This is a short and sweet romantic drama. After watching it, I’m also craving for a dramatic love affair like this, be it a short one. The love and longing for one another is so beautiful and amazing. For me, this is enough to live for and to have meaning in life.

This drama is simple without too many twists and turns. It’s heart warming to see things one does for one another, the friendship, love and care.

All the actors and actresses in this drama are so amazingly beautiful, even the antagonists. Their acting is good too. Their fashion is top notch, everyone looks so good every day, every minute, even in bed.

I really love Xu Lu who plays Wen Su Xi who is so beautiful and bossy but honorable and kind. I also love Chi Yu played by Zhang Ming En, so good looking and adorable, funny and romantic. I wish in real life, there really exists such a man! With him, one can feel safe and loved.

I love the sound tracks, so beautiful, meaningful, poetic and romantic.

The ending is kind of, open ended. So you’d need to watch it to find out and it’s all up to your imagination and interpretation of how it ends.

The drama shows the life span of years 3000 ,it means story about revolve between the lead characters of previous life and present life , the story is talk too much about energies ,I am not getting what is the energy actually means ,energy related to life or the fate or the destiny .... And how change of ones fate affect other people energies ...Only I understand about drama that the male lead did some mistake in female lead previous life and he come back in her present life to make it up and during this period his love towards her get stronger and stronger .. I didn't understand the ending ...Atleast they shows happy ending so it balance the rest part of the drama and secondly how easily villains of the drama disappear one by one ...Not show much scenes of them ...Just to shows her's three disaster of life so villain become part of her disaster and with the saving of her life from each disaster ,villain eventually disappear from the story ...Anyways
What I like most in the drama is male lead acting so emotional so touch ,his expressions are so intense that anybody heart can melt and fall for him ...His expressions are so perfect according each scene.... Too good.
One more thing I like about drama that in some episodes they add some funny scene so the drama not getting bored.

Pay Attention to Clues!

Please know this contains possible spoilers, but a lot of reviews are just wrong! I've never done a review, but in my opinion, many reviews are so misleading, so I had to post this! It's true that the storyline is a bit confusing, but I think some of the comments about the ending are just wrong! Someone even mentioned Suxi may have been happier with Tang Mao??!!!! The psychopath murderer??!! WHAT?! That is so off the mark, I wonder if they saw the same drama!!! It's a great (albeit confusing at times) eternal romance which ends well if you follow the clues!!!!

He shows Suxi her future twice (did it really change?). He gives up the chance to ever return to the heavens; he becomes bound to earth. He is willing to become human (how would he otherwise walk through the door to save her??!!) He ate chocolate!!! One of the most important things......look at his SHOES!! He repeatedly wears the same black shoes in the last episodes!!! The "Wand" (forgot what it's called) glows in the water!! It's Christmas on the beach where they planned to go!! The little child/son is the same child in both shown futures! He, with her and someone else with her have the same identical son??
Does Chi Yu look different?? Maybe. She looked different 3,000 years earlier. Does he still have powers? No one knows. However, be aware there are more clues to this ending in the drama.
I didn't give it a higher rating on "Story" because it was so confusing at times to understand everything. Otherwise, it's worth watching Zhang Ming En for sure! Great romance. Hope this helps dispel some of the totally bad ending rumors.

OMG!, I really love this drama, although it's not my favorite, I really, really enjoyed it. I just wish there was more lovey-dovey moments between the two min leads!!!! I've been hoping for more, but yeah...Also, the acting of the leads and the other characters are really not bad, especially the main leads, they are really good, better than most actors/actresses of other dramas. Hence, why I am really looking forward to season 2!!!

Ok, so some of yall, might actually not watch this drama, cuz it doesn't really have a good ending as some of the other reviewers had said... or if u don't know that, there you go... lol... But I believe, that it's a good ending as it is very open, it allows the audience to use their brains for once. It also not a bad ending, because there is a season 2, which means (spoiler alert) the guy(main lead) hasn't died yet and will be coming back!!! OMG, I REALLY HOPE THAT THERE'S GONNA BE MORE LOVEY-DOVEY MOMENTS!!!!!!

ALSO, I REALLY, REALLY, SHIP THE MAIN LEADS!!!!! AND GUESS WHAT, THEY ARE A COUPLE IN REAL LIFE, THIS EXPLAINS WHY THEIR CHEMISTRY IN THE DRAMA IS SO DAMN GUD!!!!!

