono molto diversi da quelli a cui possiamo esserci abituati guardando drama cinesi o coreani. In realtà le persone sembrano molto più vere, perché questi attori hanno un aspetto più umano, meno plastificato e, soprattutto, sembrano essere dotati di un po' di carne sulle ossa, cosa che molto spesso manca nelle loro controparti di altri paesi.
Alla fine si tratta di una questione di gusti, a me personalmente il cambio è garbato abbastanza.
Ho assegnato un voto abbastanza alto alla recitazione non tanto in linea generale, ma in riferimento soprattutto alle scene amorose. Qui ci portiamo decisamente nel territorio del porno soft e bisogna ammettere che questi ragazzi sanno essere molto convincenti. Onore al merito non solo perché riescono a farci percepire sia la lussuria che il sottostante sentimento amoroso, ma soprattutto perché i quattro attori principali sono dei novellini, praticamente alle prime armi. Guardandone le biografie non credevo ai miei occhi.
Purtroppo, usciti dalla camera da letto, le vicende in sé lasciano a volte un po' a desiderare: c'è una lunga serie di scene, spesso terribilmente cliché, che fanno pensare a situazioni viste e riviste forse fin dagli anni settanta, ovviamente traslate in un contesto etero perché all'epoca il BL praticamente non esisteva.
La prima coppia, Pioggia e Tempesta, si muove nella duplice ambientazione di una università di architettura e di un sottobosco di corse clandestine con la moto, tratteggiato in maniera veramente inverosimile e pedestre. Mi ha irritato particolarmente che dicessero che era un luogo dove si poteva scommettere di tutto, perfino il proprio compagno, per poi lasciare cadere la cosa senza sfruttarla. Non che volessi vedere una situazione del genere, ma se fai un'affermazione così forte uno si aspetta che abbia un seguito, altrimenti si può evitare di farla.
Come spesso accade, e non solo in tema BL, ci sono situazioni di dubbio consenso, all'inizio, ma mai eccessive. Il rapporto si evolve poi in un leggerissimo dom/sub, molto, molto vaniglia, dove Tempesta, più adulto e navigato, si assume un po' l'onere di aiutare Pioggia a crescere e ad assumersi le sue responsabilità.
Passata la boa della metà del drama, l'azione si sposta sulla seconda coppia, Vento e Cielo, la cui vicenda è forse dipanata un po' meglio, prendendo le mosse dal doloroso passato di Cielo, che ne ha passate veramente di brutte e ne patisce le conseguenze psicologiche. Anche qui si passa dalla facoltà di architettura all'ambiente delle corse clandestine, ma Vento è anche un dirigente della società di famiglia, quindi un tipo piuttosto ricco, con un passato da playboy che decide di abbandonare quando si invaghisce di Cielo. Conquistarlo sarà dura ma, ovviamente, tutti i santi finiranno in gloria. Anche qui, l'inizio della relazione ha un vago olezzo di dub-con, con contorno di comportamento da stalker da parte di Vento, poco avvezzo a sentirsi rifiutare e veramente intrigato da questo ragazzo così particolare. Piace che, ben presto, il suo comportamento cambierà da predatore a protettore non appena conoscerà Cielo un po' meglio.
Nel frattempo, l'interazione fra Pioggia e Cielo, i due passivi studenti di architettura, regala scenette gustose: Pioggia è un imbranato incapace di "leggere" le situazioni, Cielo è sfacciato e provetto nel botta e risposta, anche col suo ragazzo. E le sue magliette sono una più gustosa dell'altra.
Diciamoci la verità schietta: il drama non è particolarmente meritevole dal punto di vista dell'ambientazione, i luoghi e le situazioni sono appena tratteggiati, molte cose vengono lasciate in sospeso, dichiarate senza essere spiegate, e probabilmente ho aggiunto un mezzo punto alla mia valutazione solo perché è uno dei primi BL thailandesi che guardo e sono ancora titillata dalla novità. Aggiungiamoci che la gestione del suono spesso è carente, non so se anche in originale o solo nella copia che ho visionato io, e a volte parte a palla della musica non si capisce per quale motivo.
