Okay, there's an assembly of NINE people on the poster: warning number 1. Aom Piyada is way past her thirties, even. I remember she looked too old for Nut Devahastin in 'Artid Ching Duang' in 2009 already, but this is not her lovestory. We have Vill Wannarot & Jes Jespipat here for this. Their chemistry should work well? The two actors started dating after this aired...

These two start interacting in episode 3. Aom Piyada is Jes Jespipat's mother in this, and goes even more psychopatic than in the mentioned 'Artid Ching Duang'. She almost kills Vill Wannarot's main girl some early episode like 5th, but it passes on more or less like nothing happened. To be honest, I did not want to watch 27 episodes of this. Vill & Jes might have dated in reality but their onscreen connection is nothing much. Not into the half-psychopatic middle aged couple, either... What else is there? Point Cholawit flirts heavily with Janis Janistar, but is that enough?

This is so clearly not my kind of lakorn, lol. Whenever Vill Wannarot's nang'ek finds herself alone on a romantic looking beach, it's not the pra'ek, but the psychopatic middle aged harpy portrayed by Aom Piyada, who finds her there. Vill & Jes's scenes, as meek as they tend to be, take very small percentage of the screentime. As soon as episode 7/27, I was already massively bored and particularly disenterested in the whole plot involving Attempted Murder, Hidden Identity, Birth Secret, Evil Stepmother, Step-siblings Love, Murder and Amnesia. Which seems like a bad parody, but actually is only a listing of this show's Tags (VERY useful tool on MDL, helps me avoid a lot of cr*p:) I had LOADS of thai lakorns already downloaded on my drive, which was the only reason why I even attempted this.

Excuse me, this is not what I want from ROMANCE series

This lakorn's pra'ek is Job Thuchapon, whom I remember from 'Love Lie Hide Fake', so it's difficult to un-think his face wearing girl's makeup... When I look at him, it kinda looks like he's still wearing it:) He'll always look kinda girly to me. There is Chai Chatayodom who is 44, and Big Sarut who is 49, and still I found them both more attractive men.

Also there's Ampere Suttatip, naturally I wanted to skip as many scenes as she was in but anyways, the scriptwriters clearly just used her whenever they needed to interrupt something: they let her come in and interrupt. Or at least she was calling on the phone:)

I appreciated very much that single episode runtime didn't run for almost two hours. Thaank youu:) The number of episodes is considerably high, though. So I thought it very optimistic from the producers but I wasn't sure whether I'll really stick with this for that long:) But, I like the trope where someone does date someone with the purpose or some agenda, but actually likes them anyways. That might keep me onboard.

It felt weird whenever Ae Maneerat's character called Chai Chatayodom's character "dad". Chai is 9 years older than Ae. Kinda weird age to have a child, LOL. Either way she seems very toned down here and I might not particularly notice her, have I not known her from her comedy roles.

There's also Ohm Kanin (I'm sorry, but I reeeally don't find him attractive, either) relentlessly pursuing the bland nang'ek (I didn't even bother to look up the name of the actress) also with some agenda, apparently (else it would be unexplicable) but that one I was not even interested in. When I was about to give up on the cast, there was a night club scene in episode 4 with Jacqueline Muench! Wow, Jacqueline Muench is here? I haven't noticed, LOL. But her face is definitely the most interesting in this show. What a difference to the "main" actress. So, albeit there was no equally interesting guy around, I woke up from my slumber.

The main couple's line got my interest soon, too. The boy dates the girl to spy on her dad. He infiltrates the family house by her side, nevertheless she feels unloved by her dad and gets practically kicked out from that house. Packing her things, the clueless girl clings to the boy (who was still sending her dad's info to his boss a minute ago) as the only one who loves her, when her own dad does not... Not knowing he's only hired to be her boyfriend. But even he gets stirred by watching this. And I continued watching the series: the cast might not do it for me, but at least there was something about the character's dynamics.

But then the girl finds out the truth in episode 6 out of 27. So it was only a prelude... Now she wants him out of her life and I could relate. Both him and the other guy who exposed him (she does the mistake not telling HIM to go, as well). When it's like that, the super secret organization the fake boyfriend works for decides to reveal itself to her and ask her openly to cooperate. Is she going to turn into some kind of secret agent herself? It's the most stupid thing I ever heard, nevertheless it seems the show is aiming there. Either way, it is the bewitching Jacqueline Muench who steals the show even in a side role.

I must say while watching, I was COMPLETELY uninterested in the whole plot and I didn't care who is the evil corrupted one in the family, who works for who and even who murdered nang'ek's dead mother. Therefore, I wished for nang'ek to tell the secret organization to stick it. But, of course, the next scene we can see nang'ek already collaborating with them. Now. If I don't care about the plot, I don't like the main guy, I don't like the main girl, and I'm not interested in further progress of this story, should I continue watching such series?

You'll excuse me if I won't spend another 1080 minutes on this

In context of lakorns, having one fantasy themed is a MINUS that burdens it from the start. As it's extremely tricky to make without the result come off as ridiculous, even for far more developed filmmakers than they are in Thailand. Also - for me personally - it's boring.

I was prepared to quickly skip-through this one or drop it as soon as I read the synopsis. Of course single episode runtime is twice longer than bearable... There is Jub Jib to lighten it a bit but that's just a momentary alleviation.

