This was my first kdrama, and is an excellent drama. Most of the time you'll cry with this, but you'll laugh and you'll think, is a drama that makes you "wonder", you're always thinking with "what if....". There are so many posibilities for every character, not only the main ones but the suporting characters have a bunch of posibilites, you can almost think about the perfect ending for them and a million more. The acting is just amazing. You won't regret it.

Ming Dao is a good actor but I rly don't like the pouty bs that he pulled at the beginning of the drama. I am glad that by the end of the drama he was more adult like & changed to be more responsible. I could not stand the character Wang Si Ping played. I get so tired of attention seeking behavior that some girls show in these drama's. I get so tired of whiny, spoiled, brats that r always trying to get what they want through underhanded means. So selfish.

Newayz! The story was decent and the acting was ok. I rly did not pay attention to the music, but I nvr do unless it is amazing.

This was a good drama. It isn't an amazing drama that I will always remember, but I liked it enough to finish it.

This is one of my favorite dramas of all time. I am pretty terrible at rewatching things but this is one I liked so much that I would not mind.
In short, please watch this. You will not regret it. The storyline is interesting, the characters are amazing, the ost is great, the chemistry is off the charts, it will make you laugh, cry, worry and cheer and fall in love not only with the main characters, but everyone around them. Highly recommend.

If you just read the blurb you might just go: Blah! small town and politics, how boring!. But that is not the case. This drama has it all. It's funny, mysterious, heart tugging, etc. The acting is outstanding. SunAh is one of my favorite Korean Actresses. She is uninhibited when she is goofy and amazing when she goes all emo. I cry and laugh according to how she is playing her role. And *sigh* Cha Seung Wok, how do I love thee?. I really don't know what it is about this man, but I really, really like him. This character fit him like a glove.

Anyhow, I, like many people who have watched this drama, wondered which direction it was taking for the first 6 episodes. It's not that they were not enjoyable or confusing, but they were not really congruous and cohesive. Mostly they were funny and still worth watching but after that, the story just takes off in a level beyond anyone watching those first episodes could have imagined. And it is from that episode on, that makes this drama go from ha! good to wow! incredible.

This drama is basically about two people that unknowingly really do become stronger and better from knowing each other. This, I feel is really an adult drama. Not only does it have THE BEST KISSING SCENE EVER! (I challenge you to find me a better one in a K-drama) but in the way this couple interact with each other, the other characters and the situations presented are very real in my opinion. The growth the characters show from beginning to end is one of my favorite things. When their personalities and essence does not necessarily change in a 360 way, but instead they find in each what the other one lacks. The weakness of one becomes the other's strength and they both learn from each other and in this way become better.

Yes, it is based on politics (it is called city hall for a reason.) but I just found that it was just like other dramas based in hospitals or what have you. The politics are there, but they are there to compliment the story and present the challenges, but it is how they move within this environment that is really interesting. It worked for me.

Everything is cliché. Car crashes, the evil mother, amnesia... Though, 'Boys before flowers' is STILL WORTH WATCHING!

I'd like to say that this series is the mother of cliché dramas. It lays the foundation for others to step on. That is why, you should really give it a try.

The acting is brilliant, for one. Especially with the talent Lee Min Ho has in his role as the plutocrat Joon Pyo.

Actually, all are pretty wonderful actors. The only thing that brings them down is the story, which sometimes travels too fast, and sometimes too slow. Some moments leaves me wondering if a scene was cut out in editing, as if a piece of information is missing, which only confused me.

Also, this series is full of fillers, it seems. Scenes that were made only to make the episodes longer. You know almost nothing about the character Woo Bin, until very late, whereas it seems the director suddenly though "Oh wait! We forgot about him! Let's give him ten minutes of glory!"

Ah. But now... for the positive. Why the re-watch value is still pretty high. This is because of the relationships.

The so very great triangle drama between the three lead roles, is so perfect the viewer will most likely develop feelings for all three. You will be torn from side to side, wishing Geum JanDi will end up with both of the two boys.

Though, the beauty of it all, really comes from the subplot with JanDi's friend, GaEul, and the other F4 member, Yi Jeong. Their bond with eachother is one of the best I've ever seen, in any drama. Them getting closer, to the revealing of his past, and the heart breaking scenes coming from that, is my favorite moments of all.
The word is over-used, but I really mean it; their relationship is PERFECT. And shone more than even the lead roles.

My heart is still pounding for those two.

