Resenhas
Khun Chai Ronnapee is the fifth and the last part of the Suparburoot Juthatep’s series. And it was such a fine closure. The younger brother was honestly my favourite; he has this cheerful sneaky playful character that makes you love him. Therefore, I was looking forward to his story and I wasn’t failed. Chai Pee’s character was able to show its existence ever since the four previous parts; he was always there to cool the air and to play the role of the mischievous brother.
The last story included an actress as the female lead but the showbiz element wasn’t as glamorous as it was supposed to be. The love story was alright, it had many turns but it ended up going in circles at some point. The most important thing is: the chemistry was pretty much the best in the Suparburoot Juthatep series; it obviously tops the other four stories even if all of them had good chemistry.
In this part, Chai Pee’s character was able to develop from the playful little brother to the responsible lover-boy who wants to take care of the woman he loves and her family. His solder side that he showed in the latter episodes was also a good side of his character as well. It was nice to see his transformation even if it was pretty much predictable. The side love stories were also fun and cute to follow, they turned pretty cheesy at some point but they added a good flavour to the drama.
Something else added great colours to this part: the presence of the four other couples throughout. I swear that made me add the half to my overall rating; it felt so wonderful to watch the other couples helping Chai Pee and showing their love for each other. The moment the brothers stand in one room holding their wives was precious; I really wish this was shown in other parts as well. Also, the bromance was seriously and deliciously present in the last story, the way they worried, cared and cried for their younger brother was amazing. That’s why; this part gets more points.
The acting was fine as the usual formula of lakorns; James was a newbie in this series so he deserves encouragement for what he did here. His female lead was a little better than him only because Mint belongs to the industry more than him. As for characters, they were pretty much watchable; but of course you would’ve guessed by now that the second female lead was evil as her sister in Chai Pat’s story if not more. Most second female leads in Thai lakorns are so overdone with their evil tricks that it becomes unbearable after a while.
Watch if:
-You liked any of the previous parts.
-You’re looking for a great chemistry.
Do not watch if:
-You’re expecting something impressive.
Khun Chai Ronnapee was a good closure of the Suparburoot Juthatep’s series. It had great chemistry and yummy bromance.
I will surely miss the five Gentlemen of Juthatep.

YOUNGEST CHUTHATHEP WON MY HEART
●HOW I CAME TO ITI am on a run to binge this series and when the final chapter is here how can I give up. My excitement has gone par as each series until now was excellent. I had zero expectations from this series but this one is THE BEST. I watch series for Great, James Jirayu, and Pope but my heart got swept away to James Ma and Mint Chalida. I will check out their other shows.
●FIRST IMPRESSION
WOW, I am still processing the infinity level of emotions I went through while watching Khun Chai Ronapee Heart-wrenching love story. Everything was perfectly balanced melodrama, action, romance. The makers conserved the best for last. this review might get long because I am so excited to write all my thoughts.
●STORY
Khun Chai Ronapee falls for a kind-hearted actress and thus embarks on a journey to conquest his love with hurdles from family and support from his four elder brothers.
●PLOT VIEW
This series had an excellent plot, comprising all the previous series bits. Writers gave insight to the elder brothers' after story, which sometimes made me mad because I was so invested with the leads that they will have less screentime but by the end, I understood they were a necessity for plot building.
Piangkwan was an actress working on a movie named “Kinaree. just like its name Kinaree, she had eagerness, firmness, and honesty. she was hardworking but misfortune kept chasing her. talking about the entertainment industry one could think glamour but our Piangkwan belong to a simple family which builds to her side of the story. her mother's backstory built a quite intense plot which gave in Chai Pee more to show off his kind, helpful and friendly nature. He was rebelling inside and endearing outside. Khun Chai Ronapee has love at first sight, that was a beautiful scene. they both showed longing in their eyes which melted my heart. his character dynamics changed giving CHUTHATHEP series a surprising character change and story. their chemistry wasn't passionate but extraordinary which could melt anyone's heart.