Basically, nang'ek gets mysterious visits by a strange clothed dude who enters through her bedroom mirror. At first he appears there to help her not get murdered, later he keeps appearing everytime she gets asleep by a table and needs to be carried to the bed gently. When she finds herself hanging off a cliff outside the house, he has no problem momentarily appear there (far from that mirror) as well. Apparently he's from a strange world formed by cheap CGI purple flower meadows, huge golden trees, mountains and waterfalls, where he's got nothing else to do than to watch our nang'ek like she's on a telly, or smth. Every single time he fancies it, he can go and join her story. One day he drags her through the mirror to see his country, too. She now sees he's really from a different realm (where they speak thai) and obviously kinda morally superior, despite being portrayed by Sean Jindachot with his bohemian looks of a heavy smoker. Therefore, nang'ek obviously forgets the hot cop pursuing not only her grandmother's death case, and sets her sights on him firmly. Shall I continue?

That's what I asked myself. Should I continue watching? Because that's like episode 2 out of 15. It already feels I've seen enough. I skimmed through episode 3 and felt just ZERO interest in it... all. Had she at least go for the copper (love their uniform in Thailand) it might be bearable. At least he's got Jub Jib accompanying him frequently. But everytime we switch in the "beautiful" realm with the waterfalls which Sean Jindachot is always standing next to (as he apparently doesn't need a roof over his head) trying to make his face all serious, or any of the side characters, I get reminded that time is precious. You'll excuse me if I won't spend another 1080 minutes on this:)

Okay... Fon Sananthachat first appears wearing huge glasses & pigtails to announce to the audience that her character is still a virgin. She meets Lee Thanat's in an elevator (seriously) and decides to pursue him. Her bestie also loves pursuing boys. She's portrayed by the cute Ciize Apichaya, kinda young for an aggresive man-eater, LOL.

Aye Sarunchana, even younger actress, who nevertheless has proven she can portray grown and sensible characters ('Friend Zone', 'Friend Zone 2') portrays a girl who is already taken. Her boyfriend seems to never be there when she needs him, though. She does catch him feeding her clear lies.

The plot goes crazy since episode 1, where the girl with looks of Fon Sananthachat decides to hire a "boy for rent" to teach her how to be seductive with men, so that Lee Thanat's guy won't refuse her again. We can see her in a sequence wearing no glasses and tiny shorts & top, which only reveal that her body is tiny also, like a middle-schooler's. Also, she's to PRACTICE how to win guy's heart... with somebody else.

Meanwhile, Aye Sarunchana's taken girl also decides to hire "boy for rent", as she figures she doesn't have to be guilty for it. Unfortunatelly, no one hires Victor Chatchawit, who is there only as a intermediary. Mond goes shirtless for most of the episode 2-3, still he cannot quite compensate, and I actually prefer him dressed, LOL.

I must say I ceased to understand the "plot" soon. Also, I had no idea who the endgame couples are supposed to be. Usually, all it takes is to scroll at Cast & Credits on MDL and click "View All", usually the couples are listed nicely next to each other. But here, we have girls next to each other and boys next to each other. It all gives me kinda similar vibe as 'Friend Zone', like "we don't care whether this looks like romance line for you, let's just try and put together these two, then these two".

We then watch the... er... couples? That's where the problems starts. One couple is Mond & Fon. He's there for her as "boy for rent" to help her out in romance department & also protect her, because she gets almost molested after being shown at stage at a club, where everyone could see there's nothing much to see on her, still one of the guys follows her and tries to molest her? (A weird and unconvincing scene, if you ask me.) While he actually dates Aye Sarunchana's character, but he has to broke up with her because he can't really be there for her, blah blah blah... It's all so not enjoyable watch. I was willing to give the chance to 'Friend Zone', though that was also not enjoyable for the entire 1st season. But, not again. I find this entirely dumb, to be honest.

Fon Sananthachat isn't cute, she is weird 25 year-old with a 15-year old body. I didn't cheer for her with Mond, I didn't cheer for her with anyone. Aye Sarunchana's character cried most of the 3rd episode and I honestly was tired of her couple line with Mond's character already, too. Should she get together with Lee Thanat, instead? He portrays a guy that seems to be too much above it all... And I don't even like these two together, either. I don't really care what happens. And if I don't care about it now, I don't need to waste my time 9 more times.

Someone obviously thought the 'Boy For Rent' sounded cool and had interesting concept, but what of it? It's not like they could really rent a boyfriend. It wasn't about sex, either. Honestly, I didn't get what it was about.

This is called 'The Fake Tootsie'. Aw! They could cast Pingpong Thongchai (from 'Diary Of Tootsies') in the Ken role! Pitty.

The plot is ostentatiously crazy. In the financially desperate situation, Mai Davika Hoorne's jobless character whose house is about to get seized by creditors sees the only salvation in winning the huge prize money drag beauty pageant. First her new friend is supposed to enter the competition, but after discovering he's got too much facial hair, they convince her to enter. As she is proper girly girl, the goal is to put as much of crazy accessories and super heavy makeup on her to make her look so artificial people would even believe she was converted from a dude.

Despite the huge number of episodes, luckilly this isn't a 'Channel 7', so we don't spend ages waiting for some action. Right in episode 2, we get to see the competition including the performances. The main girl portrayed by Mai Davika does a sexy-pose dance number seemingly without any effort (even if she doesn't win the prize money, she doesn't need to stay jobless, obviously she can apply at nearest strip club). If after shooting this series the actress ended up with a new boyfriend, it's no wonder. EVERYBODY shall notice here that she's hot.

It's all very good but then the plot which is supposed to run for the next like twenty so episodes begins, with inexplicable premise that someone who won a drag night should be hired to act in a romantic drama. So, the winner happily collects the prize money, but then is bonded by the contract to shoot a whole drama series. Of course the lack of acting experience is a problem since the first day, so it halts the whole production (where every day costs money). So I wondered what kind of "smart "idea such contract was.

