This movie is a perfect masterpiece, which combines a heartbreaking story about a mentally handicapped man who becomes a victim of the law, stunning visuals and top notch acting from every member of the cast. All this creates one of the most beautiful movies I have ever watched.
The story has a sad tone, but it also manages to makes us laugh a lot of times. The relationship between Ye Seung and the prisoners of cell No.7 was definitely the highlight of the movie, creating heart warming and tragic moments at all times.
The acting was excellent. The movie relied a lot on Kal So Won, the little girl who played Ye Seung and she definitely delivered. She was the one who set the tone to the whole movie, because we saw the movie through her eyes. If I had to name the weakest link, it would be Park Shin Hye. Not because she lacks acting skills, but because she felt really disconnected from the rest of the cast.
The music blended perfectly and it added a lot of feelings to the scenes. It let us know when to laugh and when to cry, and it was so natural that you didn't even notice it.
I will definitely rewatch this movie a lot of times, and it will still make me cry and laugh like a baby.
I would recommend this movie to anyone, because it's the kind of movie that makes us appreciate the humor in tragedies, and even though it's tragic, it reminds us that there is love out there, that there are good people.
Seriously, if you haven't watched it, go watch it now!

The Story deserves a 10 because is a true story about a real girl who went through this, and the purpose of this drama was for people to know it, and really learn to appreciate life, and I think that it really does cause that. This one of the few dramas that are life-changing, that instead of making you laugh makes you think how lucky you are just for the fact that you can study, or walk, or even speak.
The acting was 10 also. I hate Sawajiri Erika, I think that she is one of the worst famous people aver, because she's careless and has a really bad reputation, but you can't deny that she made the performance of her life in this drama. She makes us completely understand the pain that Aya is going through and how she gradually loses control of her body. I also loved Ryo's performance and character, the parts where I cried the most were the parts where he cried. I also loved the family, I think they all acted completely according to their part, even though it was really challenging.
The music definitely 10. It completely moved you.
I've watched three times, and I don't really get bored, it's a completely moving story, I love it because it makes me feel lucky and thankful to God.
Overall a solid 10, one of the few dramas which REALLY deserve it, not because of its cast or music, but because it's a tribute to Aya

Story-It isn't original at all. I've been watching dramas for almost 4 years and have seen specially many kdramas, which are all the same. This one isn't and exception. -If you don't want to know anything about the story, DON'T READ THE REST OF THE PARAGRAPH-. In the first 8 episodes there's the leads hating each other but being dragged into common situations which make them start having feelings for each other. There's always the "oppa" girl, and the guy (who is generally hyung of the lead) who befriends the female lead and starts having feelings for her even though he eventually realizes she's the girl his hyung loves. Generally in the 8th or 9th episode the leads confess their feelings for each other and the rest of the drama is them trying to get his family to accept their relationship, because of course, he's always a rich guy and she's always the poor girl. So, that's the basic story-line for every kdrama. I think that most people, like me, accept that and watch it to see how the writers develop the story, the things that will make this drama different. But in this story, it's like the writers used "writing kdramas for dummies". I mean it didn't have anything different. The only scene in the whole drama that I'd rescue is the "cola" scene.
Cast-As I mentioned before, I'm a huge YEH fan. Her characters are always someone you can relate to (being MFL a HUGE exception) and they are very lovable. Kong Ah Jung wasn't the exception. As for KJH, I LMBOed with him in My Girlfriend is an Agent and here too. I also loved Soon Joon as character, but as an actor he only could do funny scenes, in the "sad" scenes I just kept laughing because his acting sucked. Jo Yoon Hee had the typical character that you just hate because she's stalking the male lead, so she didn't really stand out.
Music-nothing special, just the theme son.
Rewatch value-I'd never rewatch it, I almost didn't finished it.
Overall- Really generic and commercial, if this is your first drama, you'll probably love it, if you have watched several dramas before this one, you'll be like "oh, again?" or "that's so predictable" or "I watched this scene in..."

