South Korea can also create superheroes
I remember finding out this show would come out sometime in 2023. I was looking through the shows Kim Sung Kyun was starring in after watching the drama called "Grid". At that time I didn't really look into what it was about or anything. The reason I even started watching this drama was because of a few videos on YouTube that showed some clips. So when I started watching it, I didn't know what it was going to be about. The drama starts with the story surrounding Bong Seok and Hee Soo. It then shows how it is living with their superpowers in their daily lives. I think the drama gave us a good mix of their superpowers and their story about that, but also a romance that makes your heart flutter. Around halfway through the series it gradually goes over to the parents backstories. I think it was nice to get to know each character better and how they met and how they got to know each other. All leading up to the final battle where all of them are gathered.
What makes me not giving this drama a 10/10 is the fact that I felt like it might have been too much about their parents and their backstories, when I actually wanted to see more of Bong Seok and Hee Soo. But it actually all makes more sense to give the viewers a good explanation of how these people got to know each other and what led up to them getting tangled together. A well executed and thrilling series from Disney, I'm looking forward to the next season.

'Fast, witty and emotional', with VFX analogues to western movies!
Review frequently updated: EP1-7The first few episodes guide us through the fictional world where the government has been involved in recruiting (might even creating, not revealed yet) superhumans as agents. From what we know the agents are retired and the story is now revolving around their kids. We see how their abilities have affected their lives and how their parents (former agents) are trying to protect them. The family and friends relationships are laid out pretty well initially. We are also introduced to what I can assume will be the main plot line, that the governments of different nations are trying to kill the former agents of South Korea. Why and how is not something we discover yet. From my understanding, the powers seem to be inherited genetically and the kids can have abilities of both parents, like our main lead Kim Bong Seok and the killer, a CIA operative (a native Korean who was sold as a child) has been tasked to take out all the former agents and their kids. The story is interesting and I cannot wait to see where it is taken from here.
Till now the storyline is fascinating and I enjoyed how the first few episodes were used to introduce us to the world and the characters. The series involves a lot of characters and their background stories which could have become messy and tedious if I had not binged watched it.
PS: If you are wondering, the VFx are amazing! Top quality! Very comparable to American shows!

CASTING
Han Hye Joo has a mother of a teenager is hard to believe, because she can still play student(happiness)she look lot younger then her real age.....
After watching until EP9
no flaw at all, ever character is treated well and properly developing
After 13th episode...
Doing great with all stories, properly give Importance to every main character and there stories.
but after 7th episode we are in total blackout from present day story could have shown past lives and current side by side in every episode,
but they total focused on Past from ep 8 to 13 like they forget present
hope to see present day story from 14th episode now ...
after watching ep 15
7-14 past this was long and boring because we already know where all this character are so it was not exciting to see past for 7 hour in a 20 hour show it was 1/3 of whole show,
Now after 15 ep there is no story in this other then two school kids liking each other because of there youth and curiosity for opposite gender
this drama is good and i like it but there is no main story, Only thing that make this drama liked by many was starting of the show with kim bong seok and huisoo
this two character, there chemistry and genuine care for each other is what make people like it,
(The First Love)
showing past wasn't that wrong but 2 episode per character was two much
kim doo shik character only appeared in two episode of the drama and few scene in other episode with little screen time , but he was mentioned among Main lead actors. because he is Zo In Sung, he is supporting cast if you compare screen time with Ryu Seung Ryong or Han Hyo Joo
or it might be MDL mistake that they show Go Youn Jung , Lee Jung Ha and Kim Do Hoon at last of main lead list i mean they should be shown on top not bottom
I try to put main lead on top of list and Zo In Sung in supporting cast, hope it work

