Jeong Dae Yun
Sul-coreano
Dae Yoon as of 2014 has had a good streak of directing romantic comedies that do well outside of Korea. His dramas are fun and what I like to consider "clean" and not overly sweet/cheesy. In 2016 he attempted directing a more serious drama "W" which also did well, but could have done better if it wasn't stifled by that comedic relief he's known for. Overall solid director with a focus in RomComs.

Song Hyung Suk
Sul-coreano
Song Hyung Suk's speciality seems to shine when he directs series with genres in action, crime, or thriller. His most notable projects are "The Guardians" and "Two Weeks" which fall into that space. Each episode seems to end in a cliffhanger that leaves you begging for more which is great for building suspense. He has tried his hand at RomComs and Romance series but are lacking in comparison to his action dramas.

Oh Hyun Jong
Sul-coreano
Although he has a consistent record of directing dramas every year since 2011, it's not until 2016 with the series 'Weight Lifting Fairy" that he has directed somewhat notable projects. His most recent work was "Two Cops" but reviews suggest that the cast is what made the story rather than the actual story.
