Why Are U Gay? Who Says I'm Gay?... You Are Gay.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooo. Dafug you mean this isn't a BL? All that tension is wasted on a bromance? Look, being friends is nice, best-friends? even nicer, but these two talks/look at each other like they tryna book a honeymoon suite. Respectfully, I think they should kiss each others faces and get marry... cuz aint no way that tension/chemistry/dialogue is of the friendship/bromance nature! Also, half of this cast should have died halfway through episode 1, in a coma or hospitalised from all that beatings and fighting. What's more surprising about this show isn't that it's tag 'bromance' but screams bl. No, it's how we had 16 episodes, and no one died from all that violence. And who even showed this children how to fight and start gangs? Whenever there's a fight scene, I'm alway like, 'Ooooh, is you dead?' only for them to show up the next day at school like 'who me, nah, I should be dead but like...it's Tuesday, we have Thai language classes so...' People, how did these people survive for this long?? Especially when none of them knew how to call the damn police?
Anyway, Listen, I think the word 'Friend' should be permanently ban from Saint and Shin's dictionary, cuz these two would do/say the most questionable, inlove-ness-ness thing ever then go:
Shin: I would have forgiven you for every bad thing you ever did, if you'd have stayed. You left me behind.
Saint: I'm sorry, I thought leaving was the best thing for you. The best way for you to live your dreams and be happy.
Shin: Without you in my life, I won't be happy. Apart from soccer, you are the only thing I care about.
Saint: You are the only person I care about too. Let's take a couple picture.
Shin: Waking up to see your face is what I've wanted my whole life. I don't like you, I love you.
Saint: I love you too, Shin.
Me: awwwwwwwww *heart doing jumping jacks*
Shin: You are my friend.
Saint: You are my friend.
Me: Dishonour. Dishonour on you, dishonour on your cow, dishonour on your ancestors goat!
I can't do this anymore. And no, it's not that I want every thing to be a BL, but like the writers and director are purposely trying to drive me insane with how they are executing this friendship. Legit, every episode I'm just waiting for one of them to confess, or just lean in a little bit and kiss, so I can go... 'I KNEW IT!' cuz, friends don't look at each other's lips like that. I was legit going 'kiss, kiss, kiss' in episode 12, instead of going 'how dafug is yous still alive right now Saint, you should be in a morgue.' And when they hugged, I cheered and cried a bit. Imma need GMMTV to cast these two in a BL so my soul can rest, cuz I aint finna chill with his whole bromance thing.
GMMTV were messing with us throughout this show. In the finale, with all the longing looks, playful touches and promises of staying together forever, and the 'I love yous' in the rain with faces so close, I was screaming, yaay, finally, only for them to go 'bish you thought'. Why are they playing us like that? Never before had a bromance tug hurt so much. Well, there's The Untamed, but we don't talk about that. Cuz really, is the bromance in the room with us? Huh, you call that bromance?
Not gonna lie though, I do love their friendship. To have someone who is there for you and cares for you it’s beautiful. I love seeing them goof already and tease each other of having 'feelings' and 'blushing'. Their roughhousing is all I'm living for at this point. Seeing how close they were in the past made me sad they had a fallen out. And with the little sister, they seem like a family. Still, I won’t say no to friends to lovers XD
This show is a BL, disguised as a bad bromance, cuz we can all see the BL in neon colours. Literally every episode Saint's like 'I want you back, I love you, please be with me forever' then Shin will look at him with those longing eyes and they'd stare real hard into each other's eyes. Why is this a bromance? In what world is all that tension bromance? Nothing about Saint and Shin screams bromance. Those two are in love. Literally these was them, word for word:
Saint: The most important thing that I'm giving up is not school, it's you, Shin. I'm giving up on the chance to be with you.
Me: OMG, this a BL.
Director: No, it's a bromance.
Shin: You say, you're giving up what's important, and that means you're giving up on me. But you know what? You gave up on me a long time ago. Three years ago when you broke my leg. So, you don't get to leave me behind again.
Me: *in tears* Seeee, it talks like a bl, acts like a bl, it's a bl. They are in love.
Director: No, it's a bromance.
Me: No one asked you, Sharon. Damn!
First off, for half of the series I kept asking myself, 'are those teachers at that school even qualified to take care of the children?' It seems like no one knows what they were doing. The students just walked all over them, disrespecting them, hitting them, straight up treating them like trash. Literally, why were these children still in school? In the real world they'd have long been suspended, right? But, in the last half, the teachers pulled through. I did like how they were there for the children, and did their best for them. With how horrible those children were, they could have given up, but they didn't, and fought for them, which is all a good teacher can do.
Anyway, I enjoyed this show, a lot. The whole mystery regarding what Saint did to Shin to make him hate him so much, kept my interest. But oh boy, I was ready to pull my hair, because 6 episodes in and Shin is still going on and on, and on about how dirty Saint did him. 'You ruined my life. I will never forgive you. I will beat you up'. And I'm like sure, he's the scum of the earth, now tell me what he DID. Damn! Boy was so vague about what happened it got annoying. Cuz, my arse is nosy and I wanted to know what he did so I could judge and hate him too, but they kept dragging it. Literally, that plot device was like that one friend who always have sh!t to share but never does like:
That One Friend: You won't believe what happened to me today. I'm telling you, when the Pope finally left, the police had to fly the rest of us home on a helicopter. In the end, the president and his details had to sleepover at my house.
ME: OMG??? What the hell happened??
That One Friend: It's nothing really. I don't wanna talk about it.
ME: *Inwardly* I am stabbing you in my head.
No, but, I am so glad they finally told us what he did. And when I heard how Saint ruined Shin's dream by beaten him the hell up, broken his leg and ruining his soccer dreams, then disappearing on him after, I was like... Never forgive him. As a matter of fact, beat him some more, cuz... what?? And knowing Saint did that because he probably didn't want his 'friend' to leave him is even worse! Nah, but Saint did Shin sooo bad. Learning that and seeing how Shin still didn't seem to truly hate him made me feel even more bad for him. Yes, Saint deserved all the hate he got got from Shin. Hell, he deserved more than that, but I was so happy when he finally earned his forgiveness and they became 'friends' again, or whatever the hell they are with those longing looks.
I was all giggles in episode 11, that roof top and bike scene was everything. I won't even mention the jump on your chest hug, the lip stares or nothing. Cuz apparently those are things friends do and say, so imma shut up, and consider for the millionth time if I should open ao3 and write my own damn fanfic about these two characters with tags #notabromance #nobromancehere #saintandshinnotfriendsbutboyfriends
Anyway, my main issue with this drama is the violence. Like, what school would allow all that to happen and not expel those students? They are so violent and mean, then, they return to school the next day like nothing happened. Some of these people should be in a coma, have major injury or like dead dead. Literally, after all the beaten Shin got, he showed up to school like it was nothing. That boy should have been in a coma or in an obituary page.
PLOT: the story is interesting, though there's so many gang stuff and nonsense fighting violence going on it drags. The bad guys are so generic it hurts. Ken and the twins were so bleh and uninteresting in the beginning, but glad they got a redemption arc, an emotional one at that. That being said, it took be a while to notice they were twins and not the same person doing both part. My bad.
CHARACTERS: My fav was Chatjen, Mark really outdid himself in this role. I knew Mark was a good actor since Last Twilight, even when Boston was wrecking his heart, I loved him. And here I just loved how well he played his character. The leads, Saint and Shin are a close second, cuz I like the tension between them, the push and pull and how each makes me understand the characters they are playing. They were perfect for the role, and they managed to make it a very enjoyable show.
Secondary characters: I'd thought the supporting cast were gonna be background noise, but most of them had depth. Cable, Peeta, Chatjen. Everyone seems to have their own problems, even Ken and his friends. I can't believe this show managed to make me emotional about Ken. This character was unlikable for like 12 episodes, then bam emotions. I legit don't know if I should respect the redemption/depth arc or boo at it for being so damn emotional. The twins really pulled through for their friend, I thought they were just gonna be airheads.
Also who the heck was cutting onions during that classroom scene in episode 15?? When they all decided to be friends and sharing food... awwwwww like, I was going through it. Love how they came together in the finale as well to help Ken. See how beautiful friendship can be instead of them fighting all the time. And don't even get me started on Saint and Shin confronting the mother that they were friends and the little sister coming to hold their hands and calling Saint brother. My tears were everywhere. I aint saying it looked like one of those forbidden love story scenes, but it did. I really do love how they are ride or die for their friendship.
That shady teacher, being a bully was a surprise to no one, and that one female teacher is trying, but the poor woman is just sad. Her hitting her self had me going 'what even are we doing here?' I understand her wanting to quit, but damn woman, give yourself a break, nobody is perfect. And was I the only one who went 'My sister, enough already, just go back to teaching like we all know you will.' when they kept baby-ing her? Yes, I understood her, but it was getting to a point when I was over that whole arc. And also who the heck was her father? In the finale, she kept doing 'dad I did it, I'm a good teacher, bla bla voice over' and i'm just sitting there like, whomst?
I also like how the Eve and Airy developed from being enemies to friends. I'm satisfied with the finale we got. Was so emotional when Chatjen left. Poor dude was so happy with his friends. I'm glad the students came around, and Class 2 became friends. Loved how closer Shin and Saint seemed in the end, and how the mother had accepted Saint into the family. It seems their future is gonna be tangled together forever, cuz Saint's whole purpose in life right now is... 'Shin. I'll follow Shin everywhere. If it's not Shin related I aint want it.'
