Sexuality Crisis Ascended (Non-BL)
In which someone experiences a sexuality crisis because the perceived gender of the person they're attracted to doesn't fall into their usual realm of attraction. Then they accept their new sexuality and love the other person without reservations. (2022 update: I've realized this happens more often than not in BL, so I'm no longer including them.)

Doesn't fully qualify for this list, as the ML struggles with a lot of internalized homophobia that he never overcomes. He does, however, viscerally reject the idea that the man he's in love with is actually a woman in disguise. (But we still get the "thank-god-I'm-not-gay" gender reveal later.)

10. Club Friday To Be Continued: She Changed
Thai Drama - 2016, 13 episodes
A butch woman (tom) who previously considered herself a lesbian comes to terms with being attracted to a man. On the other hand, it seems like toms are treated like a third gender or lesser men in Thailand? Because the straight ML does some of his own self-interrogation, and his love confession comes with the admission that "maybe he's gay" for being in love with a tom. (Overall the whole thing was not handled well, and the FL says at the end that "a woman needs a man to take care of her." But she didn't start presenting more feminine even a year into their relationship, so there's that.)
