Best of the best, nothing has ever come close to this drama. I've rewatched it so many times.

Yang Zi and her many many boyfriends. Seriously one of my favorite dramas though. All of the dramas are on this list, but this one especially so. The longing, the angst. Fuck it hurts so good. I can't wait to watch season two.

My favorite modern drama by far. Big families + a smartass FL is exactly my type. 

Other worldly. 

Sometimes dramas come out of nowhere when you have no expectations and then you're completely blown away. 

Short and bittersweet. Rewatches hurt even more than the first time. 

My heart hurts every time I even think about this drama.

I miss dramas like this. Male leads that aren't cookie cutter good boys. An actually stoic and true to himself ML. He had his beliefs, like them or not, and he stuck to them. No amount of love for the FL changed who he was deep down, and I appreciated that. It hurt like hell to watch, but damn if it wasn't emotional. Toxic, yes. But it's a drama guys. The characters don't need to follow modern moral guidelines.

Wu Bo Song deserved better. 

You will never find as cool of a heroine as you will here. Zhao Li Ying is tiny yet manages to pull off being the most physically badass heroine ever. 

Though I will never forget the heartbreak of finding out THAT was the last episode. 

Yang Zi's best project. I wish she would get cast in more shows of this caliber. An amazing ww2 drama.

Edit: Many years since I wrote this, Lost You Forever came out and now I think that is actually her best project but Changsha is still absolutely amazing.

Best of the three imo. Definitely the best leads.

A Love So Beautiful alternate universe basically. Jk but kind of not really. The friendships were given a lot more care here imo. 

I am a giant sucker for friends to lovers and unrequited love tropes and this baby has both. It hurts so good.

Best adaptation. Fight me.

The rom com that started it all. 

I don't know why I loved this drama so much. It is absolutely ridiculous and incoherent at times, but I was dying laughing the entire show.

This is seriously so good though. Like, it's not quite as good as 10MPB but it is close.

bratty lil male lead and a cutie patootie female lead mixed with unrequited love AND friends to lovers. MWAH

It's like if Ming Lan was made for teenagers. Big family with a smart but underdog FL. Zhao Lusi  is also crazy adorable in this. The romance wasn't the greatest here but everything else was so good.

Regret and redemption. The FL made such grave mistakes and really learned from them. Her solemn mind and desire to set things right are never lost. One of the best female leads.

I don't think I've ever seen a historical cdrama tackle this topic in such a straightforward way. They approached this subject matter with all of the intensity and anger that it required. A really special show, even if the editing/directing felt a tad jarring at times.
