A chill yet enjoyable drama
This was my very first C-drama and it gotten me interested with watching other C-dramas too. As a gamer, I really did enjoy the concept of incorporating MMORPG into the story. It was really a fresh idea, and haven't seen this kind of concept done on dramas.Story-wise it is a very simple storyline with no huge plot. It is another one of those chill dramas that you want to watch when you don't want anything heavy.
Things I've enjoyed from this drama:
- Again, let me repeat. I enjoyed how they incorporated MMORPG game into the story. As a previous 'Age of Wushu' player, the game they were playing was really similar. So everything happening from the game was relatable, even the toxic players too.
- I'll be honest, despite the main leads are a bit stiff with their characters. I do enjoy the chemistry between them, the fluffy scenes would just make me squeal.
- I love how the main leads have complete trust with one another in their relationship. This was something I didn't expect to see in a drama, and it was just so nice to see this kind of couple in the drama world. They would talk things out, and wouldn't submit to any rumors and clear things out.
- Wei Wei (FL), she's very intelligent and she's very capable of handling herself.
- 'Villains' of the story had much positive growth.
- I enjoyed the subtle bromance between two of the characters in the series. Also I do love the ML and FL's set of friends, they really do bring life to the drama too.
- The drama gave justice to the novel source, I love how they fleshed out the online scenes and other parts of the story.
Cons:
- I'll be honest in the first several re-watches I've done, I didn't really see it at first... but let me just say that Xiao Nai is really a huge red flag. So if you're uncomfortable with the ML being a stalker in the first few episodes and a bit dominating with making decisions for the FL. Maybe this might not be your cup of tea.
- Kiss scenes between the main leads are mediocre. Yang Yang did a good job, but Zheng Shuang didn't do much responses to his kisses. I would understand where the first kiss where she was dumbfounded and not responding since it was her character's first kiss, but wish she became more responsive on the next kisses.
- Main leads' characters, Xiao Nai and Wei Wei, are a bit too perfect in my opinion, their character wasn't relatable. Would have been more enjoyable if they had their own flaws as well and saw them have more character growth. But there's really no character growth for the main casts.
- I did not like who the second FL ended up with. She deserved someone better in my opinion.
Overall:
If you want something not so complex. Just a chill and simple drama, you might enjoy this. I really enjoy it despite it being a simple and easy going story. There are some flaws, but that's okay. Love the concept of the relationship starting from online, and it becoming offline (real) and a healthy one also.

I actually just finished watching this drama for the 2nd time and I loved it as much as I did the first time I watched it.
STORY: I am a lover of video games so to have an entire drama with this as a part of its story...I’m all for it. The romance definitely is the reason why people watch this drama but the video game theme doesn’t hurt. It is like this drama is telling 2 different stories. One story within the game and 1 story in reality which keeps it interesting. The video game scenes are beautifully done. I also like that the male and female lead both have brains and beauty because it doesn’t fall within the usual tropes of a lot of Asian dramas where the female is portrayed as a damsel in distress. One downside is that I feel like the same characters who create the initial conflicts for the main couple because redundant by the end of the story because coming from a viewers perspective by the middle or near end of the drama, the main couple has no reason to break up or have conflict so for these “rival” characters to butt in again and again was a little annoying but I remembered that from the first time I watched it as well.
ACTING: I have to say the actor playing the male lead carried this drama. I didn’t like or dislike the female lead but I definitely preferred the male lead which was the same when I first saw this drama. If it wasn’t for the male lead and the supporting cast, I probably would have dropped this drama the first time I watched this drama...this drama is the reason why I like Yang Yang so much.
MUSIC: I like the main theme that played when the main couple were together. It gets into your head FOR SURE!
REWATCH VALUE: Since this was my second time watching this drama...I would say it has a HUGE REWATCH VALUE FOR ME! It is just an easy and sweet drama to put on during a rainy day.
OVERALL: if you are looking for a light and romantic drama with good chemistry, an unique theme and great CGI...THIS DRAMA IS FOR YOU!

Après même si je l'adore ce trouve que certaines parties de l'histoire et mal gérer ou encore avait du potentiel mais vite baclé.
Même si j'ai mis 10/10 je dois avouer que j'ai vraiment eu l'impression qui ont eu du mal a terminer la fin du drama mais cela reste sympa.
Mais les chansons sont bien je l'ai écoute en boucle la plupart du temps.
Bravo à l'acteur Yang Yang qui est un de mes acteurs favoris.
Le petit plus c'est que j'ai vraiment aimé voir le côté création de jeux vidéo j'ai trouver cela cool.