Boys Before/over Flowers is not something you should watch as entertainment only. You should watch it as something you'll learn from, as it really is a "parent" for all other dramas. It's "basic education" to have seen it. And you will not regret it. Ever.

'You're Beautiful' has everything a first-time drama watcher should see. Interesting characters and an interesting story.

The relationship between Shin Woo, Go Mi Nam (Nyu) and Tae Kyung is perfectly depicted. The actors are outstanding, though Go Mi Nam's character is too cliché, sometimes.

So the only thing missing in the story, with the excellent mixture of subplots and overall synopsis, is that it sometimes gets too... obvious. Because Go Mi Nam's character is so very basic, you can tell what she's going to do.

What kept me watching these series is the three original members of their fictional band, A.N.Jell. I am probably not the only one who developed a motherly feeling towards them all.

Jang Geun Suk who plays Tae Kyung really doubled the score, though. To see him actually smile, was a golden moment. That is what you should look for in this. Tae Kyung's marvelous transformation from a cold bad-asser to a... cute, hurt boy. Him growing up alongside more and more information that gets revealed about his past, the viewer will from the very start feel for him.

You're Beautiful is something you should really watch if you'd like to see a top notch actor in action. Jang Geun Suk is magical.

"Long Vacation" is the oldest Jdrama I've watched recently. Older dramas don't usually appeal to me anymore, but its premise seemed interesting so I gave it a try. I must say that despite its age, I quite liked it.

What you might like about it: If you're into stories about an unlikely couple who ends up living together and falling for each other, then you might enjoy this.
The story is rather light and easy to watch. Also, unlike other dramas, this one doesn't drag much.

What might put you off: The female lead is not very likable that it takes a while before you get used to her. The main lead, on the other hand, is quite charming. Frankly, they don’t have much chemistry; however, once you’ve accepted that they’ve actually gotten attracted to each other, you’ll enjoy the events that follow. Another thing that I was not impressed about this drama is the soundtrack. There’s this one song that they play over and over which sometimes does not even fit the scene; it gets irritating after a while.

Overall, this drama is fairly delightful and not quite inferior to romantic comedies that came out more recently. The ending is also sweet and satisfying.

Buzzer Beat is a really entertaining sports/romance drama.

I especially enjoy a drama where the love builds unexpectedly between the lead couple. What I also liked about this drama is that even though there is necessary conflict and a bit of angst between them for drama's sake, they come to the realization of their feelings quickly and that kept me interested. Their chemistry was great and their scenes together so satisfying.

The writing is good. I liked the story trajectory for the main characters. The 11 episodes go by fast. The supporting cast was also fun. Riko's roommate Mei was a standout for me. She was so sassy and blunt. I loved her character.

Yamapi was good. He is one handsome bloke but I liked his acting in Nobuta wo Produce and he didn't disappoint me here either. In watching Kurosagi, I have decided I like when he plays quirky characters a bit more than when he plays a straight lead.

The soundtrack wasn't as standout as other Jdramas I've watched but I did love the opening song and the Beetles and Stones songs in the background.

I give the re-watch value a 9 because this was a very fun watch. I really liked the romance and the friendship of the OTP. Like the Jdrama Pride, this is set in the sports world but there is a great balance of both basketball, character study and romance.

I recommend this drama highly. It's a fast, enjoyable watch. Sweet, romantic and it has something for everyone.

I just finished watching this near midnight and I don't want to put away writing this until the morning. What I'm feeling now demands to be written down.

I don't think I've watched any drama until now that felt so absolutely pointless at the end of it. That doesn't mean that everything was great until the end though.

First of all, it was real slow. Throughout most of the episodes, there isn't anything much happening than characters wallowing in emotions or doing what they do without any background score.
There was no getting used to it, you just had to bear with it. Mostly you bore with it because, while the screenplay inched along and something finally happened, the actors emoted well and those scenes were good.

Also, I can say with certainty, if it were not for my liking both Mike He and Ariel Lin, I wouldn't have made it even halfway through.

And, Then there is the ending..
After you sit through it all, the way they choose to end it is nothing but absurd. I didn't fully watch the last two episodes. There was no point to continuing with the torturous-ly slow process when the only reasons for watching the show took a beating.

That's all I can put into words now. The only reason any one can have of watching this,in my opinion, is if they like the lead actors, because it's a tough ride even then.

