Gentleman's Dignity is like the male version of this drama! Same adorable, embarrassing situations.. same lovable characters.. the female lead is even a "hot teacher" in both shows.
Four men in their forties go through love, breakup, success and failure. The story includes the romantic relationship between Kim Do Jin, an architect with a scathing tongue, and strict high school teacher Seo Yi Soo, who moonlights as an umpire at amateur baseball games.
I don't know why I'd recommend these... They have nothing in common. I guess it's just the feeling of the drama that makes them so similar.
Like A Gentleman's Dignity it's a drama not focused just on the main leads. All the other characters are interesting to follow. Both dramas have funny moments.
Ishibashi Taro is 38-years-old, single and works for a big bank. Miyoshi Reiya is 37 years old, divorced and works as a dentist. Iwakura Kazuhiko is 45-years-old, single and works as a lawyer. These three men are close friends and they enjoy their lives as single men, but they begin to think about marriage.
The protagonist in both dramas is an architect in his 40's who has no future plans of marriage but finds the one woman who will change his perception on life.
Male Version of the Show. Unlike AGD, there isn't comedy involved. This story is more dramatic passage of way of overcoming hardships later in life. One is drama and the other is a film. AGD is about guys in late 30's/early 40's and this is about women (29-38). Both involve love, relationships, core group of friends who support one another, and drama.