With that, majority of the screentime gets filled with the characters rehearsing and shooting fictional drama scenes. With that, my entertainment level rather dropped. It looked like that after the funny intro, this would be a very looong series... I felt like still watching a movie even after it ended. Like there was some kind of boring footage left with the same characters after everything ended. And it was like that in 4th, 5th, 6th episode... out of 27 (yeah, the version I was watching had 27 total). Yeah, suddenly we were watching "drama" about someone discovering a sanitary pad in someone else's bag. Should Davika dance once more? Else I don't know what could save this thing. Like, TWENTY ONE more episodes?

I think I'll watch the 2nd episode ending again and then quickly get out of this.

Another love triangle? Well, at least, this is more interesting because we have 3 people competing for 2 spots in law company. It's 2 girls and 1 boy. With the boy having a face of Pon Nawasch (ugh), I was prepared to cheer for girls, who quickly became friends and wowed they will be the ones staying. Better real girls than a guy with a face like a girl, I thought... But, sadly it's soon revealed one of the girls is psycho. You know how I say: The words "Less Is More" should be tattooed on all the scriptwriter's foreheads? Someone STILL didn't get that story like this, having 3 normal people WOULD suffice for good drama.

Dropped by episode 3... Neither of the two main boys is my type. One of the main girls is psycho, and it's not my kind of entertainment watching psychos. Perhaps had the original cast (from 'Hormones') stayed, it would be more enjoyable... Or perhaps they were lucky to get out.

Series begins very dramatically introducing a school built upon the grades divide. Well, I'm glad to have an education that never used this system and just always separated students into classes alphabetically. What we did have was 1 disabled (for ex. wheelchaired) student in each class. That way they always had enough people to help them around, they were included in all the activities, also the healthy kids were used to having them around. But this system reminds me of putting all the disabled people in one class. Teachers don't put real effor in helping any students to actually improve. Good or bad, their performance is already pre-judged by the class they belong to. In this particular school, they go even step further and the A students really act like superiors to the other students, even run a student court where they play a judge and sentence people to punishments, which looks ridiculous. There is a vigilante group calling themselves 'The Black Sheep' that makes various publicly visible statements about the system being wrong. What is kinda undermining it is the group actually consists of F class students. Because it's not just "dumb" students who should protest against this system.

Logically the actions like those of the 'The Black Sheep' would definitely have support of intelligent people, openly or secretly. Therefore the secret group should have unexpected mixture of members, maybe even including class A. But that would have to be in better drama than this one. This particular drama, I wouldn't even be proud of being A class, as it looks like aside the best grades it requires also the best "behavior": including being active in school organizing and doing inspection (or plain snitching) on other students. Not every good student is necessarily like that. On the other hand, class F should have no person capable thinking of any strategies for 'The Black Sheep' else they wouldn't have the problem with doing homework and getting at least a bit better grades than the lowest in the whole school. In short "Black Sheep = Class F" doesn't make sense from any angle.

In this drama, the unexpected element is supposed to be provided by a former A class student who got expelled into a class F. Because she cheated on her test. I hardly found her a sympathy winning heroine. If the school had the class A - F determined on a student's abilities, then if she was not able to pass her test without CHEATING I couldn't help but agree with her failing the A class (personally I didn't understand why she bothered as in such school, I would not want to be neither A nor F). As the cheating got her minus points that were worse than any grade she could achieve without it, she moved as low as to F class where she met the members of 'The Black Sheep' (practically found about their identity immediatelly). They were supposed to be the lowest intelligence students but seemed smart enough. But obviously not enough for the drama having a smarter script.

What we get to learn about the main character is that she previously had sacrificed FRIENDSHIP in order to stay in her A class fellows good graces. Moving into a class F, she is offered her way back into class A (though they tell her that it "still won't be easy", so it's not even assured) if she snitches on them being 'The Black Sheep' (as the director suspects class F above anyone else). She is able to spy on their "secret meetings" very easily. It's really inconsistent whether 'The Black Sheep' are stupid or smart. And it seems this drama doesn't NEED to make sense, it's just there to feature the BNK48 girls (I don't know that group, but I remember coming across a movie "Thibaan x BNK48 (2020)" which I haven't even as much as finished watching). I think the leading girl has a good potential though, sadly I don't mean the leader of 'The Black Sheep', who cannot act, so that also brings their fight for justice down. LOL.

Mond is cute, but one cannot fathom what he is doing there.

Luckilly the characters seem to progress more towards friendship, which SHOULD be important, of course. Especially because students of this school are really pitiful, as each class must live in their own dormitory. Meaning you must live only with people having the same grades as you...

Third episode, I started zoning out. So I dropped this.

I'm not a fan of Supernatural, Curse, Reincarnation, Flashback To Past, Past And Present, Karma... basically all the motives listed as Tags here are those I avoid, by now. And Nychaa Nuttanicha in the main role? Not that she is not pretty, but problem with her was that most of her dramas she came across as immature. Young and looking even younger than her age, her kiss scenes were always too careful and awkward. Will she get better now she's now 25, and was already paired with Tono Pakin once previously?

This lakorn, I skipped all the other people. Like Lorena Schuett (I always skip her), Peter Corp Dyrendal (too old now), New Chaiyapol Poupart (also too old now, lol) and Prang Kannarun (unlucky to get paired with Peter Corp Dyrendal here). I watched this for Tono Phakin, really. He is hot, he even has attractive voice. There are only 3 other shows with him left that I still haven't watched, one is crime, one is another supernatural and one is about flash marriage, neither of which is my favourite so the options to enjoy him as a pra'ek are getting slim. That's why I did not drop this after first 3 episodes.

The story plays on the thai very popular buddhist theme of reincarnation. You can see it in any similar series. The characters are always binded to each other due some shared ancient fate, which repeats over and over. Personally, I find it rather boring that just because in one lifetime the character happened to do this or that due to some circumstance, the character then wows to do that (or be that) again in all their next lifetimes for eternity. But, thai seem to love it, so never mind.

