TharnType: A série (2019)

My first favorite.

I don't know how to explain how I went from hating this series on the first episode to being completely in love with everything in this series by the end, but I'll try my best.
The way I screamed when I saw the main couple from this series in Why R U? should indicate how in love I got.

At first I couldn't deal with the offensive names used in the series. But to anyone who wants to watch this, please... watch the second episode... keep watching. Everything is explained and it kinda makes sense. As a social psychology master, I can assure you...... it all makes sense.

This series touches some very important issues like internal homophobia, rape, abduction and toxic and abusive friends. However, I must say it portrayed these issues better than some darker and colder series. For some people this might make this series dramatic, for me it gave all characters depth and a reason to exist, a story to tell. Not just a love story, but a character development story.

All of the cast is unbelievably talented and the story is thought well enough that I couldn't predict any of the plot twists. To understand to the extent of how good the cast is you will have to watch this series but let me just say how sometimes, the characters didn't have to say anything for them to convey their emotions.

And for those who are wondering... it does have that spice that you don't find in many BLs. It might be weird of me to mention this. But like I say to all my friends, just like in a book there are ways and ways to write a kiss or a sex scene and sometimes it feels cringe or weird. In a BL series I feel the same way. It takes two really good actors and a really good script for a really good kiss or sex scene to occur. And this series leaves almost nothing to the imagination.

Tharn Forever has my heart

I am so late but I really only started this because I was curious about the side couple in the next part that’s having a show of their own airing in august but wow This was really a beautiful story usually I’m skeptical and I’ll admit I’m new to BL series but I’ve watched so many I can’t stop myself this series is almost a story about how I’ve dreamt of finding my man Tharn/Mew blew me away his performance was absolutely amazing he’s quite literally the man of my dreams DID YOU SEE THIS MAN SMILE ? I did skip through some side stories only because I was really interested in Tharn & Types story arc Types character development was really interesting it was a little dark but I know that was all part of the story telling!

The tharntype story

tharntype season 1 I read the plot of the story very well so I watched it from the beginning to the end of the episode very well the drama production I also watched a lot of bl drama but in tharntype season 2 7 years here I just watched that the same man was actually married in their deep love so I ended the season it was so wonderful to be able to show it and other people to watch it and get to know the LGBT group well so I'm so glad I watched it I can insert even though I'm busy studying and work I'm grateful to develop tharntype production i salute the artists who performed and the production team that made it thank you.

Good Gay Series

5/10

Negative:

1. That Assh. of Lead Singer that destroy Love relationships.
2. Some Lovescenes are a bit too short.
3. Sadly its not showing that the Maincouple had sex (Not even a little - of course, the intimate places must remain hidden) it would have been even more interesting.
4. Unfortunately there were too few kisses from the Maincouple.


Positive:

1. Love the Maincouple:)
2. Acting is Excellent.
3. Story
4. The Movie implementation is good.
5. Some scenes was funny.
6. Some of the Lovescenes were really sexy. Better than in > Bed Friends - for Sure!!
7. The Kissing of the Maincouple was sweet and with a bit of passion.
8. Most episodes were really exciting.

Only into 3 episodes of the series and I’m seriously addicted to the drama already. The cast are amazing and have astounding acting. The only thing I would like to complain is that it’s only 1 episode each week. So it feels like a lifetime waiting for the next episode. It’s suggested that it has 12 episodes but what happened to their competing drama “The Effect” it was suggested that it had 15 but because of the sensitive plot, they changed it to only 3 episodes but from other fans it was suppose to be only 3 episodes to start with, so with TharnType The Series, I don’t know if the producers or
Directors will change the episode numbers as we have touched on Type background on how he has been bullied in the past. Hopefully in the next few episodes we will get a taste on Type’s sadness.

Horrible horrible story..... just sexual assault after sexual assault

wtffffff ??? I don't understand how the writers could even think they did a show blaming homophobia. How can you fight the stereotype that gay men are sexual predators by having a main character who is a fucking rapist and presenting that without any criticism whatsoever ??? Nothing that he does is ok. People being homophobic is not an excuse to rape them. It's even more heartbrecking to watch in regard of the history of rape of the other guy.
I dropped it because it seemed highly toxic on so many levels. As a queer person and a victim on rape this was really hard to watch and very upsetting.

Only good point : the acting was good.