very very love for love 020
The drama Love 020 was the best romantic drama I have ever seen. There are several 18+ scenes here. Kint likes it too. It has been quite difficult to see with the English subtitle. However, it was a very beautiful and story-driven drama. I didn't want to get up after watching the last 10 episodes. However, I finished. Not to mention the performance of Zhang Shuang and Yang Yang. I have never seen such a beautiful performance in other movies. it's best on my life. i cannot hide from my memory.愛情020是我看過最好的愛情劇。這裡有幾個 18+ 的場景。金特也喜歡。用英文字幕很難看。然而，這是一部非常美麗且故事驅動的戲劇。看了最後10集就不想起來了。然而，我完成了。更不用說張爽和楊洋的表現了。我從未在其他電影中看到過如此美麗的表演。這對我的生活來說是最好的。我無法隱藏我的記憶。

Story
This drama has a quiet standard story. What i meant here is the whole story of the drama has been used by many previous dramas. But, the element about gaming fascinates and intrigued me. The story is well build. Moreover, the story is not as clingy as the other similiar type of drama.
Plot
The plot of this drama is simple and quiet consistent pace even the pace slow down and plain at some moments. The plot may slow down but it doesn't rush.
Acting
The acting is good enough. The expressions of each character is well delivered. The chemistry among casts, especially the main casts are great. I don't expect the two main casts can gradually put the feeling into their characters.
Music
To me, the soundtrack for this drama is good enough. But to be honest, i prefer a more beat song to complete the drama.

Cast: Ohh, I really like the male lead (Yang Yang) he is very handsome and sooo perfect. 10/10
Music: TBH I am not really familiar with Chinese compared to Japanese and Korean but I really did liked their OST's and while I am typing this review the Main song keeps on playing on my head! 10/10
Rewatch Value: I will def! Rewatch it for sure! 10/10

A green flag drama that's so nice it's sometimes boring
I've watched this drama and while I really like how wholesome it felt I'm not sure if I really like it so much.It's great to finally see a Chinese drama where villain characters are normal, not obsessive and even show some inner growth. Total green flags.
I loved how groups of friends were portrayed. It was really nice to watch their playful banter.
At the same time the banter between the leads didn't feel half as good. I don't know if it was because of the translation but their dialogue felt quite stiff. It was difficult to see when they (supposedly) build their deep and trustful relationship. It was never showed how their connected as an adult couple (not students that are just going out). So it felt as if it's enough to spend a lot of time together to be a great couple;)
Also there were some moments when ML felt more like a stalker than a love intrest (the FL gets to know him in 9th episode). Side character KO felt creepy through the whole drama (was it supposed to be hinting some romantic interest with another guy?).
My main problem with this drama is that ML was just too great. He was great at everything and with everybody. There was not a problem he couldn't predicted and solve before the problem itself was even revealed to the audience. In the end it was somewhat boring. On the other hand, FL (who was supposed to be his female counterpart) wasn't given any challenge to show off her skills. In the end she was reduced to ordering food and playing the online game according to his instructions.
All in all, it was a good, nice watch. Although I would enjoy it more if the FL was portrayed more lively and with more occasion to show her wit.

Refreshing and makes you smile!
First off, if you want reality you won’t find much of it here. This drama is where I discovered Yang Yang. For me he is truly the glue in this series. His sly, cute smile; his dry sense of humor (makes you have to think about it before you get it); his vulnerability about dating, all serve to make him a genuinely NICE GUY! The actress playing Wei Wei was beautiful but much too wooden, very stiff and awkward, especially in kissing scenes. Even to the very end she kept her eyes open, almost like she was thinking “can we get this over with, please?”. And she seemed to be unhealthily thin. Wei Wei’s roommates were cool. Erxi was a bit too over-the-top in the cutesie department but she was a real friend to Wei Wei.. I really enjoyed Xaio Nai’s roommates. They were such a hoot in the game and in reality. I also liked the actor who player Cao Guang (Foreign language genius). All in all this definitely was more fantasy than reality, tho. The story of their computer programming company was very interesting for me, especially the intricacies they displayed. This is a very rewatchable drama and one of the few I actually bought! 9.5 only because of the stiffness of the actress who played Wei Wei. Casal inabalável
Apesar de muitos falarem que a série é melhor que o filme, em muitos momentos eu discordo. Eu mantenho minhas impressões iniciais de que gosto mais do ator daqui e a atriz de lá. Já os problemas, são opostos, lá tem tempo de menos e aqui de mais.O começo desse drama foi penoso, bem ruinzinho e demorei pra me acostumar e pegar no tranco, no final porém, eu finalmente consegui aproveitar bastante!
Queria mais desenvolvimento para os secundários e tempo para isso eles tinham, assim como que a temática do jogo tivesse sido um pouquinho melhor aproveitada, mas espero que King's Avatar, que também tem o Yang Yang, consiga me suprir nisso. A química podia ter sido um pouco melhor também, talvez seja um dos problemas culturais que se ressaltou.
Mas em geral, o saldo fica positivo, um pouco acima da média, principalmente devendo ao fato de que o casal principal é muito maduro, não se deixando abalar pelos desafios os tramoias alheias, o que costuma ser bastante irritante, nisso aqui deram aula.