But, by episode 5, I had enough of more and more past lives flashbacks. I started to skip those entirely. Some episodes, the rest of the runtime I got to watch was just a few minutes:) They might as well saved it and this didn't need sixteen of them (episodes). I was getting impatient when the guy will learn which girl of the past the main girl actually was. I always like when things are addressed quick. I don't like things to drag. Not that it mattered that much to me, lol... With 2022 year's end nearing, I happily resolved since 2023 to not watch any Supernatural. Which was so long due, should have done it ages ago;)) So, let's hope I'll be able to wrap this up soon.

Ugh... 1st kiss is epi 7 and it's not a good kiss.
So no, Nychaa didn't get better.
If this is what I am skipping though all the stupid "historical" flashbacks FOR, then I'll probably drop it after new year lol;-))

Episode 8: Okay, it's after new year's, now. Looks like I didn't manage all 16 episodes and it's 2023, and my "no Supernatural" rule is already in place. So, I'm wrapping this up early:) In the past, I did not care about the whatever stupid "magic" plot, as long as there was good romantic tension, this lakorn, we get to the bedscene in episode 8 (it's hospital bed, lol) with TonoNychaa kiss, which is cute, but save it for some drama where you're playing uncle & niece, please and good luck next time:)

The early "jungle episodes" were practically unwatchable, with the stupid cgi lions running around, with the main girl having constantly stained face with something brown (they clearly did that for us to "marvel at her beauty" after she finally washes it off in the city), yelling like a boy (or trying to yell like a boy) and the main guy being... eh, Mai Warit. When a lakorn tries to be something else than romance (action/gunfight/crime/etc) I find it tiring, so I was bored with this in episode 2 already. I had to literally force myself to stick with this till it finally reaches the city part, then I was entitled to drop it if it STILL does not appeal to me.

Something that can at least be called enjoyable interactions between the main leads begins in episode 5. Btw. Jack Chaleumpol looks like he lost some weight. It's good, it was beginning to get dangerous, lol. On the other hand, the main girl meets her female rival in the city. Irony is, now she finally properly washed her face, she looks exactly like her, there's no real difference in between the two girls. Thai are obsessed with white skin and would never allow anyone one shade from ivory to actually appear onscreen. It's a mockery of people really living in jungle. Same with the city life: her friend, the "jungle boy", is taking selfies with his smartphone exactly two days later.

The "crime" plot is of course even more stupid, as traditional with thai lakorns... Everyone acts like a moron to keep some "drama" on for more number of episodes, but I cannot avoid the crept feeling of thai tv using these naive scripts to somehow justify the crime syndicates and corruption occuring in real Thailand. Would they do better to concentrate on the romance? Yes, they would.

But, when at least the crime situation, no matter how stupid it is, creates good romantic tension, it cannot be utilized as there is no kiss in the lakorn. So, second couple cannot kiss and as for the main couple, I realized I don't care whether they'll get to be together or not. He treats her like a little sister. I imagined she stops behaving like a little monkey for a second and he falls in love with her and passionatelly kisses her? Huh, we would not get to see that anyways. Either way, I was tired to watch this to the end... I did not finish the 8th episode.

Krist Perawat wears very gay clothes, hair & earrings in this, nevertheless his song "Missing" (NOT the title song) is a really nice part of the OST. So, if nothing else, I can recommend the song. Real "Boy in sorrow":)

I wasn't sure whether I am going to like this show. While with Krist, I wasn't worried that he wouldn't deliver, whether someone of the same sex, or 20 year older, he can convince us about the attraction. It was the other cast I found more questionable. Never mind Jason Young who refuses to retire till he learns to act which means never, even Saiparn Apinya landed the very loud and annoying role tiring the lakorn audience since 25 years ago, Mek Jirakit looks very out of place, Dao Pimthong shares a hot scene with 8 years younger Ohm Pawat right in episode 2, and then Fah Yongwaree is added to the mix.

You can imagine how the scales got overwhelmed by bad acting;)

Watching episode 4, I started feeling like this show was not just about bad acting, also bad taste. Who keeps writing "drama" like this? I actually looked it up, here. It says: "Bamboo". Great. Some bamboo head? It's like, we have the rich house, so naturally it has a huge stairwell so that someone can take a big fall on it? There's the grown up woman acting like a child, then bordering on psycho? Fah Yongwaree is a rookie herself, and she gets yet another rookie portrayed by bratty Ohm Pawat to train? Is there anything that's NOT annoying to watch?

I'm sorry to watch Krist Perawat trapped in this, but he should have enough sense to walk out from this... I can't imagine how much steamy hot age-gap romance the show would have to offer for me to suffer through this. Someone let me know if there is a real kiss scene/bed scene/very romantic scene between him & Aom. I still WON'T watch the whole cr*p just for it. So, give me the exact time stamp, lol.

They did find SOME onscreen couple for this (Everyone and everything else was a disaster)

Well, if not for the RAVING reviews, this series would not to live to show me its 10th minute, lol. If I'm NOT interested in something, then it's watching "credible" looking mafia guys trying to be all hotshot, and speaking bad english. The two main actors, one looks a bit mature already (he's 30), is attractive except of his voice (and his bio says he's a singer lol), the other is not my type (though he is the likeable fun type). But, people wrote like: "Kinn x Porsche ended. I don't know what I'll do with my life, now." LOL. So, I did NOT drop this, though I can confirm that after episode 7 it went massively downhill... And I DID find KinnPorsche couple outstanding. I can't say the same about the other couples, though. The only thing I enjoyed about those was skipping their scenes. (Yeah, Vegas & Pete, too!) This show is called 'KinnPorsche' for a reason. Everyone and everything else was a disaster. My detailed experience follows...

