I think there are very few words to express how much I like this drama. I want to say that this is a story about forgiveness, redemption, and revenge but it is more than that. However, this show is rather a living script that brings to life the characters it encompasses. Although this is not the happiest drama you'll find or view, it is rather diverse in the emotions it covers from anger to love. The story is about a victim's family and the assaulter's family, both trying to heal from the various wounds and stigmas imposed upon them. The writer intricately mixes the angst and sincerity of the characters throughout the show. The dialogues were sometimes very subtle but sometimes very heartfelt. Nevertheless, very powerful in essence when said by the actors. The acting of Eita, Mitsushima Hikari, Kazama Shunsuke, Otake Shinobu (her monologue man in ep 5...just wow), and all the other cast were just all wonderful. The expressions and actions of Eita were on point and Mitsushima Hikari's crying scenes were off the charts. The girl could cry anytime and any day. I don't think there is enough praise in this world that would be enough for their acting, so let's just leave it at that. Watch and judge for yourself.

The music is fitting for the drama but not the kind that I particularly like to listen to. It was one only song and the singer has a very intense voice. As for the the rewatch value, it is really low because I don't think I can afford to watch this drama again unless I am in the mood to watch something that is so serious in production. My favorite line for this drama is when Hiroki says that "a soul is something you gain after caring about someone." In the end though, it is a must-watch winner in the jdrama category and so I suggest you start episode 1 and get ready for an intense, sentimental journey.

Personally, I was so excited when this drama was coming out and it came out on my birthday (idk how that matters). Anyways I was like Aaron and Calvin, I'm watching this. It wasn't disappointing to me but it was a bit disorganized. The leads are in the middle of expanding their acting skills but that's fine. I don't mind that. The music was cute, I liked it. Certain moments were enhanced by the music. The story was awesome! I didn't know who she should end up with and I liked that about the story. However, sometimes it got so draggy. That's why I wouldn't rewatch this as much. Overall, it was worth watching to me because of the coupling :)

The title of this drama sounds like one of the most cliche things on Earth, so I thought the drama would a total cliche too. It turns out that I was wrong. Although the premise of the drama is the story between a casanova and an innocent, pure girl, the components of the story go far beyond that premise. This drama has an atmosphere of warmth, security, and tranquility to it like no other. At the beginning, I thought some of the characters were just plain irrational and crazy in the first two episodes. But after watching it, this is perhaps one of the most rational Taiwanese dramas that I have ever seen about love. Also, the story is mostly free of stereotypical plot devices like troublesome second leads or evil mother-in-laws. Furthermore, I like how the writer pointed out the flaws of both of the main leads so you can actually see their character development. The writer did a superb of producing a delightful and breezily romantic drama that will make you laugh a lot, smile a lot, and shed some tears. Additionally, the acting in this drama was very well done. The cast which consists of Chris Wu, Jade Chou, and many others each did a great job in making it an entertaining one. I especially found Jin Qin's comical acting to be mindblowing and the best to watch. However, Chris Wu's acting was equally phenomenal because he acted with much life in his eyes which grasped the viewer's hearts. Now I'm like a total fan of him and plan to watch like all his dramas.

Next, the music for this drama was fresh, crisp, and nice on the ears. I usually don't enjoy slow or mid-paced music, but the songs from this drama were stuck in my head for a couple of days. The opening by Claire Kuo is so peaceful and warm while the ending by Andrew Tan was sentimental and a great fit to the drama. I could see why they used those songs. Since, I am always harsh on my rewatch values, this one got a 7 for me. Although this is a sprightly drama, I don't think I could rewatch it a lot. I might go back and watch some of the scenes just because they are just so adorable. Lastly, I would like to compliment on the colors, design, and the camerawork of the show. They were so light, fluffy, and aesthetic. In the end, you should give this drama a chance because it might be one of the freshest rom-coms you will ever watch.

This drama is hilarious, amusing, and so entertaining! I saw a couple of episodes of this when it first came out in 2010 but dropped it due to a lack of subs. Four years I finished it and it is totally worth the time. The drama is comical but you there is a dual nature to the acting. It feels as if you can take the characters seriously yet not at the same time. The cast which consists of Nagase Tomoya, Toma Ikuta, Kaname Jun, Nishishida Toshiyuki, Nakashima Mika, and many other big names, ALL made the show shine. Although this is an episodic drama, the acting really pulled through and kept your attention. Oh by the way, there is a reference to Manhattan Love Story (also a great drama!) if you can catch it. The leading man Nagase Tomoya has proved himself to be a fantastic actor due to his gestures, and the way he has said the dialogues. The music for this drama is so addicting and suave that I'm sure you'll love the songs! My favorite line from the show is when Unubore says, "Ore wa ore da!"

