Both dramas were gold with leads that care for each other more and were willing to deal with their problems together. Even when they were being crazy, there were no silly misunderstandings but genuine care for each other.

- the male lead is a prince from one nation, the female lead is a princess from another nation
- revolves around the royal princes fighting for the throne, archetypes of each princes are similar
- the politics/court felt very similar in both drama

different genres but definitely similar chemistry between leads. respectful, brave, independent but also dependent on each other.

One of Zhao Lu Si's best performances. Costume drama already aired . Must see in my opinion. Lots of fun. Peace?

well its Zhao Lusi and also her comedy partner Zi Rui who are common and TROTAR shows another character well played by Lusi which will make you fall for her deeper.

Similar due to the mix of the Jianghu and palace concepts. Both are palace dramas with wuxia elements, although Who rules the World is more leaning towards wuxia with palace drama, while Story of Kunning palace is more palace drama with wuxia.


Both also have strong female leads who are very smart.

In both series the main couple are intelligent, strong and good looking. They always try to win against each other and deep down they care a lot for their other half's well being.

Both men hide secrets and are quite cunning.

Both have smart and strong ML and FL. ML is secretly royalty and both are power couples that love and support each other. No annoying love triangles (if I remember correctly). If you liked one, you’ll definitely like the other. Overall very similar dramas!

Who rules the world is a romance drama, meanwhile Blood of Youth is more of a friendship drama, but both have :

-Wuxia as genre
-Great Martial art scenes with good cgi
-Mains in Who Rules The World are both royalty and in Blood Of Youth the main lead Xiao Se is a prince.
-In Who rules the world main leads are both royalty but use different names in the martial arts world, likewise in Blood Of Youth, Xiao Chuhe uses an alias, Xiao Se.
- Very similar feelings with the politics and all.

Naturally they are very different but i think after Who Rules The World, Wulin Heroes is a great drama to watch since it is very easy to watch, fast paced and cute!

Same director. Beautiful xianxia drama. Full of fight scenes magic beings passionate love, hero and anti hero handsome and strong, complex person. Heroic, pretty , complex and passionate female lead.
