Ikuta Toma , family genre, comedy and Ikuta Toma.

Ikuta Toma plays a hard working househusband in Kakenai but plays an easy-lucky neet in Hanashi wa Nagai. ;)

Definitely weird to pair these 2 because they are far off from the story line, but hear me out.
If you want to bridge from Kdrama to Jdorama or the other way around (if you enjoyed the writing style of the coup), I highly recommend you this. My reason leans more on to the Japanese side of making dramas

It is similar, in the essence of Jdoramas that you get a dilemma at the start of the drama, which will be resolved at the middle but put the character/s in a pinch again before the end for the next episode. Still the characters and story revolves around the original plot.
In my opinion, as an avid audience of both country, , Idol: the coup can par the cycle writing of Kakenai.

One of the best dramas Shin Min Ah has starred in.

HCCC is lighter and easier to watch while TWY requires more effort because of the time travel theme, nevertheless, both are worth the watch.

Soft-Spoiler-Alert:
HCCC has issues with their past (ML's mystery), while TWY unravels issues of the future.

Both female leads are specially connected to nature.
Their work is also similar: Mio being a oceanographer who protects the ocean, and Mokomi who is a florist and became a person who works for plants and tree.
They both have strong passion for what they love, and both stories have good message for the public. What can you expect more of J-doramas? :D

They may have opposite story flow but (spoiler alert:.............. familial love is definitely a common factor).

- family
- siblings
- parents are somehow not present

Both shows have a story line of human evolving into a superior being. In that aspect they are similar but the flow of the story is different.

While Sweet Home has a lot of characters focused in, Ajin centered on one main character only.

Sweet Home and Ajin has different twists but the vibe and enjoyable range are equal. So if you enjoy either of the two, the other one will highly hook you too.

At the first few episodes of 35 sai no shoujo, I was reminded of "Thirty but Seventeen," but as the story unfolds and the attention was on the family, it reminded me a lot of "My Unfamiliar Family".

Story wise it is a bit different (a family member's accident affected the whole family can be a common factor though) but the vibes and the focus on family was what reeled me on both dramas.

The love story is just secondary because the sweets is the number one focus.
WwDS is more heavy while KKA is light and fluffy in story. But if you are interested in the food content, then you will definitely enjoy as much as the other one.

Just be careful not to get diabetes :P

Both are heartwarming.
Both have one main character who uses the wheelchair and therefore talks about persons with disabilities.
I don't want to spoil, but this gives me a lot of "I'm glad to be alive" feels. :)
