Blue Boys Pt.2 Thoughts
{Blue Boys }I gave this show a second try (I only watched Pt.1). It’s been months since the second part got released and I spent $10 on the membership just to enjoy the full thing and take it all in. IDK why I did it, I just got the urge to (I need help).
My Thoughts On Blue Boys Pt.1
It’s honestly not much different with the membership, yes you get to see them kiss for longer periods of time and it’s more heart throbbing but the plot is lacking so much in so many ways that having them kiss for a minute longer doesn’t do much of a difference in enjoyment. I can say confidently that if this show had ended with only Pt.1 I would’ve rated it super low. Now as I write this review I haven’t watched Pt.2, so I can’t speak much about the overall rating and how much I enjoyed overall. But so far based on Pt.1, with uncut scenes, my rating is 7. I rated it a 6.5 before when it had come out but I think the longer scenes definitely make the ratings go a bit higher but not too high. So 7 is a perfect score for this part.
My Thoughts On Blue Boys Pt.2
This part was definitely more lively than Pt.1, but somehow I am now shipping Choi Jae Min with Tae Ha, idk they seemed like they could be a cuter couple. But regardless I glad this show had a happy ending, this part didn’t have much even with the uncut so that was a bit disappointing but it’s fine. I rate this one a 7 too, still lacking a lot and could have been better. I feel like they had the chance to do more with this part but kept it very mediocre and lowkey. It was ok.

A very healing drama
When you need a healing drama go for this cause it’s so relatable and the casting are the best. I’ve rewatched the movie more than 4 times and I’m still loving it. It gives all forms of emotions which makes it stand out from the rest. I love each character in the drama cause they all give in their best. Also guys don’t forget to watch the bts and interviews of this drama, if you do you will be hooked like I am 😂🫶❤️Esta resenha foi útil para você?
"What if I insist on forcing fate?"
It's been a while that I'm writing a review and that too for a short drama. This drama had it's own pros and cons but at times you tend to neglect the cons.
I for some reason loved the leads in this drama that I let go off the cons.
The story of this drama was somewhat not entirely a repetition of the usual mini dramas, and I felt like going on after each episode.
The pacing for me was perfect, the director didn't drag anything in the drama.
The romance is not what one might expect from a mini drama with a romance tag as usually they tend to have a lot but this for me had the perfect amount.
The story itself didn't only focus on showing scenes of the leads but rather many characters are shown in this which is a bit unique.
The visuals of the leads together were perfect if you were to ask me.
OST was really really good. Not just the tune and all but when you read the lyrics too you tend to feel good since the song is beautifully written.
Since it's a mini drama I won't write much but overall its definitely worth a try.
This is just my personal opinion but this drama feels like it is the type where if you like it you end up quite liking it otherwise you wont at all. There seems to be no middle ground where you might just give it a pass.
Despite the below 7.5 rating that it is now currently, I feel it's still worth watching.
P.S. Feel free to tag me or message me if you want spoilers as I tend to avoid giving spoilers in my reviews.

Nice story, cute, funny sweet too
This mini drama can heal all dissappointment on many new dramas those are currently airing but giving a hanging or very bad endings.I watched it not only smile but also laugh and love this drama with its actors and actress a lot, even the villains still having good things for its charactere.
The ending is clear, even informed completely, the closing is made not in harsh like many dramas now. Basically I can everytime choose to watch it back, rather than leaving myself getting upset after watching other dramas which making me so unfullfilled unlike this drama A FLOWER ON THE CONTINENT 💖