1st episode: So, I did not drop this!:) Skipped some scenes, but the main character's interactions, I had fun! And when I'm having fun 1st episode already, I continue watching. The "job interview" fight was HILARIOUS. And there's the 'Sexual Content' tag to look forward to;-)

Episode 2: Lots of comedy and clearly gay side-characters. Kinn is supposed to be a hardass, yet he's surrounded by toots.

Epi 3: Porsche got reassigned to join Kinn's toot brother's bodyguards, who are all bored out of their wits. Porsche was also bored. I was also bored watching. Isn't it too soon for this show to become boring? Still, it's more Comedy than Drama, the Genres listed here on MDL for this show should probably be adjusted.

Epi 4: First KinnPorsche kiss. The ever so conceited Kinn kisses the ever so carefree Porsche, who is drunk at that time and not sure he only dreamed it:) There's a comedic scene right afterwards. And I had to smile: the two of them so deserved each other:)) Not only is Kinn the one who kissed first, he's also the one who got jealous first. And despite being his boss, he can't handle Porsche easily: on him, none of his usual methods work. It's just SO enjoyable watching their dynamics. Just to watch Kinn's conceited smile freezing on his lips is a treat. Anyway, someone "smart" thought Kinn & Porsche NOT enough for the series, so there are more characters getting introduced, like "Kim" and "Porchay" who both look lame and I'll be skipping them from now on. After a funny scene where Kinn has to rescue his own bodyguard and admit his attraction for him, we get to first sex scene (Porsche is not drunk, he is high this time:) so it looks like the boredom is gone. Though this show IS over crowded by various toots, freaks and lame looking bad/boys.

Epi 5: Porsche gets sober. To be honest, it's the first time his character is seen sobering up in general:) It does fit the situation though, because no matter all the comedy, the day he entered the mafia bussiness his carefree days were numbered. Is that worth the money he is earning? It was already mentioned before, that all his house debt and his younger sibling's education cost was taken care of just by selling Kinn's watch from their first random encounter. I'm no longer interested in watching the side-character toots. There's scene of Kinn with his father, reminding him he should not focus on one piece of the whole chessboard only, resulting in Kinn deciding punishment for Porsche, for his letting himself be drugged on duty:) With this irony, his letting himself be f****d by his boss on duty is left unmentioned lol. Watching Porsche being punished, I couldn't help thinking he would be better off had he (after getting Kinn's watch) never accepted to work for him. Why did he have to go through any of this? Then, both Kinn & Porsche try to sleep with other people to forget. This seems to be more important for Porsche, because in his case he could be the top with that other person, also that person is female. There's not much need for Kinn to change, he's doing his usual, so him being bothered that it's someone else than Porsche looks like more serious involvement... There's this "Vegas" guy who's supposed to bring more element into this but he doesn't have a good cast. And it's not just him. Basically, anyone except Kinn, Porsche, Pete, or Big is unwatchable. Then, Porsche actually receives a decent offer from his employer, especially considering Porsche did cause him some trouble:) He can take a leave, be with his younger brother, then decide if he wants to return to the job, or walk away without any hassle. I must say this satisfied my reservations. Then, we get a small rom-com part by the end of this episode:)

Epi 6: "Mafia action" is back, again. Kinn & Porsche just barely started to talk about the two of them, so of course they were soon interrupted. I was prepared to endure endless action sequences, but instead, the two of them are alone in a wilderness:) They are stuck together so they have plentiful interactions. And it's fun again, and it's cute and adorable:) It's like they went on a sort of a prolonged date. I admit by now I find both Kinn & Porsche's casting suitable (Kinn's bewitching handsomeness Vs. Porsche's immense cuteness) and them both well compatible together. It's romantic and even Kinn repeats the good deed of his father. Even Kinn lets Porsche go.

Epi 7: It's now clear that Kinn loves Porsche, he took a bullet for him. It's clear that Porsche won't leave his job with him. It's 1/2 series still ahead. It's implied that Kinn might switch places with Vegas within the mafia hierarchy (if Vegas succeeds to do that), and asks Porsche to still stay with him, if that happens. Personally I didn't care about this plot, it didn't matter to me whether Kinn is major or minor mafia member, I'm more about excitement in relationships. Even if this might be just a beginning of a some bigger plot. The Vegas guy (unlucky name, thai are unable to pronounce "s" at the end of the word) is lame and I'm not interested in him. If he's to be coupled with Pete it might be the only thing that might save the boredom of watching him. (I'm skipping the "Kim" and "Porchay" scenes entriely.) The minor family entertains Porsche in seemingly more kind & relaxed environment (where everyone eats in an open courtyard overlooked by multiple tall buildings which can harbor unknown number of snipers, lol) offering cool toys to Porsche, while Kinn looks like in an awkward position in compare, as everyone can tell that he's in love. But then everyone remembers the last time that happened, he got paranoid and killed his guy. Porsche hears about this. Kinn doesn't want to be paranoid this time, yet he lives the kind of life where everything pushes a person to be paranoid... Last scene, after Vegas pi**es off, it's good stuff again;-) I'm loving this:D This is not boring!:D

Epi 8: Happy phase. KinnPorsche are dating. They're both super adorable:) When Porsche thinks he's being haunted by Kinn's dead ex, it's hilarious. But when that one turns out to be alive and becomes added character on the show, it's clearly a mistake...

