Not similar in terms of storyline.. like at all
but both dramas give off a "fluffy"/cutesy feel
overall, both are fun and light dramas that you should try ;)

Both have feel-good vibes, a slow burn storyline and a wonderful ensemble cast. Both make you feel like your stress is being washed away with each episode..

- ML protected her in school (SIW) / FL saved him in school (WFKBJ)
- got separated and met up later again
- constant bickering, funny and ML/FL are very comfortable with each other, start of as friends first
- ML supports FL and encourages her to get better
- sassy and strong FL, want to succeed in a field where there are usually just men
- extremely good looking cast

Similar themes of sport and perservence in the light of everyday life and situations. Also about loyalty. And friendship.

I think anyone who watched Lovely Us will love WFKBJ since they are both total packages with wonderful female and male lead surrounded with a great friend group. Both will give satisfying endings as it makes you crave for more. Both are one of the best if ever well written youth Asian dramas out there!! Happy watching !

Both dramas represent youth & their problems in adolescent years. In a good way have a lesson about never giving up on dream much as in WFKBJ.
If you can watch Taiwanese dramas, give it a go!!

Both are about young people who are athletes and start out as friends. Although this one is about wrestling.

Both dramas feature a main female lead who doesnt feel comfortable in her own body.

FL in Socialization is too tall, FL in WFKBJ is too strong. Both are athletes. Message is similar in both: Learn to love youself.

The themes are very different. WLFKBJ focuses on career, coming of age, internal struggles and Uchikare's main theme is the mother-daughter relationship. However, the 'slight romance' in Uchikare is very similar to the romance of WLFKBJ, at least the first half. We have the FL in love/likes someone else in the beginning, the ML knows and despite having feelings for her, he helps her through thick and thin. So anyone who enjoys watching men being total supportive simps, you would probably enjoy the slow-burn of Uchikare.

In entrambi i drama possiamo trovare lo sport come argomento cardine e i personaggi principali perseguono la loro passione nonostante le diverse problematiche. Anche in My Unicorn Girl possiamo trovare tanta dolcezza nella coppia principale che è ben intervallata da scene comiche che strappano molti sorrisi e risate, infatti i due partono come "nemici. si avvicinano sempre di più. È inoltre presente un elemento fantasy che però non è esagerato e fa da filo conduttore della trama. Super consigliato per gli amanti della leggenda del filo rosso. Entrambi i drama mettono il buonumore e sono ideali per quei momenti in cui si ha bisogno di guardare qualcosa di leggero, dolce e zuccheroso.

If you loved Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo because of the excessive fluff and cute moments between the two leads and an adorable (boyfriend material) male lead and for the comedic moments, then you'll love Lucky Romance!! They both have rivalry drama, although Lucky Romance is more dramatic and Weightlifting Fairy is more slow paced; the storyline of the two are not similar at all but more so the cute romance and male lead is what I find similar !

Both are about college life and students falling in love. They are both sweet and fluffy-romance dramas.

Both are sports romance drama of which Love All Play focused only on Badminton whereas Weighlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo covers Weightlifting, Swimming and Rhythmic gymnastics.
And also watch how the main couple become friends and then lovers.