Assolutamente da vedere. Recensione lunga ma divertente e utile

The series is really beautiful, I've seen and reviewed it many times. Speaking of the plot as a whole, to be set in the usual university it doesn't bother the viewer at all, the university is just one of the main places in the series, we see them not only there in fact, they are often at the coffin, often go out or are at the football field or in the studio playing.
The characters are certainly the most beautiful thing and in addition they are all played very well, especially the two protagonists, who have a spicy and overwhelming chemistry (counting that it is a slightly old bl, it is really a lot of stuff for the time and still today not has nothing to envy to new couples).
I don't want to bore you too much with the descriptions of the characters, because they have to be discovered gradually, I'm just saying that there is something for all tastes: Tecno is Type's best friend and sidekick and is the comic subplot, he is literally afraid of his best friend, I miss when my mother says to me "Come I'll do nothing" with a slipper in hand. Tharn has the Big Daddy look bestowed on him by the veins on his arms and hands, but in reality he's a puppy, a huge green flag, sure to be a character you'll love right away. Well, if you love Tharn right away, Type... no. Let me explain, ever heard of 'sassy bottom'? Ecco Type is the emblem, the king of sassy bottom. You know Sky and Rain (by Lita), Pran (by Bad buddy), Porsche (by Kinnporsche) FORGET THEM, he is much worse, if the sassy bottoms I just mentioned are a bit of a bitch with the boy who hits on them , but then they become sweeter (more or less) when they realize they're in love with him, Type no, he's a certified asshole, he's an asshole from start to finish, with everyone. HAHAHAHAHA. Don't get me wrong, Type is my favorite character, also because his pride and bullshit will sometimes lead him to do stupid things that make me laugh a lot. But he also has a deep side, in fact we will discover that as a child he had a trauma caused by God a man, the character behaves in a raw and true way of someone who faces the trauma with anger.
Overall the series is definitely worth seeing.
VERY IMPORTANT
I wanted to say one thing, always read the reviews and not just the vote because this series has been hated for something (which I'll explain now) that has made many people rage against it, who maybe have never even seen it ., so in the review it is seen with they don't know what they are talking about, but they talk badly about it.
Basically what happens, lately many people have started to hate this series, Why? Well, there is a scene in which after a rather heavy argument (in one of the first episodes in which Type and tharn will fight because Type doesn't want to stay in the room with a gay) while Type is sleeping Tharn approaches and talks to him, however the important part is when, he starts to unbutton his shirt and kiss him and says something like "I wonder what you'll look like when you wake up and realize you've spent the night with me", the scene lasts a few seconds and then switches to the morning next one. Type has a hickey on his neck and panics and Tharn makes fun of him. So many people hate him because they think Tharn raped him, but that is NOT true, Tharn is already in love with Type and he would never have done that, he just gave him the hickey to scare him, that's why he takes it in the morning around, because it's not true that they spent the night together, he just wants to make them think.

Unfortunately many people have not understood this and for this reason they hate it (Obviously the hickey without consent is also wrong, but much less serious). Which then among other things in Kinnporsche Kinn VIOLENTS and here is the whole Porsche scene, but it doesn't seem to me that people are fierce with this series, justifying Kinn by saying that he is a mafioso, as if being mafia justifies the fact that you're a rapist, bah, I'm Italian and I assure you that mafiosi don't like rapists either, not at all. I have nothing against Kinnporsche I loved the series, I'm just sorry to hear that many people hold so much hate for a series that I love.

No desperdicien su tiempo con esta serie.

Preferiría beber veneno de ratas antes que volver a ver 5 minutos de esta serie. Malísima y extremadamente sobrevalorada.

Guión aburridísimo, diálogos redundantes y lentos, mala producción y ejecución, actores estáticos con muy pocas cualidades y recursos actorales. Realmente solo se recitan las líneas a la cara haciendo gestos exagerados y tampoco es que el guión o las cámaras dieran cabida a hacerlo un poco más dinámico. En fin, un tostón.

Mientras lo veía pensaba en si la fama de la serie se podía basar en posibles escenas subidas de tono o algún tipo de fan service, pero nada que ver. Soy incapaz de explicarme su renombre.


Aparenta ser una amable y dulce historia romántica para adolescentes por el ambiente escolar, el elenco y la música del OST (aunque la letra ya da pistas). Sin embargo, la escritora aprovecha estos inocentes elementos juveniles para romantificar, normalizar y naturalizar el abuso sexual, la manipulación, los celos patológicos, la pedofília, el incesto, homofobia, misogínia... Es un continuo sin descanso en toda la historia.

Y es que la construcción de la relación de la pareja se basa en superar estos "obstáculos diarios típicos que atraviesa cualquier pareja y persona" sin despeinarse. Todo vale con tal de mantenerles juntos por "amor".

(Amor que ni se huele porque Type inunda todo de odio, incluído a Tharn. Solo a veces parece ser capaz de medio soportarle y dedicarle algún gesto cariñoso de la nada, para volver inmediatamente a amenazarle e insultarle como acostumbra).

Personajes absurdos, planos y monotema, no muestan más de una o dos emociones en toda la serie. Tampoco se entienden sus razonamientos para la toma de decisiones. Actúan de forma aleatoria, fuera de personaje y momento total.

De verdad, Type es ridículamente repelente e irritante. Inverosímil que tenga amigos o que pueda atraer románticamente a nadie, ni siquiera a los espectadores y mucho menos a otro hombre gay.


En fin, un despropósito de serie en todas sus áreas y facetas, tanto técnicas como morales.

Después de verla, sigo sin entender por qué los fans la aclaman tanto, pero de verdad que no hay nada que merezca la pena ver aquí.

It Could've Been Better

This series obviously could've been written better, like Type not being a complete asshole. Yes. he was sexually assaulted, but that doesn't mean his character had to be a homophobic douche. He could've been written to be scared of men or something like that. Another thing, why'd there have to be sexual assault throughout the whole entire show? Sexual assaulting someone does NOT make them open up more to a person, instead it makes them scared of the other person. I wish this show was better, but I cannot finish watching it, as the choice of Tharn sexually assaulting Type for no apparent reason was obviously added because they couldn't think of anything else to make the characters closer. This series could've been so much better, but the sexual assault and Type's asshole personality ruined the show for me. (I do not hate the actors!)