The story was great, the cast too, although in some parts I regret to say that Kitagawa's acting wasn't so good. The music was very according to the movie. I'll definitely rewatch this movie sometime soon with a friend. Overall, a seven.
I enjoyed watching this movie so much that I'll watch the anime, because I've heard that the anime fans weren't happy with the outcome of the movie, so I'll watch to be able to make a good comparison

The greatest thing about this story is that is something that feels real, that I think could've happened in real life, and probably did. It portrays the difference between love and lust, and how the world functioned at that time. I do think that it could've been better with less graphic scenes, or adult scenes, they weren't necessary, and in Asian context they used it to make it dirtier, something like "well he cheated on his boyfriend, which is indecent, so it doesn't matter if we throw in a couple of sex scenes because it already is immoral." Actually Asians tend to that with sex scenes, I've seen it in other movies and dramas.
The acting is completely superb. I mean, in real life both actors are straight and yet they made their gay and bi characters completely real and believable, you understand what's going through their minds and how the evolve. And besides, to take these roles was a risky choice because even in Hollywood this is like a "taboo" topic, now imagine in Asia, where they're a lot more conservative. I think the queen wasn't a main character, she actually wasn't that important, she only was there to create the conflict.
The music was awesome, it made the scenes deeper, and it gave you a more accurate knowledge of what was going on.
I will probably never rewatch this movie again, because even though it truly is a superb movie, I thought it was to raw and had too many sex scenes. Also, I didn't like the things that happened before the end, it was completely unnecessary, they just put it in there to create more drama and shock the viewer. This is a good movie, very real and cruel, so if you're looking for something with content, this is your movie, if you're looking for a romcom or something fun to watch, you probably won't like this one.

It's such a shame because the story had a lot of potential, and it all went down the drain. So yeah, I understand if you start clicking your "Not helpful" button right now, but at least hear me (read me?) out.
I'm not going to spoil in how many ways this was frustrating, and in which ways the story lacked (A LOT), but I AM going to say that I,a big Hong Sister's fan, was really disappointed by this story- It gets to a point in which there ceases to be a story and it's just going around in circles time and time again, and the way it ends is awful, too.
Even though this is one of the worst dramas I've watched in a long time, it definitely can't be blamed on the cast. The whole cast was outstanding. The characters were awful, but it seemed very real, there was no bad acting in any part of the drama.
The music was normal, same as in most kdramas.
For the rewatch value, I definitely will NOT rewatch this. EVER again. I almost drop it the first time, NO.
Overall, this is a drama that had a lot of potential and got screwed big time. And as much as it pains me to say it, it's all the Hong Sister's fault, because the story didn't live up to its potential or its cast.
So, who do I recommend this to??? NO ONE. Maybe someone who's just starting to watch dramas, and differenciate between a good drama and a bad drama.

Story-It's great because it's about a real problem in Korea, where in order to get married or become an actress a woman has to go under "the knife". Most korean Hallyu stars have some kind of plastic surgery, altohugh not as extreme as Hanna's. The thing that I liked but at the same time didn't like about this movie was the love story. It really isn't developed, and the male lead is shown as a very shallow person.
Acting-I thought it was really good, specially Kim Ah Joong's because she protrays prefectly what a person goes through after an important change.
Music-Although it's supposed to be a movie about music, it didn't really stand out.
Rewatch Value-I've watched at least 10 times; it just gets better ;)
Overall-Solid nine. It isn't the best movie but it's really funny and gets you to think for a while, it isn't your typical romcom.

The story is really funny to watch, mainly because all the characters are well written and interesting without overdoing it. Also I liked that unlike most dramas, this one doesn't really have a super dramatic arc. Besides I think the way it starts, with Misaki becoming a flight attendant only to impress boys is really different and is only an example of how the rest of the drama goes. If you liked the first episode, you'll love the whole drama, but if you didn't, you probably won't like it.
I loved how Ueto Aya acted in here, the whole drama is about her character Misaki, and how she struggles to find her place, and although it was a difficult part to play, because it was a lot of responsibility, but she completely pulled it off. I also loved Ryo here, this wass actually the drama where I met him and fell in love wih him. Besides, this was the drama that he starred after 1 litre of tears, and it was a great choise because after seeing him all dramatic, people could appreciate that he could also be funny and cute. The whole supoorting cast was good, their character helped to create what was going to be airport environment, which was almost another character by itself in this drama.
I watched this a long time ago, so I don't remember the music really well, but I do remember the main theme, which was a cover of "Pretty Woman", and I simply loved it, it was funny and cute, and very fitting for the main character.
I've watched this drama several times ever since I first saw it, and never get tired of it, it's the kind of drama that I watch when I just want to see something funny.
Overall, this is a great drama, if you like comedy combined with a little depth, this is your drama.

Story- The story isn't so bad. In fact it would be very good if it were developed differently. What I simply couldn't tolerate was the way Bong Man/San Young treated Hae Chan, as if she were his object and burden. He never lets her grows as a person, or at least that's from my perspective. I thought the cutest couple were Bong Gyu and Hae Won. I just watched until episode 10, so maybe in the next episode the story will change and become super good, but I simply couldn't continue.
Acting-The cast isn't bad, they play their characters well, but they're nothing extraordinary, and I felt the leads had no chemistry at all.
Music-I really didn't like any song.
Rewatch value-I'd never ever rewatch this again, I couldn't even finish it.
Overall for me this was a dissapointing drama, I was expecting much more from it.