Leave them alone! They just want to live a normal life! (+ Blood, Gore, Violence)
I never thought “Moving” would take the top spot of the most violent Asian dramas I’ve watched, beating “Bulgasal” and “Arthdal Chronicles”. I thought this drama would be about superpowers, kind of like the Thai drama “The Gifted”. Little did I know this was way more than I bargained for.I am not sure why this drama was named “Moving”. Maybe because the characters' background stories all moved (aka touched) me. Each of the gifted just wants to live a normal life with the people they love. Why can’t the evil governments let these poor souls be? Getting to know each of the characters is the best part of the drama for me. The adults and the villains have suffered so much. We have devoted parents who give up everything, so that their children can be safe, and won’t be exposed and exploited. We have parents who just want to live an honest life and make a living, yet are forced to be trained as soldiers and assassins. At the end of the day, there are only 3 characters I hate - Deputy Chief of NIS, Principal of the high school and the North Korea dude.
If you are watching this drama for Zo In Sung and his return to the small screen after 7 years, you will be disappointed. His screen time is so limited. I was expecting to see him more towards the end. He’s great as usual but was reduced to a supporting role more than a main role. His chemistry with Han Hyo Joo is great. Their love story is so sweet and adorable yet sad and heartbreaking. You can totally see how his son, Bong Seok, takes after his super dad in the romance department. Lee Mi Hyun is a badass single mom. It was so hard watching her raise her son alone and the ways she tried to keep him safe.
Fried Chicken Man, Jang Joo Won, must have the most violent scenes in the drama. Every time I see him fight, I mentally prepare myself to look away. But when he’s just a single dad, he’s so sweet, like a big teddy bear. His little love story has the same awkward adorableness as Kim Doo Shik. Both men just want to spend the rest of their lives with their wives and children. Is that too much to ask for?
I was not really prepared for the drama to focus on the kids/teens so much in the first 7 episodes. Their stories are pretty good, but not as interesting as the adults. There are some cute and funny scenes between Jang Hee Soo and Kim Bong Seok. I like how their friendship slowly develops into something more. However, I find the transition from kids to adults storylines somewhat disjointed. The back-and-forth switching of the timelines could be confusing as the drama tells the stories of different characters.
“Moving” has a star-studded cast of veteran actors. I thought to myself, “Hey, I know you!” as there are so many supporting roles played by amazing actors. There’s no reason to worry about the acting in this drama. The makeup department needs to get an award. The wounds are amazingly real, that’s why I had to look away. It was too much for me. On the other hand, the CCI of flying is quite hilariously fake. Maybe I am more used to C-drama wuxia wire work.
I would recommend this drama if you enjoy super powers, thrillers and action scenes. “Gore” is one of the tags, so be warned. Each episode is captivating and keeps me entertained. 20 episodes went by really fast and I wanted more. Will there be a season 2? We shall see!
Other Random Observations:
1. Don’t forget to watch past the ending credits!
2. Bong Seok’s accidental floating and Hee Soo trying to hold him down - very cute!
3. Dong Shik, “An Intentional failure is not a failure.”
4. Monster is a romanticists, reading ‘romance’ novels, e.g. Fox Volant of the Snowy Mountain
5. Like parents, like children - Bong Seok and Hee Soo with the sky + ground attack, just like Doo Shik and Joo Won.

Drama that makes one SHRIEK with excitement
Picture this- a family of 4 getting together every Wednesday night to watch the newest episodes of Moving. That's what my family did all the way till the final ep. Every ep made us excited for the next and it was just THAT GOOD. The series made us cry, laugh, smile and gasp throughout.Story: 10/10
AMAZINGLY TOLD. The screenwriter, Kang Full, is the same person who created the webtoon. He not only told the story authentically, followed his source material, but also revamped certain aspects and made the show so much more appealing. To have this much insight and direction of how to tell the story behind SO many characters is remarkable. A 20 ep drama covering a 45 chp webtoon was paced so well. Every ep had aspects to pull you to watch the next. This is a MUST WATCH for everyone.
Acting/Cast: 10/10
Just how did they cast the characters so well!! All the actors and actresses did such a terrific job. Ryu Seung Ryong made my entire family sob with his excellent performance- moved to absolute tears. Of course, everyone did exceptionally but I do have my favourites. Lee Jung Ha will be on my watchlist- he was adorable and such a likeable presence in the show.
Music: 10/10
The sound design and music matched all scenes very well. There were no instances where I felt they were forcing the audience to feel emotions with just music alone. The scenes and acting themselves were so well done that the music truly served to enhance and make everything so much better. Sound design was also great- fight scenes were all the more brutal and realistic with it!
Rewatch: 10/10
Going back, I can appreciate the amount of details added to the show. Everything was just so well thought out, that there are things only to be spotted when you go back to rewatch. The visuals of the show also make it worth to go back to.
Overall: 10/10
It might just be my favourite show of 2023. Recommended to all ages above 15. This season was complete and satisfying alone, but they did start a few more plot strings to get the audience hyped for Season 2. Hence, I still urge for anyone who hasn't watched to WATCH NOW.