Epi 9: Let the dead rest! Adding Tawan into the mix was the kind of mistake I could see BEFORE it happened. This show went downhil at 1/2 already, which is an exceptional pitty, it WAS so enjoyable LOL. Pete is likeable & funny. A bit unconvincing as a bodyguard, a bit mushroom haircut, but generally a nice guy. But, didn't they have anyone better to pair him with, than "Vegat"? (Thai are unable to pronounce Vegas.) He looks horrendous. I'm not interested in watching this side line. Which I know about from the other reviews, by the way. It's not that anything is really happening between the two as of yet.

Epi 10: Vegas, Vegas, Vegas... Who cares about him? He keeps hovering around Porsche, nothing in between him and Pete, like everyone mentiones. Then there's Tawan again... Who cares about HIM? This show, I'm skipping enough characters already. Now even the main line got plagued by the weeds. I found the whole Vegas-Tawan plot idiotic and it took 2/3 of this episode to resolve it. What now? Okay, now there's Vegas-Pete. But even Pete is too cool for Vegas. Luckilly, we leave that off soon and we get to watch KinnPorsche couple scene in which Porsche punishes Kinn in a way that even I can't spoiler for you, LOL.

Epi 11: Okay, the Vegat-Pete couple everybody appreciates so much? These two get first proper one-on-one scene in episode 11/14, not sooner. And it features Vegat torturing Pete. Is that supposed to be romantic or what? LOL. I found Pete still more cool than banshee-faced Vegat with his "toys". Does he get off on it? I'm not even interested to know. I would so wish Pete would get an attractive guy. He is not really hot but he is cute, with even cute personality:)) But this "Vegat" is lame both character/actor. Normally I would skip any scene he is in. KinnPorsche are no longer exciting. They got happy too early. But, they both say they love the other for people to hear, which is cute. Vegat keeps getting on my nerves, besides being really ugly he's got the annoying habit of randomly speaking in english, despite being surrounded by thais only, in his natal Thailand. Did I mention "lame"? The only thing I wished to see would be that Pete would kill him, despite being the one held there in chains. That would have really delighted me:) After all, we still have 3 episodes left. I would love them Vegas-free.

Epi 12: Another bit of past is revealed which explains why was Porsche accepted into Kinn's house so easily. And why morally speaking, he kind of belongs into the family... It brings a short KinnPorsche angsty moment, which I enjoyed, and also emotinal conclusion. As for our 2nd couple I started reluctantly watching: After his hedgehog dies so it doesn't have to listen to Vegat's english anymore, Pete gets out of his chains. I so wished he would just leave (I would follow his scenes, but not Vegat's anymore), but of course, no. Pete stayed even though he certainly didn't owe him any friendship. I didn't find it touching. Vegat didn't deserve him. And thanks to Pete's stupid decision I kept watching him, instead of skipping all his scenes easily. Then there's a kiss scene & bedscene between the two, which I found a BIT unconvincing, maybe? I mean Pete's whole body was weakened and covered with wounds which Vegat first inflicted, then mended, he practically dragged Pete out of his coffin in the last minute. So I just didn't find him then jumping his bones that hot, LOL. Plus, Vegat is creepo and when Pete looks like he's enjoying his kinky stuff, he looks creepy, too. I don't like Pete anymore. Okay now I can completely skip this couple, LOL. Then there is an ending scene which hints that yet more of Porsche's family past shall be revealed next time. Ugh, I would prefer that theme to be closed by this episode. But, just like with Tawan, I bet the writer won't stop at the right point (obviously never heard of "Less Is More").

Btw., I noticed now (it took me a while, lol) that the end credits repeat the same title song, only sung in english. It doesn't sound as good in english, though. I prefer the opening credits version.

Episode 13: We ARE to niggle in the past, like there wasn't enough of that. Why didn't the writer learn? Imagine they would do the same with Tankhun and let him occupy the screentime ALL the episodes with his "humour", so no one would be actually able to enjoy the drama LOL. But, it's like when we get rid of one annoying element, they immediatelly put a new one in place. So, after bearing with Tankhun-Tawan-Vegas (whom I skip by now, along with Pete), we bring back even the shady "uncle", to harrass us some more... Porsche doesn't do much about it yet, meaning it would plague the final. As if he knew I just mentioned him, Tankhun makes an appearance, too:) He's all tearful and worried about Pete (sorry bro, don't follow his story anymore, so I don't know whether he died, yet) which is an awkward watch, his actor really cannot act. Which includes he doesn't know how to cry onscreen, so he wails like a hyaena.

Final: Well, the only thing final epi lacked was a ghost haunting & UFO landing. First, it was funny, the way Pete returned, also blissfully without Vegat. But then, it looked Vegat is going to hang out with Porsche, again, and help solve his family past drama. SO not interested in that both... I didn't like what was revealed, as mentioned hundred times: Less is more. What we thought in episode 12 was enough. Gun as a jealous and frustrated relative, NOT main villain, was enough (minor & major family was supposed to COMPETE as a smart way to always stay on top as a FAMILY, not to stupidly annihilate one another: and then the final twist surprise is even more stupid and it's a total hispanic telenovela farce). Tawan as a dead boyfriend was enough. Pete as a friendly character was enough and would suffice as a comic relief (originally he was more funny than the braying Tankhun). Kinn & Porsche was enough, no need for Kim & Porchay. AND the main plot about being a mafia boss & his bodyguard, was also ENOUGH.

This is why thai series never really achieve greatness.
Because it never knows when it's enough.

P.S.: The only thing I wished to happen during the silly mess videogame-action sequences was for Vegat to accidentally kill Pete and then weep his gay weep, because that's what the character deserved. He never deserved the cool moments he had. But, LOL at Porsche's "I have another gun";-) Which was the last good moment of KinnPorsche. You'll excuse me if I thought it moronic of Porsche to accept the ring right after he witnessed what the guy did with its previous owner, and then have his "cool" walk around the corridors. Or brain-damaged family reunion. It couldn't be more kitchy, I was not able to hold even my original 8 stars rating in place. But! Episode 7 final scene rating: 10. LOL.

