Both of these are medical dramas in which the main leads suffer from a trauma they must overcome. They are both romantic drama however in the case of soul mechanic the doctor the love interest is a patient.

In My Holo Love, the FL struggles to see faces due to a traumatic event which takes place as a child. She comes to encounter an AI named Holo, which leads to a number of events occurring with his creator. On the other hand, in Please Don't Date Him, the FL is developing an AI in a fridge which somehow manages to gain access to network intelligence. At first seeming like a blessing, the drama goes on to show how having access to this AI software causes issues for the people around the FL.

Both drama start with FL who are stereotypically considered "unattractive" due to this they undergo a change via the use of a mystical ring (queen of the ring) and major plastic surgery (200 pound beauty) in order to get the man of their dreams.

Both of these dramas revolve around the characters solving a murder case. In abyss the main characters are reborn with a new appearance to their original bodies. The ML aims to clear his name as the murder suspect of his friend the FL with her help after being a witness at the time of the crime. Similarly, the FL of Suspicious Partner also witnesses a murder which she aims to solve with the help of the ML.

Both these drama centre around a group of women in their "club". Ex-girlfriend club focuses on four women who all have anger towards their shared ex. Meanwhile, green Mother's Club shows the different dynamics in relationships between mothers whose children all attend the same school.

Both dramas contain characters which work within a school environment. Whilst love with flaws is more lightheaded being a romantic comedy, black dog is more serious in detecting the issues faced within schools.

Both of these are work based dramas which show the struggles of the lead as they work within a temporary placement. In black dog it is a case of the FL being a temporary teacher whilst in kkondae intern, the second ML works temporarily due to being on an internship.

Both dramas focus on the love interests of four friends. Go back couple focuses on a couple who return to their past and rekindle their romantic relationship, whilst Fight for my way FL and ML start out as childhood friends but progress into a romance as the show develops.