All in all, I went into this show thinking it was a bl, and was surprised when it wasn't, but the story and characters kept me watching. Plot-wise, the story has been done before. The violence was very savage and I didn't buy it that it didn't have more dire outcomes. The teachers and violence part got a bit boring, but all of them adds together, and we got a beautiful story of friendship, redemption and forgiveness, which was told with a good cast and team. I enjoyed coming back to it every week, so I'll recommend this to all drama lovers, trust me, it's as bl as it gets, so don't let the bromance tag keep you away. Trust me. This is going on my list of fav dramas this year.
ALSO. We are getting WU with Sky and Nani as leads next year!! Ahhhhhhh. I'm hearing it's another bromance. At first I was like. 'No, curses!' but knowing the chemistry of these two, that show is gonna be more intense and gayer than any bl next year. So, GMMTV, go ahead keep playing with us, make them 'friends' again, I don't care, as far as these two are in the same series together, we've won. Damn, it's gonna be a long arse wait for WU.
Aanyway, imina SkyNani.

More Playlover Than Cosmetic
I've poked myself in the eye one too many times using eye-liner pencil, so I thought this show was going to offer some indirect tips on doing make-up, boy was I wrong. Also, am I the only person so tired of these 'perfect-can-do-everything' male leads? And, for a show that promised 'cosmetic' there was barely any up close. They 'talked' about make-up, showed us some shots of them 'advisor-ing' what products to use, we just never got to see any of it in depth. Which was a shame, but okay, cuz this show wasn't about that, it was more about what happens behind the scenes.
Listen, Natsume is one of the most realistic characters I've come across in BLs. He's annoying, optimistic, over-thinker, too nice, insecure and did I mention annoying? I LOVED, how human his character was. Watching him go from feeling supportive and proud of Tome to becoming jealous when he reached places his career hasn't, was very realistic and the biggest reason I liked the show. It showed how human he was, and how the green-eye monster almost always get the best of us.
But then, Gaaawddd I wanted to slap him with a rubber chicken when he kept assuming/making decision for Tome without hearing his side of things. Yes, I understand he meant well, but dafug you mean go to New York cuz his crazy arse brother who wears sunglasses in doors wants him to? Literally that boy mentioned Tome was alone during his childhood, and then you wanna believe family is what he needs? At least let him solve his own family issue if you want them to work it out. Yes, you're welcome to give your opinion but don't make decisions for him. Also that fight/misunderstanding they had which made Tome go to Paris was not it. Natsume is so insecure at times that I just wanted to shake him. But then again, it's not his fault, Tome's character came off as an arrogant god-like individual who could do no wrong, so how could he not feel inferior beside him?
Tome. Tome felt like most male leads in these BLs. He's handsome, good at basically everything he touches and the lead talks about him as if he hangs the moon. Nothing special, we've seen it a million times and me personally, I wanna throw rocks at those male leads, cuz perfect characters annoys me by default. It's the reason I've stopped reading YA books, the female leads are always so effing special and all the males want them.
Anyway, yes, Tome being the 'perfect' type of character made him my least favourite immediately, but then, in that episode when he finally told us why he came off as arrogant, I got him. And I understood him even more when we learned he basically raised himself. I understand why he became aloof to everything after how those jealous of him treated him. So, by the end, I didn't dislike his character at all. I came to sympathised.
I liked how in the end it seemed the two have reached a good place in their career and relationship. They could have done more with the plot, but given how each episode was under 30mins, and we only had 8 episode, I'm not surprised this was all we were given. I'm okay with what we got, it was enjoyable nonetheless. Though, what I keep wondering with the finale. Did Tome leave that dinner to go stand by the water and wait? LMAO, they couldn't just walk there together? I found it so random, and it made me laugh.
The plot of course wasn't very much, but I liked the leads, which made watching the show enjoyable. They were good in their roles, and acted it well, with good chemistry as well. As for the side-characters, they were basically props and expositions. Literally Natsume's mother and sister showed up one time to be fangirls, that random dude who wanted revenge or whatever, was there so we learned Natsume is good at noting stuff down in this black book, and I won't even talk about that dude who mentioned Natsume is his type, he was just loud and there to cause not-very-interesting drama. And that boy he went to see the fireworks with was clearly created as nothing more than to be the exposition.
All in all, this show is basically about two people in the workplace trying to make their way doing what they love. They fell in love along the way, and like always, there's misunderstandings and fireworks while kissing, but overall an enjoyable show. It's also different in how we got to see another industry portrayed in a bl. If you wanna watch it for the cosmetic, there isn't much of it, but if you want an un-heavy show to rewind, then this one is for you. I'll recommend it.

Mew's Silver Chain Had Me VEXED
Listen,Being a stupid arse is, o-kay. But being a stupid arse and acting like some sort of saint is not okay!
GAWDDD Mew had me pulling my hair in this. Dafug you mean, your 2-days old boyfriend cheated with your thirsty friend so you going to... *check notes*
1) Become an alcoholic (How's that gonna effect Top's liver ho?)
2) Do drugs (Bish did your mama drop you on your head?)
3) Swing your friend who is in love with you along? (For shame!)
4) Buy an ugly arse shirt and... (Literally, he looked like a divorce dad from Santa Monica.)
5) THAT silver CHAIN... (Boy, if you don't take shit off!)
It bust my mind. That's it? That's your revenge? Is that suppose to hurt Top? Was that his brillant plan? And what in the world was that chain???? Was that supposed to be some sort of indication he's bad now? DUDE!! ARRRGGG. EW. Every time he was on screen I skip forward like... not today satan! Y'all ain't gonna stress me out.
And some people out there making tiktok videos talking about how Boston is a red flag. He was the only tolerable character on that show. Matter of fact, he was my fav, cuz at least, he knew he sucks and should dig a hole and die. But noooo, Mew... GAWWWDDDDD I hated that character so much. I tried but I couldn't stand him and Top.
The other characters were okay. SandRay did not annoy me as much as TopMew. The storyline was nothing to write home about. And that stupid arse silver chain did it no favours. Also, how is Mark in everything? I'm not complaining, he managed to make me love him in 'My School's President', but damn dude, do you have time to sleep?
Anyway, Mew count your days, it's on sight!!

This Show is as Real as my Aunt’s Church Wig
Yes, yes, we all wanted to throw rocks at Shun and slap him with a rubber chicken, but, what in the love potion did Kazuto put in those meals? Cuz my man was out there collecting boys like Pokémons.Let’s be honest. This ‘reality’ show is as real as my uncle Bob’s Christmas toupée, but I still enjoyed it, cuz I love me some drama!! And frankly, I’m nosy. I heard someone say Shun’s a RED FLAG, and went ‘Ming’s got an IRL brother? Where?’ Then my nosy arse immediately took a seat.
And I remained seated, cuz watching Ryota strike-out over and over again (knowing his parents might be watching, yikes, I’d have moved to the sun) made me grab some popcorn and wine. Ryota’s pain, Shun’s annoying arse, Dai’s frustrations and Kazuto being belle of the ball made for such great entertainment. Oh and that chicken and that one go-go guy.
But let’s forget about that guy and his chicken for a second. Cuz— How about that first KISS between Dai and Shun?? Oh boy, that was, yeah. Stuff. Oof. *stupid in love noises* so powerful it had an afterglow??
And that last ‘DAI, I AM IN LOVE WITH YOU’ Aaaaahhhhh, I screamed, clapped and cried. And when Dai said it back??? Good stuff :(((. In love people are sooo annoying *cries in jealous* Nah, those two, I swear to Gawd!!
And back to that kiss. It put most bl kisses to shame. Because some bl characters kisses like they are afraid of lips. Like that ‘We Are’ PhumPeem kiss when they were sitting on that canoe/boat. Peem looked like he was in pain and his teeth were about to catch fire. Honestly, Phum would have had a better time making out with that canoe. And don’t even get me started on Q and Toey’s kisses. They were so awkward and stiff, I wanted to throw stale bread at their heads.
Anyway, that kiss was hot, but then again it couldn’t have been anything else, cuz the build up was heart pounding. The moment Shun awkwardly jumped into Dai’s bed, I knew, he knew what he was doing. Like come on bro, game recognises game, I know yous wanna chop. hihi.
Of course a day after the kiss, Shun out there again being a broken record talking about ‘I can’t enjoy myself when we are together, I need space.’ Then move to the sun! And to think he did that because Dai won’t wear his t-shirt. OMG HE IS EXHAUSTING!! This drama queen!
DAI & SHUN
Yes, the only reason I watched this show is because I heard people saying Shun is a red flag. And I will agree to disagree, because the first time Shun introduced himself, I was like: ‘aww he wants to find love and start a family’ but then the look on his face and the way he was speaking had me going ‘LMAO why you talking about love sounding like you’re making a grocery list?’ Homeboy was like:
1. (1)boyfriend/future husband. (Preferable one allergic to happiness. Should not get excited about aquariums)
2. Three kids? (I want a big family so we can celebrate the holidays)
3. Two cups of ways to drive whoever I end up with insane with my indecisiveness and moods
4. 3? 2 bottles of mood swings (top shelve products only)
5. Sugar?
No really, tell me why Shun comes off as that one kid who goes outside for the first time in days and comes back home like: ‘Dear Dairy, I want outside again today. The humans are still there. I did not like it.’
But then, but then, he gets happy and he’s all bright smiles, and shy energy, making your heart melt, and you wanna gently roll him up in a blanket sandwich and gives him cheek kisses, then shove him off a cliff—cuz the next scene he’s back to being cranky and annoying.
Let’s be honest, Shun is an attention seeker who has the personality of a god-darn flip flop, and he soaks up negative energy around him like spongebob, but… I vibe with that air breather and would happily make excuses for him, because I get it, people are exhausting. And with his family and love life background, I understand why he was playing ping-pong with Dai’s feeling.