Welcome to the darkest story of CP
'Mate The Series' has been adapted from the novel Mate by Chao Planoy. The story follows complex themes, transitioning from friendship to love while spotlighting LGBTQIA+ characters and their emotional struggles. Unlike typical romance tales, Mate carries a darker tone, weaving elements of murder, sexual abuse, toxic relationships, and abandonment into its narrative. It's a story where the protagonists evoke mixed feelings—both admiration and frustration—adding depth and moral ambiguity to their characters.Apparently it's the darkest of Planoy's novels. For the novel, with its intense and twisted storyline, Mate presents a challenging but gripping read. If the series faithfully captures the novel's intricate and provocative essence, it has the potential to become a standout hit in Thai GL adaptations. Only 2 episodes have been released so far and they are okay till date.
The casting choices, featuring Grace Budsarin Wonglelanont and Oaey Ponchanok Theerawan, are promising. These actors bring fresh energy to the narrative, which could enhance the story’s emotional depth. The narrative's exploration of vulnerability and emotional connections provides a strong foundation for impactful storytelling that transcends its GL identity, making it relatable to a wider audience.
Without giving too much away, Mate centers on two contrasting leads: Kenlong (often called Gen), the wealthy and seemingly aloof "ice queen," and Oengoei (nicknamed Aoey), a kind-hearted but underprivileged woman with a deeply traumatic past. Gen, initially skeptical of a fortune teller’s prophecy that she’d fall for a woman, finds herself unexpectedly drawn to a female, Aoey, her long-lost childhood friend from elementary school.Aoey is sensitive to touch since childhood due to her traumatised past of sexual abuse by her stepfather, and also her mother is her adoptive mom who never cared for her. Aoey, for some mysterious reason, gets closer to Gen, and Aoey Only likes when Gen touches Her. That's how we understand Aoey is into Gen. Gen also falls for Aoey, she tries her best to not to show her emotion and desire to Aoey but one day, she loses to Aoey and more hideous incidents take place.
Aoey's past unfolds gradually, revealing hardships that shape her vulnerability. While Gen is portrayed as cold and detached at first, her softer, more compassionate side becomes apparent as their relationship progresses. The dynamic between them balances emotional tension and growth, with Gen's transformation being a key aspect of their connection.
If you've read the novel, Mate, you already know how toxic and manipulative Gen can be and how deeply complicated and sensitive Aoey is. But that's the beauty of it—their flaws and emotional turmoil make them profoundly human. Also, the love they have is not a healthy one. Anyways, their imperfections drive the story, making it relatable despite its dark and twisted themes. Even if you haven’t read Mate and aren’t planning to, that’s perfectly fine—just follow Mate The Series, and the story will naturally unfold as you go along.Let the series surprise you—it’s all part of the journey!
Happy watching!

Became a fan of “7 Devils of Shi Lan Ke!”
It was soo good dude! I enjoyed the whole thing in one go and have to say, that it’s too good!I always like this types of team work related drama where a group of brat's friendship will be shown! I liked every single characters including Hu Lie Na. She was evil but still her look made me crazy!

