God's Quiz: Reboot (2018)

First off, I really enjoyed this 5th season or reboot of the show. I didn't realise the show got another season and season 4 was getting kinda...well, strange...so I had stopped watching but I really wanted to give the show another chance and OCN really showed what it can do.

The cast has changed, again, from the previous seasons, except for a few leading characters. I love that the leading characters returned, it would be heart breaking if not, but luckily we get Doctor Han, Detective Kang and also Doctor Jo back. We also get a bunch of new characters but this time around, compared to season 4, you notice that they are more experienced actors and older because they fit the show a lot better than the new actors in the previous season. The new characters fit quite well and make the show even better. But also the villains showed amazing acting.
The storyline itself is more to earth than the previous season but still gives you a little mysterious and over-top like what you are used to from season 1 and 2. I loved that we also get some background to some characters as well as get to explore the dynamics between Han Jin Woo and Kang Kyung Hee more. Just get married already!
Also I'm definitely gonna rewatch. Not today and not tomorrow but I find myself always returning to God's quiz.

If you have watched the previous seasons I highly recommend this one too. If you have not watched it...well, maybe at least watch season 1 and another season just to get you a little bit up to date. This show proves that following seasons/installments are not always worse than the previous ones.

Une suite à la hauteur des précédentes

Alors que dire sur cette saison 5 de "God's Quiz" ? J'avais apprécié les autres saisons de part le côté humain que montre ce drama. (surtout la première et deuxième pour lesquels je me souviens avoir beaucoup pleuré x'D, tandis que j'avais eu un peu plus de mal avec la quatrième...) Il nous permet de découvrir des maladies que l'on ne connait probablement pas et de voir le comportement "humain" autour de celles-ci.

Tout comme pour les autres saisons, j'ai apprécié le casting qui est toujours aussi bon. J'avoue avoir beaucoup aimé la prestation de "Kim Jae-Won". J'ai ressenti beaucoup de peine pour son personnage malgré que je m'attendais à le détester suite aux premiers épisodes x'D.

En ce qui concerne l'histoire, comme à chaque fois dans ce drama, elle est "humainement dégueulasse" et nous montre la cruauté de l'être humain pour des profits personnels (souvent liés à l'argent ou au statut social). Il est vrai qu'en regardant ce genre de drama, parfois il m'arrive de douté de l'humanité de l'être humain...

En somme, si vous avez aimé les autres saisons de ce drama, il est peu probable que vous ne l'aimiez pas.