Shun at 23 has gone through more than most of us, so he’s allowed to protect his heart. Some traumas makes villains of us, but just because we put ourselves first, doesn’t make us bad people. So yes, I’d be the first in line to shove Shun off a small cliff cuz his annoying arse got to me, but I’ll gladly use the second person in line’s body to break his fall.
Also, why was everyone saying Shun is a red flag? Peoples, did you notice the rollercoaster Kazuto put Alan through??? No really, he kept confusing the poor boy until literally the last episode. If I was Alan, i’d have make like that one chicken guy and send myself packing.
That being said. Shun is a Drama Queen. Boy showed up for a dating show and after meeting the contestant went ‘yeah, cancel the whole thing, I don’t like any of these people, send them back.’ LOL, I was surprised he stayed.
I threw popcorn at my screen and booed whenever he said ‘I’m not sure’ about his feelings for Dai. ‘Child!! Will you keep quiet??’ Shun got into my core. Dafug you mean you have no wish after winning? Why are you still in this show?? Boy if you don’t make like that one chicken guy and go study abroad!!
All the pain Shun suffered in this show was cost by himself, and for that, I still lowkey want to shake him for being so indecisive. Cuz, out of nowhere he decided he and Dai should remain friends after their first date because, *Check outs*
1. Dai’s too happy and it exhausted him. Child!?! No, really, he was like: ‘that’s enough happiness for this month, don’t stand too close me.’ What?!? now how you gon’ be a hater of fun in this economy?? But, Shun, honey, if you hate fun how you gon’ entertain your children?? Cuz right now, i’m just imagining him giving his kids time-out because they sang ‘itsy bisty spider’ with too much enthusiasm.
2. Setting himself up for jealousy. After he turn their will-they-wont-they situationship into an awkward Im-staring-at-you-from-a-distance situation, he had the audacity to get jealous. I’m all for pinning, and I was cheering on Shun, but I was clapping and going ‘yes, ignore his sorry arse’ when Dai and Ikuo were doing a romantic disney montage by the sea. You know, right in front of his salad.
3. Breaking his own heart by not lifting his hands. Then of course, he immediately regretted it and he had the audacity to look like a kicked puppy, making me all soft and lowkey hating on Dai for making him sad.
I’m glad he got his shit together cuz I had, had it up to here with him and was ready to throw a chair.
It’s not a secret, we were all watching this show for these two. But damn, Shun made it so hard for me to ship them. At some point, I wanted Dai to say eff you and become one of Kazuto’s boys. But in the finale, when he finally made up his mind and confessed first, I was like: ‘that's my boy. Boo in-love people are annoying *happy tears*
Dai is a sweetheart. I like how he knows what he wants and goes for it. Those episodes when he purposely made Shun jealous with Ikuo was chef-kiss. He has the patient of a saint, cuz if Shun was frustrating me like that, my dramatic arse would have been like: ‘You ain’t the only air breather here. Pfft. Bye Felicia.’
But he held on, and it paid off, because they ended up together. Yes, Shun and Dai found a middle to be together, but at what cost? I feel like they both compromised parts of them that’s going to be hard for them to let go of. Would they survive in the end? Who knows, but I wish them all the luck, and lots of kisses.
RYOTA RYOTA RYOTA
hahahahah HAHHAHA. Im sorry, I know he must be heart broken wherever his single arse is, but damn! Homeboy was so sad to look at. He got rejected and kept going. Child, do you have a humiliation kink??
If he was a character on Ao3 his tags would be like #unrequitedlove #nevergiveup #sandwiches #tears
Listen, I don’t enjoy peoples sadness or anything, but like, if I was Ryota, I’d have left the second Kazuto rejected me. Homeboy was two-for-two then went back and got rejected again in the last episode. Ryota just couldn’t catch a break. Shun didn’t even consider his feelings and immediately friend-zone him, then proceeded to dump his relationship problem on him for advice. OUCH.
And Kazuto looked like he wished, he hadn’t confessed to him. Cuz we all know all that polite smiling meant: ‘haha, thank you for liking me, but no. Bro.’
Also, that sandwich in the finale made me shake my head. WHY Ryota, just why?? Kazuto keeps choosing Alan, and your solution is to make him lunch?? Come on son, have some shame and some self-respect? And to make it worse, Kazuto just enjoyed it with Alan. Naahhh that’s a foul!!!
Ryota chased after two people who did not want him, and drove the one who wanted him out of the Green Room. Really, I laughed at him yes, but I felt bad for him in the end, cuz that last attempt at Kazuto, though brave, was just sad. I hope in the future he learns to notice the people who wants him, instead of going after those who don’t and getting his heart broken repeatedly.
KAZUTO KAZUTO KAZUTO & ALAN
They say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, but this was just ridiculous. Everyone wanted Kazuto, so much so that someone even left to go work aboard when they couldn’t have him. PAUSE. What in a kdrama moment was that? I know it was emotional and was supposed to be sad, but not gonna lie, I laughed so hard.
Kazuto was confused most of the show, then knowing his feelings. He kept changing his mind. Shun must have borrowed him those flip-flops cuz boy put Alan through the ringer. One moment he wanted to be friends, then he’s not sure about his feelings, then he wants to hold hands. CHILD!!!
And Alan. Gawddd if I had to hear Alan remind us again he’s Brazilian, I’d riot. We get it, your grandparents were adventurous, enough! It was like 51% of his personality, and thank god he brought something else to the table, cuz… Even his title was like ‘Brazilian it worker’ okay?
And yes, I liked him and Kazuto. I felt like he came on a bit too strong, but he did eventually learned to slow to his pace, so that worked out. And I hope after spending more time together Kazuto gets his sh!t together and make them official.
EVERYONE ELSE:
Did everyone else forget that one contestant that gave shun advice while drinking wine, Taeyon?. Was he a filler contestant, cuz i forgot he was even in the show before that scene. Good luck to him I guess.
Gensei being delulu thinking Ryota wanted him was so funny. At first he was like, nah, then when he realised he didn’t want him, he was interested. And what was his deal always wanting to put make-up on Ryota? I felt sorry for him, cuz he could see that he was just a replacement, so I’m glad he left.
Ikuo. Poor dude, he showed up all happy and left with his spirit crushed. And Dai did him so dirty cuz they were like:
- IKUO: Dai, I know I used to like Kazuto, but that’s over, and I want to confess my feelings to you. I like you.
- DIA: Whomst? me? No. Shun Shun Shun. But, I almost had a crush on you, because you’re good at house chores.
LMAO, what a way to reject someone. That was nasty.
Also, damn, why were they always like ’Thank you’ every time they rejected someone? The politeness made it even worse. Poor Ryota though, boy got a ‘thank you’ and as if that’s not enough, a handshake. That was somehow extra worse.
Anyway, I don’t like reality shows. I’d watch only one in my life, and it was about cake being real or fake. So, I didn’t want to watch this, but am glad I did, cuz it was entertaining. I wish all these people luck finding love. And to Dai, dude, good luck with Shun’s dramatic arse, you gonna need it!

Scissors... Dog Walks...Riding...and...Mushrooms?
First off, I'd like to apologize for episode 9...blood of the holy ghost, how do I explain that unholy episode to my ancestors? I thought scissors were a device used for cutting hair... but boy was I wrong. Ob-un did all that while having a sword wound!! Child?? And did Ob-un dog walked Shan up those stairs?? Also, Ob-un's villain laughter had me weak, dafug you mean, uhuhum uhuhum hummm. Boy, stop playing.Listen, these actors are brave. Kudos to them for being able to act these scenes in front of so many crew members. Tutor a better human than me though, cuz after that stone bed scene, I'd have pulled Yim to the side and acted like that one k-drama and go... 'Listen buddy, I didn't want to say this, but like, my family have 30 cows, and my mom knows a monk...get dressed, we getting married.' No but, seriously, how you go back to being friends after all that??? This is the wildest they've been.
And like, as if that scissor scene wasn't enough, we had the dog walk, which imma be honest got cringy in the middle, and that double riding in the finale... Susan, I think someone can get pregnant from all that. And the second leads also had that couch scene which had full on display cheeks and the whole demon lord thing in the finale. How these actors look into each other's eyes after that? Cuz, I can't even make eye contact on public transport, I always have to act all creepy like something interesting is on the floor. Like one time on the bus a baby smiled at me and I tried to hid behind one of them thin poles, cuz I ain't trying to have no awkward stare offs with no baby but like that's...wait, what was I talking about?
Right, mushrooms. yes, I definitely needed whatever mushroom those two took to fully enjoy the first couple of episodes of series. It was soo boring. Before I knew they were on mushrooms, I was like, does TuturYim need paper that much? I’ll start a go fund me, ain't no way they out here on this bus acting a-fool, cuz what in the bloody hell was that? Literally, as writers, I’d assume they’d try to steal a library or type on a rock, instead of acting like frogs on a public bus, the second-hand embarrassed I felt stayed with me until that Thursday.
I had high hopes for BOTW. TutorYim are one of my favs from Cutie Pie, so I'm seated for whatever they do, but this show took some time to get into. I didn't care for the plot that much, and all the childish over the top-acting nonsense didn't help. And what was Shan's work? And was it me or there were too many characters? The writers tried to give everyone their moment, but really, I did not care one bit about that wedding. Up until that point, I'd be lying if I said I noticed him being part of the writers. Her dress was beautiful though.
So yeah, it disappointed me, cuz the plot didn't hold my interesting, and I found it boring in some parts. Yes, the cutsy outfit in their writing space scenes were cute, but I didn't really care for it, but I liked those cute things they had in their hair. and I had no idea what half of the characters were going on about until much later. I did like some things, like the Costume plot. They looked sooo good as ancient characters. Really, I wanted to watch that plot-line instead. Sin and Jingjang's story was cute and I liked it.
