Nihonjin no Shiranai Nihongo (2010)

First, before you watch this drama make sure you're interested in the Japanese language. This drama is more like watching it for learning, and also entertaining. But i, on the other hand didn't watch it for learning so think more about what kind of mood you have while watching this.
Even if i didn't have the right mood, i enjoyed watching this drama because i think it was fun while watching and i got to know more about japanese and its hidden rules. But i think the mood will be even better if you are currently learning japanese, the drama will be more valuable that way i think.
But the story is not only about japanese, every episode has a special situation that needs to be solved kind of, so we also see how this teacher somehow is kinda like a mother to her students, she help them and are always there for them. So it is a touching drama too, of people who tries to achieve their dreams and helping each other ;)

This drama overall was a bit hit and miss for me.
The concept itself seemed interesting, and as a learner of the Japanese language, I thought that from watching it I could learn more about the language. However the drama left me feeling disappointed.
It is interesting from the perspective of a Japanese language leaner as it does explain some concepts of the language, and as a casual viewer some of the stories the drama presented were enjoyable. However where it fell down the most was in the acting.
The acting from Kano Haruko was okay, which helped to bring it all together, but the acting from the members of her class were overall an extremely poor quality. The foreign cast member's acting made the series hard to watch at times and I felt myself feeling awkward or embarrassed while watching it, which is not a good feeling to have as a viewer!
For that reason it is hard to recommend, but I did overall enjoy it. So if you are willing to look past some poor acting and have an interest in the Japanese language you may also enjoy this drama.
