Tazza is not going to be everyone's cup of tea. That's probably why not a lot of people have seen it. However, I'm glad I watched it cause I was able to learn quite a lot...

The story idea didn't interest me in the beginning but as it started getting into the gambling aspect it became very interesting to watch. And then the plot just started to move quickly with twists coming out at every corner. The romance portion is very very light so if your more interested in that then this wont be the drama for you. Revenge is the theme.

The ensemble cast was awesome! Jang Hyuk is love of course but the supporting cast was really really good and stood out. Each minor character plays a large role in Go Ni's master plan. They were quite memorable.

Rewatch- I'd rewatch this in a few years cause i really did love all the characters.

Overall this drama is different but exciting enough. More people should give it a chance.

I’ve been trying to watch Country Princess for a couple years now but had never been able to find it subbed; it previously became available on Crunchyroll so I decided to watch it right away…

Story: I knew from reading the synopsis it would be an interesting story but I had no idea all the unexpected things that were going to happen. Bae Doona’s character had more than enough of her shared tragedy I’ll tell you that. There was some subtle comedy but it really can be classified as a family melodrama. Now there were some things that I didn’t like about it though. First, the romance was written in a way that had me confused. In the beginning you think she is going to end up with one guy but close to the end you still don’t know which guy she will end up with till the very end. Another thing I didn’t like was the birth secret really didn’t have the closure I was expecting. It gets drawn out to the every end without anything really being solved. As for the ending it was okay but could have been better.

Acting/Cast: I already know Bae Doona is an excellent actress (have seen quite a few of her past works) but she was really perfect as Eun Hee. Now as for her character, she can come off as borderline crazy and sometimes off putting but when you get past all that you will see her as a tough, hardworking family girl that you can root for. The actress that played her Unni was good (not as good as Doona) but I hated her character. I didn’t feel sympathetic for her character in the end and it pisses me off she gets to keep her cushiony life after all the evil things she did to her own sister. As for the guys, they were just okay not really impressive as the girls but they both had chemistry with the ladies. I think the writers screwed up when writing their characters though. At times they were both unlikable and I just didn’t understand some of their decisions. The actress that played the mom was brilliant and although she can be seen as evil, you will feel sympathetic for her character.

Music: Not memorable but I do like that it wasn’t in your face. I hardly remember what was used.

Rewatch: Really liked the story but the characters (except for Eun Hee) wasn’t memorable so I cant say whether id rewatch this or not. It’s a possibility though.

Overall Country Princess is one of the better older dramas I’ve seen, that I would recommend.

I dont even know why I started watching this show because I dont like sports. I mean the only person I knew from the cast is UEE but I didnt even like her character in Your Beautiful. But for some reason I wanted to see if her acting was any different...

Story- UNPREDICTABLE. The story starts off slow (not to the point of being bored) and is too focused on the character of Hae Ryung (not UEE's character)but by episode 10 things start to pick up and become super interesting because it focuses on UEE's character. The last episode made me want to rip my hair out. The ending kept in line with the unpredictable theme. Its probably the worst ending Ive ever seen in my life! Seriously if it werent for the first 23 eps having solid writing i would have rated the story lower just because of the sorry ending.

Acting- UEE can act her butt off! She changed my opinion of her (hated her in YB). The rest of the cast all made thier characters believable. I really despised the character of Hae Ryung though (very pathetic and no character development until the last ep.)

Music- Nice enough music that was memorable but nothing that i would be obsessed with.

Rewatch- If it werent for the ending Id probably would have rewatched it in 2 yrs or so but i have no wish to rewatch this drama, although it is at least rewatchable.

Overall this drama had huge potential but the lack of a believable romance and the nonsensical ending really ruined the good feelings i had about this show throughout its run. I'd still recommend this drama though because the writing is good and the acting is very good.

I wasn't really looking forward to watching Can You Hear My Heart just because the summary made it sound like it was going to be really weird/boring. But I love Hwang Jung Eum & Nam Goong Min and read positive reviews for it so decided I would try the first episode out...

Story- the first few episodes told the child stories. Normally I’ll fast forward through these because I don’t have the patience but I found the story compelling already. By the time the time the adult characters come on you are already immersed into the story and wanting to see how these damaged characters grew up and how they come together. This drama made me laugh and cry. The ending was just perfect=)

Acting/Cast- The acting was perfect by everyone. I am a new fan of Kim Jae Won! He portrayed his deaf character so well. Really spectacular acting by NGM. His character had so many layers and he was able to portray his complex character so well that I was able to feel Maru’s pain.