CHARACTERS
I liked Shan and Ob-un, there weren't any unnecessary drama between them, and even the 'big fight' when Shan lied about his eyesight ended with a reward so... But I felt the show had too many characters, and I barely remember half of them. That one character who acted like a bad face mask, confessing to Shan but getting turned down and coming back like a bad lunch, trying to pull stuff, like boy be quiet and go hug a tree. Literally, in the finale when he was there during the proposal going 'kiss kiss kiss' I was like.: 'wait that guy is still in the show?' lol.
PLOT & FINALE.
They did have one with Ob-un and Shan's past and everything, then of course them writing that bl. I just felt like it was all done in a jumble. The execution made the plot come off boring in same parts. It felt like after episode 9, they sort of ran out of ideas and we got long 'papapa' scenes and just filler stuff. Literally, what was the point of the finale, and what did we really get? The story felt concluded waay before the finale, so it just felt like a filler episode. Though, I was happy Sin's partner came back.
All-in-all, interesting plot done in a messy way, but as a fan of the leads I still tuned in, and enjoyed some episodes. I recommend it all bl lovers out there, watch it if you have some time or you looking for spicy bls, cuz...episode 9..blood of the holy ghost that ish was wild! I am looking forward to TutorYim's next work, I'll be tuning in, hoping without mushrooms.

SUCH....A....SL...OW...BU...RN....
I can't believe after ALL THAT STUDYING, Sheng Wang decided to fail his exams on purpose cuz he didn't wanna fantasize about his brother's throat while he drunk water in class. Son of Adam, was that the best solution your horny arse could come up with? Child!! People in love are so... #facepalm. Also, that ending. I don't know whether to cry, cuss or accept it. Really, a hopeful ending?? Hopeful endings sucks. I didn't come here for hope, this ain't a goddamn wishing well! Give me my happy ending :(((( Oh, the wait for season 2 is gonna hurt so bad.The slow burn in this drama hurts sooo good. But, any slower and we'd have gone back in time. You know, the time when we hit each other in the head with giant sticks and go 'awooga, awooga, I love you marry me, I have a goat.' Somehow, I think this is exactly how it's gonna happen when one of these two decides to confess. ^^
Again, I can't believe they hit us with the 'I know my feelings, but I can't act on them because he's my elder brother.' Where? Show me the birth certificate. Your baby photos?? And then SW kept using 'Brother' every chance he got. The way I was side-eyeing him. Mfker did yous lose a brother? If you don't shut your face and go sit down.
That finale! If I could go into my screen and hit Sheng Wang with a rubber chicken I would. Cuz dude, what in the stupid arse solution was that? Sure, I went 'Oh, dear God we've lost a brother,' when he realised his feelings and turned into a horny delulu, who fantasies with bi-sexual lightning, I knew he was about to do something stupid. I thought him changing his statues to 'brother' was the something stupid, but intentionally messing with your important exams?? CHILD? After all that studying to stay in class A?? Arggggggg feelings + decisions = stupid.
And I'm out here, in tears, sad at seeing Jiang Tian break down and punch a wall, and they are making room for those two teachers and I'm like... my friend my friend will you move aside, I don't care about you, fix your own goddamn problems in season two. Damn, that hopeful ending hurts soo good. I liked what we got, but if we don't get a season two, then what was the point? If felt like the story was just about to pick up, and then bam, it's over. My mood is ruin for the rest of the year until January 16th. No one better try talking to me over my pudding this christmas, imma feel the room with my bitterness.
Oh and, the music in this show was sooooo gooood. I loved the soundtrack!
Anyway, listen, the reason I chose to watch this drama wasn't because of the plot or even the actors. It was because of Jiang Tian's short haircut. I was so happy when I saw it. Why? Cuz, I am tired of that hairstyle trend some male actors and singers are doing these days. You know, the one where they cut the front short and leave a long thin part falling down their neck like a curtain? What the eff is up with that haircut? I thought we left the mullet with the bygone cowboys?
Cuz, why is it back? Why our fav stars now out there looking like long neck ponies? You’d see a fine arse fella but then bang, the back of his neck looks like a giraffe having a bad hair day. Who even came up with this? And now people out there given it a corny arse name like the turtle or some sh!t. What turtle you known out there looking like sugarcane with a bad wig? huh? Look, I don’t even hate the hairstyle, it looks good on a few, I just… it’s so ugly, can’t they see it’s not nice? who hyped that shit up, cuz some of y’all must have been out there going ‘aww oppa, nice hair’ no, no, sit yo arse down! I need y'all to stop hyping it, so it can go in the corner and slowly die. Burn it with gasoline and matches.
Why is that the haircut every male wants? They don’t own mirrors? What I miss? is it me? am I a hater of the hairstyle, or like does it honestly super fucking sucks like I think? Some of these stars need a new hairstyle. Matter of fact, get the love sick haircut, nice fade, bald hair, your neck not looking like a cucumber in a cheap wig. Just why? they protecting their necks from something we don't know about? are the horses about to riot? cuz like, there's no way... wait… what was I talking about?
Right. Metro cards. Was it just me, or finding out Sheng Wang kept the metro card Jiang Tian came him as his lucky charm was super darn cute? You know, like rainbows, unicorns, cotton candy and whatnot.
Anyway, the plot of this drama isn't new. Heck it's a reused trope that's been done to hell, but it's how it was executed, that made it special. It was amazingly done, with actors that had good chemistry and knew how to act, making it one of the best dramas this year. The support characters were also good, that friend group was as funny and chaotic as they needed to be, which added to the overall enjoyment. And as for the tension, damn, those two! The little lingering of romance we got was done so well, although there was barely any touching involve, the leads really had chemistry that was chemistrying. I am on my knees hoping for a second season.
I loved that this series didn’t rush into the romance part or even put the most focus on it. Instead they gave us BACKSTORY!! Nowadays most shows have characters that are 1 dimensional, with little to no depth and super basic. But this series had depth, it made us learn about the characters, understood where they are coming from and where they’d been. We got to stay with them and withins their growth, which made me enjoy watching it. So, yeah, although the plot wasn't new, it was very well done executed with a talent team who understood the script. So kudos.
TEN THINGS I LIKED ABOUT YOU:
1. Jiang Tian learning to open up, and letting people into his space. (When he finally unpacked his suitcase, I had tears, and clapped for him.)
2. Sheng Wang learning to share his space. He went from not wanting anything to do with JT and his mother, to accepting them, and hugging and telling her they were family… #tears. He even gave up his comfort zone, to move to the dorms with JT.
3. The slow burn. Yes, I complained about it, but, I actually really love how we get to see how every little time and things they do together adds up to their moments, and slowly built up their affection for each other. Still so frustrating though! This is what happens when a slow burn is down well, it drives you insane and makes you crave for more.
4. Every back-hug/back carry— I lived for them, my fav was when Sheng Wang just jumped onto JT's back and made him carry him upstairs… I was grinning like an idiot.
5. When Sheng Wang saw those two teachers kiss. SKKSKSsksk his reaction sent me!!
6. Sheng Wang realising/confronting his feelings. His awaken. It was so well done, how remembered all the little moments between them, his little fantasy, and then deciding not to kiss JT. I way I was holding my breath that whole scene then...crickets. After waiting so long for this scene of him looking like he wanna kith, all we got was that?? Im under your bed writer/director!(SD: Jiang Tian being awake that whole time!! Damn, would homeboy have let his brother kith him and pretended to be sleeping? I see you homie! ^^)
7. Jiang Tian's very moments: LMFAO, finding out he orchestrated the whole kissing and truth or dare thing in ep1 was gold. Does this means he fell first, but Sheng Wang fell harder?
8. Every time JT rushed to SW’s aid, either to help or just stand there and support him, made me smile. And of course Sheng Wang was also there for him. Such supportive 'brothers'. I swear this year has not been a good one for single people, all these in love people been real annoying in their loveness-ness.
9. Gao TianYang and Pepper's friendship. The friend group in general.
10. When JT said, they should try 'getting closer' a chance.
Of course, everything wasn't sunshine. The story was very slow to progress, seemed the most we got was them doing something school related. There was little to no romance at all, and except for the two male teachers, there wasn't even any side stories of interest. I personally wanted to see how they deal with Qi JiaHao, and how his character progressed, he was annoying as hell, but quiet interesting with how his character was slowing going over to the edge because of the education system. Since they spent so much of the story in school, I wanted to see how that effected the characters. Perhaps if we get a second season.
Now, let's talk about that one unholy flashback reveal of what JT’s dad did with that man and the cigarette. I am still picking my mouth off the floor. Damn, with the door unlocked? on the bed you share with your wife? with your family pictures there too? Mfkers are so bold these days! Such audacity! The emotional trauma that left on that child. I heard from book readers that it left so much scars on JT and prolong their getting together, cuz he needed to stop hating, accept, then heal. So, now am wondering...
Anyway, I thought nothing was gonna top seeing all those butts on my screen when they lost the games. Well, there was that morning and the woods thing, but we don't talk about that, I'd laugh and been shocked enough over it. The production team is sure not shy, huh? Hopefully, y’all watching and hyping this drama. That director needs to give us a second season… you know… for the thing with the character… growth. yeah, we need s2 for character growth! yep. XD.
So like, we all thought those two teachers, who also owns that restaurant were dating right? The whole time I thought they were together, and getting jealous of each other because of the female teacher. Turns out they are not together and they both think the other wants the female teacher? Not gonna lie, was not that interested/invested in their story, but like how they were they for the kids. Though I wondered if they made any profit with how much free food they gave those hungry students.