Besides being a total sucker for romance, for some reason I also love watching 'girl-pursuing-a- career' dramas. Starting from Devil Wears Prada & Nanny Diaries, later I ended up seeking after those in asian waters, too:)

The airport sure as hell offers attractive careers. So, far, I've seen a girl trying to be a pilot (Miss Pilot), a cabin attendant (this one) and even working in the plane control tower (cannot remember that one's name).

One thing the MOST annoying the hell out of me: their "english". In this drama especially, they say "cabin attendant" like, in every other sentence. Of course they actually say "kabin atendantO". The "o" on the end is what especially annoys me with japanese. Just like thai, who for some reason suddenly are unable to pronounce "s" when it's in the end of the word (office get always pronounced as "ofit", also don't know why don't they use thai word for it), japanese for some unknown, mysterious reason make the ending "d" sound like a harder "t", plus they do - just as they do with the actual "t" - put an "o" in the end of such word.

So, instead of apartment, they say: "apartmento".
So, instead of 'bed', they say: "betto".
How they pronounce 'cabin attendant', I've mentioned it already. It is said like 1000 times in this series, and annoyed me to no end.
Japanese (and not only japanese, chinese speaking countries, too) have problem with english. They keep stepping on their own tongue, saying "L" instead of "R" always, mispelling this and that even after they learn the language, which is worse than not knowing it at all. I don't wanna judge. I am not a native english speaker, either. I'm just suffering, that's all. I love listening to a melodic language english is, and listening to most asian people speaking english is suffering for me. I love listening to their native languages, though. That's part of my love for watching dramas, because each language is unique and has its own magic and atmosphere which is part of the whole experience. So, if you're japanese, just speak japanese!!

Now. To avoid english-speaking asians, I try to avoid dramas with such themes that take the characters to doing that (for example, whenever they make foreign trips it's a MINUS for me, lol). But the aiport job dramas were so attractive for me I still wanted to watch it. I remember though, that while watching the other drama set in control tower, I was seriously worrying that planes might fall from the sky, because who in the world would understand THEIR english besides japanese? Seriously. Nobody (I was so grateful for the subtitles, subtitling ALL the dialogue, luckilly besides japanese they subtitled also their english, with english subs. else I would be totally lost:D), so the drama in control tower was really filled with thrilling stress for me, even more than the scriptwriters intended:D

But this drama is about the girl just wanting to become air stewardess. Personally I found this better than 'Miss Pilot', which had better side characters, but was kinda unrealistic (total amateurs being hired as pilots) as I felt guilty about the main character not knowing the basic thing about planes. There were mechanics in the hangar who knew more. And being a pilot I think you should understand the machine? But no, this is just about being great as a flight support staff and once again, proved that less is more. I enjoyed all the journey, the training sequences, everything.

So, despite this not being "special", I rate the drama considerably high:)

Okay, just because of the cast, I do admit I kept putting this one off. Be it "un-ageing" 33-year old "girlie" Aom Sushar or Mr. Weird Hairdo Pae Arak, let alone both of them together. But, eventually the time has come I put that aside, concentrated solely on the romance, whether it will be enjoyable. If yes, I'll forgive ANY cast. Is it enjoyable, then?? I am, and I am not, easy to please...

Okay, first episode, I was still willing to accept it. Episode 2, things got more irritating (the side-cast really "outdid" themselves) than funny (fecal "humour" comes in literally as dog poop) PLUS main heroine keeps getting uncomfortably close (mostly unwillingly hugging him) to Pae Arak, who is really not a looker. Aom Sushar looks only the more ridiculous surrounded by all the clowns and idiotic situations. By episode 3, I already established that the choice here was either to try and suffer through all the "hilarious" antics of all the numerous b-grade side "actors" (with the honorable exception of Namfon Sueangsuda, but what use is having her here?), or try to skip through it, only to feast my eyes on Pae Arak's glistening hair. As for the "story", I would understand if the teacher would not wish to work in such school. From my point of view, it could end after 2 episodes already.

After mere 3 episodes, I had enough of this.
(Actually way sooner than episode 3 ended.)

Well, previous lakorn of Sonya Singha (also with Thanwa) she had the same problem. Way more beautiful actress in the side-role. This time it's extreme, because of Supaporn Malisorn's exceptional charm & grace. Plus, in this she is Thanwa's ex. Crowned beauty queen unites sex appeal of thai Priyanka Chopra with vulnerability and cuteness like Zhang Ziyi. There's no way a man would forget her. Therefore, Sonya Singha's nang'ek is in even more difficult position than usual.

So, the story goes that pra'ek's break-up with the beauty is still pretty recent. He's so busy watching her with her new man he doesn't see a car coming, and that's how he meets nang'ek. Her deal is still mostly with her parents. She shares the same father experience with pra'ek, actually. They both witnessed their father having affairs with other women, both resent the womanizer in their parent. While main guy leaves his rich home to establish himself independent and so scornful of his father's character he refuses to accept single bath from him, main girl still stays with her parents. While he shows integrity and bravery (he rescues strangers from violent thieves), she shows immaturity & haughtiness. She's got no romance experience while he's been through severe heartbreak. The only line she connects to him is her pain over her parents marital problems.

I kind of liked both Thanwa's pra'ek & Sonya Singha's nang'ek with the other people and not with each other. Nang'ek clearly had her guy already in the one portrayed by Andrew Cronin. They seemed so cozy. On the other hand, pra'ek still met with the beautiful girl. And SHE was still sad about him. It made no sense she would break with him in the first place. Even if she was golddigger, she clearly was in love with Thanwa's pra'ek, why she needed to date his dad? It's the same family money. But then we wouldn't have this "drama". Right? So they made both Andrew Cronin's and Supaporn Malisorn's character classic badguys.