Based on the bestselling novel of 2008 ‘Kokuhaku’ by Kanae Minato, ‘Confessions’ is a dark, gripping psychological tale that is sure to keep you on your toes.
The movie starts off rather slow with Yoko Moriguchi (Takako Matsu), a middle school teacher, delivering a farewell speech to her students, declaring the day to be her last day at school. Her students, however, seem to be less concerned and engage themselves in gossips, arguments, texting and other activities. Moriguchi nonetheless continues with her speech, recounting her past— her affair with a teacher, how he contracted AIDS and passed away, her pregnancy, her decision to live as a single mother, and the tragic death of her dear daughter. It is only when she reveals something shattering that she manages to catch the attention of her students, leaving them gaping and utterly shocked. She tells them that she believes her daughter’s death was not just a mere accident as claimed by the police but rather a murder, and that the murderers are present in the very class among them. What’s more, she notifies them that she had injected HIV tainted blood into the milk that the murderers, her very own students, whom she has labeled as A and B previously drank. And this shocking declaration is enough to send chaos across the class, leaving A and B extremely panicky and terrified.

From the very beginning, this movie creates a mystifying atmosphere which gives us, the viewers, the hint of something very big and unpredictable lying ahead. And then as the story unfolds, we are taken to the world of the victims of the revenge and those related to them, and get a clear cut picture of the respective motives which drove A and B to commit something as dreadful as murder. The movie also depicts human emotions such as angst, fear, loneliness, hysteria, pride and horror in a very realistic manner and a very few movies achieve that, we all know.
Now coming to the cast, I’m speechless. Takako Matsu just blew me away with her superb acting. She played her role brilliantly, and now it’s difficult for me to imagine some other actress performing in her place as the character ‘Yoko Moriguchi’. I am looking forward to watching more movies starring her. The supporting characters also had done an amazing job. Each of them really got into their respective character.
They say what you see depends on what you’re looking for. I was looking for nothing much to begin with but the visuals blew me away. The visuals are what makes this movie effective and dynamic. Watch the movie and you will know what I mean.
Speaking of the OST, it is good. It is not something revolutionary but that’s all right. I don’t remember any particular song or music except the one that played in the beginning.

All in all, ‘Confessions’ is a brilliant piece of psychological thrill with a tinge of tragedy and drama. You ought to grab this one if you like psychological thrillers, and even if you don’t and want to have a taste of them, you may begin with this one.

This is hands down my favorite Taiwanese Drama and maybe one of my favorite Asian Drama overall. From episode 1 I felt like this drama was laced with crack and my favorite cup of coffee. I was hooked and could not stop watching. I was sad when it was over, although it has an ending I really liked.

I'm relatively new to K- and T-Dramas, but I've been watching Telenovelas all my life, so at times I feel jaded of the topics and cliches that are shown. This drama did not make think about anything else but what I was watching. I was so into it, I was not thinking things like: When is this arc going to be over? Why are they dragging this so much?. It seems they had a firm hold on what they wanted to express from beginning to end.

This drama varies from many, as the Heroine of the story seems to be more "alpha" in personality than the male. The growth shown by her character and the way this actress portrayed it, was outstanding. I was at first hesitant about the acting by VanNess Wu, he seemed overpowered physically and performance wise by the main actress, but in a way this suited the characters so well, that it made it even more believable.

I liked that you get your "grew up in an orphanage" heroine, who instead of growing up to become the maid of a big hotel and a giving soul; becomes a strong, self centered, materialistic person who works hard for what she wants. Even if these things are brand named clothes and diamonds. Unlike most dramas this heroine is not the one spreading love and rainbows of happiness wherever she goes. She has a lot to learn about love and life, but has had no one to teach her. Nor has she been willing to learn.
In juxtaposition, our Hero is the one who is gentle and idealistic.
I liked the side characters and that the second female was not some mean girl who was going to take the man she wanted regardless of his feelings. The greatest hurdles that our characters went through were self created. Wounds that had to be healed. The main villain in our heroine's life was herself. I LOVED the characters of Peter and later on Moses.

The Parisian backdrop, the clothes and jewelry shown were amazing. It really did help to take me in and suck me into the world presented even more. The music was so beautiful and right when presented. It did not overpower and only aided to express what was going on in the scenes. This drama makes you fall for the sounds of the violin and makes you want to listen to what else is out there with this instrument. I even liked the opening score.