Speaking of the female teacher. She was very extra, and not in a good way, she needed to be less. Though, I liked how she was just in her own world, buying mugs for a dude who's flipping barbecues with another dude. But like, after the thugs who kidnapped her were chased away, why weren’t there police around the school and stuff? They were so chill, she literally just went on with her day?? HMMMMM Janet, children goes here? Report it, including that psycho Qi JiaHao. This was not his first crime. Sure there was some off-hand comment about reporting it or something but then nothing. Okay? This is a serious matter, and all three adults involved sort of just---chilled. HUH?
Also, that one student, Qi JiaHao was such an annoying loser. This was my initial thought, but then it got me wondering. do people actually have to study that much/excessively in school, in some countries as it was here? Sure we all lived in the library and survived on coffee during exams and project week, but like damn, this whole education system seems so serious and stressful. If everything is as bad as shown here, then I do understand why Qi JiaHao is slowly losing his mind.
Side note: Taiwanese bls have been doing their thing this year. First with unknown, and now this. Here's to hoping we get more great shows from them.
All in all, this show was a good one. I truly enjoyed watching it, and would recommend it to all bl lovers, you're gonna enjoy this one. I am hoping for a second season, and looking forward to seeing more of work with the main leads, they were amazing in this. It's going straight to my list of fav dramas this year.
PLZ, PLZ, a season two!! We need it. I need it!!

Known Ex-Boyfriend
This drama is what disappointment looks like. But I can't even complain, cuz it's on me... I had too high expectations. I blame myself for this one, I disappointed myself. When I first learned about the premise of this, I was like. Oh, so Taiwan bls graduated from stepbrothers and are now going into the uncle business, sign me up. I was ready to be on my moral high ground while enjoying, and judging. Unfortunately, when the first episode aired and the intro was longer than the episode, I almost rioted.
Literally, the eff was this? It was all over the place. The plot needed time, which they didn't have, so it was rushed. And who the hell even propose like the uncle did in the finale? It felt like they ran out of budget in the location they were at, and had to leave, so the director was like, hurry up, quickly, put the ring on his finger and let's check out before we have to pay for another day.
Also, all that missed chances for them to meet and find out about each other was ridiculous. The mother even sent a picture, and you telling me after he returned to his phone he couldn't see it?? Then, it turned out the uncle knew the whole time any way? Meh.
Taiwan dramas almost never disappoint, so to see this one let me down, was unexpected. I'm not sure if it's due to the plot being whatever, or the execution, but this was not it. The story was very rushed, the secondary characters were uninteresting, and that basic arse bad guy came off whiny and childish with no depth. The main cp were there, didn't really get much from them either, and that mother was also there... really, everything about this disappointed me. Such a shame, this would have been an amazing bl if it had proper run time and the plot was well executed. Perhaps they lacked investment?
Anyway, if you wanna watch it, kudos to you, personally I won't recommend it. Hopefully the actors get a chance to work on something better in the future. One thing I liked about this though, was the theme song. Dafug you mean 'My love for you is 3 centimeters deep, not more, not less.' It made me laugh, so at least there was that.

LMAO They Left Atom’s Arse In Phuket
The side characters in this drama were as interesting as chalk. Also, Atom. Child. You touch people with that hand!!That being said. HAHAHAKKJSHFN That ending bedroom scene was just foul!! How you gon’ do that in broad-daylight with your grandmother sitting right there?? The poor woman had to listen to her grandchild getting eaten for two days while making dessert. Yikes.
Also, for a show trying to be ‘gangster’ they sure forgot that random bathtub gangster real quick. Mfer got killed and I was like ‘Oh, so what happened with that gangster group?’ and the writers were like ‘Whomst? We don’t know them. They don’t go here. '
ACTING:
Listen, I sometimes think most bl actors take their acting lessons from a block of cheese, or from like one of those red bricks, but I'd be the first to admit that MeenPing has improved. Sure, I still went ‘Child, what are you doing with your eyebrows? And it's your arms supposed to be doing that?’ more times than I can count, but their acting did not distract me as much as it did in their first two dramas. So yaaay for improvement. Love that for them.
What distracted me though was Ryu’s parent situation. Like, it’s Meen ever going to play a role where he has loving parents? In their first drama, his mother took half his kidney and ditch him at the corner of like a soup shop, he ended up a lonely gangster in the second one, and his mother here made him sleep in the dumpster because he liked to play basketball. I’m curious what his next parents are gonna bring to the table.
CHARACTERS
Like I said, the characters in this show were as interesting as a pineapple. Literally, except for Chogun, I have no idea what anyone’s name on the team was. I think two of them became a couple because the other one collected parking lot tickets or something? Whatever, I guess every show needs background noise.
I liked Ryu and Zen, sure Ryu came with a lot of baggages, that one gangster friend? and his mother, and Zen had his sick granny, but I like how supportive they were of each other. I enjoyed watching them together, they didn’t annoyed me so much and MeenPing had great chemistry. My fav part was when they were mature enough to let the other follow their own dream. Finally, there was no unrealistic love gestures like 'I'll move to Phuket with you' and I cheered.
That being said, did Ryu leave his fancy mansion to become a hobo, where he gets beaten every 2-to-3-business-days because his mama won't let him play basketball??
Zen came off as a pushover and at times I wanted to throw sticks into his hair for being a dumbass. Literally, he had so many chances to push Atom into that damn pool but instead he ended up in his bed. It seemed like he was afraid of setting boundaries. Be firm boy, no you don't want to go watch no darn movie!
And Atom. Oh ATOM. Antony my boy. Why? Homeboy just won’t give up and leave. Am I the only one who was like ‘aww poor Atom, such a nice guy, he deserves better’ in the beginning but somewhere along the way every time he showed up went, ‘My friend go sit somewhere, that’s enough of you.’ No really, Atom’s first coach must have told him the meaning of rebound, and homeboy decided to make it his entire personality, cuz why the eff did he keep coming back knowing full well he had negative 2.0 chance with Zen?
And what the eff was up with all the nonsense romantic gesture he made for Zen?
Listen, Romantic gestures are supposed to make you swoon and go ‘awww’ You know, like in the episode where Zen got on his tiny bike and rushed after Ryu when he was kidnap for the how-many-times-can-one-person-be-kidnap-and-beaten-until-it-gets-boring time? like:
ZEN: Ryu, wait for me, I’m coming to save you. I have no plan, no fighting skills. I in no way told anyone where I was going and of course I did not bring anything pointy or sharp. But, I love you sooo much and I am coming to rescue you. *in-love noises*
Me, slowly chewing my popcorn while Zen was being thrown around like a piñata.
ME: Dumbass nooo... they beaten your arse…yous is bleeding…but awww you came to save him. *cries in stupid love* #sosad
So yeah, stupid arse romantic gestures are supposed to make us swoon. So tell me why every time Atom made some sort of romantic gestures I wanted to snitch to his dad about it like: ‘Atom’s dad, come collect your boy, he’s out here making unnecessary romantic gestures and embarrassing his ancestors.’
Literally, nonsense stuff Atom did that no one asked him to do.
- Confronting his team alone: His arse got beaten and all he got from Zen was sympathy.
- Given up his scholarship: Sure, there’s nothing wrong with being in love with a guy you met under the public pool one time, but given up your future because the boy you have a crush on’s boyfriend got beaten is wild. Like was that supposed to make Zen fall for him?
- His arse getting left in Phuket. LMAO, what, he thought getting Zen that scholarship was going to make him love him? Boo-boo.
His character was created to be the second lead that never got the guy, so he didn't bring a whole lot to the table. Sure the writers tried to make him mysterious, and interesting with whatever the hell was up with him and his dad, and sure he quit his future for a guy he met at the bottom of the pool one time, but like he was a very nice fella in the beginning.
And, yes, he was born with a hand and knew how to use the pictures on his phone to you know—do stuff, but like, he was still such a nice fella until he got on my nerve for always inserting himself in their business, like dude, read the room, you are the elephant.
Side note: Atom sure knew how to use that photo galley on his phone huh?? ^^I don’t understand why he want a boyfriend when clearly, he and himself can have a good time all on their own. See how quickly the whole thing lasted, his hand must work wonders.
Anywho, I wanted to know what happened to him in the end, but I guess I can be satisfied with his arse getting left in Phuket.
LIN LIN LIN.
What was the reason Lin fell in love with Ryu? It felt like she woke up one random Thursday and went. ‘Let’s see, what’s on my to-do-list today?’:
1. Pretend not the see my dad’s drinking problem
2. Ruin the school’s basketball team cuz im nosy
3. Fell in love with that guy I saw through the fence one time
4. If there’s time, put my nose in Ryu’s family problems, cuz, yolo right?
No, Lin having a crush on Ryu made no sense to me? Atom’s crush I understood. He met a cute boy while sitting under the public pool that one Tuesday. So he fell for his rescuer, but what was the reason Lin had a crush on Ryu? Was it because she saw him through that fence one time on the basketball court?
Whatever, her nosy arse was so annoying, getting in everyone and their mama’s business but ignoring her own. Child your father is a drinking away your collage fund, hows about we focus on that, huh? Good luck to that one dude who confused to her, now he has to deal with her and her drunkard dad.
PLOT
i actually found myself watching most of the game, instead of fasting forward. Good camera angles and I was intrigued. That being said, there was not much of a plot going on here. The gangster plot went nowhere. That one bathtub dude died in a black scene, and these children who just witness so many deaths went home and took a nap.
Zen’s grandmother being sick got annoying, because what’s with parents figure hiding their sickness? It vexes me every time it happens. Do they think them suddenly dying and leaving their loved ones alone without any closure, and feeling guilty for not noticing their sickness will be the better option?? Arrggg.
