Supporting Artists
Hero or Villain?
I smile every time I see them onscreen, whether the role is audaciously angelic or dastardly evil.
In no particular order, since it's impossible to choose a favorite:
-
-
Kim Seul Gi
Sul-coreano
I love Kim Seul Gi. Whether the role is sweet, or psychotic, she is always funny & a treat to watch.
-
Lee Kyu Hyung
Sul-coreano
Lee Kyu Hyung can do no wrong. He's a chameleon, completely believable in a variety of diverse roles.
-
-
Oh Min Suk
Sul-coreano
Oh Min Suk needs more roles. Whether as a lead office mentor in Misaeng, or the (slightly?) psychotic mastermind in The King Loves, I want him to win. His character motivations have depth and are relateable, no matter the nature of the role.
-
Lee Moo Saeng
Sul-coreano
Lee Moo Saeng lights up the screen and steals every scene!
My first time viewing him on-screeen has been in Designated Survivor: 60 days, but I will be looking for his work from now on. -
Son Seok Koo
Sul-coreano
Son Seok Koo's performances have an unexpected vulnerability that leave you sympathizing with complicated motivations, whether he's portraying a good-guy or murderer. He's one to watch in the future!

Seo Yi Sook
Sul-coreano
I love to hate her. I enjoy her light-hearted fare. Seo Yi Sook's acting is tremendously engaging. I am completely invested whenever she's on screen.
-
Jung Woong In
Sul-coreano
Roles with complicated motivations, whether hero or villain, are Jung Woong In's specialty. You want to hug him & hit him with a hammer, all the while hoping he grant's you a smidgeon of praise. <3

Bae Jong Ok
Sul-coreano
Ruthless or maternal, Bae Jong Ok captivates with her assured competence and complete capability. Whether she is hunting down a criminal or outmaneuvering our heroes, I want her to win... always.
-
Song Young Kyu
Sul-coreano
Song Young Kyu's deep voice brings gravitas into what could otherwise be cheesy cliche roles.

Kim Sung Oh
Sul-coreano
Kim Sung Oh had me cracking up as the office assistant in Hwanyugi. It was a joy to see him again in Fight My Way. Give this guy more roles!
-
Hwang Bo Ra
Sul-coreano
I had to warm up to her occassional over the top antics, but now I adore Hwang Bo Ra.
-
Choi Young Joon
Sul-coreano
In Flower of Evil, he really held his own against Lee Joon Gi as the suspicious, yet supportive detective. There were moments that he shone as the better partner.

-
Yoon Bo Mi
Sul-coreano
Hilarious in Because This Is My First Life! Does the deadpan comedienne role with style. Can't wait to see more from Yoon Bo Mi.

Yang Kyung Won
Sul-coreano
Crash Landing on You was such a fun, pivotal role. Yes, he can play the clown, but one that grows and has hidden depths. I cheered when I saw him again in Vincenzo.
-
Im Chul Soo
Sul-coreano
Im Chul SOo is everywhere! I look over his profile and it is full of dramas that I love, each role a quirky little gem.
-
-
Jung Jae Oh
Sul-coreano
He has completely stolen every scene of Ga Du Ri's Restaruant. Utterly adorable. I look forward to see where his acting career takes him.
-
Hwang Hee
Sul-coreano
The few shining moments of the Tale of the Nine-Tailed were mostly due to Hwange Hee & Kim Yong Ji.

Yoo Teo

I first saw Yoo Tae Oh as in School Nurse files. I enjoyed his performance in this quirky gem. (BTW, Mr. Mac has the best hair!)