Pra'ek starts working for nang'ek's dad, only problem being he is actually son of nang'ek's dad's enemy and main competitor, which is something pra'ek should inform nang'ek's dad about, even if he and his dad parted ways. Nang'ek & pra'ek should actually know each other already if both their dads cross paths often. And in the age of internet, how come one of the dads would NOT know how the other's son looks like?:) There's also heartbreaking scene where pra'ek's father suffers a stroke and would clearly like to reconcile with his son, only he cannot speak straight. The son hides from his sight, leaving only his golddigger girlfriend by his side, whom he knows is actually annoyed with having to take care of a sick man. Well, basic logic never graced the lakornworld.

No real kiss even for Andrew Cronin and his secondary girl.

Also this is monstrose as the episode runtime is double than western drama/hispanic novela and the number of episodes is more than usual k-drama. Clearly I don't wish to spend THAT much time with this... I looked at the other review here and it said: skip it, lol. So, I will:) I like REALLY did not care about this.

There's title song sounding like an 80's hit, LOL.

I already watched Chippy Sirin (not the best looker, but there should also be Mona Amolrada in this) in one previous lakorn. The lakorn was so bad that I dropped it (I described my reasons in my review, it sounds unbelievable but it's true, I swear:) The girl seems cursed as I am dropping even the 2nd work I watched her in. But this is really a WEIRD piece of a lakorn, and I dare say only watchable for a few.

First epi is boring till Mac Wiranakarn shows up. His face looks better (finally he shaved) than in 'Chaobao Klua Fon' but what's with the hair? They forgot to cut it? There's always something. Also... he is some kind of psycho rapist? Now I understand the psycho hairstyle. It kinda is a waste to put this handsome guy in such role but then this nang'ek really has no other option than Puen Khanin. His character is kind, but has been "raised by the wolwes", LOL.

Second epi Puen Khanin begins to interact with the nang'ek. It's way different kind of fun than with the psycho Mac:) Obviously, first the nang'ek believes he's a psycho too, but she's to discover he's been living like a jungle kid. I still don't know where Mona Amolrada is. Mac Wiranakarn's character stays on, without being put into mental asylum, due some stupid plot.

Puen Khanin keeps shining on. He didn't dissappoint as the main cast (so far I've only seen him in one previous lakorn with Margie Rasri, where he was sharing the spotlight with Grate Warintorn). He's very likeable and cute. I wondered whether he wore a wig or actually grew long hair for this role:) His character is downright nice, he doesn't have a dark side. Even the main girl, who got treated by her family as a servant (typical cinderella) is meaner than him. If I met someone so downright innocent, I wouldn't be able to treat him like she did at times.

I wondered why isn't she more protective of him, as one could suspect he'll probably never be so happy again out there in real world like he was on his little island. Sadly, his 'Princess' (as he devotedly calls her) starts being manipulative towards him the second she finds out he's actually a lost rich heir. Never once she stops to think whether the "uncle" that raised him might be right about him being more safe there, at his island hideout.

Episode 4, there's finally Mona Amolrada. She is another girl who meets Puen Khanin's character. Will she treat him better? Apparently yes, as she ends up being called 'Angel' by him. But 'Princess' is quickly there to claim him back (she even lies that she is his wife) and collects him at the nearest police station where he ends up due "eccentric behavior".

Then they arrive in capital city. Sadly everyone treats Tiwa as a "retard" in there, as he behaves like a kid. On the island, he knew about many things. Except a few weird traits caused by fairy-tales told him by his "uncle", it was clear he had intelligence. He made quick independent decisions too, when strange people came on the island. In the city, he knows about nothing. At first it is funny. But... he does what ANYONE tells him to. Actually his only stopping mechanism seems to be when he remembers his 'Princess' instructions. 'Angel' then brings him to a doctor who's supposed to assess his intelligence. Then 'Angel' tries to help him her way, but 'Princess' interferes, and... acts like a crook, actually. Perhaps the scriptwriter really did not intend her a good character? But aren't the two supposed to be nang'ek & pra'ek?

After episode 5, it all starts to drag. It starts getting weird when 'Princess' brings Tiwa to the house to live with her friend (some annoying guy with low acting skills called Ou Smithi). The psycho rapist appears there, too. I still cannot accept him as regular character, let alone the "love rival", as he clearly belongs to a loony bin (I understand they didn't want to just cast Mac Wiranakarn aside, but then they should not have cast him in such role) and he nearly killed nang'ek. She's trying to use him somehow for her half-cooked greedy plans and he's trying not to rape/kill her. I felt bad for Tiwa yet again, when she treated the psycho better than him (she like, FORGOT what he did to her, or what?). The story got really all stupid and strange. There doesn't seem to be a single person without a mental problem or insane agenda... And that's tiring.

Episode 7, a random side-character decides to cut Tiwa's long hair. He actually looked cute with it, but I suppose the haircut made him look more civilized. It was so cute how he tried to impress his nang'ek:)) But it was probably done too soon: he still hasn't updated his behavior. Nevertheless, Tiwa's receiving "love advice" felt really weird. It was no longer clear whether he had "child mentality" or what mentality... What can be understood from the opening/closing credits collage, is that it shall all continue with both the guys (Mac Wiranakarn's and Puen Khanin's characters) aka "psycho & psycho" duo competing for the cynical nang'ek all the way (there are some shots of her in wedding dress). I like, REALLY don't wish to watch that. If you find all the lakorns the same and wish to watch something "different", then this is for you. But a bit TOO different for me, maybe?