And was Ryu’s mother allergic to basketball or something? homegirl was doing too much. Like, go take a nap.
Also, why the hell did the writers expect me to cheer for that coach? He’s an alcoholic who deserved to be fired. He caused the death of his wife, and still keeps drinking, even at school, and what does his daughter do, give him more. And even when he was in trouble for it, he was still drinking it in front of the students. The way I rolled my eyes when the board voted for him to stay. Talkng about ‘I wanna keep coaching’ how about you coach yourself some rehab first!! Nonsense. And did his hair keep getting blonder?
FINALE
The ending was rushed. We didn’t get to see why the school board change their mind, how it was in Phuket, and what became of Atom, but I guess this half baked conclusion is better than waiting for a season two, no?
I was so happy when the team lost, cuz Zen is such a dumbass. Who the hell tells his team and bf his moving to Phuket seconds before a big game? Literally, he couldn’t have waited?
And also was the other team waiting for them while they were having their moment in the middle of the game? You know, cuz now it’s the time to hug and take a breather. ‘Yes, you moving to Phuket. So what do you want, a medal?’ Thank God they lost, I’d have riot if they won.
HJAJAHAHHA LMAO. They forgot that gangster friend who found him in the dumpster, only to bring him in the finale and have him literally disappear after he said like two lines. Then they proceeded to show us he turned into some hooded stalker, with a montage of his and Ryu’s time together, and I’m just rolling my eyes going. ‘Move it along, I literally don’t care about this person.’
With all that being said, y’all lying if you say you didn’t want that throuple during that awkward bed scene. Hush your face, you know you wanted it. But like, that scene made me laugh so hard—poor Zen, if only his pushover arse knew how to say 'no'.
Oh and, that theme song was dope!!!
Anyway, if you like basketball and MeenPing give this a watch, it’s good for passing the time, and I recommend it.

That 12 years gap hurt
I'm just a loser with too much pride. Even so, don't abandon me. -- Dohoe made me tear up a little when he said this. This drama had me going through so many emotions. It's one of the best dramas I've seen this year, and I've seen quite a few.Listen, the beginning of this drama had me smiling. The awkwardness between them whrn they tried to kiss, made me go awww. So awkward, embarrassing and yet, adorable. I was sold on it already on the first episode, but then the 12 years gap happened, and I was like... huh? dafug you mean they haven't seen each other for 12 years? But they are in love. And then, when they got back together, but everything was so uncomfortable, I felt so sad for them.
Not gonna lie, a lot of things confused me in this drama:
1. Why the hell did Shin Juyeong kept in contact with Dohoe's abusive father? Sure, it would have made sense if by doing so, he got information on Dohoe's whereabouts, but he didn't, and yet he kept going back, taking care of him. Dude, he was literally beating you, and you were his student. And he did worse to his son, your lover. Like, why? what was his reason? Good people are such tree huggers!
2. Ha Hyeonho legit thought he could get Dohoe to like him. Boy, you and your friends beat him up, and your excuse was like, 'When we were beating you up you didn't cry, and, I bullied you because I like you.' Bish, did he really think that was gonna change anything? I thought for a second they were dating, and I was ready to riot.
3. Up until they flat-out showed Dohoe faking this documents, I had no idea what he did and what they were talking about. I was just nodding along.
4. If Dohoe was smart enough to fool that school to make him a teacher who was actually good, how did he keep failing his entrance exams? I thought he was paper smart, no?
5. So did he spend time in jail for that prison sentences or not? The voice over said it, then we just moved on. And what the hell happened to that boy's parents?
Yes, my fav character was Shin Juyeong because my man was such a green flag. Though, I still don't understand why he kept staying closer to that toxic father. When Dohoe showed up, and was angry with him, I understood, because why the eff would you be nice to that abuser. Not gonna lie though, when Dohoe started being pretentious and acting like he was better than Juyeong, I was so over him. Yes, you've been through trauma, but the way he kept treating Juyeong was not it. Unlike Juyeong, I almost gave up on him, and then when we found out what happened to him those past 12 years, I cried with them.
This drama was a rollercoaster of emotions, and I enjoyed every moment of it. Although in the end they seemed happy and in the process of getting there, I still wanted to know if they made it. You know, get some concrete closure. Did he finally passed the exams? Did Juyeong find a stable taekwondo job he loves? Open endings sucks, but imma just pretend they lived a good life.
All in all, great cast, the story was good and had depth and pulled you in. The actors were good and made us feel for the characters. It held my interest till the very end, so I highly recommend it to everyone who loves dramas and bls. I look forward to more from the actors in the future.

My Mother's Husband Is My Secret Lover
Nonsense dey for some peoples' backyard!! Dafug you mean, you caught your son having an affair with your husband, and you leave your own house, so your son can continue being with your husband, because he loves that scumbag? If this abomination happened in my backyard, the police would have collected that husband... that mother should have been knighted a saint cuz... fam!!!Listen, this show was something. Me, I love drama. I saw a clip of step-father and son holding hands at the wedding, and went... yes, that one right there... I need it like air. So yeah, I was seated, and watched it with both eyes opened... but damn, that finale had my blood boiling... I don't even know who to yell at the most.
THE SON:
This boy... was he stupid or naive? Sure, he might have been manipulated by an older guy who acted like he collected coupon's in secret, but damn son, that's your mother!!! Guy's mother was so loving to him, but he still decided to hurt her in the worse way possible. How are you going to look her in the eyes while you're doing the devil's tango with her husband, literally two doors down? What pains me, is how after they get it own, they eat the food she cooked.
I get that Guy was heart broken, desperate for love and Gott somehow took advantage of him, but boy should have stopped when that walking popsicle stand married his mother. And then in the end, he felt bad that Gott was cheating on him as well... Susan, did you think that talking piece of garbage loved you? He was literally cheating on his wife with you! YOUR MOTHER!! And Guy was crying, and I was rolling my eyes at him, cuz foolish boy you brought this upon yourself.
THE HUSBAND:
The Audacity of Gott in this drama needs to be studied. This guy had zero shame. After getting catch having a sexual relationship with his wife's son, man straight up said... 'Let's talk this out. Maybe the 3 of us can work something out, and we could get this going as a threesome, cuz we are a family and I love you.' BROTHER??? LIKE....I was gagged. THE EFFING AUDACITY!! And... and... after the wife left, he decided to stay in her house, with her son and continue their affair. I---at what point do people like that notice they are a piece of trash? Shame must hate this guy, cuz he couldn't locate his arse.
And he was such a sweet talker, this dude could sale your own shoes back to you doubled the prize. He managed to keep his secretary interested in him so she'd work harder, held an affair with some random guy/guys, married a wife, and then kept having another affair with his step-son. And every time he got caught, he bullshit talked his way through it. What a weasel.
THE MOTHER:
Many blessings to mothers like Rin, cuz, she was... a mother. Blood is thicker than water. She was able to forgive her son, even had her friend warn him about her scumbag husband. It hasn't happened to me, so I don't know how I'd react, but to see my beloved son having an affair with my husband? That shit would destroy me, and I don't know if I'd have the capability to forgive them. What I don't get though, is how she left her house for them? Girl, kick that loser out!! I can't believe she didn't even notice the affair. Like this dude spent so much time in your son's bedroom, and she just let it happened... but then again, what mother would suspect such a thing about a son and a husband she loved? I wished she'd protected her son more when she found out, instead of leaving him with Gott.
FINALE
Since it was only 4 episodes, the finale of cuz left some things unanswered. I wanted to know what became of the cabbage, and if his company with under. Imma imagined it did. I wanted to know if Guy, after two heartbreaks found someone new, and if the mother was able to ever loved again or even bring a guy around her house. I hope not, I wouldn't. Guy can't be trusted.
All-in-all, a dramatic watch. Interesting concept and with the few episodes we got, it was done well, though too short. I enjoyed the drama and the actors portrayed their characters well. I'll recommend it to anyone who likes drama and crazy plots like this one. Having an affair with your mother's husband is... yeah, watch for yourself.

Babe Went Full Savage
Listen. I'm not a sad person who hates happiness, but like, I hate happiness on Charlie, cuz dude was happy all the time. Ain't nobody that happy all the time. Also was he laughing or crying??? Could never tell the difference. And was Charlie necessary for this story? Did he need to be in the drama? Sure, he stole some power Babe wasn't even using and he faked his death one time, but like... he was just there! And what was the point of their powers? Seemed like they disappeared when they need them the most. I was like, okay good for you Babe, you can catch stuff flying towards your head, and?? I see something aiming for my head, I dodge, you are not special.
Anyway, before we start, I'd like to give Pavel his flowers. He was such a good actor in this, made everyone else look like they were being paid to act like trees.
Now to the review.
1) Nothing, and I mean nothing will get me to dislike 'Way'. I love that Mfer sooo much. Like, the moment he popped up on screen, I went, who's that? that one right there, WHO IS THAT.?? I don't know, must be Nut's aura or something, because nothing he did made me annoyed. And everything, and I mean, everything, annoys me.
2) Pavel's tattoo. Full savage indeed.
3) Charlie... well, I mean, he was in the drama. After we learnt of the reason he came into Pitbabe's life, I was like, sure, good for you, you power stealing, death faker, glasses wearing air-breather.
PLOT
Interesting storyline, but if it wasn't for tiktok comments and videos, wouldn't understand half of it. It was all over the place, and the only thing that kept me watching was Pavel's acting and Nut's face. And what was the point of that korean transfer racer person? Was his whole storyline to be kidnap and show us Charlie's noodle arms could hold its own in a boxing? Dude could have been replaced by one of those racing cars and I wouldn't even have noticed. Alan and Jeff's story was nice too. Tony should have suffered in a pit on Mars, or under a mountain, either would have been awesome. Way deserved so much better, deciding to go in the direction they did with him was not it.
