The first half-ish of The Bridal Mask had me wanting to rewatch City Hunter. I'm a sucker for badass heroes in disguise, and both of these hit the mark.
Bridal mask is probably the best" jeoson / japan" era dramas.. i just love it, i am not comparing these two drama for they are different in theme but overall here are the similarities i saw:
1- the jeoson / japan era.
2- the freedom seekers and under-covered agents plus the under-covered male / female lead.
3- the bromance <3 (esp Chicago typewriter).
4- the war romance.
5- the old story of the male saving the female (become their first love).
6 - the goal of freeing the country which comes before anything else.
basically the main points u will notice too if u have seen both dramas.
and they are both worth watching although to me bridal mask is on a different level <3 :).

BOTH HAVE A GREAT HIDDEN IDENTITY, and the main characters have both a friend that is an enemy for the second identity. And both are doing actions for a purpose that is relased with what happened in the past. And they (kdramas) are very similar in other details and have funny characters around. GO AND WATCH THIS.
The male main lead are both disguise to save people. Tho, Healer contains more romantic scenes than Bridal Mask, but either are great drama and worth to watch!
They are both similar and this drama is both romance and action with the actor Lee Kang To (Joo Won of Baker King Kim Tak Goo) and Jin Se Yeon. Set in the 1930 in the Japan war. This drama is a must be seen drama!!!! It really is a Drama which is addictive and fascinating!!
both dramas base on popular manhwa and tell about 1930s , it is era when Korea was colonised by Japan.
Both dramas have the same actress. It is set in the 1930s. Something bad happens to the girl in the both second last episodes and its in their wedding day, (I'm not revealing what happens).
Both have sexy male leads, I wanna eat them up...(yummmm)
The 2nd female lead seems bad but she's actually good. Full of drama.
The second make lead is evil.

brides mask looks almost like a remake of infernal lover in fact its the same story, infernal lover is also about a man who is working on the bad side a girl who falls the mixed of all the fighting and chaos.
Despite their time period differences, the male protagonists face similar issues/problems. Both try to seek individuality and avenge their loved ones.
The female characters are also alike in the sense that they're strong and kicka**. They are definitely unconventional characters for women set in those time periods.
Bridal Mask and The Princess's Man consist of cliffhangers at the end of every episode. There is constant suspense in both dramas. The division b/w drama, action, politics, and love are also mixed very well together.

Both are dramas that are heavily build on a guy which is good at martial arts and is fighting for a cause..
A rebel fights the Japanese tyranny during its occupation of Korea.
Main lead must fight against Japanese officers and Korean aristocrats in both shows.

Both stories revolve around heroes who evolved into the roles from being really pathetic jerks in the beginning. The romance is pretty flat in both stories and is replaced by a greater cause than the hero's personal needs.
Both dramas are dealing with the same time period (1930s) in time of Japanese occupation in Korea, and have very similar theme. Secret group fighting for the freedom of it's people, country and love. I highly recommend it :)
the background and tone are completely different. so you may be surprised at my rec.
i don't what it is but i think both dramas share the inrigue and quality that i look for

Both dramas are about people who are trying to survive as well as fighting against the capitalist system. And they have the image of love for the homeland.