This is a spectacular drama to watch. I was getting a bit tired of romantic comedies so I decided to watch this. Also, it lives up to the reputation of great Japanese detective/forensic dramas. My heart goes out to the cast who acted particularly well. Eita, Toma Ikuta, Ishihara Satomi, Endo Yuya, and Sato Tomohito hit all their roles on spot. Every character was unique in their own aspects and I learned a great deal from this drama. It is not only about forensic science but also about the important things in your life (ie; feelings and decisions). The storyline is very touching and the music fits the atmosphere of the drama. It's definitively a drama to watch in your life, so I highly recommend it to drama-watchers of any age group.

As I see from the reviews above mine, it seems that this drama is getting not-the-best reviews from others generally. However, I have to admit though, it was very different from Dream High. It took the setting of a songwriter instead of an idol singer or dancer. I thought this was a unique and nice idea for the story. It was rather original too and had a sense of realism. The drama actually focused more on the relationships between the characters as compared to Dream High which was stellar! The acting, I admit, was good. Kang Sora's expressions were really on spot for her character. JB and Jinwoon turned out to be darn good leads. They had their own chemistry xD The side characters were so adorable

First of all, I think that for the most part if you have watched the Japanese version of this drama, it will make some form of difference in what you think about this drama. As one of those viewers who have watched and obsessed over the Japanese version, I was pleasantly delighted with this version of Liar Game. I walked into it thinking that it wasn't going to be as great as the Japanese version, so I was surprised at the different little twists and clicks away from the original.

For the story, it very much is correlated with the manga called Liar Game but the drama added some new content. I must say that the setting of it being a public game show is rather nice and the occasional opinions of the public being thrown in was refreshing to see.

The music was for the most part suited to the drama. I love the opening introduction to the drama, that is my favorite piece of South Korean instrumental music now. And as for the background music, it did its job of making certain things suspenseful and at other times emotional. Overall in this category, I wasn't too focused on it.

Most of us will agree that the damn good acting is what hooked and kept us hooked to this drama. The casters did a great job picking these performers who carried this drama. I'd like to take the time to complement Kim So Eun and Lee Sang Yoon on their phenomenal acting. I would also like to complement the supporting characters especially Jo Dal Goo. Jo Dal Goo's was so on point, oh the feels. I did not find Kim So Eun's acting to be annoying or stupid. As for Lee Sang Yoon, he played the part very well and looked great playing it. But the one who KILLED his role was Shin Sung Rok. I mean talk about swag in a villain role. He was off the charts psychotic and maddening. I cannot imagine anyone pulling this role off besides him and he deserves every bit of praise for his role as MC Kang.

To end, the re-watch value of 7.5, believe it or not is pretty high. I've re-watched the Japanese version numerous times and the same is happening with this version. There is something about this story that I love to the inner core. So overall, this drama is definitely recommended! Give yourself some thrill and suspense, and enjoy the swag of MC Kang while you are at it.

Honestly, this is an awesome drama! A lot of Fei Lun Hai members are in here and the their roles suited their acting level. The storyline is extremely unique, unlike any I've seen in Taiwanese dramas before. The music is oh my god, is one of the best I've ever heard in asian drama. The opening by Tank is so good that I still murmur the words when I listen to it. I would rewatch this because it's very funny and clever. Overall, it's more than an 8. Its very good. I would recommend this to wuxia/comedy lovers. The girls can enjoy this too because of the adorable romance lines.

I watched this movie mainly for Song Joong Ki, since he is one actor I really like. I have to say that the acting of Park Bo Young and Song Joong Ki is really what made the movie shine for me. However the leading light in the production is Song Joong Ki. He killed the role as Cheol Su and made me tear up with just his actions. He spoke very little in this movie but carried the role out so well. Where can I even begin to describe the amount of cuteness and depth he exibited with this role? As for the music, it was nice and fitting for the scenes. The scenes and cinematography were really nice and natural. The storyline isn't oh-ah amazing as I had expected it to be but it still softly touches the corners of your heart. I wouldn't rewatch this because I can't go through the frustration and agony that I got from it. My only complaint is the pacing of the show. Not that I mind slow, slitherly paced movies, but I struggled to keep my attention because of the how the movie was paced and how the climax took shape. Other than that, good movie with great actors and scenes in naturally-gorgeous locations.
