Fan Xian returns home giving the appearance of being all knocked out from Alkohol but with some tricks he manages to come to his senses and continues his plan of infiltrating the inner palace. Things seem to go very smoothly at first, the great master by the empress dowagers side is lured away with the help of uncle Zhu and Fan Xian’s tactical movements help him to get the key from empress dowagers room unnoticed by the archer Yan Xiao Yi who happens to be patrolling that night too. But things go out of plan when Fan Xian goes back to place the counterfeit key and diverts his way because of his curiosity of a mysterious man whom he witnesses secretly visiting the Princess Royal. Whilst eavesdropping Princess Royals conversation he gets noticed by her maid and soon after by the great archer Xiao Yi who starts to hunt Fan Xian down.
