Disappointing

I never thought it would feel like pain to go through the who season only to be struck with a more mediocre finale.

Finally some light

This was probably the best episode in the season. Finally a plot line I cared about, the music was great and the first half especially was so good.

It's not it any more

This episode was a sleeper. An absolute snoozer. I feel like the show lost a huge deal of engagement when it decided to focused on new characters.

Running Out of Ideas?

You can't be serious. I watched the whole episode and still can't believe a lot of this low exists. How far must you have gone with zero ideas for a plot that you'd have to introduce an old rival to the MF?I gotta say tho, the last picture had me wheezing.

Amazingly Concluded Arc

I guessed this concluded the Keita arc. It was one of the best ngl. Especially at the end, Naoki, that cheeky bastard pulled up his passive-aggressive comments even when Keita was being nice to him.The ending with her reciting her thing and breaking into tears while he was there for here is so sweet.

This Is It

I feel like a turning point is upcoming, you could tell by who, of all people, Naoki turned back to Kinnosuke of all people for advice. The last part with Kotoko's breakdown was heartfelt, I think that was her best performance in both seasons so far. I'm impressed.

Something's Is Cooking And It Ain't Pleasing

It's been a awhile for me, but this episode kicked me back right off the start. This new nurse school arc is finna be fire and it's showing. I'm glad this adaptation isn't glossing over it like the K-drama did.The episode was pure fun and entertainment, Naoki showing signs of jealousy is great confrontational material, the dude who's crushing on Kotoko gives me good and happy vibes.

The Storm Is Brewing

This was definitely a slow episode, setting up stuff for the future. It's safe to assume that Kinnosuke and Chris are an item or at least they will be the next time they show up.I'm very excited for the next episode from what the preview let out on. FInally, some fire to observe.

The calm before the storm?

They had me in the first half, not gonna lie. She Chris stared at Naoki I thought this adaptation was gonna place her as a rival to Kotoko, I'm glad it's not the case. But then again, this version of her is so wild and chaotic. The mom always goes her way to embarrass the whole family. At least Kotoko and Naoki are good now, it's actually so sweet.

Hinokio'ed

The new opening is sooooo cute, although, I still prefer the old one, both visuals and song.Okay, so, how to even start? Naoki, please, dude, come on. COMMUNICATION!!! Is that so hard to do? I swear 90% of the plot won't happen if these two sat down and communicated like normal human beings.Okay, I'm just gonna let loose and fanboy over my bo Aoki, even tho it's just a guest role, I'm so happy to be jumped by a sudden cast member of my favorite movie, Hinokio.

Bad showing!

The episode started in the cutest most wholesome fashion only to turn into a shit fest by the time it was mid-episode. How do you go from a hilarious and cute honeymoon to blatantly showing straight up domestic violence and then that awful scene with the black man? He even called her a primary school student (where she was indeed 16 years old at the time while Furukawa was 26 of age) only to end up with a cheesy kissing scene. I'm appalled.

Finale na Kiss

That escalated quickly. You'd think with how the last episode left it would take another season for things to get resolved but I'm so dumbfounded by how it was all good and well by the end of the episode. And what an ending that made for.I was happy, sad, nervous, and confused all at the same time. I feel so bad for Kinnosuke, but does the main lead struck a special chemistry together? Kotoko and Irie finally kissing under the rain was so heartwarming, so long as you don't think about Honoka being 16 and Furukawa being 25 at the time of filming anyway. All in all, it was a rollercoaster and a different experience from the Korean version. I've grown to love this one with time, I can't get my head around what they will cover in the second season because this felt like a finale.

Itazura na Cameo

That was a genius-placed cameo, OG Naoki couldn't have come at a better time. It seems like she made his appearance by passing by Naoki in the hallway when Naoki most needed to be reminded of his dream.Sahoko really is a great match for Naoki, no matter how hard I try to dislike her. Also, it seems at this point that literally no one but the Mom cares about Kotoko and Naoki being an item.I feel so bad for Kin-chan, the more he tries the more I think his heart break will be at the end of the show.

Can we get much higher?

This was probably the best episode, it's just wow. Let's hope it's not downhill from here. The K-drama was very different around this part of the story, I think I like this interpretation better, it has more stakes somehow and is also very suspenseful, especially with the introduction of Sahoko. Man, she really is beautiful tho.I loved the stupid humourous part of Kotoko and her love rival teaming up to ruin the arranged marriage meeting, I would not have expected her to play along with Kotoko. Also, the mom was straight-up ruthless. The second hand embarrassment was killing me throughout.I hope everything goes well on KIn-chan's date, he needed a W.