Zhu Zhu Qing was quite a serious character with a warm heart.❤️ Ou Si Ke was the funniest!🤣 Ning Rong Rong is like a angry bird all the time but cute though🤭 Ma Hong Jun was the youngest yet with full of potential. Realistically well made drama - The Drak Side of BEHIND CAMERA lives !
In South Korea - The Percentage of runaway kids 55.5% of adolescents run away from home between the ages of 13 and 15, and the number of runaways among elementary school students is increasing. Before going to start about my views on this drama, I want to share some real-life events behind this drama and its core story. We have to know how much they worked hard to bring this drama to us. And the main point is that it's always a heavy challenge and risky work to blend the real-life events in a movie or drama.
All the information and source were collected from the Naver News & Director Interview.
1) The story was based on the book Made in Gangnam by Jo Won-Gyu, and he is the screenwriter of this drama.
2) Ji Chang-wook's Yoon Gil Ho character role was inspired by the 17-year-old boy. The screenwriter met him while he was working as the call driver.
3) Ep 5-6 faced problems from some high people in SK because it was real.
Now, let's see about the drama.
I'm one of them who has been waiting for this drama day and night from the day they announced the cast; one of the main leads is Ji Chang-wook, and it was based on the real-life events from the book Made in Gangnam. I tried to read that book or tried to purchase it, but unfortunately it was not available in my region, so I have only one option: to wait for the release.
Drama Released:-
It was a perfect, realistically well-made drama. From the very first episode, drama clearly shows what is going to happen. It's not a mystery thriller for many plot twists. Characters are introduced one after one at the right time where the story needs them, and the characters depth is also good with a clearer motive. Yes, this is a complex story to deal with because we don't have one main protagonist here; everyone is fighting for their lives and trying to protect their loved ones. The story reveals equally about the main characters. Some watchers said in comments, "It was so confusing from the first." Let me give the answer to this one; we have the clear synopsis to understand the story. TBH, it wasn't that hard to understand what's going on there when the characters are running and protecting their lives.
Main Theme and My Personal View :- 10/10
Drama really showed the dark side of club culture in South Korea and the secret lives of some celebrities behind the cameras. The originality of the drama is the dark side of celebrities and the corruption in the government officials in South Korea and lives of run away kids and club women director Park Noo-Ri succeeded to maintain the same originality from the first to last episode with continuous thrilling, chasing and heartbroken moments and keeping story engaging with action scenes & lil bit non rom aspect. I really appreciate how the director & writer presented the core story of the drama aspects: drugs, violence, runway kids lives, celebrities & Idols drak side lives.
According to an official website, the runway kids percentage is "55.5% of adolescents run away from home between the ages of 13 and 15," and the number of runaways among elementary school students is increasing. This is one of the major issues that South Korea is facing. The director and writer tried to show us something or a small part of that runaway lives - like how they're living, how the behind camera society using them. But some people who watched this drama are saying it's a bad drama, bad acting, and everything is bad! I don't understand why you're not ready to receive a drama that contains or deals with contemporary issues. I'm not saying everyone must like this drama; everyone has their preferences, but this is the serious problem: when some of the viewers don't like it, they start behaving like real critics or something, giving negative comments. Appreciate something before you're going to criticize something; that's the basic point of the critic, if you want.
Cinematography - Sound Track: 9/10
Cinematography is great, with the lighting and coloring bringing the originality of every place of filming location. An appreciation to the cinematography and lighting crew. Sound composer: Hwang Sang Jun is one of the top music composers in South Korea; he has given another adrenaline soundtrack; the opening theme is one of the best in kdrama; his tracks in this drama are wonderful; they played a crucial role in presenting any scene as a good one with perfect music.
Acting :- 10/10
Ji Chang-wook is the face card of Gangnam B Side. His acting is versatile; within the 1 year span, he acted in 5 different character roles; not everyone can do it easily like he did. His acting as Yoon Gil Ho is powerful and dominating screen presence. His completely changed his makeover for his role; that's a really awesome and badass look. The Cage action is really one of the best experiences in kdrama. His emotional acting is so deeply moving and great that everyone watching must feel his emotions. In the era where the main actors are doing the central roles of dramas, Ji Chang-wook is really taking challenges, moving from the main protagonist to one of the main protagonists in his prime. As a fan of him, I'm very proud of him and his challenges, like not going to the same cliche, same troop dramas. I want my actor to do challenges, so please be within limits while judging his script choices. If you are not interested, please move on and don't make fuss over his choices and challenges here or anywhere in the name of a kdrama lover. The OG kdrama fans always like K-actors, whatever they choose to act. Sorry, I took a long time here.
Jo Woo-Jin's role is equal to JCW ones; these two acted previously in a movie but in opposite roles, but here we can experience a slight bromance between them. Jo Woo-Jin is acting also powerfully as a detective and emotionally as a father. One of the versatile actors we have in kdrama.
Female actors Bibi and Ha Yoo-Kyung performances are notable; at some point Han Yoo-Kyung's prosecutor role gets annoyed, but we can't do anything to watch. I love Ha Yoo-Kyung and her makeover as a prosecutor; she definitely will become one of the best actresses in the coming days. Bibi, this is her 3rd work; she acted very well and brought life to the Jae Hee role.
The supporting cast gave their best to make drama more intense to watch. Special appreciation to the actor Jung Ga-Ram; his acting as idol Noh Jun-seo is really something I felt to get angry after a long time. Whenever the antagonist made the viewer angry with his acting, he did justice to his role. His crazy smile and psychotic scenes are the best example that he's the potential upcoming actor. I wish he'd get more chances.
Last Talk:-
Sorry, I wrote it very long. But I expressed what I experienced from the drama. As previously said, I'm a fan of Ji Chang-wook; I always watch' his works with an open mind like every kdrama fan does. So, don't color me with bias here just because our preferences and standards don't meet. Just watch every drama with open eyes and enjoy it. As for Gangnam B Side, it's your time-worthy and single-seat drama with perfect binge watchable for everyone without genre-biased fans.
While some scenes are violent, just skip them if anyone doesn't like them. But reading every comment makes you confused about whether to watch it or not. Remember this typical drama so rare to produce So, just go watch and enjoy experiencing it yourself.
about ending you have to experience it yourself :)