In short I really, thoroughly enjoyed this drama. Was it perfect? I don't know. I was too tunneled visioned while I was watching. I was buying EVERYTHING they were showing in an AS IS manner. To me, that is the best compliment I can give any sort of movie, book or drama. If the point of watching is to let go of your own reality for a few moments, this drama did it for me in a way I was more than willing to just go along. This drama really feels like a brand name, luxury item. I highly recommend it.

It's a story well told.

The beginning of the story got me engaged and instantly gave the premise that it's a fantasy movie, following the lives of the poor little girl who exchanged her fate for a piece of bread and the man who could turn back time but could not remember his past.

It's a delight to watch, if you're the type who likes romance wrapped in a mysterious fantasy-action story that unfolds bit by bit. The scenes are shot against a cinematic background (makes you recall those Chinese paintings in color and detail)and they flow seamlessly one after the other.

The story develops as the characters reveal their true selves and strangely, I found myself sympathizing more for the man in the mysterious feathery black coat and scarred white face. In the end, he helps Kun Lun to remember his past and sacrifice himself for their kind's last hope.

Story - an outstanding 10 in my book
Cast - Stellar cast:
Liu Ye - as the scarred and damaged Snow Wolf
Hiroyuki Sanada as the warrior-general in the sun helmet
Jang Dong Gun - as the Princess' hero, Kun Lun (I didn't even know this ahjusshi was from S. Korea)

Music - this is a Chinese movie, of course it's a 10
Rewatch value - I watched it for like 4 times and had to restrain myself from watching it again. Darn why did it have to end so soon!

Hm, what was it? Music? Story? Cast? Ah, what was it?! Something...fell short during the movie. For some reason I didn't get emotionally attached to the characters, which is odd for a romance movie. Usually you root for the characters and cry when they cry and laugh when they laugh. However that didn't happen here. I wish I could figure out why! Overall the acting was amazing, the story was decent (though it did drag from time to time), and the music was unremarkable. To be completely honest I don't recommend this movie. I feel like I wasted 2 hours of my day. Oh well. It was worth a shot.

Ok, this movie is WOW! I just finished it and the one thing this movie does is keep you guessing. Did he do it? Did he not? Is he innocent? Is he guilty? Is he just a poor man caught in one giant conspiracy or is he a serial killer?

Jang Hyuk shines in this role. For anyone (me) who thought he was a one trick pony after TWDR and Chuno (since he plays very similar people) think again! He really works this role and boy does he sell it. He makes all the parts that should be just ok truly eerie after you finish it. I guarantee after you finish you will see the movie in a whole new light.

The lawyer and the prosecutor... they have an amazing dynamic. The only real problem I have with this movie was that I could not tell the two apart! It drove me nuts.

As for the music... I never noticed it and that is a very good thing but, at the same time.... I like knowing it is there. Do not pass this up. The only reason I rated it down a bit was for some quirky shooting...

This is a very cute and interesting drama. Even if the premise of the drama sounds a bit weird when you hear it, the drama charms your heart as you start watching it.
The plot is very well written. There were hardly any places where anything felt absurd or artificial. The story along with the characters falls into place right from the start.

Matsumoto Jun as Momo is completely lovable and walks right into your heart as the boy who is a pet. Kato Koyuki is just perfect in the role of the girl who becomes the 'master' of the pet.

I think what made this drama work is the well rounded-ness of the characters. We come to understand the workings of every person- why and how they are the way they are. There aren't any purely negative characters, rather we are all people with imperfections of our own.

It's beautiful and endearing to see the relationship between Iwaya and Momo grow as they find comfort in each other. Their journey from 'master and pet' to where they openly accept their love for each other unmindful of anything else between them is great to watch.

Me 2 Flower was both funny and dramatic. I watched the first 10 episodes but then skipped to the last episode. Not that the story was bad or anything but I didn’t want to waste any more time on a drama I wasn’t fully invested in. Also, the story is nothing new but its good enough for anyone who is looking for something they wont get bored by. The ending was simple and tied up everyone’s storyline.

The acting was very good by everyone especially the leads. Yoon Shi Yoon really has improved from Baker King. I really liked that his character was actually nice and innocent which is a switch from our regular arrogant male leads. Lee Ji Ah played her character very well but I never came to like her character, which is probably the reason I didn’t love the show. I liked the supporting characters they added some fun.

The OST was really good. Ill be sure to put most of the songs on my ipod to listen to=)

This drama is rewatchable but I'm not interested in watching again cause I didn't like the main female character at all!

Overall this is just another predictable watch to pass the time.
