Korean Version of X-Men
Amid the recent string of disappointments in US superhero movies and TV shows, the Korean take on superhero dramas outshines its US counterpart. This series focus on family and human relationship with intensity, suspense, and heartwarming moments. It kept me interested for entire 20 episodes, and I'm eagerly hoping for a second season. It stands in stark contrast to recent US superhero movies that often feel boring. I've wholeheartedly recommended this drama to all my friends. You won't regret watching this drama.Esta resenha foi útil para você?

Why are gems like this so rare
So, I'm actually a bit late to this. I saw a random clip on social media about the backstory of Lee Mi Hyun and Kim Doo Shik which made me watch this instantly (the rating on MDL def influence me as well). But oh lord it did not disappoint! It's not a simple task to pack so much into a single story, especially with so many different settings (school life, backstories and even the story of the "villains"). I quite enjoyed the beginning with Bong Seok and Hui Soo carrying the show, but maybe arguably the best part (or the part were I giggled the most) was definitely Mi Hyun and Doo Shik's love story. I mean, let's talk about Doo Shik. I never cared about Jo In Sung (the actor) in particular, to be frank I didn't even think he was handsome, but damn as Doo Shik he was a heartthrob and very handsome (I also just saw that this drama is his first one since 2016!).
Really every single backstory told its story well, but I had hoped for more interactions between the cast, not just between the kids, but the parents and Jeong Gye Do??? Honestly, he is a bit random, even though I like his story, so I am not complaining, but it'd be nice if we see him interact with the other "superhuman" more.
What really surprised me though, were the "villains"! I really really enjoyed their characterisation, because they are not just evil for the sake of being evil, but they are just puppets given no other choice under the control of bigger institutions. The emotional portrayal of each on of them (Frank and everyone from the North) left a mark on me and made me sympathise with them. I think they definitely did a great job at showing that they have feeling and that they CARE about their family, friends and even "just" innocent people. It also shows a great parallel between the South, North and the USA. At the end they were all victims, that just want to live with their loved ones in peace. (PLEASE PLEASE I'm begging the director, show more of Hui Soo, her dad and the big guy from the North who they adopted into their family, it's so cuteeee).
I'm really really looking forward to Season 2 (pls pls pls) and how they'll develop the story further now that Doo Shik is back (yaaay), Bong Seok is playing superman (?), Kang Hoon is working under the NIS (sensing some conflict there) and that the "leaders" are dead, but obviously replaced again and boy I am NOT happy that with the replacement in the South, that guy is a psychopath. I also just noticed that the girl who was bullied in Hui Soo's old school is higher up than Min Yong Joon (the head of NIS). So that makes me question bunch of things??
One thing I also liked was actually the OST, though sometimes they kinda overplayed it a bit, but it doesn't sound "Korean Drama like" but still had that impactful emotional sound! I've noticed that in recent year OSTs in Kdramas in general has become less predictable, which I really enjoy!
Anyways I really really enjoyed this show and I am looking forward to Season 2!

Stellar Performance Throughout, Fell Short at The Finale
SPOILER-FREE PARTFollowing the hype surrounding this drama, I decided to give it a watch.. and oh boy did they put something into it, cause' I couldn’t keep my eyes off the screen!
Looking at Moving’s (무빙) synopsis alone, although the premise isn’t entirely new to cinema, it definitely stands as one of the more well-produced ones, both in cinematography and script. For me, there were no complaints for the cinematography, as lighting, shots, angles, ambiance, and special effects were all done immaculately. I am an avid fan of dramas that don’t shy away from gore and the knitty-gritty details. The drama may be a bit extreme and bloody, but ultimately contributes to its incredible ambiance.
Acting-wise, you can just look at the lineup and can’t help feel content that you’re not wasting your time seeing emotionless characters and botched crying scenes. Also, can we just give a quick round of applause to the young actors? Admittedly, Korean cinema is filled with so many young talents, and Moving greatly demonstrated their potential to the world.
SPOILERS AHEAD
Looking at the plot, the synopsis is as straightforward as it can be. It doesn’t take much effort to understand what’s going on, courtesy of the dramas excellent worldbuilding and pacing, which sits at a comfortable level that keeps you on the edge of your seat, eyes locked in and all— at the right time. It also leaves you anticipating for the next episode to come out— a suspense factor, which is something I feel most action and thriller dramas lack nowadays, along with its unpredictability. Character relationships developed steadily and didn’t feel awkward or draggy. Despite that, the flow of the drama felt a bit off and confusing at times (at least for me). Keep in mind that this drama is flashback galore. We spend a good chunk in the past, so the present timeline feels more like a side story than the main. Adding to this, certain important events that occur throughout the drama tend to appear in mixed order, so not chronilogically, so it takes a bit of effort piecing this event with another and constructing a mental timeline of what events took place first, and how it later contributes to a future event. To my disappointment, I was left with quite a lot of plot holes, even after the story wrapped up, from the SCAs ultimate goal (why are they actively hiring someone to assassinate the Korean supernaturals, the breeding program that was briefly mentioned by the leader of the NIS, Kim Dooshik’s whereabouts, Ki-Soo’s ankle scar and its relation to the temp teacher, the headmasters assassination, and the mysterious identity shrouding the bullied classmate.
I would’ve also liked to see more of Gang-Hoon, as he had a rather weak presence throughout the drama. His story was just so.. lackluster compared to Bong-Seok’s and Hee-Soo’s.
Meanwhile, the ending felt rushed and just.. incomplete. I didn’t read the original webtoon, but I heard that the drama adaptation strayed quite a bit from its source material, so if there was a chance to revise the script, I would’ve definitely extended the drama’s length to tie up some of those loose ends.
If you’re unfamiliar with how I rate a drama’s storyline, check out my bio! Today’s ride scores a C!
SPOILER-FREE PART
Nonetheless, it was an awesome binge. Was it a masterpiece? No. However, it was still well worth the watch. I would recommend Moving for anyone. After all, you really can’t go wrong with a good superhero-themed drama to comfort your inner child with.