Eppure, a voler ben guardare, pur nella solo apparente superficialità della storia, si possono trovare riferimenti validi. La scuola, anche se poco delineata, è un luogo dove, se manchi una scadenza, anche di poco, patisci delle conseguenze. Ci sono azioni o inazioni a cui non puoi rimediare solo chiedendo scusa: devi assumertene la responsabilità. Passato l'inizio delle interazioni fra i ragazzi, in odor di burrasca, le relazioni si sviluppano in maniera reciprocamente molto rispettosa. E così via. E' proprio il caso di dire che, sotto la commedia, c'è un substrato di moralità non indifferente. Certo, volendo affrontare la visione senza preconcetti bigotti.

one of the best bl's I would recommend for a newbie. worth watching. I love the actors. they're just perfect. no one could do better. The couples have made it so good and funny. I'm in love with BossNoeul and FortPeat. the way Peat acts feels like you're really in this plot and it's so real. like whenever Sky cries I feel like I would burst into tears. it feels so real. and the BossNoeul scene where 'Payu smacks 'rain's butt, OMFG, I was rolling on the floor. it's so good. Solo para fans
No llevo mucho tiempo viendo este tipo de serie, es decir, románticas siendo los protatonistas hombres, pero por lo poco que he visto hay como dos tendencias, una de crear una historia muy blanca sin escenas de sexo, más bien ambientada en romance y en sentimientos, y con buenos actores- y otra en en la que hay actores guapísimos que parecen salidos de la guardaría pero que se comportan como adultos, cuyas actitudes interpretativas son cuestionables pero que aceptan interpretar escenas de alto contenido erótico.Esta serie pertenece a la segunda categoría.
La historia, no hay por donde cogerla. La serie está dividida en dos. Los primeros capítulos desarrollan una pareja y los restantes la otra. Es un buen concepto y da cierto equilibrio a la serie pero poco más. La cuestión es que la historia no hay por donde cogerla, está llena de agujeros, parece una red de pescar, pero no me sorprende, porque después de mirar un par de capítulos te das cuenta de que aquí están todos los elementos que hace que las espectadoras se emocionen: actores guapos, escenas sensuales y con diálogos de doble sentido, algo de humor... y según parece ser del gusto de los guionistas, carreras de motos .
Sinceramente es difícil considerar a Boss como un arquitecto de éxito si parece que está aún en el instituto. Con Noeul, la cosa empeora proque parece que aún está en Primaria, muchos de sus comportamientos son muy infantiles y en cierta forma femenizados, lo que no favorece a su personaje, no cuando él no sabe aún como interpretar a un papel de estas características sin caer en el exceso. Fort por su parte es un alto directivo de la empresa familiar, lo cual es muy raro porque tiene una cara de niño que te da ganas de sacudirle los mofletes. En cambio, Peat, que es su interés romántico es supuestamente más joven pero parece mayor. Aquí se aprecia cómo la selección de actores no se basa en el papel que van intrepar sino en su guapura.
No creo que vale la pena analizar todos los elementos que pueden resultar irritantes o más que cuestionables, como la escena donde uno de los protagonistas castiga con azotes en el trasero a su amante porque éste no se ha portado bien. Esto estaba muy bien en las novelas románticas de los años ochenta pero no cuarenta años después. En mi país se considera maltrato y estaría penalizado con cárcel o con una orden de alejamiento.
Con estas premisas ya se puede apreciar cómo es la serie. No creo que se deba despreciarla en su conjunto sino que es un tipo de historia que se basa más en los gustos de los que la van a ver, es sin duda, un buen ejemplo de una serie creada para satisfacer a los fans, y crear videos de alto contenido en Youtuve a la vez que desarrollar una base de seguidoras para los actores noveles.
¿Vale la pena verla? Depende de tus gustos, si quieres algo muy ligero que solo sea fachada, vistosidad pero vacío de contenido pues es una opción buena, pero si buscas una historia de amor con personajes reales, en la cual se desarrollan sus sentimientos poco a poco, y en la que ves como los personajes se van enamorando creando una relación que parece a todas luces real, pues, no, esta no es tu serie.