Music- Lovely score.

Rewatch- I’d watch this again in 2 years. That will give me enough time to forget a lot that happened. I loved the cast so i would want to see this again sooner than later.

Overall for a drama that is 30 eps, it is worth the watch because it’s so well written and acted.

I’m not an avid historicals watcher but the fact that it had a large main cast of actors I like definitely got me curious enough to try out the first couple eps…

Story: It was like I was watching three different dramas because the plot changed so much and there were many time jumps. The first part is about Ji Sang growing up meeting both his loves and discovering he is a Seer. The second part is romance, political war, and the journey of Lee Sung Gye to be come King. The last part is tragedy central and the eventual crowning of Lee Sung Gye. The ending is bittersweet so expect both sad and happy endings for our main characters.

Acting: I'm going to start with our 3 male leads since they got the most screen time compared to the gals. Ji Jin Hee mostly has played stiff characters from the dramas I’ve seen but I got to say you haven’t seen him play a character like Lee Sung Gye. His character development was so awesome as he starts off as what seems like a crazy lunatic eventually becoming what you’d expect from the King of Joseon. I’ve only seen Ji Sung in Protect the Boss but he plays a different character in this. He did a great job portraying his character that experiences different personality changes from playful to serious/dramatic due to circumstances. Song Chang Ui played the villain well and his chemistry with Lee Yoon Ji was so great that I was rooting for their characters to get together and find their own happiness. As for the 2 female leads, they were perfect, as I would expect from them. There were MANY supporting characters and they all were able to make their characters stand out because a lot of them came and went as the plot kept changing, I found myself wondering what happened to them or I felt bad when their character was killed off.

Music: What you would expect from a historical drama but nothing particularly memorable.

Rewatch: I wouldn’t mind watching this again cause the plot was fresh but not for a while cause the drama is long and it was kind of sad.

Overall whether you like historicals or not the Great Seer will not waste your time and it’s a very intriguing ride.

Wow so a family drama with not so popular actors and a dull sounding synopsis, its not a wonder why this drama isn’t on anyone’s radar…

Story: First, everything about the drama after the first sentence of the synopsis is misleading. In fact it just gives a summary of the main female characters background (everything that happens to her before the time that the drama takes place). Everything that happened during the dramas run was so unpredictable, which I never expect from family themes dramas. I don’t want to give anything away but be prepared for a ton of drama. What I liked most about it though was the fact that the writers balanced the funny scenes with the emotional stuff really well. I laughed a lot in the beginning but by the last few episodes towards the end it gets pretty heavy making me shed many tears. I just wanted to add that there is romance in this but its very subtle and not the focal point of the story. The ending is sad, happy, and hopeful all in one if that makes sense.

Actors/Cast: This was an ensemble cast where all the characters get a chance to shine even if they only had small roles. When it comes to the 2 female leads, I had never seen anything they had acted in before but wow you can tell they are veterans. They gave powerful performances. Anyone who has ever heard of Shin Hyun Joon (Stairway to Heaven, Cain and Abel, Bridal Mask) will know what an amazing (and underrated in my opinion) actor he is but wow his character in this was so unexpectedly different than any of his characters. As for the supporting cast, they made their characters memorable and the villains did a tremendous job of me hating them but also feeling pity for them by the end.

Music: They did a pretty good job with matching the changing tone of the show.

Rewatch: I will rewatch this one day sometime soon but not right away cause this drama is pretty heavy.

Overall Dummy Mommy is an unexpected but heartwarming and enjoyable must watch family drama.

The Musical started off so strong. The first couple episodes were funny and the leads had a good chemistry...

When the characters were actually working on the musical it was very interesting. Then somewhere in the middle the story took several directions. Towards the end it became just very dramatic and there was no focus on musicals. I actually forgot that this drama was called the Musical just because there wasnt that much music. I didn't watch the end but heard it was rushed so I'll probably just read a recap. Still though for most of the time the story kept my interest.

I think the casting was perfect...except for Ko Hye Sun. I think what brought the quality down was her poor singing voice. Also, her character development was poorly written so that plus her awful voice just made it hard to want to root for her. Daniel Choi was perfect in his role. I did like all the supporting characters.

The music was memorable but nothing I'd want to listen to outside the show.

I'm not sure If Id rewatch this or not.