And I refuse to talk about the Mama, Papa thing. Mfers out there trying to make me vomit up my lunch!
CHARACTERS:
Loved: Pitbabe and Way
Liked: Jeff, Alan, and that boss person who sponsored them? forget his name. I could look it up while typing this but... nah too much work.
Tolerated: Charlie. Like I said, dude was in the drama, circling around Babe, it was hard not to notice him. He was there!! Smiling.... all the time. Though, I did like that we finally had a top who wasn't the traditional good at everything, cool, arrogant and non-chalant.
Tony: Oh man, dude did all that! All that, and he just up and die. ARGGGGG.
Kenta, oh boy. What a shoe licker. Where to begin. Dude was such a bummer. Like a train crash you can't look away from. I wanted to hug and slap him at the same time. Towards the end, I legit did not care whether he lived or die.
POWERS:
Way supposedly can manipulate people into doing whatever he wants, and he waited all those years to get Babe? And ALAN'S POWERS. Talk about if useless was a person. Dude got the gift of foresight and he did nothing, nothing with it!!
ACTING.
Pavel left everyone in the dust. Pooh was there... smiling and wearing glasses. I guess. that's something. Nut, well, like I said must be his aura, can't find anything wrong to say about him. Everything he did was top notch, bestest boy. Some of the actors were decent as well.
OVERALL:
A decent watch, wasn't the greatest, but I can see a lot of people really loving it. This could have easily been a 5 star thing, but then they off'ed Way and that was when I drew the line. Overall, watch it, if not for anything for Pavel's acting.

Hey, You, Stop, I'm Not The Problem Here.
I must be doing this whole Poor thing wrong, cuz why Min out here complaining about being dirt poor, but homeboy have two mansions, expensive looking fashion clothes, and went to kidnap someone and got himself a super rich boyfriend? If that was being poor, then may this level of poorness locate me, please. Also, the moment Min zoomed into the picture of Q, I went... 'Peoples, we've lost a brother, his arse ain't gonna kidnap nobody, he looking for a husband.' Min was the worse kidnapper ever. He sucked. Mfer was a glorified babysitter.Listen, the premise of this show was interesting, a handsome boy who looks like a 90s heartthrob Hollywood star, goes to kidnap someone and ends up falling in love. You know, typical case of Stockholm syndrome, but like the bl edition. I was sold, cuz Ohm is a good actor, and him and Leng seemed to have a good chemistry. So tell me why, halfway through the series, my bored arse was ready for it to be over?
And don't even get me started on that cringy Mary Jane and Spider-man scene. Was it cute, probably, but I was cheesing the whole time. One thing about that scene though, it made me realised one of Min's mansion was like in the middle of water or something, or was it a pool. Damn, to be so richly poor must be be hard.
In all honesty, this series should have been 8 episodes long at most. Even so, it should have ended at episode 11, cuz it was slow paced and dragged on. Half of what happened could have been cut and we'd still would have had enough to make the same show.
CHARACTERS
First off, that one man in the credit opening scene, who apparently was the one who hired them to kidnap Q. That man was in the drama for like two episodes, at best he was like an extra, so why the eff was he in the opening? I was so confused.
Anyway, Yes, MinQ had good chemistry, and they gave the best they could with the script they were given. The acting was good, though gonna be honest, in some crying scenes with Q, I went, 'Dude is you crying, laughing or sniffing glue?' Lol, but other than that, good acting and chemistry. Mhen was a good character as well, really liked him and looking forward to his new series with Mark. As for the secondary characters, they didn't have enough to stand out. I'm still wondering how that one friend went from working on movie sets to knowing people looking for a hitman.
Also, I just watched Q's father in that drama where he was cheating on his wife with her son, so whenever he was on the screen being a policeman, my brain automatic went, 'shouldn't you put yourself in jail' lol, but yeah, as a father to Q he sucked in the beginning, but towards the end he did change, which was good, I guess. Though, seeing how the woman he kept putting in jail always came back like a boomerang, what was the point of him putting Q's life in danger for?
VILLIANS:
The bad guys in this show were like Houdini, they disappeared most of the show, then bam, they back doing some stuff. Like that woman was in and out of jail so many times, she might as well have made it her vacation home. And also what the hell was happening with episode 11 stand-off scene? This woman had a gun in her hand, instead she just pointed it real hard at Q's dad, doing nothing until Min showed up, not even from behind her, but in front, to kick it out of her hand?? WHAT EVEN? And after all that, Min got shot in the stomach, and that director want me to believe it was just a glaze that left no scars?? LITERALLY, what even are we doing here?
The end to that big bad villian was laughable: What even happened? They sent her to jail, then suddenly she is out with a vague reason, and then some random person shot her dead?? Listen, if the son of that one man was going to get revenge, we needed to see something. This woman is the big bad, so her demise should at least make some sort of sense, but it all felt so rushed and flat, it became irrelevant. They made space for Q's dad glancing at his uniform, but couldn't let us such an important part of the plot.
Finale:
Damn, they really threw everything but the kitchen sink into that finale huh? And the episode seemed to go on forever, I doze off like more than four times, and had to rewind. Still, nothing interesting really happened though, no follow up on that random dude who shot the big villain. This drama should have ended way before it did. As it is now, it just drags with not much interesting stuff going on.
Anyway, as their first series, Ohmleng did well, The script could have been waay better than it was, but personally, I think the premise of the plot was interesting, except the production team did not execute it to its full potential and ended up given us a somewhat boring, convoluted show that let many of us rather underwhelmed.
I'll still recommend this to everyone, it's good for a one time watch. I am looking forward to Ohm and Leng's next drama, hopefully, they get a script worthy of their capabilities.

I Can Still Hear Ai going... P'YUUU...
Peoples, we got a rapping confession, followed by a guitar scene confession. It was a two-in-one double kill. I almost didn't make it out alive. It was brutal. Also, did anyone want to reach into the screen and shake P-Yu when he was treating his ex-girlfriend like precious cargo right in front of Ai's salad?Well, that ending was super anticlimactic, after all that dreaming that was it? A pull out knife, and a neck brace? Arite then. It was also very criminal how we didn't get a last moment between Yo and Ing, we were robbed and I wanna have words with whoever was in charge of the script.
Anyway, can we talk about how dirty they did Wan. Sure, the dude just couldn't take a hint that Ai wasn't interested, and Yo misguided way to help backfired, but damn, did they have to do my man like that? Screaming on top of your lungs that you don't like him was just wild. Poor dude, he better than me though, still helping Ai, me, I'd have never shown my face to him again.
This show is one of those that grows on you. When it started I was like, meh, really? But along the way it became my comfort show, it was wholesome and I enjoyed watching it. The two pairs had good chemistry, the plot, when the writers remembers their main objective wasn't bad, and I had a few chuckles. Oh, and the parents were really kind, which was refreshing to see.
Listen, the writers had a good plot, however, they did not execute it to its full potential. At some point it felt like they forgot the main plot-line, so they had all those floating dreams to fill the gap. They even forgot how Ai was playing some investigator or another with that closet wall full of drawings and stuff. They could have done so much more with this plot, instead they tiptoed around it to show us a whole episode with Yu's ex, Pan.
No, cuz what in the random arse was them dedicating a whole episode to Yu's ex for? When she returned I was like, 'oh, you still in this show?' then they gave her a whole episode as a result of things that didn't happen on screen. Who even cared about that character? Sure they needed that side-story for that Ice fellow to play a part in the finale, but a whole arse episode for characters no one cares about is wild.
And she only added to my anger. Yes, I felt bad for her, was even rolling my eyes at that annoying Ice and going 'how about you go melt somewhere creep.' but at the same time, let's be honest, she put herself in that situation. She had a good boyfriend, living in a big arse mansion (how they pay for that house? or did their parents leave them stack of paper in the bank?) who loved her, and she broke up with him, so she could go fake date someone and became famous. I felt bad for her, but the whole time when she was there and Yu was treating her like a newborn baby, feeding her and making my blood pressure go up, I was like, yeah, Sharon, you walked into that one yourself.
YU AND AI
These two were cute when they were bickering in the beginning of the show. And their little church scenes. P'Yu always somehow managed to make Ai angry. I did like their friendship, and when they got together as well. I assumed Ai was gonna be passive in the relationship, but he wasn't, episode 10 ending had me going... ooo... so this is where we are at? okaii. I liked how protective of each other they were. I also really love how it seemed like they lived in two houses, just going from one to the other, and the parents were so chill about the whole thing.
However, these two needed to communicate. Ai putting himself in constant danger was not it, all of those could have been avoided if he'd communicated with Yu. Sure he didn't want him to worry by keeping his dreams a secret, still, feels like trusting the one you love is better than keeping secrets that are putting you in harms way.
Yu had me until he decided to be a good guy and help his ex-girlfriend. Yes, yes, I understand, and in reality if an ex needed help, I'd have done the same, but damnnnn that episode made me glare at him over my popcorn and wine. Another place I was glaring was when Ai took all those pills. Child, you cannot be this stupid, sure your friend gave you a bad advice, but surely, Ai knew how dangerous it was, no? And to think nothing happened to him. They shook him a bit and he woke up. #facepalm.
But all in all, cute couple, wholesome-ish, it was nice seeing their friendship grow into love. They did well as leads and had me invested in their story. I really liked how they felt like a happy family with the rest of the cast, all those eating together scene was very heart-warming.