I feel this is a feel-good drama to binge on a weekend, specially if you're feeling down or just want to feel all fluffy. The story is well-paced an fun to watch. It's great seeing these characters going through their day-to-day and start being adults together. Another thing to note is that is sweet that the story is about a clueless math guy chasing a clueless Doraemon-obsessed girl.
The acting was good and natural, which is all you're looking for in a drama like this, and the chemistry was good between the main characters.
There is stuff I could nitpick about this drama, like secondary stories, or the excessive amount of innocence, but I think the good outweighs the bad.
Be prepared for the cutesy-fest!

The writing was simply superb. It's amazing how they paid attention to each little detail. There weren't any holes anywhere. There was nothing that wasn't explained in some point of the story. The whole story had me in my toes the whole, waiting too see what was going to happen next.I loved the way they used an unoriginal concept and turned it into something completely different, without using the usual things. For example, I loved that Boong Do was so practical and smart, and that instead of focusing on how much he was lost, he focused on learning all kind of new stuff and trying to adapt to the future. I also liked that both times in the story were important, not just the future.
The cast was perfect. The chemistry between Yoon In Na and Ji Hyun Woo obviously can't be denied. I hadn't watched anything with Ji Hyun Woo in it until now (I'll be sure to correct that mistake), but I had watched Secret Garden and The Greatest Love with Yoon In Na, and I never thought possible she could be that good acting. That just proofs that looks DO deceive, because I thought of her as just another actress playing small mean roles. The secondary cast was great too, if sometimes a little annoying.
The music was really according to the drama. It's not something I'd have on my iPod to listen to all the time, but it did fit perfectly to the drama. It was so good that even the actors used it to get in the mood for the sad scenes, how awesome is that?
I'll definitely rewatch this sometime soon, when I'm in the mood for some epic love story.
Overall, a pefectly well deserved 10.
PS: This has some of the best kisses I've ever seen on a drama!
Enjoy watching!

It isn't like the drama at all, not the story, not the general background, not the music and not the cast. It isn't the best movie I've ever seen, but it is really funny and entertaining.
A huge plus for me watching this was that I could watch it with a person who isn't into Asian stuff and he still enjoyed it and liked it a lot, so for me this is a funny cute movie that in the ends turns out romantic and anyone can watch.
It doesn't have stupid humour, it isn't overly dramatic, or overly romantic, so it's like for someone who is just looking for some laughs.
The cast was great, I loved Jang Keun Suk on his role, even though it wasn't the original Momo (he acted a lot cuter than MatsuJun, and took the pet stuff to a whole other level) and Kim Ha Neul portrayed really well a succesful woman.
The music was great, it well perfectly well with the scenes happening, and I'll definitely rewatch this, with some friends soon.

The story isn't anything new, we've seen this in many other movies, but the way it's refreshing and very entertaining. On the comedy side I give it a definite 10. On the romantic side, it isn't as romantic, or at least not on the cheesy way most romantic comedies are. The main leads truly have a lot of chemistry together, so it felt like the kind of love story where you like someone because he or she outwits you and fascinates you and is completely unpredictable, opposed to the typical together forever love story.
I thought the letters and caption that went along with the movie to show what they were thinking were also hilarious. And also how they started discovering each other's lies and started the pranks.
The music was very funny, specially the sound effects when one of them "made a move" on the other.
Overall this is a great movie, specially to LYBO, alone or with a friend. So just sit back and enjoy the ride this wonderful movie offers you.

Is Secret Garden good? Heck yeah it is! But it isn't as good as is commonly put, at least to me.
The story is interesting, although is the typical rich-boy-meets-poor-girl-and-falls-in love-against-his-family's-approval. I love that it has a heroine that can actually stand up for herlsef and doesn't need a man. Also, the side story is genius, I simply love Oska and Seoul together! I love that they didn't drag a lot the soul-changing plot, and that they ended it quick because if they had spent the whole drama changed it would've gotten really boring. Also I loved that the ending is very realistic given the circumstances.
The whole cast is amazing, each plays well his or hert part, specially Hyun Bin and Ha Ji Woon, which have to play someone of the opposite sex inside their own bodies.
The music was also a plus. I specially liked that they gave it an emphasis through Oska.
Overall, it is a really good drama, but in my opinion it isn't something that I hadn't seen before or that is really like a bomb. If you like romantic comedies with a lot of absurd yet cute situations, you'll definitely like this one.