Overall if this drama was written better and casted with a better female lead it would have left a lasting impression but since thats not the case I'd just rate it as being average but worth watching once.

I'm on a Jo In Sung kick right now so even though Shoot for the Stars is very outdated, I thought the premise sounded fun and it wouldn’t hurt to give it a try…

Story: Predictable but it had a lot of heart. It never got draggy and the pacing was well done. Since the OTP had a straightforward romance with no misunderstandings, it made for a really enjoyable watch. The ending was =)

Acting/Cast: Well of course I knew Jo In Sung going in and how well he could act, but I was kind of unsure about the lead actress. I found her portrayal of Sora spot on but her character is kind of loud and annoying in the beginning. When you get used to her, you will come to accept her for who she is. I was also completely surprised by the amazing chemistry between the leads. It was soo good and worth watching just for their romance. I really liked the side characters that were apart of their posse. I didn’t however, like the second female and male leads. Their characters were so not redeemable and it made ALL of their scenes a waste of screentime in my opinion.

Music: What you would expect from an oldie.

Rewatch: Definitely would watch again in the near future cause the pacing was good and I loved the leads together.

Overall you should watch this is you’re a fan of JIS or if you like heartwarming dramas with lots of romance.

If this didn’t have ideal casting why did I bother checking it out? TvN tends to produce not boring dramas and Im always on the lookout for a good medical drama…

Story: Often intense but also mixed quite well with humor. Plot wise it hasn’t done anything different Ive seen in all the other medical dramas but I found myself glued to the screen wondering if these two brothers will be able to mend their hostile relationship and also who would end up with who romantically in the end (the romance was VERY light but there is a OTP made clear by the end). So while I did find the romance weak, the writers did a good job establishing an actual plot, while focusing on certain patients and not stuffing several medical cases down our throats like a lot of the medical dramas ive seen tends to do (making it repetitive and causing me to lose interest). The ending is a bit up in the air for one of the characters but all in all i liked it. I think what made the story so enjoyable was the excellent pacing.

Acting/Cast- Ive seen the 3 main actors before but their not on my got to watch their dramas list. However, I came to like the casting choices because the chemistry was there and the acting was solid. The Girls Generation member Soo Young pleasantly surprised me. I didn’t think I would like her (this was her debut an actress) but she really did a phenomenal job playing Eu Jin who had to go through a lot of obstacles. A lot of the plot centered around her character also so if she didn’t make her character believable, the drama could have gone south for me.

Music: Didn’t care for the music but the score was kind of intense.

Rewatch: I wouldn’t mind rewatching because it wasn’t boring, but I don’t really see a reason to watch it again cause im not obsessed with the actors nor was I blown away by the story.

Overall Third Hospital is a very watchable series whether you like medical dramas or not.

Never thought I would find a drama about boxing so interesting…

Story- It’s about loss, finding love through that loss, and forgiveness. Really well written in that, the writers managed to balance the love-lines and boxing theme. There wasn’t a single episode where I felt bored and the episodes flew by fast. There were some things that I didn’t like about the story though. This includes all the scenes involving the CF President (obsessed with the female lead character) and also all the angst in the second half of the drama. I really really wish they had only a few episodes where the main female character can’t forgive the male lead character. You have to make it through to the very end before forgiveness/reconciliation occurs. The ending wasn’t bad but it was kind of disappointing for what the writers made us go through with all that angst.

Acting/Characters- Shin Min Ah was perfect and her character development was interesting. She starts out as a likable character but halfway through her character changes physically and emotionally, and not for the better. And Can I just say how awesome Joo Jin Mo is?! He is a versatile and phenomenal actor. I’ve seen him in so many things and this character is just so different and out of the box for him. I seriously loved his character because you could tell he loved the main female so much and my heart kept breaking for him during all the scenes the main female character showed her hatred for him. The other main male actor (who seriously is no rival) was just awful. His lack of acting skills and the fact that the writers made his character so unlikable just made his scenes (unfortunately he has a lot) unbearable to watch. His character wasn’t even that evil but he had no redeeming qualities and I had no sympathy for him at all. I mean he doesn’t even give up the female lead till the very end! He is pathetic and just a worthless character who didn’t offer anything to the drama. On a different note, the supporting cast was perfect. I liked that the writers gave the supporting cast prominent roles and I enjoyed the love triangles of the female lead’s 2 female friends.

Music- Matching angsty music but also has Christina Augielera’s “Stronger” as a running theme which matches the boxing theme of the show.