Hot damn! Heart break! The actress for mother/grandmother did an amazing job. Her stift yet swiftness was portrayed beautifully. Love her character and or the actress!
Female lead:
Can't blame her for being ignorant. She grew up in a time where there is no internet. Rich girl like that stayed at home and followed old traditional ways of training to be a good wife, obedient and quiet woman. Her entire household was murdered in front of her, her only surviving half sister betrayed her. You can't blame her for being suspicsious of the first threatening thing and person, especially experiencing such trauma. To fall for the nice people who give you warmth and kindness. Actress has a nice voice (even if it is dubbed).
Male lead:
Him being a normal doting guy with the NOT FL made him uninteresting and boring. He's eye candy, because he's got that dominant alpha macho arrogance that we all hate to admit we love. Hate and Love. Love to hate and hate to love. Also kinda masochist-ish. OR just an easy target for stabs and shots (Starwars troopers CAN'T MISS him).
I'm surprised that the uncle got everything and first pick before the nephew. I thought Chinese always give all the good stuff to the youngest boy first or eldest boy of the youngest generation. ... Because they will carry on the Last name. In this case they gave all the good stuff to the 2nd son/uncle?! The young ones are always spoiled because they get special treatment and such. At least from my asian (chinese) family.

Break up and let go ep 6.5
It seems a bit confusing especially since there is now two new ppl one of them being a baby (asian) Oscar. Although Gao Shi De could be the father seeing it stated he was gone for 2 years instead of the 2 months he stated he would be gone. I don't feel like the baby is his. There is a small scene in which you see medical bills and him seeming stressed as he is messaging Zhou Shu Yi. Later you see Zhou Shu Yi with luggage walking upon a path only to find his lover a baby and with a woman. He makes the assumption they're together and Gao Shi De has a new life with said woman & child. This mindset of Zhou Shu Yi he leaves without being seen & without question ghosts Gao Shi De. Gao Shi De makes the decision to go back to meet Zhou Shu Yi at least once. Thus setting us up for season two (fighting with no 2)Esta resenha foi útil para você?
Excellent drama, that stole my heart and my tears.
[no spoilers] This is the first BL drama i have ever watched and though I identify as a straight female, I' ve always had an open mind about queer/LGBTQ in real life.So I gave it a try... also partly urged to watch because of Gyuho and Goyoung's clips on X/Twitter that went around haha.
WHOLE- HEARTEDLY, I can say watching this series was the best decision I made lately ... I think I got to witness the life of those who may relate to Goyoung's character in real life... Not many dramas/movies have made me cry in my life but Gyuho and Goyoung's story in Episodes 5-8 especially made me break down pretty badly in tears several times out of sympathy? sorrow? I also got super butterflies watching their relationship during the good too though so not all was lost 😄 I felt everything in this dramas honestly...
Would highly recommend to try this series! Amazing cast, acting, writing and production in my opinion! This work really touched on the reality of life deeply in several ways too... even ones that anyone could relate too... the life of ordinary people and love... So just prepare a tissue box! rating it 1000/10!
(ps. I wish Nam Yoonsu and Jin Hoeun get another project together again or season 2 because they had nice chemistry :))

