#1 Watch a drama special. (Not the behind-the-scenes episodes or the interviews or extra scenes)

Jan 4; for a 2-hour long light-hearted drama i guess this wasn't too bad?? it has a very simple yet sweet storyline that fits for a short watch when you're bored. i also find both leads quite likeable :)

#2 Watch a drama/movie adapted from a webtoon.

Jan 4; ngl i originally decided to watch only for Kim Min Gue but this turned out to be super enjoyable! i love how they depicted the love-hate relationship of siblings so entertainingly. there were tons of hilarious  that I cracked up over.. i genuinely enjoyed this!

#3 Watch a web series.

Jan 4; this was uh,, boring? i totally understand how web dramas lack the depth usual dramas do but this was just... i dont know.

#4 Watch a drama/movie that started airing the same year you joined MDL. (2018)

Jan 4; not really sure of what to make of this. it has a simple storyline yet it is not something that I find memorable enough.

#5 Watch a drama/movie with a non-human main character. 

Jan 4; don't get me wrong. i genuinely like both choi tae joon and jung chaeyeon... but this drama did absolute injustice in terms of showcasing their acting skills! there were many plot holes and cringeworthy scenes.. and the ending was just.. hmph.

Jan 4; i totally understand why this one got such low ratings lol. but hey, i was truly in need of refreshing my eyes and watching these 7 visuals really did the trick~

Jan 4; this web series had two couples with their own storylines.. and while i can't deny how cute oh ji woon is.. this one just ain't it for me :( i really dislike how the first part ended.

Jan 5; this one's not something i would rewatch, but the storyline is definitely the most creative and cute one so far! it's not everyday you encounter a drama with a male lead who turns into a dog lol. this one will definitely stay up in my memory for a while.

Jan 5; i was first drawn to this bc of kyungsoo as i know that he's a very good actor and i love exo. i do like the concept of the story (the male lead is a broke uni student who is trying to direct a movie) but it's sadly not my cup of tea :/

Jan 5; i decided to watch this bc i love the actor - he's shown great acting skills in Hwarang. but the female lead just pretty much ruined everything for me with her acting skills (sorry :( ).

Jan 5; this was an amazing movie, hands down. i loved the character development and the ending had me crying like a baby! both actors were so so great in portraying their characters!

Jan 9; the ending had me cry a RIVER. song joong ki and park bo young swept me off my feet with their acting! they were so full of emotions and although i wish the movie didn't end that way, this movie is a new favorite for me!

Jan 10; i had been planning to watch this drama for a long time (bc of xiumin) and finally got the chance to do so.. but this is honestly not my cup of tea :(

Jan 11; yet another movie that had me in tears! this was so so beautiful and the storyline was amazing. i don't usually watch movies about family but this one just left me speechless.

Jan 11; i quite enjoyed watching this one! this is another web series with two different couples with their own storyline. i really liked the first part of the drama - the female lead is just so loveable and the story is so sweet and cute! (especially with the napkin thing)

Jan 12; i haven't had the time to watch love o2o series yet so i decided to watch the movie version first. and honestly this was amazing! i loved the scenes where they were in the gaming world.. it was very realistic yet dreamlike! both leads had undeniable visuals and this storyline is definitely my type. im looking forward to watch the series version once i get the time.

Jan 12; hmm.. this was a bit dull for me. it's the typical cliche school drama tbh.

Jan 12; this is the 2nd thai drama i've watched in my entire lifetime and i wasn't disappointed! the female lead is super pretty and i loved how the storyline went. the male lead is super likeable and sweet as well!

Jan 13; i've always loved watching dramas taking place in any dynasty era. i like how this movie is the lighthearted version of the complicated joseon drama storylines i usually watch! i like the concept of the story and it entertained me from the beginning to the end.

Jan 14; this is the first japanese drama i've ever watched and im definitely not used to how straightforward the dialogue is..?? i do love the concept behind the story but i guess japanese movies just aren't for me XD

Jan 14: i really enjoyed watching this movie and i think the message behind it is quite meaningful -- that u should not sacrifice ur dreams simply for love. the two leads are really adorable and sweet together as well.