Its not just special, Its the best kdrama I have watched
From start to end, Moving never fails to engage and excite you. Its a masterpiece and will be remembered for a long time.Lets talk in a bit of detail about the various aspects of the drama
Story :
The story is based on the webtoon of the same name. The drama is about 3 students who have special abilities, and their parents who are trying to protect them from being hunted. The story is set in the present time but has a lot of flashbacks. Its an interesting way to tell the story. It first sets up the present and then goes into flashbacks to explain why it is what it is. The story of each character is carefully carved out. You can connect to characters at a personal level because it's not just a story of their powers and good deeds but goes deep down into how they ended up there, and how they struggled. The were explored as characters without glorifying their abilities and depressing their flaws which makes them more acceptable, real and awesome.
I usually am not a fan of dramas with multiple main leads because I feel they end up prioritizing one over the other and are not able to flesh out any character perfectly. But in contrast to my opinion,I really liked the drama despite having so many leads. I feel all characters were given just the right amount of screen time. You can just not not like any character. They all are just soo awesome.
The romance was sooo on point. There was a mature romance shown between the parents and a cute romance between the kids. It's perfectly fitted according to their age groups and personalities. It was just so much fun to watch. I just love all the couples :D
Acting :
The actors did such an amazing job. Amazzing cast. Han Hyo Joo is sooo talented. One moment she looks like a mom who is tired but worried for her kid and one moment she is this fierce woman who is ready to take anyone down. Lee Jung Ha did an amazing job playing bongseok. He is just soooooo cute, innocent and adorable. Go Youn Jung nailed her role as Hee Soo. Even though Kim Do Hoon did not get as much screen time, his character was as impactful in the story as others. Zo In Sung and Ryu Seung Ryong were amazing too.
I love how the makeup was done very minimalistic to make them not look like glorified pretty actors but as normal people. They really took care of every small details.
Visuals :
Moving is a visual treat. All the superpower/action scenes of it felt so real. Such good quality production, great CGI/VFX
Some dialogues are so good they are just stuck with you forever. One of my favs is by Hee Soo, " You are not weird at all, just a bit special"
Also I loved the small references of what parents did, is the same as what the kids are doing.
I mean I don't have any complaints from the drama except that it was only 20 episodes. Now that it's finished what do I watch? It's so heartbreaking but all good things come to an end.
I can just go on praising the drama but let's leave some excitement and time for you to watch the drama. A good review must also come to an end :p
So in short, It is really a must-watch. One drama you can not afford to miss!
Irrespective of what genre you like, this drama literally provides everything from romance, comedy, action, thriller, mystery, supernatural young characters, and mature characters, it is a full package.

Beautiful story of trauma and love
I will preface this review with my admission to my love of superheroes. But I never expected to love it so as to write a review. Let’s start with the obvious: the casting. The superb entourage of both senior and junior actors was fabulous. The cinematography also blew it out the park with a strong sense of color symbolism through the show. Best, the plot stayed true to the webtoon. The flow and the presentation of each aspect of this story was as chaotic as it was alluring, allowing myself to get lost in the world created by Kang Full.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Is this a teen drama?
I tried so hard to watch this. However, it’s a teen drama and I don’t do HS dramas. If I wanted to watch a HS drama, I would watch a HS drama. Friends told me I have to wait until epi 9 before it gets good. It’s already epi 5 and no Zo In Sung.Contrast this with the other superhero show broadcasting now, Uncanny Counter 2, which as been action from the get go. (That show suffers from other problems but action wasn’t one of them) No need for patience till almost midway through the season. And 20 episodes? Come on, do better with the editing seriously.
This is also a rip off Fantastic 4 and other broody teenage superhero movies trying to tame their super powers. Heroes, the American TV show, especially comes to mind. This is such a rip-off.

SOO GOOD NEED SEASON 2 REAL FAST
At firsst I was sceptical to watch this, but after watching this I didnot feel regret. It was soo good. From the story on how their parent try to protect them and also plot after plot, cannot wait for the season 2. I think maybe there will be even season 3 seeing on how the story involve USA and NK. Not just that after seeing ganghoon join the superpower association of SK and suprisingly I think the girl that was bully in the story of Jang Hee Soo maybe she is the grand daughther of the president association. I only fear that there will be friction or maybe blood between Kim Bong Seok and Ganghoon to try to win Hee Soo heart. And seeing Bong Seok father return in the story and USA making move, it will be interisting in season 2. And I still think the Kim family is still the strongest because each of them got 2 power KDS can fly and speed, LMH can listening and eyes, KBS inherit his father fly and his mother listening even thought Jang family regeneration is OP.So recommended for those who want to watch this.

Moving moved me
It's just a fantastic show. Sometimes it's easier to review a show you didn't like because the bad aspects tend to stick out. I still want to give it a try. What I loved about the show:
• The characters!!! Their relationship dynamics and development. I especially loved Bong Seok and Hee Soo. They were so cute and felt like real students. The way the parents tried everything and would do everything to protect their kids was really moving. It was easy to love the characters in this show.
• The plot was exciting. Good balance between heart-felt and action scenes. The origin-stories of each person was unique and interesting to see. I really hope for a second season, especially because it feels like the student's journey has only begun. I want to see them all reunite after growing a bit
The only thing I disliked:
• Spending so much time without the character of the present time while heavily focusing on the past. It's not an actual critique since I still really enjoyed these episodes
Conclusion: I want a second season!!!