Rewatch- I am going to rewatch this cause the acting was really good but not for a couple years cause of the high angst.

Overall Punch plays like an extended top quality sports movie. Whether you like sports themed dramas or not you will be able to watch this. Your enjoyment of the drama might dwindle towards the last quarter though, because the female lead character becomes really unlikable and there are misunderstandings and too much angst!

I just happened to come across this drama a few months ago while searching for a good J drama to watch cause I hadn't seen one in a while...I was only able to finish it recently cause the rest of the eps finally got subbed=)

Story- The story was simple but never boring. The first part deals with bullying but most of the plot is just the trials that the couple faces in order to stay intact. I found myself becoming too into the romance between the leads. A lot of the scenes they had together were awkward in a good way, they made me laugh because it really was cute. I liked how they came together as friends first because they had something in common (they wanted to escape from their reality). The Kingyo Club is the place where they could that. I even wanted to be a part of their club too! lol. The ending is sweet.

Acting/Cast- Most of the cast is newbies which really surprised me. The acting was very natural which I'm not used to seeing in J dramas. The leads were phenomenal and had an amazing chemistry. They really made the cutest couple ever. The supporting cast all played thier roles well. The villains were villainy but you still felt sympathetic for them.

Music- Fit the scenes well but nothing I'd listen to outside the show.

Rewatch- This drama is short and I loved the leads so I definitely could rewatch this every year.

Overall Kingyo Club might be simple but its a very memorable piece.

DNG is the weirdest movie you will ever see!

The story starts off as just another teen comedy but turns into something just completely insane towards the end. I seriously felt like I was on drugs watching this (You'll see what I mean). This movie has teen troubles, a transvestite business Unnie, a Cyclops student, transgendered student, a prostitute student turned dancing video sensation, a man principle turned lady dragon, and plenty of laughs. You will be saying WTF am I watching throughout the entire movie but that's what makes this movie fun to watch.

The cast is mostly unknowns but they managed to make thier roles believable.

Really loved the use of color.

I'd recommend this movie because its funny and out of the ordinary.

This a really great movie. Its interesting to see how each of the 4 couples relationships remain throughout the 2 years that they are separated due to their military service. Couples you expect to stay together, break apart and couples you expect to dissolve surprisingly flourish. I loved the entire cast but especially enjoyed the performance by Jang Hee Jin ( can be seen in Spy Myungwol) because her character was different than what i'm used to seeing from her other roles. My only problem with this movie is not enough Jang Gun Suk lol. No but really this movie is really interesting and has a cool cast of characters. I loved it and will easily watch again!

The story imitates real life. Friendship turns into romance. Basic very straightforward story. It's one of the better realistic dramas. very refreshing actually.

The acting is very natural by everyone. You believe the large group of friends have been friends for a while. They make you want to be a part of their group. The leads had a good romantic chemistry that made you frustrated that they didn't get together sooner.

I'll probably rewatch this a while from now just because the story wasn't too out of the ordinary.

Overall this offers a piece of real life that you will also take a way something from.

I am not a fan of dramas lasting more than 20 episodes. This is due to my experiences with Brilliant Legacy and Boys Over Flowers. They both went on longer than they should have. That's why even though I came across Queen of Reversals several times, I kept passing it up. However, after watching Jung Joon Ho in Iris, I needed to watch other dramas he was in. Therefore I decided to give QOR a try. The first two episodes were messy and confusing. But, after you get over the time jump in the third episode, the drama starts to find its legs.

What makes this drama is cast of different characters. You got the 2 male leads and the 2 female leads. JJH starts off as this immature wishy-washy character that you just want to punch because he is so clueless. By the end of the drama, his character grows into a mature, caring, successful in love and work. Park Shi Hoo doesn't have much as much character growth as JJH but you can see that his acting chops have improved since Prosecutor Princess. This is my first time seeing KNJ in a drama. She wasn't very impressive but she managed to play her role well. CJA from coffee prince did excellent as a vixen. She kind of reminded me of her role in CP though, a bit whiny. Somehow she manages to make the audience like her though in the end (although the cop wasn't a bad choice=( !) We can't forget the supporting cast who make the drama excellent. They all have different personalities and I like that although they aren't the main focus, they stay relevant throughout the entire drama so you can't forget about them.

The last 2 episodes were brilliantly written. Be ready to cry at the end of episode 30. All in all this drama is filled with many lessons so I think everyone should give it a try!