Interesting and Fun to watch

This drama is definitely interesting. The story is unique and has a lot to offer to the viewers. Characters are also incredible and the actors and actresses are awesome! I am very satisfied with their casting.
The progress of the story is a little slow at first and the viewers would already know the purpose or target of the Male Lead in the very beginning of the drama. When it comes to romance of the Leads, the drama showed minimal romance but still kept the sweetness of the two whenever the leads are shown. The supporting characters have their own share of scenes also, and because of them the drama has it's comedic side too.
I wouldn't say that this is a light drama, it's to be honest a heavy melodrama. Most of the conflicts comes from the external characters.
I would've given it a much higher rating if it weren't for the ending. The ending did not justify what happened the previews scenes and left the ending a question mark.

Destino complicado

Procurei esse drama por causa do ator Zhang Meng e por causa do mesmo terminei de assistir uma atuação que poderia ter sido mais proveitosa com todo o talento e versatilidade que tem. Em primeiro minha crítica vai para a história, muito embolada no meio que parece que foi improvisada para completar os capítulos. Quase perdeu o rumo no fim. Entre o fim se feliz ou triste respeito o seguimento da trama sem recentimentos, mas o que não ficou claro foi o desserviço da protagonista que já vi outros dramas e sei que atua bem, mas nesse apagaram todo o brilho do personagem e da profissional que representa colocando a mulher como coitada, burra, sem noção e completamente sem atitude. As mulheres da trama estão num papel de inferiores, isso me desagradou. O que segura a maioria a assistir e o protagonista e algumas cenas de partes de seu corpo...como profissional não precisaria disto...mas vai se entender o diretor . Poderia ser melhor.

●A man from historic era is in the present to correct one of his mistakes. Interesting plot yes I thought so too, but I was really isappointed with the slow pacing of the story and had watched in 2x speed (its the first time I watched a drama in 2x)
The three ML are hovering around the FL. She will only fall for ML yay thats a given. One who is childhood friend will remain heartbroken, am sure if this would have been a korean drama, they would have picked a really handsome actor and gave a second lead syndrome with him, well cdrama doesn’t really go in that zone. The third ML turns out to be an baddie, but my question why is he obssesed with FL?
Chi Yu when we saw him in first episode it was great, trying to figure out whats going in the present world and ofcourse he is a deity so adjusts very quickly. If it would have been given more significance this drama would have more comic elements.

●Everyone acting was marvellous.
Ming en as Chi yu was fab as in the intial episodes. His awkwardness and charm as ancient person was so good on screen. But as plot became heavy, the character lost its charm. in fight scenes I really didn’t like him, It seemed so digital.
Xu lu as Wen su xi was confident, smart and spirited lady. I just loved her character. She played is so well and natural.
Ren yan kai as Tang mao, the baddie. His facial expressions were apt and he really looked like a villain

●I was disappointed with the ending, as many of the other viewers. I wish if it had a clean ending, I mean come on you are making 36 episode drama you could have focused more on main leads rather than the secondary couples and given a clear ending to leads. Infact the secondary couple story was also very tiny. Either separate them or let them be together. But that open ending is really unconvincing but then its upto viewers imagination.

●music was good, and thanks to translators is so meaningful and poetic.

●Many c-drama which I have seen start off with a buzz but ends up as big disappointment, this drama in one of them.

I thought this drama will be another cringey and cliche drama because most of the Chinese drama that I've watched are like that. But surprisingly, it's not. Though it's a little bit messy at the start because the male lead just suddenly enters the scene out of nowhere that's why I got a little bit confuse on what's happening.

As episodes goes by, I found it entertaining, funny, and cute at the same time. I won't lie, the 2 couples here have a really great chemistry, they might act too much lovey-dovey sometimes that just makes me wanna puke on how sweet they are, but I can't deny that they look good together.

Overall I'll give this drama a 7.5/10. The acting, characters, scenes, and couples are amazing. Even the music/OST of this drama. Though I can't blame you either if you find this drama boring too because there's no really 'spicy' about this drama. But I think his would pass to be recommended to someone.

Dramma bello un po' lento con un finale non degno!

Peccato perché il dramma nonostante sia un po' lento inizialmente poi ti prende e diventa persino bello però tutto rovinato da un finale assurdo. Dopo così tante puntate mi aspettavo che vincesse l'amore e speravo in un vissero felici e contenti perché se lo meritavano.
Un bel dramma fantasy con una bella storia,un amore destinato nato piano piano ma forte e dolce.Protagonisti bravi e una buona chimica.Un alternanza di momenti esilaranti e tragici che ti tengono attaccato ad andare avanti il tutto poteva essere fantastico con un finale giusto.
Consiglio la visione ma se amate gli happy ending lasciate stare.
