I'm surprised that with Sung Ryung's advanced knowledge of technology she didn't find a way to secretly communicate with her son under the chairman's nose through all these years. I was also surprised she left the country after her son was taken from her. By contrast, So Bong is (so far) a more interesting character, especially since she does something she shouldn't ethically, but she's not an awful person, as evidenced by how nice she is to her friend after she's discovered.