YO AND ING
Now, we were all rooting for them, seeing as anyone with eyes could see that Yo liked Ing back. What I didn't like was Ing's attitude when he confessed and more-or-less got rejected. Yes, it was frustrating to see Yo pretend, but when all was said and done, it felt like Ing somehow forced Yo to accept his feelings? I don't know, he deserved to be angry, but stopping to be his friend, and all that anger was not it. Still I was happy when Yo finally accepted his feelings and they got together. I cringed so hard during that rapping scene, was it cute, perhaps, but I watched it between my fingers out of secondhand embarrassment so...but anyway, glad they figured out their stuff and got together. Cute and whatnot.
All-in-all a nice show. It wasn't the greatest, but it grew on me, and it had its moment. I'll recommend it to anyone looking for something a bit different other than school setting as a main focus. I'll definitely be checking out the future work of the cast.

Lots of Summer Days
Lune = the moon. Personally, I don’t believe in the moon, I think it’s the back of the sun… still, I understand why Lune came off as a red flag. Ever heard of the blood moon? Anyway, is Star like a friend of Sera's or an enemy? I can't believe my WhiteIvy ship didn't sail... my year is ruin until January 25th. :((((Look, I don’t know what school y’all went to, but in what class would anyone not notice a student like Lune? Dude was tall with hair, brooding, and looked like an angel coo'ed every time he breathed. Like?? Lune being an invisible kid was so far-fetched I’d sooner believe thai bls would one day stop the guitar scene than to believe Lune is a loser. Like did y'all see his model face during that runaway show??
There was a lot of drama on this show. Good, and nonsense drama. Many hated Lune when White punched him, some sided with White cuz he felt like an extra and background prop. Most of us were team #WhiteIvy, while a lot of us called Star names for acting unreasonable, and of cause, we all swoon whenever Jewel and Tan were on the screen. Avadakedavra and whathaveyous.
But listen, when that drama that separated them happened, I did not side with anyone. Matter of fact, I almost lost an eyeball rolling my eyes at White’s dramatic arse, and Lune’s pathetic face.
I UNDERSTOOD WHITE:
but he was annoying for acting like he trademarked Star.
Yes, if I brought a loser invisible boy who look like a cover star into my friend group, asked him if he like my crush, he says no, then said crush rejects me, and I later find out he’s dating her, and my friends are now hanging out with him and ignoring me… I too, would punch him and disown him.
White’s pain, and feeling betrayed was justified. He had a reason for feeling the way he did. The pain from the reject was still fresh, and with how they were ignoring him to protect him, it was no wonder he blew up in their face, and especially felt more hurt with Ivy, since she was the one he confined in the most.
BUT BUT… boy! Come on. Like, this girl rejected you, give it a rest and go find something to eat. Sometimes, I don’t understand the ‘code’. The unspoken rule about not dating someone who a friend have a crush on or dated. Hmm, just because they don’t vibe with you, I ain’t allow to feel for them? Boy was acting like he had trademarked Star, when she literally rejected him by saying she liked someone else.
That being said, White was my fav character. He was such a good friend and an amazing human being. Being there for this friends, taking the blame to protect Nana. I felt sad for him when he was rejected, but my arse was highkey shipping him with Ivy, so like, it made me happy. I kind of get why they didn't end up together, their friendship was waay too good to ruin, but still, it hurts. Also, he gave the best advice, we all need a friend like that. The only advice I ever gave my friend was to never say no to free food. She'd gain weight now, but she hasn't paid for meals in a while...so #winning. AND, he slayed that runway.
I UNDERSTOOD LUNE:
But homeboy was such a people pleaser and a try hard. Lune as a character was one of those red flag that comes with green wrappings. The worse thing being he himself didn’t even know he was a red flag. Sure, he was a good person and tried to do the right thing always. But by putting everyone before himself, he literally drove everyone around him insane.
Dumping Sera with no explanation. Sure he got his arse whooped, but at least if he’d explained, poor girl would have moved on. Telling White 'bros-before-hoes' only to turn around and date his crush in secret, boy!! The trouble he went through for White when he got in that scandal, all so he could apologise for dating a single girl who agreed to go out with him. And the whole driving his girlfriend crazy by trying to give his ex-girlfriend the time of her life.
All these was a good attempt on his part, but also made him come off as a red flag. At one point during that dinner, I was like...OMG will you shut up about Sera??? I understood he wanted to make up to her, but the way he did it, if I was his girlfriend, I too will yell at him in the rain. Heck, would have thrown all those plates on the ground for dramatic effect ^^
As the main character, Lune was dull, sure most of the events evolved around him, but he still seemed so grey, not a lot of color. I admit, I did like his character and was cheering for him to stop being a bish and admit he likes Star back. That being said, I liked how effortlessly Lune and Star's relationship developed, and how warm they felt.
I UNDERSTOOD STAR
Did Star come off as a fake friend for how unreasonable she was being towards Lune’s intention to make Sera's last couple of days memorable? Yes! BUT, GIRLLLL. Her boyfriend literally had an ex who was like her long lost doppelgänger, like, they had the same interests and they both came off very kind, smart, cute, demure. I too would have thoughts, and to keep hearing about their past, that must have hurt. I was surprise she didn't blow up sooner.
So yes, I understood her. and Lune just couldn’t take a hint, Sera this, Sera that, like, child would you keep quiet? Though, I thought she was smart enough to communicate before it came to that point when it got too much for her, but we all know what happened.
As a character, Star was…well, she didn’t annoy me to the point I gave up on her, so good. But her friendship with Sera felt so conditional, that it came off fake. Yes, you are jealous and your boyfriend can't take a hint, but communication is the key girl. Her giving an ultimatum was such an arse move. But am glad Sera understood her, gave Lune's thick head advice, and in the end they became genuine friends.
IVY IS MY GIRL
She was a very good friend. I like how she let go of her long crush and immediately supported Star and Lune. I felt for her when White was mad at her, sometimes being a good friend sucks. I love when she bantered with White and their friendship. We all deserve a friend like her. She was my third fav character. I'm high key super sad we didn't get a WhiteIvy ending, but, but he didn't close that stupid line she drew though...so there's hope.
JEWEL AND TAN RULES
Need I say more? Their scenes were so precious, and I loved how Jewel was so rich rich he was flat out naive. I love their interactions. I was laughing so hard when Tan was talking about the hardship in his life, and Jewel was like, 'Yeah, I understand, sometimes I don't know what car to choose.' CHILD! That's not... That's not even remotely relatable. He was basically like, I'm soo rich, it's exhausting. And Tan just stared like, 'ain't life bish.' skskkss. Jewel was my second fav character, homeboy just went off to the side and fell in love with a Harry Potter impersonator who made coffe, and missed all the actions. Jewel waiting a year to go to Uni with Tan was... tears. Yeah, I loved them, wish them whatever comes after 'the end'.
Anyway, I am nosy. Sometimes, I pull up on twitter with a glass of wine and popcorn, cuz some of y’all have some juicy drama. So yeah, when I saw two bl actors were gonna do a f/m lakorn, my arse immediately stood up! Going in, I wasn't expecting much, but I was surprised at how good this was. I came to look forward to it every week. Phuwin and Dunk's acting was better here than the bls I last saw them in. I like seeing how they've improved, hopefully they take it to their next projects as well.
Star's mother suddenly understanding her, when she's been a helicopter mom forever was far-fetched, but am glad we at least got to see that she and Lune had a supportive family behind them. I liked that Sera seemed to have become part of the group, and Lune was no longer a people pleaser. I'm satisfied with the ending we got, but super sad about my ghostship. WhiteIvy will always be in my heart.
All-in-all, cast did what they were supposed to, bringing their characters to life. The plot itself was nothing new, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The drama exceeded my expectations, and so I'll recommend it to everyone looking for a high school drama. This was my first ever thai f/m drama and I was not disappointed. Give it a watch.
Looking forward to more work from the cast, especially Ryu and Java.

Fated To Annoy You
One night stands. Forced weddings. Pastors who serve coffees and ballet dancers who can afford long distance phone calls. An unexpected baby is about to stir things up and none of these people are safe! This drama started off well, but by the end of it, I was like: 'Seriously, who wrote this? is this really where we are heading?'
Since this drama has wasted enough of my time, I’m just going to write a small review and move on with my day.
This drama was on point, when it started, I enjoyed the heck out of it. Already in the beginning, some random guy walks into a commercial set and takes it over, and I’m already in love with him.
Yes, the plot was good. The characters were interesting, and it had my attention, but then suddenly, everything went downhill. The second male lead starts singing, and the main male lead starts looking for a tree??? Like, what in the eff was happening? Where the hell are we?? Who's driving this thing?
Basically, I had no idea what the eff was going on anymore, and at that point, I was only watching it because I’ve come this far, and dropping it would mean admitting defeat! Really, everything that happened after the baby was a no from me.
And can I ask? What the hell was up with all the randomness and the constant flashbacks? We watch a scene, and one minute later, someone is remembering it in a flashback! Eww! Enough already, we do not have the memory of a gold fish!!
What made me finally gave up on it was how all of a sudden, the loving and funny characters became obnoxious. I wanted to punch the male lead every time he did that laughter thing he had going on. What the hell was up with that? It got under my skin so much I ended up not liking him, and he was my fav in the beginning.
The writers attempt to make the female lead strong just made her annoying, and I couldn’t stand her. The second female lead became pathetic and ridiculous, wanting someone she couldn’t have, and the second male was just a sad SOB.
Truthfully, I really wanted to love this drama, but I couldn’t, because at the end of the day it was a giant disappointment! The only good thing that came out of this drama to me is that one song: Goodbye My Love by Ailee, that's the real mvp of the series.
Would I recommend it? No, I’m saving you from hours of your life you’d never get back.
You're welcome.