BEST KDRAMA OF 2023
OMGGG I LOVED THE WHOLE PLOT AND STORY...overall the kdrama was perfectthe cast was perfect.
I loved how they built suspense about what is happening in the whole story..
I really liked the past stories of how lee min hyun and Kim dooshik met...my personal fav was the love story of jang suwon and jeehi...also jangjuwon with his regenerative powers and Kim dooshik with his flying abilities was the best duo..
I loved how the drama portrayed the beautiful relationship of parent and their child. and the little teen romance between bongseok and huisoo was the cutest!!
one thing I would like to share is how in the last few episodes they made us empathise with the North Korean villains..like WHY AM I CRYING OVER A BAD GUY'S DEATH??
~SOME OF MY FAV SCENES~
1. baby bongseok and Kim dooshik's scene of flying in the sky above clouds
2. loved the scene in the end of how bongseok carries his injured mom...it made me emotional how in the beginning his mom used to go around him on her back

Not a one we often get
One of the finest dramas of 2023 so far. All characters have their own interesting stories. But there is not enough time to explore them. The cast look perfect which is another hooking element . All of them did their roles well. Rooting for kimBongSeok and JungHuisoo😘.They are cute together.
Never a fan of HanHyoJoo. But I like her here . Her chemistry with JoInSung!😍❤️
But their story was not enough for me.
And the family finally got together. Could have shown a little more of their family time with the Adorable BongSeok. 😞🤧
Huisoo and her father. My most favourite. Father's love for daughter🤧. My weakness. Also the actress who played huisoo's mom looked somewhat similar to her. That actually gave the feeling of them as Real mom and daughter.
And the adorable family of KangHoon, their Teacher, the student kiSoo. Bungaeman. Liked all the characters.
The villains are the poorest souls. Just like the heroes, they wanted to protect their family too. Felt bad for them. 🤧 The flying man, Giant Guy. And The one who can make waves by his hands. My heart just sank for him. He just wanted die in the end, still they didn't leave him alone. 😔. Glad the giant guy ended up with huisoo and her father, no matter however it happened. In the end everyone wanted to survive and live on.
The girl who can see through. Somewhat guessed her to be alive. But her position right now is shocking. What the heck really happened with her. Her mom tried to prevent her from going there. She still chose to go to there. She is one mystery.
But wish to see the guy who can manipulate time if there season 2 on the way.
Also the guy Alex. Expected him to be alive too. The question is, what side will he choose to stand with if there is season 2.
Should have had more episodes and each episode should have little more length.
Overall a Roller coaster ride.