Jan 14; HOLY CRAP. this is honestly the best drama special i've ever watched. the characters are all so adorable and lovable, and i think i've found a new liking in both male lead actors! the storyline is so nicely done and i totally wish it lasted longer than 2 hours :(

Jan 15; having loved splash splash love, i decided to watch ahn hyo seop and kim seulgi's web series (this one). i have to say i'm a bit disappointed with how they emphasized the importance of having a pretty face?? the first lead did get a positive character development but in the end i think byun tae hyun totally deserved better!! this is second lead syndrome all over again.. :(

Jan 17; i really really enjoyed watching this one! this was such a sweet movie and the male lead is super lovable! i take my words back.. japanese movies CAN be amazing!

#26 Watch a Comedy drama/movie or a sitcom. 

Jan 18; OHMYGOSH I LOVE THIS DRAMA. at the start i thought the storyline was cringy and i wasn't too keen of both lead characters... bUT THEN the drama progresses SOSO nicely! i couldn't stop watching it until the end and the leads had such great chemistry! definitely my new favorite.. it's like moon lovers: scarlet heart ryeo but with a happy ending (something we've all been wanting ;) )

#27 Watch a drama/movie which began airing/premiered between 2011 to 2015.

Jan 19; after watching one week friends, it's nice to see yamazaki kento playing a more serious and vulnerable character. i have to say this movie is absolutely AMAZING and had me in tears! it brings such a powerful message on how precious true friends are in times we're in need.

#28 Watch a drama/movie that was recently reviewed.

Jan 20; this was a really interesting drama to watch... i think yamazaki kento really got to showcase his acting skills (and how good-looking he is asdsjdjs)!! the storyline is definitely not something i usually go for but something about this drama really keeps me curious to watch what happens next! the character development was also smoothly and nicely done.

Jan 22; this drama was the sweetest! the plot did feel a bit dragged once in a while which may get frustrating... but i loved how the character development went! this drama truly played with my emotions.

Jan 22; watched this for yamazaki kento.. and i have to say i was rather disappointed with the storyline. the female lead was rather obnoxious (sorry) and the second lead syndrome is REAL! :(( the way the movie is narrated is definitely creative but this movie could've done so much better.

Jan 26; i am thoroughly impressed with this drama! it's not the genre i usually go for, but the plot is so sophisticated and fast-paced that i cant help but binge-watch to the very end! i love the concept of having two different time settings, and everything is well executed.

Jan 26; i dont have a full knowledge on the card game since i dont read mangas, but i did enjoy this movie. i think ill be watching the sequel some time soon :)

Jan 28; this was such a sweet, light and fluffy drama! all the characters were so loveable and hilarious, and it is rare to see a drama where the antagonist goes through character development as well. the couple has amazing chemistry and is so adorable together :(( im sososo soft for this one

#34 Watch a Crime, Investigation, or Detective drama/movie.

Jan 29; this has such a well-written plot! despite the drama having only 4 episodes, it didnt feel rush nor dragged out. i started watching for joon hyuk but i wasnt disappointed by anything in this drama :)

#35 Watch a Sports or Martial Arts drama/movie.

Jan 29; im honestly just watching the whole series for the sake of nomura shuhei and mackenyu XD i dont read mangas so im literally super clueless about how the story goes.. but the movies are definitely enjoyable so far.

Jan 31; this drama left me speechless. from its jaw-breaking plot to its cinematography, each and every episode never failed to amaze me. im truly hoping that there will be a sequel anytime soon! :'(

#37 Watch a drama/movie with students or children as the main cast.

Feb 1; ah, i've finally reached the end of the chihayafuru series :'( i must say, i enjoyed the movie even more from one to the other, and the background music was so calming and feels like a fairytale! im happy to see that each character gets their own development in the movies... i truly wished she had ended up with someone! :( nevertheless, this was a great journey.

#38 Watch a Mystery, Thriller, or Psychological drama/movie.

Feb 3; after watching shopping king louie, watching seo in guk take a whole different character amazes me. i think the plot was well-written enough, although the ending stresses me out to the core :') i also wished his ability with having a photographic memory was explored further. nevertheless, it was nice to watch a drama with an antihero, which i dont normally go for.

