One of the best zombie movie
This is one the few zombie movies which are really good and are not just about action and all making 💥 boom bam here and there rather it's explore the grounded level problems and keep situations bit realistic and just not glorify the maine character. To be honest I'm not really fan of sad endings I even avoid watching movies or drama with sad sad endings but this is one of them which I watch even knowing that the ending is not really a happy ending.
And I think sad ending make this movie even more spacial.
So if you want to watch a zombie movie with emotional rollercoaster ride then just watch it without thinking about the ending I am sure you will like it.

Great movie it really makes you feel all the emotions.
I have watched many Zombie series/movies and i think this was the first movie where it made me full on cry. When i started the movie I didn't think you could get so attached to some of these characters which is never a good idea when you watch anything zombie related. So I didn't think the story would be so emotional surprised me there.Otherwise really great movie, the acting is really good you can feel every emotion through the actor/actress that it makes the story even more believable. The action scenes get you on the edge of your seat you never know what is going to happen, you never know how they will survive and get out of the situation. It never gets boring watching it.
This was my first review so I hope i wrote it ok. The first part was a review that doesn't contain spoilers the second part is just me ranting about some things from the movie which were the reasons I even wrote it in the first place.

MAJOR SPOLERS AHEAD!!!
That COCKROACH of a man did not only kill/infect all the people but also got infected himself, like he is so desperate to survive yet HE MANAGES TO DIE. Even the pregnant lady survived how can he so selfish and still be that useless for his survival.
Also the scene where the dad gets infected i couldn't have SOBED more it was already sad, but then they threw the flashbacks in NAHHH U TRYING TO KILL ME TOO.

ENDING WAS UNEXPECTED
Honestly, I went into watching this expecting just a 'scary movie' (as everyone says). However, I didn't expect to actually see character development from the male lead so quickly.
This was one of the best kmovies I've watched and probably will watch again.
The ending had me in tears.
ps.
a) that annoying, arrogant old man- i just wanted to slap him ; of course he had to be selfish to the end
b) i felt like that little girl learned a lesson but i feel bad because shes now traumatised for life

It'll wreck you
I kept getting recommended this movie so I finally sat down and watched it. Now, I don't often give media full marks but holy shiiiiit this was so good.Zombies:
I'm not really a huge fan of zombie shows or zombie movies. The way they implemented the zombies in this movie though... Definitely worth the watch. The way they used tricks with light and sound to maneuver past the zombies was so well coordinated. Add in the creepiness of these zombies running, climbing, and clamoring across each other for their next bite... well yeah it's definitely nightmare fuel.
Humans:
As always, the human aspect is often more terrifying than the zombies. You know what to expect with zombies. You never know when a human will decide to turn on you. The main group finding ways to push forward together, even with tension between them and a different group. The way the father fought to protect his daughter. The way the husband fought to protect his wife. The teenage friends. The elderly sisters. So many good scenes between characters. Some that are inspiring. Some that will absolutely wreck you. Some that will make you want to rage quit but keep watching because it is 100% worth it all just to reach the ending.
Movie:
I cannot stress enough that this movie is absolutely worth watching all the way through. You HAVE to get to the end. The payoff at the end is beautiful!

They got me so invested in all the characters and fleshed out the character development for pretty much everyone, which is really hard to do in a simple two hour movie. I was really emotionally connected to all the characters and yes, there was a lot of crying.
Essentially, this is so much more than a zombie movie. Yes, there are zombies and they freaked me out, but the story was so much more about human nature. There's a lot of social commentary about how the homeless is treated, about selfishness, about how easily distrust is sewn between one another...I felt a lot of references to Macbeth and Lord of the Flies when I was watching this — but with ten times the emotional impact.

Not horror at all!
This is indeed a good one tho but won't say not that much good like at end the separation scene was a bit twisty and also when the person in the train helped them but it could be more better if they won't led gong yoo to be a zombie tooone time watch it is a good experience of zombie apocalypse and the struggle if you haven't watched it even once go for itt!!

I just finished watching Train to Busan and I can say it's a pretty good movie.Even though you may find some cliche ideas, the way the director made the movie it's really interesting. I wanted the supporting roles to have more depth, but overall the actors did a great job.
It's interesting to see how fear can change people and bring either the best or the worst in them. I think this is why the movie feels more real than others. Another plus for the movie is the evolution of the main character, Seok Woo. Even though at first he's selfish and self-centered, when his daughter's life is in danger (this is not a spoiler, you can see that even on the poster) he transforms into a courageous, selfless guy.
You get absorbed into the action from the start and it is unpredictable sometimes. It is one of the best movies I've seen in a while and I like the fact that the zombies can move fast - like running speed. This kept me on the edge of my seat a few times. At the end of the movie I kept asking myself what would I do if I were in that train - hopefully I'll never have to find out.
Even though the make-up is spot on and the actors can twist their bodies in very unnatural positions, I think the biggest minus to this movie is the CGI: sometimes it looks too 2D (I hope you'll understand this, I don't know how to put it) and it can be kind of funny. This is why you can't focus anymore on the dramatic action because you feel the urge to laugh seeing the bad CGI.
Overall I recommend this movie! I'm happy to see it's getting so much international attention ^_^

It's not hard to compare this movie to other zombie movies and fast notice the differences which makes this one stand out.
Location: most of the movie takes place on a train. The space is small and limited, which adds to the characters difficulties to adapt and survive.
Great characters: what I think is unusual in this genre is character development and a variety of fleshed out characters that makes sense. This is usually where I think most movies are lacking. I even cried watching this. Twice.
The special effects were great too.
Definitely a must watch in this genre.

One of the best zombie movies ever
In fact, this is perhaps the only Zombie movie to make me emotional. The story is easy to understand and it doesn't take much time to set up the plot. The character development is one of the best parts of this movie along with the struggle of emotions and the thrill. It has good VFX. Not the best but certainly better than average. The movie is never particularly scary but it is a thriller and a tragedy in my opinion. The ending is one of the best movie endings I have seen in a while. The pacing is really good and you can easily re watch it a lot of times without getting bored. One of the best movies ever made in the thriller/zombie genre.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