Masterpiece after a while!
I watched this Action-packed Korean drama “Moving” because of the reels. At first, I thought it would be boring office drama BUT I was so wrong when I started watching… It turns out to be one of the BEST KDRAMA OF 2023.This is the only Kdrama of 2023 that I give 9.5 out of 10 😍 after so long I give any drama this rating. It is so amazing, filled with Multistars, action, emotions, slow-burn romance, superpowers, and whatnot… it is perfect in every aspect.
It is a big-budget multi-starred series where writer Kang Full gives each character their backstory. Every actor and supporting cast of this series did their work with so much dedication that you didn’t question of Han Hyo Joo playing the role of a teen mom Lee Mi Hyun.
Bong Seok can fly but isn’t allowed by his mother, so he tries everything to hide it. Hee Soo possesses exceptional athleticism and rapid injury recovery & isn’t aware until she faces an incident that leads her to join a new school and Gang Hoon wields uncanny strength and speed and is being trained by NIS to later join them.
Every episode of this series starts with a new character, their superpower, and their story. While the first half focused on the teens other half was dedicated to their parents' lives, the struggle to hide their kids, and the urge to protect them won’t let you hold your tears.
Meanwhile, the villains of the story have their own backstory which makes you sympathize with them instead of hating. The supporting characters like Choi Il Hwan (Kim Hee Won) PE teacher, and Jeon Gye Do (Cha Tae Hyun) bus driver have a very significant impact on the story.
The screenplay is not too fast, not too slow, just the right amount of humor, and the slow-burn romance between the main characters Lee Mi-hyun and Kim Doo-sik urges you to ask for more, the cute romance of Jang Joo Won and Hwang Ji Hee is so innocent. Also, the teen romance between Bong Seok and Hee Soo makes you giggle.
The background music is perfect, and the VFX of the fighting scenes was amazing but could be better in a few scenes, like where Kim Bong Seok was breaking the glass while saving Hee Soo.
The action scenes are no joke, Jang Ju-won (Ryu Seung-ryong) fighting scenes literally remind you of Hulk and Lee Jae Man (Kim Sung Kyun) action scenes and the faceoff was so rizz… He is still the most powerful but… Imagine if this character didn’t have any mental challenges then?
Now about the ending, Unexpectedly where other KDramas are giving realistic endings Moving has a happy ending with the potential of next season. Hence, not the director nor the writer announced anything about next season but fans demanding it, so, you can understand the popularity.
IMO, this is a must-watch Kdrama series if you are a fan of action and/or romance you would definitely gonna love this. 💜😍

as always, typical korean dramas
as always, too much stupid character created by writer. i mean, how the diplomats deal with situation, like a kids dealing with candy fight. and about the bullying at school, there are many cameras and eye watching. how come its decided as oneside persecution by the thoose stupid teacher? no investigation?the story was 1 against 17? i mean 1 single lady fought 16 bullying gals +1 man with baseball bat? with over thousend camera and eyes ? thats all the out come? kicked out? and just be hosnest.. this is just x-man copying with little bit change on it.. droped at 6. cant bare anymore stupity rised to take viewer emotion. that trick is so lame.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
A show filled with love, but with a twist
I rarely write any rewiews, but this show was something else.Every last frame was perfectly timed, the music was perfectly placed. Even the fighting scenes had my heart racing.
„Moving“ shows what it’s like to have a different approach among the families. Yes love and the powers were the main reason for being very careful outside their houses, but they showed us how they handle it in the right way.
Every actor did such an amazing job playing their role, it was a rollercoaster of emotion, action packed with very messy scenes.
Overall a wonderful series, with a deep meaning behind of it. Waiting for season two will be hard, but than again if it drops it will be worth the wait.

It rember me a littel bit to the story of Herors, but a littel bit darker ;-) (deutsch / german)
(Heroes is an American mystery and science fiction television series that aired from September 25, 2006 to February 8, 2010)The Sory itself is quite bloodthirsty, so for people who don't like gore, please get eye patches :-)
What I thought was great is that the individual characters that play a role in the story were explained how they got that way, praise to the story writers. because that's how it was always explainable and how it fits into the whole story,
Question is is there a second season?
Material would be there, the only question is which stories the entire characters will then meet again.

What parents can do for their children
Likes1. My favorite character is Jang Juwon! His wailing when Jihee died had me in tears too.
2. Kim Bong Seok and Jang Hee Soo were cute. Esp Bongseok who was so fluffy and sweet with a big heart. When he floated for the first time.
3. Lee Mihyun and Kim Dushik live story in ep 8-9 was 🥰🥰🥰. All those glances, the flying donkatsu delivery. First kiss and Dusik floated. "I feel like I'm dying"
4. Lee Jae Man and his son's love for each other.
5. Bungaeman saving everyone in the end with super powerbank energy. The buses he crashed 🤣.
6. Even the Nokor stories were so sad. They were also victims.
7. Ilhwan who became a real teacher to the students.
8. How the parents fought so hard to protect their kids from the evil organization.
Dislikes
I dont even know what to write. Maybe more Kim Dusik scenes. Maybe more episodes (20 eps didnt seem that long). Wishing for Season 2.
Rating: 9.5/10