#39 Watch a Horror, Vampire, or Zombie drama/movie.

Feb 3; after so long, i finally got to watch song kang's acting and it wasnt bad at all. honestly the plot was rather boring so unless ur here only to kill time, i wouldnt recommend going for this movie. 

#40 Watch a Documentary, autobiographical, or biographical drama/movie.

Feb 3; oof  i missed this drama a lot! watching this makes me able to confirm the amazing chemistry between all casts in the drama. bo gum and yoo jung are absolute sweethearts <3

#41 Watch a Law or Business drama/movie.

Feb 5; this was so difficult to finish and i've been putting it on hold for soo long! i genuinely enjoyed the first half of the drama, but then it gets super boring and felt like the drama was desperate to reach the 16-episode mark. however the acting and comedy was fine, i just truly wished the storyline was written in a better way.

Feb 8; despite being a slow drama, i thought it was a nice and interesting plot. i do, however, have mixed feelings for the main leads -- in the first half of the drama i was really annoyed by their relationship (it almost seemed toxic to me). i thought if only he told the truth things wouldnt have gotten as complicated (the same goes to her father, who i initially thought was the antagonist). it gets better tho i guess, and i enjoyed the drama nonetheless.

#43 Watch a drama/movie about Food, Music, Art, or Animals.

Feb 8; shin hye sun showed graceful and amazing acting skills in this drama. the poems were beautiful as well. however it was sad to see the lack of chemistry the two leads have, and how the drama romanticizes suicide.

Feb 10; this is melodrama at its finest. the fairytale-like yet nostalgic cinematography perfectly captures this, and every single scene was so beautiful! the plot is extremely slow, but i had no problem with it as the drama is heavily focused on character development. the leads' chemistry wasnt overflowing, but their amazing acting skills make up for it! park bo gum played such an innocent and positive character and it makes my heart super soft.

Feb 11; this was a sweet, light-hearted drama. i enjoyed watching this, the leads had good chemistry and i really liked the ending :)

Feb 12; i decided to watch this bc ive never seen ok taecyeon's drama before. i think his acting skills were fine, but the drama's plot was terrible! and despite the FL's boyfriend being a total jerk, she still cheated on him and i couldnt help but cringe.

Feb 15; this was a very cute and funny drama. even though im not too fond of the ML cast, his acting was really good and they had amazing chemistry! the plot was very simple and feels very lighthearted, yet no single second in this drama bores me out. definitely a new favorite.

#48 Watch a Sci-Fi, Fantasy, or Supernatural drama/movie.

Feb 15; i think this was a very meaningful drama. despite having a supernatural genre, its message truly applies to the reality of today's society. 'dont judge a book by its cover' is indeed a cliche and overused word, but this drama managed to excellently deliver this message to everyone's hearts.

Feb 16; im impressed with how well this drama explored such a taboo issue. interestingly, no second in this drama made me cringe. the character development was done so well (ML doesn't stay 15) that their relationship becomes a beautiful story. also, cant really believe this is okada kenshi's debut drama??? his acting was so great and i think im in love.

Feb 16; i normally avoid dramas/movies that aired/premiered before 2015, so this challenge really gets me out of my comfort zone. im honestly surprised with how i enjoyed this movie. it has a very melodramatic feel.

Feb 16; this was a very slow movie, yet that's what makes it so relaxing. i've always loved time travel stories, and this one took my breath away.

Mar 2; while waiting for the crowned clown's final episode, i decided to watch its original story. this was genuinely an enjoyable movie.

Mar 3; i tend to avoid dramas with minimal romance.. but this was soso good! even with multiple mains everything was so interesting from beginning to end. it is the perfect drama that depicts the reality and hardships of life.

Mar 4; whew, 3 hours long! in spite of its duration, the plot doesnt feel dragged on. i truly enjoyed watching this.

Mar 5; this drama was one hell of a ride! out of all the historical dramas and movies ive watched... this is the one with the best plot so far. every single episode keeps me wanting to watch more, huge kudos to the writer!