Since the fourth attempt to fulfill the matrimony promise was failed the pressure was quite high on the youngest grandson but he remained direct with his grandmother that he can't spend his life with a woman he doesn't love, which showed his brave and sincere soldier attitude.
Rampha was a master manipulator, with all the strings she pulled to trick everyone. Marathee was evil but she was mentally sick. she was a rich specious person, just a bragger. It felt like being beautiful is everything in the world to them. I would actually blame their father who raised them that way. His greed mind, infested toxicity in his two daughters.
The grandmothers were hateful. They were rich people who abuse their power and defaming their own kids. Giving Chai Pee a lecture on duty because he is a soldier, excuse me he knew his responsibility very well, that's why he keeps enduring. Grandma Oon always spiteful, annoying, and cumbersome had a judgmental personality thinking of herself as an omniscient.
I pity Chai Pee, when he saw his brothers with their wives he had a happy yet wistful face. I cried during the emotional scenes saying chai brothers can you do a single thing for your maknae. all the brothers realizing how pure his love for Piangkwan is and also All the brother's wives bonding together with each other was what made this family complete. So whenever romance occurs my instincts said come on go ahead and kiss as we until now didn't have a proper kiss scene in the previous series.
Lastly, the secondary couple Khun Att and Khun Junkapoh were adorable with their bickering. Khun Yod and Khun Pim were a weak couple but thanks to Pingkwan they realized their relationship. the budding friendship of Pranot and salakjit was cute.
●ACTING/CAST
Khun Chai Ronapee (James Ma) playing an airforce pilot and the youngest of five brothers. This is his debut series and he nailed it. His tallness flaunted his pilot uniform with attitude riding a bike. He had expressive eyes that whenever he looked at her there was longing. his character grew a lot from the previous playful character to a strong-willed man who knows how to protect his country and woman.
Pinagkwan (Mint Chalida) has a resolute beauty perfect for the character. Her deep brown eyes, short hair, slender body were perfect forPiangkwan, who has a hard life but still lives with integrity.
Khun Chai Yai became a fatherly figure, at last, showing his responsibility towards his brother.
Khun Chai Pawonruj was very motivating.
Soifah showed her mighty form standing up front to Taewaprom to buzz off.
●MUSIC
What could I say about this, I was just mesmerized by the main OST by Crescendo that I didn’t skip it, but yeah I minimized the screen to avoid spoilers. It is composed of guitar, conga, and drums. This is my favorite OST from all the 5 series. All the other tracks were beautiful specifically “Make It Right” by Patee Sarasin, it felt as if this track is made for this series only. I updated my playlist with these two songs. Instrumental BGM which I ignored in others were prominent and lovely.
●REWATCH
YES YES YES, I would be watching it real soon. I just want the first impression to wear off a little bit so that I could enjoy this once again.
●APPRECIATION
PiangKwan's dance sequence was awesome, although I don’t understand Thai dance but it was a bird dance about Kinaree, a mythological character who is half human and half bird.
Although the graphics of planes were not good, the sequence shot was fantastic.
●CRITICISM
I was enjoying the story but I wanted more romance for the leads, cause everyone had the after story, why not PiangKwan and Chai pee should also have it.
●FAV SCENE
First interaction of PiangKwan and Chai Pee.
Khun Chai Ronapee calling his brother and saying he misses them.
letter writing at the airforce base
●RECOMMENDATION
If you like dramas with a strong hardworking FL, soldier ML with family drama, you could watch this series Khun Chai Ronapee.
●QUOTES
When we meet someone we like, we want to know the real person which is different from what we have seen.
Everyone sheds tears when it comes to feelings of the heart. Otherwise, they wouldn't call it love.
●WISDOM
How much good wrapping is done outside if the thing is rotten inside it will be always thrown away.
There can be a misunderstanding due to societal differences but it also signifies richness doesn't give you integrity you have to cultivate it.
●AFTERTHOUGHT
Whatever the situation is don’t give up on hard work. Hard work brings you the fruits of success.
Chuthathep should have searched for cousins in the clan to escape this marriage but it was good because those sisters didn't deserve to be in the royal family.