Genuinely Surprised....definitely worth the watch...
This ended up much longer than I planned, I am sorry for that. I don't normally write a review on the shows I watch. No matter how good or bad it was. But after reading all the negative comments and even some negative comments in reviews, I decided to sit down and watch it. I'm someone who has a hard time focusing, and Thai dramas (any Asian drama really) give me the chance to fall into another world and ignore the real life around me for a bit. It brings me back to calmer state of mind. From episode 1 to episode 12 I couldn't walk away. Feel free to skip to Paragraph 4 which begins my actual review. And please remember, this is MY opinion, I don't expect many to agree with it.I can understand where people are coming from with the negative comments about this show. Yes, there was some cringy and just plain cheesy dialogue, yes, there were parts that didn't make any sense, I do tend to find myself asking "why?" and "wtf?" multiple times while watching any Asian drama.
I've learned over my few years of watching Thai dramas as well as any Asian drama. What I as an American see as cringy, cheesy, inappropriate, embarrassing, and just plan horrendous writing, not all Asians do. Our ways of life are different. So naturally we have things that Asians may find embarrassing, inappropriate, cheesy, and cringy as well.
I've learned to watch Thai dramas with a different mindset than I do American tv (on the rare occasion I watch it). Therefore, though I find myself covering my eyes, feeling embarrassed and just laughing at the ridiculousness of certain things, I've accepted it's just a part of THEIR culture and writing.
We also have to remember, this is Domundi. Not GMMTV, not Change 2561, Not Idol Factory, Not Me Mind Y.
So why compare them? Naturally what's written, directed, and produced, IS going to be different. Domundi delivered what is considered their...style? genre? Everyone says Tutor and Yim get Zee and NuNew's scrapes or the scripts they didn't want. But even Zee and NuNew's series are of the same quality. I find myself cringy at certain dialogues and scenes with them. Same for any Thai drama I've watched. Thai writers are different to what we're used to, so why bash so much?
If you've made it this far, I appreciate it, I will now share my actually review of the show.
In my own personal opinion, this is absolutely by far Tutor and Yim's BEST performance. I love Tutor and Yim, they are amazing together and have amazing chemistry. I personally didn't like The Middleman's Love. Something just didn't seem right with them playing those parts. Don't get me wrong, it was obvious they showed up and put in the work to bring the characters to life. It was obvious those characters just weren't for them and that's exactly it. They were not the original pair for those roles. It's no ones fault, life happens. And I can appreciate the director giving Tutor and Yim the chance and opportunity to Lead.
I can say I had moments during my viewing of Battle of the Writers, that I did try to picture a different pair playing Shan and Ob-aun, and I just couldn't. It didn't matter how ridiculous the line may have been. It didn't matter how cringy worthy the situation, Tutor and Yim gave their best. They showed the world they are ready and capable of more serious stories. I still cannot get over Tutors ability to speak with his eyes. He reminds me of V from BTS with his ability to use his eyes to capture one's attention. Yim did incredible, I don't know how to describe it, though his character showed moments of immaturity, he didn't full on whine like many characters do. He was able to get his emotions and feelings across with just a look. His eyes are his windows. He expressed his emotions in a way that made me feel what he was feeling.
And oh lordy, I wasn't too sure what the plan was for the NC scenes, but can I just say Tutor and Yim DELIVERED!!! There was no shyness. There was no hesitation. They. Went. For. It. I had moments where I felt like maybe I was intruding. This series shows these years they have spent together have been filled with building trust and comfort. They have cultivated their chemistry to bring an amazing performance. I cannot wait to see what they do next.
Lastly, can I just share my appreciation and excitement over seeing Mark with a partner? I have never cared if he was paired with a woman or a man, but anything I've seen him in he's either single, or he's in a relationship, but the other party is never shown. I just want to hug him and tell him he is loved and appreciated so much. So, seeing him interacting and having a relationship on screen just tickles me so much. I love Mark, I don't know what it is, but from the first time I saw him on screen, he's become my major bias. He did excellent work in this drama. That man's bedroom eyes are something else too.

Strong ML and FL, a pretty haters to lovers, I absolutely loved i!
I started this drama without many expectations and ended up falling in love with Shen Du haha, I loved how it showed the main plots of the story from the beginning, and the cases throughout the drama too, which brought us closer to the main couple and still managed to be almost all connected to the main plot of the villain, not straying too far from the story.I doubted almost everyone a lot at the beginning lol, but I already suspected who the real villain was, I won't say it here because this is a spoiler-free review, but the way the secondary characters got involved, the plots of the castle and the empress, everything was very well presented, in fact this is one of the few dramas in which I like the empress/emperor haha.
Shen Du seemed cold and closed off at first, but the way the story gradually showed his relationship with the female lead was perfect. He didn't just hate her today and wake up loving her the next day. The relationship gradually developed, as did their feelings. I loved the scenes of him being jealous but not admitting it, lol. Especially after they fell in love and admitted it. Aaaah, I fell in love. He was so protective of her. They were a wonderful and intelligent couple, also working together on cases.
I won't say much about Lai Luo, but I simply hated him from his first appearance. The guy managed to be unbearable, annoying, arrogant, paranoid, everything bad. I was angry with him from the beginning to the end, lol.
A really great drama, I really recommend it.

Not your average CDrama
First off, the cinematography is off the chain. The story stays true to its intention, to highlight the jewelry business and silk road trade during the Tang Dynasty. The story could have gone the safe route but no, they've shown how cruel the world can be at times. The journey from slave to business owner was gradual and believable with occasional pitfalls along the way. This shows that there is opportunity for growth and success as long as you continue to strive for it. Although there is romance (chemistry is fire), there is also a focus on friendship and family. TSOPG is not your usual drama but worth the watch. See for yourself & start an amazing journey with Duan Wu, Yan Zi Jing & the rest of the cast.Esta resenha foi útil para você?
