Well.. Since this film is a remake of the original American version, it's obvious how the outcome will be like. Although there were some added parts, and many differences between the 2 films.

I, for one, actually enjoyed this film. It's my first cross-over films that didn't really leave me that disappointed. First of all, he actually spoke Japanese and did surprisingly well at it. I mean, when I saw 'Waiting in the Dark' I was disappointed with Chen Berlin cause he didn't really speak much in the film anyways, so I'm glad Song Seung Hun worked on his Japanese.. And I thought his little outbreaks of Korean every now and then were cute. Especially when he started teaching Nanami some words. I can't really say much about the plot, since it's nearly the same as the original... But the acting was well done. Although, I did think Kiki Kirin did perform a little too over-the-top, unlike Whoopie Goldberg's portrayal, but as a group the acting was really nothing to complain about.

As for the music, it was my particular favorite throughout the film. Ken Hirai has the voice of an angel. Now... Would I watch this film again? Not anytime soon, no, but maybe if I become bored or have nothing interesting to watch. Honestly, this film really wasn't too bad if you're looking for a film that's cute and heart-warming, I recommend watching this film.

It is a Japanese remake of the American film Ghost. They both used the song Unchained Melody, have the same story as one of the lovers will die and became a ghost, but the plot in the Japanese version is different.

It is ver romantic, emotional and you can feel the grief after the lost of someone you love. The special effects is good, the fighting scene and the thrill when uncovering the reason of death.

The wedding ceremony is so surreal but romantic indeed.

Well, I feel both happy and sad at the end. It is fantasy but it gives hopes and idea of eternal love. Both actors were good and I like Song Seun Hun (male lead) speaking Nihonggo.

Overall, I like the movie.

Okay this was a predictable ride throughout, being a remake of the famed Demi Moore starrer Ghost. I watched it only 'cause it boasts of a cast which includes Song Seung Hun. Storylines are similar except the ghost in this case is the woman. The movie is exceptionally slow in the beginning and until Nanami dies. Only then are things set into motion. The cute ghost kid who teaches Nanami how to be able to move material objects without a body, added charm to the few frames she was seen in and I wish the viewers had gotten more of her. What this movie missed was Whoopie Goldberg's excellent portrayal of the psychic in Ghost. We needed someone like her to spice things up. But Kiren Kiki does a moderate job in the few scenes she is seen. Again I'm being generous and giving it a 7 as I am a die hard Seung Hun fan. And Nanako Matsushima is another favorite.

Story: Obviously, the story itself isn't anything new. I do like that it had a few differences though, so I scored it a bit higher. The little ghost girl added a much needed comedy aspect, and she was absolutely adorable, so she was definitely one of my favorite additions. I also liked that the female died in this one as opposed to the male in the 1990 film. I think it would've been a little boring to have that part the same, so that got it some points from me.

The speed with which it was told wasn't too bad. The first 20 minutes or so feels a bit slow at times, and their final goodbye was really drawn out. I would've liked it if that had been shorter. Everything else in between felt like it was sailing along smoothly though.

Acting/Cast: It's hard to comment on the chemistry between everybody. A lot of the scenes had Matsushima Nanako in them, and since she's supposed to be dead throughout most of the film, it's difficult to critique that part. As a whole though, it didn't feel too bad. I did enjoy their interactions while watching.

Song Seung Hun. Anybody who knows me knows that I'm pretty much in love with this man and that he can do absolutely no wrong in my eyes. Now then, bias aside, I did like his acting. He had me shedding a few tears at times, and that's always a good quality to have. I loved listening to him speak Japanese as well. I'm so used to hearing him speak Korean that it was a nice switch.

Matsushima Nanako. Other than this, I've only ever seen her in 'Hana Yori Dango.' I loved her in that show, and I loved her in this movie. She's definitely high up on my list of Japanese actresses right now.

Kiki Kirin. It was hard for me to watch this and not compare her to Whoopi Goldberg. Whoopi was what made the whole movie for me in the 1990 film, so it was hard to live up to the standards she had set for me. That said, I did love Kiki in this movie. She was hilarious.

Music: I've never liked 'Unchained Melody.' Since this is Ghost, it's obviously going to be played more than once throughout. If it wasn't for Ken Hirai's 'Aishiteru,' I'd probably score this category a lot lower.

Other than those two songs, I don't remember any of the music if there was any.

Rewatch Value: I wouldn't be against watching this a second time.

Overall: Overall, it wasn't a horrible movie, but it wasn't a gem of a movie either. It was stuck somewhere in the middle. Like I said earlier, the beginning seemed slow at parts, and the end kind of dragged. I feel like if it weren't for the actors that played the lead characters in this movie, I would've had a hard time finishing it.

This was a re-make of the American Film with Patrick Swazye and Demi Moore but I must say I preferred this version with Jun-Ho (Song Seung-Heon)as a potter, who falls in love but his wife loses her life on her way home.
Then there's the psychic who helps by saying all that she could not say (because she's dead) and also helps to solve the murder.

What got on my nerves however, was her inability to tell him that she loved him.
I kept saying it at all the opportune times but she never did, lol.

A nice classic especially for persons who love to watch a good
